    Magic Name: Cruorthurgy
    Magic Type: Summoning (Primary), Ancient (Auxiliary)
    Description: Blood magic. The most ancient and forbidden of arts. Cruorthurgy is considered the original dark art, and for good reason. Throughout its history of use, it has been predominantly practiced by sorcerers who sought immense power and had no regard for the sanctity of life. They utilized blood, be it their own or (more often) someone else’s, to cast their spells. Blood is the ultimate fuel of all life, and thus holds innate authority over the living and fathomless capacity for potency. Since the circumstances of the birth of blood magic has been lost over the eons, it is impossible for modern wizards a researchers to understand the true nature of the magic. In many recorded incidents it appears to have divine origins, while in just as many other it appears related to the demonic. It is an enigma that historians of magic have spent entire lifetimes unsuccessfully attempting to piece together.

    The truth is, that blood magic contains equal elements of both divine and demonic energy. This is because its creator was a nephilim: a being half angel and half demon. Victoria was the first nephilim to be born of the eight that came to life at the beginning of time. Each of them were designated as heralds of the Apocalypse known as “Seals”, and were given a domain of authority over which they preside. Victoria is the first seal, known as the Seal of Conquest. Her birthright is to crush all who stand against her beneath her heel. All her enemies shall be slain or dominated, and to ensure her victory she created a terrifying magic that is perfectly suited to her destiny. However, as a Seal she is cursed to be reliant upon sharing a soul and body with a mortal, passing from host to host through the bloodline of the original mortal she was bound to, of which Serilda is the most recent.

    Cruorthurgy can be used in a number of ways, really only being limited by the creativity and determination of the caster. Though it is primarily associated with nefarious wizards of ill repute, blood magic itself is not inherently evil in nature. It can be used to build the natural defenses of the body, to heal the most grievous of injuries, and even to boost a person’s physical strength. But with it also comes the ability to perform acts of supreme maleficence. One may use blood to connect one living thing to another, to inflict illness or physical agony, to summon and control beings of frightful power, or even to cause instant death to those not strong enough to overcome it. Whether the blood is inside or outside the body of a living creature is insignificant; it can be manipulated either way. Apart from physical effects, blood can also be used to gain knowledge and perpetrate fear. To control blood is to subjugate life itself, making it the ultimate tool for conquest.

    Magic Type Benefits:

    Unique Abilities:

    • Blood Mastery: Serilda’s control of her own blood is so absolute that she can even keep it from leaving her body while she’s being attacked. This translates into a 60% boost to her defensive spells. Additionally, if she drinks or tastes someone’s blood (whether dead or alive) she can gain basic knowledge about them, including but not limited to their strongest memories or most recent thoughts. This can only be done on another player character with their permission, and the information learned must be approved by the other player.
    • Blood Stamina: The Seal of Conquest specializes in victory at all costs. She refuses to be defeated. As such, Serilda’s defensive shields receive a 50% resistance to physical attack damage. She also receives an additional 10% boost to the durability of her defensive spells. She also receives a 5% regeneration to her HP.
    • Blood Supremacy: Serilda’s defensive shields also receive a 50% resistance to magical attack damage as well as an additional 10% increase to the durability of her defensive spells. She receives another 5% increase to HP regeneration.

    Description: Victoria’s royal army of nephilim, pledged to her cause and her purpose. The army can be summoned with as many or as few soldiers as is reasonable for the thread and location. However, since the army itself counts as a singular summoned unit, the HP pool is shared between them. Once the HP is reduced to zero, the army has been defeated and more soldiers must be summoned to continue the fight.

    Description: The Bloodletters have been fighting together for millennia. As formidable as each individual soldier is, they are even more of a force to be reckoned with when they are actively working together. They come together for a coordinated physical attack that weakens their enemy’s physical defenses. For the duration of the attack, all enemies within range suffer a 50% debuff to their melee damage resistances.

    Description: At the beginning of this spell, the Bloodletters release a coordinated pulse of raw magical energy that hits all targets within range and weakens their magical defenses. For the duration of the spell, the targets receive a 50% reduction to their magical damage resistances.

    Description: By applying a bit of her knowledge from her Voidwalking magic, Serilda can draw blood from her opponents without actually having to cause physical harm to them. By manipulating her target’s blood through the pockets of Void between their body’s atoms, she pulls the blood violently from the veins where it seeps from their flesh despite having no open wounds. This damage is halved if used to pierce through an opponent’s shielding. Targets are aware of this attack before it takes effect by the feeling of an intense pressure in the air around their bodies.

Since she has no concept of social restraint, she tends to speak her mind freely and often fails to see why mortals are so disturbed by the things she says or does that she perceives as normal.

    Description: Mazikeen loves to hurt things from up close and personal. She receives a permanent 90% boost to her strength. As a plot ability, she is also an empath which helps her read people's emotion to know if she is torturing them aptly enough for her liking.     Description: Maze is like a cockroach: unpleasant to be around and refuses to die as quickly as you’d like. Her healing effects are increased by 90% for the duration of the spell. She also receives a 5% HP regeneration.

    Description: By tapping into her target’s blood while it’s inside their body, Serilda can physically control their movements like they are a puppet on a string. This only takes over the body, not the mind. While being controlled, they may be forced to do certain things like such as attacking themselves or their allies. In these instances, the attacks made can only be melee as Serilda only controls their bodies not their magic. This can only be used on a PC or a PC owned NPC with their permission. The target also suffers a 5% HP drain once per post if hit by this spell. For the duration of the spell, Serilda's spell damage is increased by 100%. Targets are aware of this attack before it takes effect by the feeling of an intense pressure in the air around their bodies.

    Description: Zoelle is an angel that once fought a war against Victoria many centuries ago. She won several battles, single handedly defeating hordes of the Seal’s soldiers and driving them back. Ultimately, Victoria won and was able to overpower the woman. Rather than kill her, she conscripted Zoelle to her army through a blood ritual that bound the angel to her promise. Though Zoelle does not particularly like Victoria, she does respect her battle prowess and submits to her authority -- albeit with some grumbling at times. She is a quiet individual that only speaks when she feels her opinion important to hear, but she does have a relaxed sense of humor and is often quick to laugh or smile.

    Description: Zoelle’s body radiates with the brilliance of her divine nature, blinding all within the range of her burst. Targets affected by this attack suffer a 100% debuff to their speed as they struggle to regain their vision. For the duration of the spell they are blinded and immobilized once every other round.

    Description: Zoelle is an expert marksman with her sniper rifle. Lining up her shot, she discharges a magical bullet that deals heavy damage to a target in her range. For the duration of the spell, her magic damage is increased by 100%. This spell pierces armor, and is subject to piercing rule effects. Additionally, for the duration for the spell if the target is hit they suffer a 5% HP drain.

For the duration of the spell, she can choose to spent the appropriate amount of MP to negate a spell directed at her up to once per post.

Serilda is contracted to work for him as his Unholy Paladin, but with the use of Victoria’s magic she is also able to demand and force his aid when needed.

    Description: As the self proclaimed Lord of Ice, Ozorith can switch his aura to an active state that freezes and damages any target that gets too close during a fight. His spell damage is increased by 105% for the duration of this spell and he gets a 5% regeneration to his HP.

    Description: A person’s connection and attachment to their blood is an intimate and sacred reality. Even once a person’s blood has been drawn or spilled it can be used to aid or hinder them. By coming into contact with the blood of an enemy, she can use it to connect their bodies to another target whose blood she has contacted. The second target can either be another enemy or herself. For the duration of the spell, once per post, an attack that hits one target will inflict an additional 75% of its total damage on the second target. This means that if she uses herself as a second target, she will take extra damage as well.

    This spell can only be used on PC targets with permission. Since Serilda has control over the connection, she chooses which attack each round is used to generate the damage. In order to make the connection, she must have come into contact with the targets’ blood in the thread the spell is being used in, not a prior thread. Piercing rules apply to each target that has an active shield. Targets are aware of this attack before it takes effect by the feeling of an intense pressure in the air around their bodies.

    Name: Kuroryu the Void Dragon

    Type: Immaculate Summons

    Downside:
    Description: Once a king and a great warrior, Kuroryu was also once a host to the Seal of Conquest. It was during that time that he defeated Muko the Void Dragon, both their souls inexplicably fusing together to create one being that was both dragon and man. Ironically, this alteration of Kuroryu’s soul also cause Victoria to be severed from him where she was cast into her next host. With their souls separated, she was able to instead form a contract with him that would allow her to summon him to her aid when she desired. Kuroryu has a firey temper that he uses to fuel his strength in battle, and he believes himself superior to other humans due to being both a king and a dragon. He respects only one thing: power.

    Description: Kuroryu has 50% damage reductions to melee and spell damage, and regenerates his HP at 5% per post. As a plot device, he can also switch between his original human form and the dragon form he inherited when his soul fused with Muko’s.

    Description: Kuroryu’s goes on a destructive rampage. His melee damage output is increased by 172% for the duration of the spell. This attack deals DoT as a second effect due to the monstrous brutality of the attacks. He receives 5% HP regeneration for the duration of the spell. Targets caught in this attack suffer immobilization every other round and are drained of 5% of their HP once per post until the spell has ended.

    Void Dragon’s Roar:

    Name: Void Dragon’s Roar
    Type: Multiple Target
    Damage: 158HP
    Range: 350m
    Speed: 600mps
    Duration: 25
    Downside: Range reduced by 50% to increase buff cap by 50%.
    Description: Kuroryu lets out the mighty roar of a true dragon, unleashing the power of the Void on his enemies and leaving them vulnerable for him to maul. For the duration of the spell, his strength is increased by 122%. He receives 5% HP regeneration for the duration of the spell. Targets caught in this attack suffer 5% HP and MP drain once per post, and must spend an additional 50% MP to cast their spells for the duration.

    Description: Blood magic. The most ancient and forbidden of arts. Cruorthurgy is considered the original dark art, and for good reason. Throughout its history of use, it has been predominantly practiced by sorcerers who sought immense power and had no regard for the sanctity of life. They utilized blood, be it their own or (more often) someone else’s, to cast their spells. Blood is the ultimate fuel of all life, and thus holds innate authority over the living and fathomless capacity for potency. Since the circumstances of the birth of blood magic has been lost over the eons, it is impossible for modern wizards a researchers to understand the true nature of the magic. In many recorded incidents it appears to have divine origins, while in just as many other it appears related to the demonic. It is an enigma that historians of magic have spent entire lifetimes unsuccessfully attempting to piece together.

    The truth is, that blood magic contains equal elements of both divine and demonic energy. This is because its creator was a nephilim: a being half angel and half demon. Victoria was the first nephilim to be born of the eight that came to life at the beginning of time. Each of them were designated as heralds of the Apocalypse known as “Seals”, and were given a domain of authority over which they preside. Victoria is the first seal, known as the Seal of Conquest. Her birthright is to crush all who stand against her beneath her heel. All her enemies shall be slain or dominated, and to ensure her victory she created a terrifying magic that is perfectly suited to her destiny. However, as a Seal she is cursed to be reliant upon sharing a soul and body with a mortal, passing from host to host through the bloodline of the original mortal she was bound to, of which Serilda is the most recent.

    Cruorthurgy can be used in a number of ways, really only being limited by the creativity and determination of the caster. Though it is primarily associated with nefarious wizards of ill repute, blood magic itself is not inherently evil in nature. It can be used to build the natural defenses of the body, to heal the most grievous of injuries, and even to boost a person’s physical strength. But with it also comes the ability to perform acts of supreme maleficence. One may use blood to connect one living thing to another, to inflict illness or physical agony, to summon and control beings of frightful power, or even to cause instant death to those not strong enough to overcome it. Whether the blood is inside or outside the body of a living creature is insignificant; it can be manipulated either way. Apart from physical effects, blood can also be used to gain knowledge and perpetrate fear. To control blood is to subjugate life itself, making it the ultimate tool for conquest.

    Unique Abilities:

    • Blood Mastery: Serilda’s control of her own blood is so absolute that she can even keep it from leaving her body while she’s being attacked. This translates into a 60% boost to her defensive spells. Additionally, if she drinks or tastes someone’s blood (whether dead or alive) she can gain basic knowledge about them, including but not limited to their strongest memories or most recent thoughts. This can only be done on another player character with their permission, and the information learned must be approved by the other player.
    • Blood Stamina: The Seal of Conquest specializes in victory at all costs. She refuses to be defeated. As such, Serilda’s defensive shields receive a 50% resistance to physical attack damage. She also receives an additional 10% boost to the durability of her defensive spells. She also receives a 5% regeneration to her HP.
    • Blood Supremacy: Serilda’s defensive shields also receive a 50% resistance to magical attack damage as well as an additional 10% increase to the durability of her defensive spells. She receives another 5% increase to HP regeneration.

    Description: Victoria’s royal army of nephilim, pledged to her cause and her purpose. The army can be summoned with as many or as few soldiers as is reasonable for the thread and location. However, since the army itself counts as a singular summoned unit, the HP pool is shared between them. Once the HP is reduced to zero, the army has been defeated and more soldiers must be summoned to continue the fight.

By manipulating her target’s blood through the pockets of Void between their body’s atoms, she pulls the blood violently from the veins where it seeps from their flesh despite having no open wounds. This damage is halved if used to pierce through an opponent’s shielding. Targets are aware of this attack before it takes effect by the feeling of an intense pressure in the air around their bodies.

    Description: Zoelle is an angel that once fought a war against Victoria many centuries ago. She won several battles, single handedly defeating hordes of the Seal’s soldiers and driving them back. Ultimately, Victoria won and was able to overpower the woman. Rather than kill her, she conscripted Zoelle to her army through a blood ritual that bound the angel to her promise. Though Zoelle does not particularly like Victoria, she does respect her battle prowess and submits to her authority -- albeit with some grumbling at times. She is a quiet individual that only speaks when she feels her opinion important to hear, but she does have a relaxed sense of humor and is often quick to laugh or smile.

Additionally, for the duration for the spell if the target is hit they suffer a 5% HP drain.

Serilda is contracted to work for him as his Unholy Paladin, but with the use of Victoria’s magic she is also able to demand and force his aid when needed.

    Description: A person’s connection and attachment to their blood is an intimate and sacred reality. Even once a person’s blood has been drawn or spilled it can be used to aid or hinder them. By coming into contact with the blood of an enemy, she can use it to connect their bodies to another target whose blood she has contacted. The second target can either be another enemy or herself. For the duration of the spell, once per post, an attack that hits one target will inflict an additional 75% of its total damage on the second target. This means that if she uses herself as a second target, she will take extra damage as well.

    This spell can only be used on PC targets with permission. Since Serilda has control over the connection, she chooses which attack each round is used to generate the damage. In order to make the connection, she must have come into contact with the targets’ blood in the thread the spell is being used in, not a prior thread. Piercing rules apply to each target that has an active shield. Targets are aware of this attack before it takes effect by the feeling of an intense pressure in the air around their bodies.

    Name: Kuroryu the Void Dragon

    Description: Once a king and a great warrior, Kuroryu was also once a host to the Seal of Conquest. It was during that time that he defeated Muko the Void Dragon, both their souls inexplicably fusing together to create one being that was both dragon and man. Ironically, this alteration of Kuroryu’s soul also cause Victoria to be severed from him where she was cast into her next host. With their souls separated, she was able to instead form a contract with him that would allow her to summon him to her aid when she desired. Kuroryu has a firey temper that he uses to fuel his strength in battle, and he believes himself superior to other humans due to being both a king and a dragon. He respects only one thing: power.

This attack deals DoT as a second effect due to the monstrous brutality of the attacks. He receives 5% HP regeneration for the duration of the spell. Targets caught in this attack suffer immobilization every other round and are drained of 5% of their HP once per post until the spell has ended.

    Void Dragon’s Roar:

    Description: Kuroryu lets out the mighty roar of a true dragon, unleashing the power of the Void on his enemies and leaving them vulnerable for him to maul. For the duration of the spell, his strength is increased by 122%. He receives 5% HP regeneration for the duration of the spell. Targets caught in this attack suffer 5% HP and MP drain once per post, and must spend an additional 50% MP to cast their spells for the duration.
