Rune Knight Activity Check
Please fill out the following form and submit it as a reply to this thread so we can check to see who all is still active and around. Anyone who does not reply to this check by the time it is done will be removed from the Rune Knight roster and the Rune Knight Discord channel, and will need to reapply their character to join again.
New players who have joined the Rune Knights within the last thirty days should still reply to the check, but will be exempt from having to provide a recent post as we know sometimes it takes a bit to get characters/magic going.
Players on a posted hiatus are exempt from the check.
Deadline is September 6th, 11:59pm EST. If you are unable to post to the check for any reason, please attempt to contact the Field Marshal, Director, or a General to notify us. Thank you!
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR FUTURE ACTIVITY CHECKS: Please be advised that starting after this check, Rune Knight activity checks will now be done on a monthly basis to ensure activity. The GM's have been monitoring activity the last couple checks and had noticed a number of individuals that have really only been posting once or twice right before ACs to maintain activity, but otherwise not being active with their characters between those times. We feel this is unfair to other players, particularly when RK is often closed for being at maxed capacity of membership. Additionally, we also have been looking to the CoC for guidance:
"A player may be considered inactive if they do not post, or post extremely sparsely, over the course of more than 1 month without taking a leave of absence or hiatus. " CoC under item #7
Therefore, moving forward RK activity checks will be done on a monthly basis and it is expected that you have at least TWO posts during that time frame that meet the bare minimum of site WC requirements (50 words). As always, we will take extraneous circumstances into consideration in having these requirements met and exceptions may be made on a case by case basis, provided that RK staff are communicated with in a reasonable and timely fashion. However, in general we feel that 100 words a month between two posts is quite reasonable to make, even if a player has several alts and other responsibilities on the site.
