Alright! The doors to Heaven’s Dance Floor is finally open. It’s a pleasure to have all of you attending ST’s fun event to make it more pleasing~ Now This post is only the prelude. I may explain some important things here.

1. Alt rules doesn’t apply here. You can be in this thread with all of your alts as long as they are in a legal guild.
2. This is the main thread. It’s where you introduce yourselves and have the main RP.
3. You are free to make private threads inside the event hall of ST.
4. Sadly, this party won’t last forever. The most I’m willing to stretch it on is for a month.
5. To not rain on others fun, posting order doesn't matter....as long as you do not doublepost and has at least 3 posts in between your previous one.
6. No one without an invitation is welcome. Let’s say they are magical invitations that can’t even be copied. Thus, no neutrals, guildless or dark guilds are allowed in here.
7. Have fun x3

Brushing some dust off of his white suit, Ardere stood in the what appeared to be short line for entrance into the ball, so far he could tell everyone was dressed up and ready to go. His arm was wrapped around that of his lady love's; Sayrn. The two mages, being legal mages, were invited to attend this ball. With his sword wrapped in cloth to stay concealed and phoenix on his shoulder, he felt a bit nervous. Looking to the gorgeous woman standing next to him in line, he smiled a bit. Technically this would be their first date, so he kept his cool. Invitations, please. The man standing at the door prompted. Pulling out the invitation he received from Raven, the man nodded, allowing them entry. It was a nice night, cool with the stars shining bright in the black wondrous sky. Here we go. Stepping into the ball room, he would not enter the massive hall. Filled with legal mages, both guild masters and regular mages alike, he nodded. It was quite nice, though he had anticipated no less from Sabertooth. Being flashy was part of the reason he enjoyed this guild. Celica, take Clarent over to the bar and give it to the bar tender, then get use some drinks. The phoenix was going to make a sarcastic comment, but she decided not to, instead flying over to the bar as her partner instructed. He brought his sword Clarent, just in case things got ugly, as they tended to with Sabertooth being involved. He loved his guild, but they were a rowdy bunch. Chances were, if anything went down it would be at the bar.

It was not easy to get Sayrn to go to this ball, for she generally preferred to stay and do research, but he was glad that he did. People were already dancing, but it seemed that they had arrived just a bit earlier than most. He didn't recognize anyone just yet, but he was sure he would. Would you like to dance, or relax for a moment? He posed the question to his date, looking around the room. A table was set up with food, there was an open bar, and an elegant looking band seemed to be playing music. After a few moments, Celica would come back with two drinks. Thanks Celica. Taking a sip of the alcoholic beverage, he sighed happily. No problem, master. Sending a glare to his phoenix, knowing she was being sarcastic as usual. He always hated it when she acted like he treated her as a slave, but he knew it was just to get in his head. Go hang out with the other pets. His phoenix landed on his shoulder yet again. But I'm having so much fun with you. Sighing slightly, the fire mage gave in and let his phoenix stay perched on his shoulder. A bit annoyed by his phoenix, the Lamia Scale mage and Sabertooth mage had officially arrived to the ball, and settled in a bit.

Julius was on his way towards the ball. Don't be nervous Julius. Since julius is a foreign too this land he didn't know much people besides his guild mates. Julius was dressed in a Dark blue suit with a dark blue neck tie underneath the jacket of his suit he was wearing a white shirt. He Julius also wears dark blu shoes since pirate boots would be kind of weird at a ball. Julius felt a bit uncomfortable in a suit since he always wears his light blue pirate coat but since it was a ball it would have been kind of weird wearing a pirate coat. Julius hope he doesn't go overboard with the blue since his hair is already light blue.

As Julius arrived at the ball a man asked for is invitation Julius gave it to the man and he was allowed to go in. Inside Julius was getting even more nervous since he saw guild members from different legal guilds from all across Fiore. Come on Julius focus. First impressions are always important. Maybe you will make new friends or maybe you will even find a nice girl or a nice boy. Julius hopes to find a nice guy. Since Julius had a few relationships on his island but right now he wanted to try a relationship with a boy. Julius walked around a bit and tried to talk to a few people but most of them were already having a conversation Julius felt a bit left out so he decided to get something too eat. This is going to be harder then Julius thought.

Chapter 5:
Liberation of the Soul
Rock with Me

BGM:
Anastasia's Song

Cinderella Arrives on a Striped Guardian

Standing before a mirror once again, Anastasia could be seen looking back at her guardian, Sasha, for a moment.  A big smile was drawn across her face and stitched on there as if nothing could ruin her high at the moment.  Once again, she got to wear a beautiful white dress, repaired from the previous job she had in the capital.  Her eyes fixated upon her guardian and perked up a bit.  "Well, at least this time it is out of my own leisure and not a job, hm?  Oh my, I hope I meet Mr or Ms Right tonight," she said to the creature before humming to herself.    If she was hooked up to a machine, they'd be able to see her limbic system lighting up as her brain is drowning in dopamine.

"Don't worry, Sasha.  I don't think anyone can get as grabby as that boy did," Anastasia recollects with a shiver.  It was a miracle that she eventually got him to smile and return to how he used to be.  To think, mommy problems, right?

~ Of course, Anastasia. Do not fear those that throw around magic and only cling to power.  There is absolutely nothing to fear there.  Remember the Phoenix Mountains and Magnolia, Anastasia.   ~ the creature spoke as he looked Anastasia right in the eye through the reflection in the mirror.  Just recalling the events of Magnolia and Phoenix Mountains caused Anastasia to pause.  Her hands began to shake out of aggravation.

"Yes, don't remind me of Phoenix Mountain, alright?" she stated firmly before regaining her composure.  The creature stood up on all fours and approached the mirror for a moment.  It showed annoyance of it's own by displaying it's teeth in a subtle manner.  The creature still feels Anastasia was a mistake, not being entirely too compatible with Anastasia being chosen as his charge.  Sasha expected to be the guardian of someone strong and worthy of the family name -- but he was stuck with a wimpy girl like Anastasia that relied on him too much.

A little growl could be heard as the creature turns and walks away.  ~ As you wish.  I will be outside as you have commanded. ~ the creature said in a sarcastic tone before pawing it's way out of Anastasia's room in the Guild Hall.

Turning her head to watch the creature walk out, Anastasia frowns a bit.  "Oh, Sasha," she simply stated.  She doesn't understand why her guardian treats her the way he does.  It doesn't matter what Anastasia does, she can't control her overwhelming fears.  Her attention returned to the mirror where she re-adjusted the positioning of the white cat-ears; the Nyanplifiers.  She had to repair them due to the events of Magnolia, so she also gave it a temporary new skin, just for this ball.  Standing in front of the mirror after putting on the rest of her jewelry and accouterments, the last thing she saw was the Blue Pegasus Emblem upon her shoulder.

Her right hand moved up to trace the outline of the emblem before curling her fingers into the tattoo, as if to claw at it.  If she could tear away at it, she would.  Just seeing the emblem sickened her after the display at Phoenix Mountain and the fact that her, Axos, and Dante were forced to figure things out on their own without assistance.  She is torn in her thoughts on the Blue Pegasus.  They gave her very little to remain loyal to and have yet to earn even a shred of respect.

~ Let's get a move on, already. You're going to be late! ~

Releasing her grip upon her shoulder, she lets the tattoo go.  She didn't tear into her flesh hard enough to break through, but she did dig into her skin just hard enough to cause crescent-shaped impressions to be clearly visible.  Looking to the side where her headdress resided, she grabbed the magical invitation and walked her way out of the Guild Hall.

The woman's jaw dropped when she arrived, mounted on the large striped guardian's back, seated in the princess-style riding position where both of her legs hung off the same side of the mount.  As the two approached the building, Anastasia looked on in wonder and enchantment of the Sabertooth's Event Hall.  The design of the outside is magnificent and quite beautiful.  Several people gawked on at Anastasia and Sasha, but Anastasia didn't care nor did she event notice their awkward gazes.  She was too absorbed in the look of the building.  Anastasia isn't used to seeing large buildings, having come from a small town, so all of these large structures were a marvel to her.

"How long do you suppose it took to build this?" she asked audibly, only to receive a response through a telepathic connection.  ~ Who knows.  Could have been built hundreds of years ago, could have been finished a week ago.  It's really not that important ~  This caused Anastasia's lip to curl a bit.  Before arriving at the door, Sasha came to a full stop.  It was the end of the line.

~ End of the line, Anastasia.  I'll be here with Sir Hendrix if you need us. ~ the creature said to her before Anastasia jumped off, landing on her feet.  "Well, alright.  If you get too bored, Sasha, you can roam around.  Just stay within range, alright?" she said with a big smile to the creature before given a grumble in return.  The creature moved itself out of the road and found a nice and comfortable place to lay down on it's belly.  It had a guitar case upon one of it's sides, sitting there unseemingly.

Shaking her arms a bit, she lowers her hands down to her knees and lifted up her dress and ran into the event hall, handed off her magical invitation and made her way into the dance floor after she was announced.  The lights were dazzling!  Glimmers of the lights shined off of the various pieces of jewelry she had on her.  The floor was so shiny and the decor was just beautiful.  A big and bright smile could be seen upon her face.

Looking around, she noticed a couple with a man in white and she also noticed a man in dark blue.  Apparently she came just in time.  And now the awkwardness begins.  She had thrust herself into meeting new people.  It wasn't a job so she didn't have to 'act' the part, but now it's her actual self, requiring her to meet people for her self and not anyone else's.  It's strange that when this isn't a job, she has more troubles doing social things.  Oh, she hopes she meets someone she knows.

Post by Blues Coldsummer 14th August 2015, 6:23 pm

"Don't you think it's weird how we always end up at the food table?" came a high-pitched voice from atop the banquet table. Its owner? A mostly-black cat that stood on two feet and wore a bowtie around his neck. A young Mage of short stature stood next to it, dressed in a fitted black suit and tie with a white dress shirt underneath. The top button was undone on his shirt and the tie hung loosely around his collar. He'd stopped stuffing his face only long enough to ask, "Are you complaining about free food?" with a surprised look on his face. The cat vigorously shook his head and shouted, "No way!" before scooping up a particularly large fish in his paws. With an enthusiastic, "Itadakimasu!~" he began digging in much like his friend. An odd pair to find at a Ball right?

Well...apparently they weren't the only ones. Several guests began showing up, all dressed in their finest finery. Some guy even had a pet phoenix! If Simon showed up, he'd get a real kick out of that. Some were socializing...others dancing to the grand music that played. Some were even hoping to find a date! Blue and Lucky? Eating as much as they could, as fast as they could. It wasn't often they were served meals like this...and the duo learned long ago to take their food wherever they could find it. Still, they weren't above admiring the scenery. Blue turned around, leaning against the table with a large drumstick of chicken in his hand. "So this is Sabertooth..." he said, more thinking aloud than talking to anyone in particular. Lucky stared around too saying, "Everything's so fancy." between bites of tuna. Blue scoffed, giving a slight nod. It was quite impressive. Lavish decorations...a gigantic Guild Building. "Too fancy for my tastes." He retorted before tearing into his leg of chicken. His eyes darted back and forth around the Event Hall. "I'd take Fairy Tail over this place any day." Well...of course he would! It was his own Guild! On a more personal level, Blue never did care for fancy parties or anyone who flaunted their money and status. And while this Ball was surely just a harmless event meant to bring people together, it was hard for the lad to see past that through his jaded goggles.

He cleaned the bone and tossed it into a nearby trash can before smirking at his Exceed companion. "Still, this food isn't half bad." Lucky held up a paw in the shape of a thumbs-up as he continued to ravish the whole tuna. "Mhmm!~" Left to their own machinations, these two might just end up eating everything in here! Blue had since turned and began devouring a bowl of rice and various meats he'd heaped on top of it, so he didn't notice as his fellow Fairy Tail Mage approached. Lucky did though! And offered a wave and a garbled, "Joohliush!" through a mouthful of tuna. The shorter Mage turned, and greeted their friend. "Heya, Julish. You godda try thish steahk..."...also with a mouthful of food. Boy were these two a pair!

Serena gulped, there were way too many people here for her liking. Part of her wanted to immediately walk away and never come back, but then again, why should she bother? Her lack of presence would come greatly in effect here anyways. She relaxed her shoulders as she briskly walked towards the food table and picked up a few bites to eat. For now she supposed, she would bear with the overwhelming amount of people.

A low growl emanated from her shawl, a black lion cub peeping out from it. The cub purred a little as Serena absent-mindedly stroked its head and it leaped onto her head, curling up. It did not seem to faze her, not even a little, as if she was used to the cub's behaviourism. Instead, she merely picked it up and placed on the floor and it immediately became a large lion, seemingly guarding its master as it walked by the silverette's side. "Astrid, there's no harm here, you may relax," the girl muttered, almost inaudible but the lion seemed to have heard it and began walking a little less intimidatingly. The feline and human duo calmly walked towards the end of the hall, as if no one had sensed their presence, not even a soul.

"A ball? At Sabertooth Guild hall? YES!" Aiyana was way to excited about the invitation as she quickly scoured her room for some kind of dress to wear to the event. A legal guild ball to spread a message of 'peace and love,' something Aiyana was one hundred percent for at all times. ”Ah! There it is!” She had found it! The only dress she had before she had run away from her parents to become a mage! It was the only clothing that the bandaged mage had that wouldn't be considered slutty or inappropriate. When worn, the bright red dress went far enough down to almost cover her feet. Full sleeves that went to her wrists, wrists that would have white gloves covering them, that had frills at the ends of them. A pair of white ballroom shoes would go onto her feet to complete the outfit. For once, to anyone who knew her's surprise, the young woman was not bringing her favorite hat along with her. ”Memory, stay here and make sure no one comes into my room please. I don't want my hat to go missing!” The simple command was acknowledged with a nod from the shadow faerie before the woman put on her charm bracelet and heading out.

To everyone's surprise, again, Aiyana paid for travel to get there as quickly as she could, and to avoid getting her beautiful dress dirty. Upon arriving she slowly stepped out of the carriage before walking into the guild hall. There were already plenty of people there as she entered the beautiful room that the ball was to be held in. The dance floor was huge, and tables were setup in some areas for food and drink for anyone. 'And it's the guild Mao is in! Maybe I'll get to see her here!'

"A wanderer isn't always lost."
Perhaps the most difficult part was determining whether or not he should show up. Shortly after he had received his unexpected invitation, the Nephalem pondered for hours on end as to whether or not he should show up for such an event. A ball? For peace? Merely the sound of it didn't fit with not even his appearance. Someone of his nature and attitude surely wouldn't fit in such a place, yet he was still unsure about declining it. He stared at the invitation countless times, and had put as much thought as he could into it for many hours. Apparently he was the only Guildless mage invited...such an honor. Possibly because he had befriended Sabertooth's Guild Master. It had been a while since he had seen her, and the thought of it did bring him some form of comfort, as it had been quite a long time since the two of them had seen each other, and so much had changed since then.

At long last he had made his decision to go, but there was one problem: he had nothing to wear. A homeless person and a wanderer, having multiple outfits would only serve to burden him, so he kept a single outfit, washed daily, on him at all times. Once upon a time he had owned a suit, but that was quite long ago, and he had no track of where it had gone to. So now, he needed to prepare himself. Finding a suit that he was satisfied with was perhaps the most difficult part of it all, as the thought of himself in one wasn't particularly the most pleasant thought he could bring to his mind. However, eventually he decided on one and was off to the ball.

Before he had done so he decided to converse with his keepsake sword, which had turned itself into its small pet form. A small, and quite scrawny seven inch serpent shaped dragon with sharp claws--for its size--and black scales that covered up its whole body. Pure red eyes gazed upon the large Event Hall of Sabertooth as Deniel had arrived there, and alongside those eyes were the red ones of Deniel. Both him and his dragon shared the same shade of red eyes, but the only difference was Deniel's eyes could be considered "normal", with parts such as the pupil. For his pet dragon and weapon, Nidhogg, there was only redness. I'm just going to keep myself hidden, alright, partner? Giving a faint nod to it, the dragon then concealed itself, camouflaging its black scales with the jet black clothing Deniel wore. The suit was made up of a jet black vest opened up, revealing another black buttoned up shirt, with the last one at his neck opened up to give himself some breathing room. It had been neatly tucked in to very nice looking trousers, much more formal than the black jeans Deniel was accustomed to wearing, and quite uncomfortable for him because of that.

Handing his invitation, he entered the Event Hall of Sabertooth, more or less impressed about its grand design, but also thought of the fortune that must have been spent on it. Must be one rich girl... he found himself thinking before the scale of the entire place no longer concerned him. There were not as many people as he had anticipated, but then again he was one to arrive early, a huge mistake on his part. Because then he would have to wait...and wait. But for what? He hardly new anybody, and no longer carrying his title that he once held, perhaps no one would ever know him. So he restricted himself to standing alone, hands shoved deep into his pockets, with his eyes staring and scanning the room.

Kiersa sighed, smoothing out the dress that Raven had got for her the other day. The Guild Master had wanted to make a good impression on all the other guilds, and apparently it wouldn't do to have one of her Ace's looking "weird" in her view. So here she was, walking around the event hall, smiling and greeting the guests as they arrived, trying to do everything in her power to make sure things went smoothly.

With this many guilds in attendance, with all the rivalries and such floating around the place, all it would take is the wrong word in the wrong ear at the wrong time... and then she'd be looking at a massive repair bill, as well as social clean-up that would take forever to fix. She just hoped that nobody got drunk and went to the balconies of the Guild Hall... that would not go well if someone fell off the edge to the ground below that didn't know any flying magic.

With that thought in mind, the blonde nun motioned to one of the regular Sabertooth mages. "Have patrols, teams of two, at the balconies and edges of the building. We don't want any guests accidentally falling over the edge." she said, the mage nodding and setting about making it so. With that set in motion, the Paragon of Selflessness started to go over the checklist in her head to make sure that she hadn't missed anything.

raven,
let’s go back home
The Grand Ball N4PtQjZ
She halted in her path and sighed. With one foot placed down the first step and the other placed back, the Sabertooth guild master hesitated at the top of the stairs leading to their dance floor for a little before making her presence known. That night wasn’t just any ordinary night for the violet haired woman. Its planning stage began almost months ago and then organizing, funding, building and efforts were all made to wrap that night in one outstanding package fit for everyone’s tastes. The idea had struck her when she was going through a book. Being the romantic she was, Raven felt that she should bring everyone together and what could have been a better idea than a ball?

Of course, she was aware that not everyone would be fond of a formal gathering but she believed that there would be at least a few that would take advantage of this night to make some amends and build new bridges. Besides, it wasn’t easy for Raven to breathe life into the big structure of the dance floor. No, she had not spent a single penny on it. Instead, it was herself and her helpful aces and guild members that pitched in and helped with the painting, cleaning, setting and whatnots. But of course, they broke a few things here and there like usual and even got hit by Raven a few times, but in the end, they combined their efforts and gave wings to what others saw there that night. Whether it came off as rich or fancy, well, that was the fruit of their union.

Gripping the sides on her floor length dress, Raven sighed again. The nineteen year old girl in her was tremendously nervous about the whole occasion. Despite being a royal and despite being used to attention, she had never attended anything like it back in her world nor had she ever even thought about it until recently.

The dance floor looked welcoming, the room was well lit and anything that anyone would want was placed neatly around the big hall. They had a bar, and to the side, a table was completely dedicated to food. She made sure that there would be no shortage of anything and had got Kiersa to check everything again and again till they were both satisfied with the results.

And after taking a huge breath to fill her lungs with courage, the Guild Master of Sabertooth took slow, elegant yet powerful steps down to the last step. Most others could probably guess that she was of no ordinary upbringing. It was written down in each and every move she made. There were no unnecessary sway to her posture, no steps looked wasted and her head was held high without even a tiny bit of slouch on her shoulders. She gazed at everyone with a delicate but radiant smile. It warmed her gentle soul to know that the other legal guilds had accepted her invitation.

There were not many familiar faces but she did spot three people she already knew well; Ardere, Kiersa and Deniel. When she sent the wandering sword master an invitation, Raven had not expect him to show up but, nonetheless, was glad he did. Raven desired to make him their ally, to tell him he can consider Sabertooth as family when he needed one. And then there were several more people she was expecting -probably running late- she wanted to meet the guild masters of all legal guilds. It was the primary aim for the ball.

The wandering thoughts of the girl suddenly changed its course to her own image when Raven felt eyes land vividly on her lithe figure. Deciding her appearance for the not so usual ball was a difficult task. Being the hostess, she felt it was an obligation to discard her usual plain shirts and jeans for a better, graceful dress fit for a leady holding her position. The search finally came to conclusion when she found a simple yet beautiful dress that touched the floor. It would become a lie if she ever said it wasn’t uncomfortable. No matter how “at home” Raven seemed, she was still not used to the fancy dresses though loved it since her mind preferred conjuring up romantic images of the ball and of herself.

She applied little to no makeup, letting the natural redness of her cheeks to spread and rose to paint her lips. Hey eyes, however, were done to make it stand out. The sparkling violet orbs drew attention, even from far away. To complete the puzzle she saw in herself, Raven, for the first time in her life, allowed “things” to go through her hair.

As opposed to her usual style, the silky strands of her untamed hair, for the night, were softly curled to give it a wavy effect and like water, it flowed down her back, bouncing every time she took another step down the stairs. Her bangs were no longer hiding her forehead. Instead, they were pulled back to reveal her heart shaped face.

“Everyone,” she began, letting her crystal voice ring out and reach every being present. Prior to being a guild master, Raven did, after all, serve a few years as an idol and to that day, her voice had not lost even a tiny bit of its charm. “

Welcome to Sabertooth Grand Ball. I’m your humble hostess, Raven, Sabertooth’s Guild Master,” she stopped to bow at her audience. “Tonight, I hope to build new bridges between Fiore’s legal guilds. I’m more than happy to know that all of you have accepted my invitation. Please, don’t let me stop the fun. I hope we would have no complaints or ill feelings tonight.”

With that, she curtsied again and finally stepped down the last one. She smiled and greeted everyone she found, saw some beautiful girls in their youthful glow and men looking equally handsome. Raven was glad that the night was going well so far.

Julius was trying to eat his sadness away when he heard someone with a mouthful of found calling his name. He turned and saw Lucky greeting him with a mouth full of tuna the same was for Blue but he was stuffing himself full with steak. *snrk* Julius quickly putted his right hand before his mouth as he almost began laughing. H-H-Hi... Lucky... *snrk* hi B-B-Blue-kun *snrk* p-p-please excuse Julius. *giggle* Julius quickly walked towards the balcony so he can throw all of his laughter outside since 1. He didn't want to make Blue upset with his laughter 2. He didn't want to embarrass himself with his laugh.

At the balcony Julius began laughing. *snrk* hahahahahahahaha Oh my god those faces! hahahahahahahahaha oh there goes my funny bone hahahahahahahahahaha! Tears were rolling down Julius's face. After Julius was done laughing he regained his manners and went back too Blue and Lucky. So Blue-kun and Lucky are you guys enjoying yourselves? I must say Blue-kun you look really cute in that suit. It never struck too Julius that it may have sound weird to say that to a other guy even though he is bi he was kind of bit desperate but not that desperate to start flirting with every guy he talked with. But also since Blue wasn't interested in guys.

As Julius was talking some more with Blue and Lucky he heard a voice. It was the guild master Raven talking she looks really gorgeous. As master Raven was done with her speech Julius was applauding enthusiastically. With a big smile on his face. So she is giving this ball to strengthen the bonds with other legal guilds. That sounds so amazing! Julius can't get enough of Fiore! Julius thought too himself.

Zack meanwhile had decided that the front door just really wasn't his style. He'd instead decided on a more interesting entrance and had actually climbed up to the very top of the guild hall. If this was to be his first big social event since a certain event on Mt.Helicon had occured...well then he would make it a big entrance. Afterall, if any guild needed to mend bridges here it was Blue Pegasus and Sabertooth so he wanted to make sure that everyone knew Blue Pegaus was here to make ammends. He'd positioned himself at a top window just out of view and was waiting patiently until the runner of this little soiree turned up. He'd lounged quite comfortably there, probably an hour before the ball even started.

Eventually he hard commotion from below and turned to gaze through the window to see a rather attractive woman in a floor length dress giving a speech. He could just about hear it from where he was. As she had finished her little speech he decided to make his move. With a grin on his face he flipped over and  dropped down down from the window landing silently down in a crouch, on one knee, in front of her. As he did so he bent the light around him to form a perfect replica of the blue pegasus emblem in bright blue and the sabertooth emblem in a beautiful golden yellow. In a weird way it probably looked like some elaborate matriomony proposal, but there was a reason for that. This was a day to mend bonds and forge new ones. Unite the guilds in an alliance. It was in a way a proposal, just not of marriage. In order to prevent rumours of that spreading more then they might already of had he rose to his feet and extended a hand to the guildmaster of Sabertooth.

"Hey there Raven. Nice place you've got here." he looked around and then winked at her. " I'm Zack Rose, the new guild master of Blue Pegasus, may I have the first dance?" he said as the light faded away behind him. There was no note from his tone of voice that he'd done anything out of the ordinary. In fact, in truth, it was just his style. He wasn't really one for doors. Heck, he was barely one for floors.

He had forgone his usual ninja attire and instead wore a tuxedo, but rather than the traditional black he had instead worn a tux of a brilliant blue, the same colour traditionally associated with Blue Pegasus. At the centre of his bow tie, and on each of his cufflinks, was the emblem of the ten wizard saints. He had forgone his weapons. This was a time of peace and mending bonds. He knew there was bad blood between the guilds, even if what had happened was before his time. Today was the time to remove that bad blood and form a new bond.

This had been his plan ever since he received the invitation. He knew the bad blood was due to one member and he intended to confront Raven about this at some point. However, he would not raise a ruckus today. Today was a time for peace and enjoyment. Not arguments. Besides, he was always one to give second chances and he'd heard rumours from his contacts at the magic council offices that the person in question was redeeming themselves through deeds. He'd feel bad raising a ruckus and dredging up the past at this event.

He was skeptical at first about a Grand Ball being thrown for only the legals. It sounded too coincidental to him but at the same time if it wasn't something fake it would be needed in the world. There was something else that had bothered him more though. He actually had his own invitation to it and it was from Raven. He contemplated not going at all just from that but was somehow sucked into it by Lumina who had never been to a ball of any kind. He agreed to go but would not go inside of the room it was all taking place but instead would watch it from a distance like a spy.

He wouldn't be watching to sabotage anything but to make sure nothing happened against anyone there. He knew showing his face would be a bad idea in any sort of way at this event and wore a small mask and outfit to make it harder to recognize him. He planned to use his shape shifting weapon, Irritum to help hide himself more if needed and kept to the shadows.

He had found a spot near the top of the building where he could watch what was going on through some windows while still being hard to see in the darkness. He noticed a man had jumped down in front of a woman to which he recognized instantly. "Raven..."

He took his eyes off of the woman while pushing thoughts from the past away. He couldn't confront her. Not after just disappearing like that, even though it wasn't by choice. There was no way he could especially after failing Sabertooth in protecting someone. He instead looked around the area for where any of his new guild could be.

ICEEMPRESS

A nervous sigh escaped her parted lips. Purple orbs glanced around observing the place where she had been to many times, and yet she felt nervous. The petite figure craned her neck to the side and peeked at the smooth, reflective mirror. Her white dress extended to the middle of her thigh as the black embroidery was positioned in a manner where it extended over shoulder and onto her bare back. The black belt added affect to the beautiful dress.

Her pitch-black hair was done in a beautiful updo, letting loose strands of curled hair that framed her tiny heart shaped face. Her height seemed taller than usual courtesy of the high black heels, or as she liked to call them-- 'death traps', which strained her feet yet added beauty to her attire. In her hand she held a small, white clutch bag.

Her light make-up adorned her face making her pale skin seem flawless and added affect to her pink, plump lips. Her eyes were simply lined with a thin black pencil.

She took a deep breath before looking down at a particular fluffy creature. A grin formed onto her lips as she stared at Theo, as he sat there, His white fur, was as usual fluffy. His big grey eyes held so much excitement as he looked down at her. He too was wearing a bow tie. The female nervously bit her bottom lip, "You ready?"

An enthusiastic nod from him was all she needed to get her feet moving. Her steps stopped in front of the gate where she forwarded her invitation to be granted access to the grand ballroom. Her heels clicked in sync as the soft music hummed through the air. Her eyes darted around, spotting many people, whom she had not known but yet, the excitement lingered in the air. Everybody's conversation's came to a halt as a familiar figure stepped forth and spoke up.

A small smile placed itself on Riley's face as she clapped along with everyone else present in the room. Before she could look away from Raven, a man knelt forward, bringing a knowing smile onto her lips as she suppressed a giggle and moved away, and walked further into the hall.

The golden hall itself stood out from the rest. Seeing Sabertooth in this form was rather unusual. The rowdy crowd now seemed to be formal and elegant with their polite talk and graceful movements. The female still couldn't get over the fact that she was attending a ball inside the same guild which she considers home, a guild which resides up in the sky. This was going to be an eventful night, that she knew.

The Sabertooth Guild hall was a bustle from the moment he appeared. A white light would flicker twice on the landing pad of Sabertooth's Guild Hall. It would twist and form into Heero as he took a deep breath of the crisp air at this altitude.

The Hall in front of him was a bustle like new york city, even from the outside.

Heero stood in a perfect black suit; with a blue tie to match his hair. His signature white scarf? Still wrapped around his neck even in a 3 piece suit. It actually complemented his suit well. Immediately; people began to recognize him even on the landing area; as he walked forward one hand in his pocket. Scarf trailing behind him as he let one hand swing free.

"Boy I'm glad I left Garfield behind..." as Heero said this he passed by a group of fangirls sparkling; all with dresses hugging their figures as he would blush and do his best to stay focused. "I'm gonna get that first dance....."

He had heard that Sabertooth's Guildmaster was a girl. And a stunning one at that. Ready to see this beauty for himself (and adore it if possible); he made his way forward against all his better Heero instincts he ignored several women who probably would've left with him too a room that moment.

As he finally entered the doorways too the Ballroom he would inhale once before stepping in. Immediately he saw Blues across the room; his Guildmate and good little bro. Fellow Slayer, although now he used Ice-Make he heard. Smiling at him from across the room, Heero also saw Julius another of his Guildmates as he 'saluted' him from across the room of servants and folks.

A scream went off from behind Heero as he recoiled with a sweatdrop over his head.

"What it's Heero too?! Zack Rose is here as well!"
"Holy crap that's the guy who defeated Lichborne? Is it safe for him to be here?!"
"I hear he's good buddies with Shuhei oh my god, let's go talk to him!"

Before they could however, Heero had noticed a pretty Sabertooth wizard. She had on a white and black dress, and had sharp dark features.

Comically; he ignored the fangirls behind him and made to take a step towards Riley. However.....Raven hit the stage.

As Heero listened to her speech; he literally had "X_X" where his eyes would've been, and a piece of drool dropping from his mouth as to him, Raven sparkled as she gave her speech about the guilds coming together or something or another.

In his imagination; Raven looking curvy in her dress actually winked at Heero, causing him to sparkle fiercely and ball up a fist. When Raven came down to mingle; Heero adjusted his scarf at the top of his suit around his neck and walked up to her smirking with one hand in his pocket.

However-----that damn Zack Rose!!!

Heero broke through the crowd just in time to witness Zack...pulling a Heero on Raven! The Blue Pegasus symbol, the Sabertooth symbol, the sparkles, the Whole 9!

Gritting his teeth like only a Slayer could as an angry mark popped up above his head. Heero regained his composure and approached Raven from the other side.

"Guildmaster.....I'm stunned to even be in your presence." Heero would smirk at Zack from behind Raven until she turned around then his focus was on her. The crowd literally started to mumble around them as people began to recognize Heero, and Zack as well. A couple people looked on amused at the situation as Heero would clear his throat by raising a fist to his mouth for a second.

"Actually, you're a very pretty girl. If you don't mind, I'll take the first dance. I've never danced with a Guildmaster before and I'm a bit starstruck...I know it's a bit noisy and there must be a lot on your mind, but what do you say?" he smiled at her, extending a hand to her from the other side, putting her between he and Zack both with their hands outstretched.

The sheer amount of fear in her right now was beyond words she not only was going to end up at a ball cause she let herself get talked into it, but she also has to go in a highly crowded place in a dress and introduce herself to many many different guilds and their members all without sounding insulting and condescending and needless to say she was not quite ready as she hid her face below her hat a black fedora which she had decorated with beautiful white flowers and a green and white strap around it as her white dress went down to her thighs ending in green ruffles while she wore black long gloves and black stockings held up with a garter belt. Her green ruffles were shown off nicely with some white flowers she used as clips to keep her right side a bit lifted showing a bit of her thighs off.

Soon she was asked to show her invitation and she smiled softly and handed it to the guard nodding as she was locking arms with Ardere her grip growing stronger as they entered from her fear. “This will be fun, just have fun, fun, fun.” she whispered under her breath as she looked around at all the beauty of the people around her with a quick smile she heard Ard ask his phoenix Celica to go get them drinks and drop of his sword.

Once the bird returned she grabbed her drink and downed it knowing that she needed something to help her get over her fears, “Sorry Ard just a bit nervous. . . In a town I know it is easy but this is a bit overwhelming.” She was a little calmer knowing Ard was there. “So when do I get to meet the other brash people you call your guildmates?” she did not mean to sound a bit cold in the way she said it but as of right now she was in a sort of “fight or flight mood” and wanted to get out. “S-Sorry. . . It is best if I calm a bit.”

Ardere soon asked her about if she wanted to dance or calm a bit, “I-I would rather calm a bit!!!” She was afraid to tell him she had no clue how to dance at all in any way. But soon enough she looked around and listened to Ravens announcement calming her a bit with reassurance that this would be fine. “Okay Ard lets go meet your guild mates and then start up a dance shall we?”

”Dammit Kite why did you pick today of all days to take a nap. “ he shouted at himself as he hurriedly made his way towards the Sabertooth Guild, the lo location where the grand event was taking place. He has discarded his casual wear and adopted a new attire in the form of a tuxedo. He wore a white shirt with a silver neck tie with the end of it tucked silver colored vest. His jacket was black matching his shoes and pants, and even though he knew he looked nice when he is cleaned up he by no means liked it, clothes like this bothered the hell out of him but at that particular moment he was much more concerned about being any more late than he already was and not because of missing any activity at the ball but because of who was there waiting for him there, while continuing his hasty approach to the guild hall Kite's mind wandered back to when the ball was announced to take place and the events that happened after.

Kite thought back to when he was in the guild hall hearing this. At first he wasn't really all that interested in taking place but while that thought came across his mind while he was sitting at one of the many tables he rethought his current thoughts and decided that it might be a good idea to actually go and socialize with his guild members and recognizes that it would be a good opportunity to meet some new people from the many guilds that would also be in attendance, the only problem was he would want to find a date for the event but luckily he knew exactly who he wanted to ask. Kite has walked up to Riley and asked her if she would be willing to accompany him to the ball. The problem was that she was more than likely there already. Kite ran through the guild tavern and into the teleportation Lacrima that transported him from ground level up to the floating castle in the sky which was there guild hall. He entered them marvelous ball room just as Raven finished up her welcoming speech. ”wow quite the crowd, but first thing's first. Gotta find Riley “ he said as he began to wander the dance floor looking for his date. ”I think she said was wearing white“ he said to himself as he began to look around for her.

raven,
let’s go back home
The Grand Ball N4PtQjZ
So far, the Sabertooth Grand Ball was a success, putting Raven in a better mood that the nervous one she was going through before. Some were off at the table keeping all food and some were at the bar while most of them danced and brought partners with them. Everyone looked so stunning in their outfits too. She spotted Riley and was about to go greet her when her birds’ view ability picked something big falling from the roof right above her. Wait? What would ever drop down from the roof? A roof that’s so high to say no less. Was it a bird? A plane? A jet? What was it? She wondered but didn’t look up, just kept smiling at everyone on the floor.

Then this heavy object fell right in front of her and Raven almost recoiled from the brightness he brought with him. This man, in his suit, with his black hair and striking eyes, was kneeling down in front of her, Sabertooth and Blue Pegasus guild symbols pulling up behind him. If she had not seen his face, she probably would have questioned the sanity of this man. More importantly, she would have been very angry. But everyone was already whispering about it behind her. He was none other than Zack Rose, Blue Pegasus legend and now….wait…did he say new Blue Pegasus Guild Master? Raven was aware that BP and ST had a strained relationship and she wasn’t expecting to find many BP members in the ball either. But here he was, the new Guild Master, with the news of his new achievement. To say Raven was surprised would have been an understatement for she was staring at Zack as if he had turned into a girl right in front of her eyes.

By the time she snapped out of her reverie, there were more chatter going on around her. This time, the source of it all came rather quickly, pulling her attention back to the man. This one…she knew him..this was…Heero? Oh dear…was she in the middle of two legends? On a dance floor? Well, for one, Raven knew well that if it was some other girl in her shoes, they would have fainted already. However, Raven simply smiled at the both of them and bowed to show her gratitude. Calm, Raven! Stay calm! You can’t make any of your funny jokes here! Let’s try to get out of this predicament first.

“I’m pleased to see you two attending this humble gathering,” she started, looking from Zack to Heero and vice versa. “I’m also very pleased to have two gentlemen such as yourselves ask me for my first dance. However, I’m afraid I cannot dance with both of you at the same time…I cannot choose between the two of you either. So perhaps, we should come to a decision somehow? Maybe you two could figure it out among yourselves? I’m afraid I can’t decide between two handsome and powerful men myself?” she faked a sad expression and hung her head down for a moment.

With that said, she would send invisible SOS signals to Riley, almost telepathically to come and save her somehow. Why was she stuck in middle of two men she can’t possibly say no to? T ~ T Or well, if those two could come to a decision, she could dance with them too.

❊ BACK TO NEVERLAND ❊
Her heels clicked against the pavement as she neared the Sabertooth guild hall slipping towards it like a ghost. "Wow." She breathed out crimson eyes widening in amazement, it was so different compared to her own guild. "Ah sorry!" The mage muttered accidentally bumping into another party guest who had been invited to the grand ball. She was rather surprised that she had received an invitation to such an event but she supposed it was out of courtesy, she was after all one of the aces of Eclipse Soul. "Not that I'm particularly well known or anything..." Still, Venir was delighted to attend and if anything would have loved to strengthen relations between guilds especially with a powerful one like Sabertooth. However, there was one complaint...

Formal

It was awkward enough being in her elder form, her appearance was already something she was getting used to but the formal attire just made feel awkward. She wore all white, the dress a shade or two lighter than her own pale skin. The dress itself was simple in the front, a high collar framing her slender throat, only to dip down into a corset like bodice, the skirt of the dress was short in the front reaching only the middle of her thighs but the back fell into a long train of frills that brushed the floor with each step, and of course the relatively short woman had on a pair of pristine white heels to boost her height ever so slightly. Her cascading white locks were pinned up to the side with a crown like pin, the white curls reaching the middle of her back now. Luckily, no make up as applied save for a bit of lip gloss, eye make up tended to not like very nice with a slender scar going across one of your eyes, not to mention her ruby like gems often put most eye shadow to shame.

"Invitation."

She handed it over to the man collecting them, showing that she was indeed supposed to be there. Other than that the mage simple strolled in taking a moment to look at the sights and sounds the ball had to offer. "So lively!" A small smile couldn't help but grace her lips at all of the mages present, all of them peaceful and friendly with one another. Yet as she glanced around there wasn't a single familiar face within the ball itself, "I swore I sensed a familiar presence! Cirven perhaps?" Venir wasn't exactly familiar with the recent recruit but at least she wouldn't be alone. She hummed in thought but before she could go search after him Raven had made her appearance. "So pretty!" She thought inwardly, looking at the female guild master with awe. The speech was lovely and well spoken to say the least, enough so to have the Ace smiling the entire time, at least until a sudden figure appeared.

"Oh my...."

She felt embarrassed at the sudden spectacle, the new Blue Pegasus guildmaster and someone whom Venir did not recognize had approached Raven. Though, it was rather amusing so Venir stifled a laugh at the obvious predicament the female guildmaster had been put in. Turning her attention away from the potential disaster, Venir stood on the tips of her toes hoping to see into the crowd. There had to be someone there she knew, or perhaps it was time she began to socialize as well. "Let's see who I can find!" She picked the train of her dress up with both hands, revealing more of the creamy skin of her thighs, one of which showed the light pink mark of Eclipse Soul upon it. Like a ghost shifting through the hall Venir wandered around almost lost, who seemed nice? Who would cause no trouble? Who would not be afraid of her? Who would teach her how to dance?

Kiersa stood there dumbfounded as trouble seemed to rise up all by itself. First, the Blue Pegasus Guild Master had arrived, via the ceiling, with a light show that seemed to give off a marriage vibe, and asked Raven for a dance. Then, a Fairy Tail member came along from the crowd, and asked Raven for a dance as well! Both of these men were super powerful mages, and each of them was vying for the first dance with her... The blonde nun almost fainted when she heard Raven suggest that these two men sort out themselves who would dance with her first.

Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope! This was not happening!

If those two tried to sort it out themselves, the dance floor would become a battleground. It'd be like the ancient battle of Troy all over again! Two factions, Fairy Tail and Blue Pegasus at "war" with one another over who would get to dance with the Sabertooth Guild Master. Calmly, and yet quickly, she made her way over there towards the trio and gave a small curtsey, hoping to forestall any male ideas of showing their superiority. "Apolgies for intruding, but if I may make a suggestion? Perhaps these two gentlemen would care to show off their own singular dance moves, and let the gathered assembly decide who is better?" she offered.

Yes, she had basically suggested that Zack Rose and Heero engage in a dance-off competition in order to see who would get the first dance with Raven. She held up a finger before it could begin. "No magic of course. Got to somehow keep it fair and square." said Kiersa, hoping that the two men would go along with it... the only other alternative popping up into her head was that they'd start a riot...

Light music echoed through the guild hall; which happened to have been turned into a ballroom but coating the sound of music were the whispers of people, allof whom had their attention fixed on three very well known figures. A small muffled giggle escaped the female's lips as she caught on to Raven's uneasy-ness. She could tell that her very own guild master was in need of help, "Do you think we should help her, Theo?" She looked at him with a mischievous smile playing onto her lips. He looked at her with excitement filling her eyes. Knowing that raven would brutally harm her afterwards, she stepped forward, but stopped when Kiersa stepped in and saved Raven.

Wait? Not saved, Riley thought that she may have made matters worse. The black haired female could already sense the excitement lingering in the air. She bit her bottom lip to suppress laughter and walked over to their position, her clicking heels catching their attention. "Kierse, do you mean a dance off?" Talk about adding fuel to fire. "That wouldn't be such a bad idea." She turned her attention to the two infamous and powerful mages, "What do you think?" She asked with a knowing smile lingering on her pink lips. Theo jumped in excitement. This was going to be one heck of a ball.

Allison’s ventures had taken a decidedly serious tone recently, and the ordinarily cheerful mage had for this reason accepted a much simpler request; one that was likely more suited to a beginning mage, or someone who didn’t utilize magic at all. Nonetheless, she had enjoyed it immensely-- although all of her jobs generally felt the same, since she was the happy-go-lucky Allison after all, the experience had been relaxing and gratifying, both emotions that the red haired girl rarely ended up feeling. After waving a farewell one last time to the client, who owned an animal shelter and had requested for the mage to assist her that day, Allison returned her attention to the bustling streets around her. It was nearly time for her to return to the Eclipse Soul guild hall, or at least back home to her apartment in Magnolia Town; but any intentions to leave were quickly wiped away upon spotting a familiar face, framed by silver hair. Blinking in astonishment, the young mage raced after the figure, who turned around, apparently not realizing Allison was there: she seemed to be making her way in the opposite direction, in fact.

The girl lost who she assumed to be Venir in the crowd, but of course she refused to give up, gradually progressing towards the location she had last caught a glimpse of the other Eclipse Soul mage. Whatever she was doing here, Allison was absorbed in rediscovering the younger girl’s whereabouts. After a few minutes had passed, the redhead slipped away from the crowd, coming out in front of what seemed to be a lacrima teleporter. Shrugging to herself and smiling as usual, the girl was just about to take a step forward to touch it when a clawed paw snagged her jacket from behind. A short furred, ruby and pink cat was steadily staring at Allison, gold orbs boring into dark grey-blue eyes. As their eyes met, an array of messages flared from each to the other and vice versa through a mind link. Only several moments later, the female mage beamed brightly at her feline companion in thanks before taking the folded dress that was draped neatly over her shoulder blades, along with a stiff cream and gold card. Then cat and mage each brushed against the teleporter and disappeared.

A few minutes later, Allison had managed to find her way to where she assumed she was supposed to be; the Event Hall. Blinking with interest, the girl hid behind a nearby wide tree with boughs somewhat close to the ground, swiftly exchanging her pink shirt and silver leggings for a ball gown which slight resembled a raspberry swirled cake. Thankfully she had work shoes that went well enough with the outfit, and Allison emerged from behind the trunk of the tree within no time at all, inadvertently leaving her old clothes behind. She skipped up to the doors of the Event Hall-- although the girl knew that she had been invited to some sort of party (according to Lel Therine) it had been pushed to the bottom of her thoughts until today, when Lel had reminded her as Allison had attempted to follow Venir inside. Where was she exactly, anyways? Tilting her head to one side, the mage bounded through the doors, her feline companion and lifesaver handing the invitation to the guards; Allison had accidentally dropped it among her old clothes.

Once inside, she blinked and simply stared around for a while. There was nobody she knew... well, as far as the girl could see right now. Where had Venir gone, anyways? And really, where were they? Just at that moment, the same white hair as before caught Allison’s eye, and the mage immediately made a beeline towards the person. “Veniiiiir! Where are we?” She called out cheerfully as she darted through the middle of the crowd on a direct collision course with the other mage.

Post by Kihia 15th August 2015, 11:19 am

The Ikarones flew through the skies at the slowest speed that it possibly could, Kihia was in no rush to get to the place he was headed, and rather he would not have to be there at all. However he had been duty bound to attend this ball as it was a grand party for all Legal Guilds of Fiore, and as the Guild Master of Lamia Scale, he was being forced to attend by his oldest living friend Icirak. The Dancing hall came into view and Kihia let out one last final sigh and brought the Ship by one of the ledges and put into locked auto pilot, “Icer lock up the ship after I get off no one is allowed on board without me giving the word…” “Understood Sir Kihia,” Kihia then lowered the gangplank and disembarked his vessel.

He was wearing a nearly pure white outfit, a white dress shirt, with white slacks, and a white trenchcoat with blue trim on top of it all, he didn’t have any of his normal gear on him with the exception of his family necklace, mostly because he wasn’t allowed to, Icirak was adamant in repeatedly letting Kihia know this wasn’t going to be a battlefield of metal, rather a elegant affair something he would have to get used to. Kihia sighed and then walked into the hall where already a large amount of people were mingling, dancing, and having their own versions of a good time. A few people looked his way and recognized him by his slowly growing reputation of a Wizard Saint and a Guild Master, when they tried to approach him Kihia simply nodded their direction and walked deeper into the hall looking for a place to sit down. Kihia then looked to his left and saw three people with considerable magic power, two of them were fighting for one violet haired women’s right to the first dance. “Such lively people… I won’t ever understand them fully…” Suddenly a waiter came up to Kihia and asked him if he needed anything, “Somewhere to sit that’s secluded would be nice…” The waiter nodded, “Sir Kihia there is a table reserved for the Guild Masters on the balcony on the second floor,” Kihia simply nodded in thanks and started to walk towards the stairs in an attempt to avoid any immediate interaction..

"A wanderer isn't always lost."
Plenty more people had begun showing up, but still Deniel made no interest in moving from his spot. He kept his eyes scanning throughout the room, almost as if he had some kind of gut feeling that something were to go wrong or bad. Of course nothing would, and he saw no reason for it, but it was merely how his mind and body were trained. When Raven had given her brief, but also very powerful speech upon her entrance, he had to give the girl some commendations--very silent ones in his own mind--that she had done such a thing. The only other time she had seen and met her was during a job that the two had taken care of, back when he was once a Guild Master, and had not seen each other since. The dress she wore suit her well, and perhaps this entire situation wouldn't be so bad for him after all. At least when he needed to think about who exactly he should do something with....right now he was standing all alone with both of his hands shoved in his pockets, perhaps looking like some sort of creeper, as his eyes gazed around the room.

Once more he found himself staring at his friend Raven, who had suddenly been asked to dance by two males. One of him he recognized as his mentor, Zack, while the other...he had no idea who he was. But apparently from Raven's words, he was some sort of "Hero". It wasn't much in Deniel's interest to do anything about it, really, but he felt as though he should at least attempt to have some kind of fun tonight. It wasn't everyday he got the chance to dress up in a suit--even though that wasn't his desire--and be around so many people. Perhaps there was a reason Raven had invited him, maybe to become friends with the rest of her Guild rather than just her. It was their ball, it made perfect sense of Sabertooth members to be roaming about, but that would be for another time. For now, there was someone in need of his assistance. Not literally but...it was funny enough.

With Heero and Zack perhaps distracted by each other, and Raven telling the two that they would have to solve it between the two of them. He had no idea what exactly they would do, and didn't care much to find out. For the Guildless swordsman was about to pull off a daring and bold move. Sneaking his way around them, and right behind Raven, in a very sudden move Deniel sprinted for a few moments, and suddenly swept Raven right off of her feet into his arms, before sliding to a stop several feet away from Zack and Heero. "Long time no see, Raven!" He said suddenly, holding her in his arms still for a brief moment before placing her down, "How about you forget those two and dance with an old friend instead?" It was mostly a joke made by him, but he was half-serious about it. It wouldn't bother him if she said no, he just wanted to make his presence known in a much better way than simply standing around...and maybe it will be fun. Maybe.

Watching Sayrn down her drink, Ardere realized she was still quite nervous. He didn't imagine she went out in public too much, let alone with hundreds of other mages. Wrapping his arm around her waist, he looked her right in the eyes. It's fine, just focus on me. No one else is here but you, and me. Alright? The ball room was filling with people, legal mages and noticeably a couple guild masters. Even the fire mage did not know too many people here, but as long as he could keep Sayrn alright, he would have an opportunity to meet some. Balls were not necessarily his thing, but he would need allies in the future. However, making sure his lady love have a good time was the number one priority. It's alright okay? Let's just relax together for a bit. He knew she would be nervous, but he actually had been unsure how nervous until now. He didn't regret dragging her out here, every moment he got to spend with her was always a pleasure, but he was now realizing he overestimated his ability to help her be social. Looking back up to Raven, he felt a bit more at ease. His guild master was not just a good master, but a good friend. She had set up this thing after all, so he might as well enjoy himself.

Alright, let's see who we can find then. Looking around the ball room, he did not see a single person he recognized. Tapping his finger on his chin, the god slayer looked around a bit more. He noticed Keirsa around, but she was probably the least brash person around at the moment. Well, maybe everyone isn't here yet. Let's hit up the bar first, I also need another drink. Scarfing down the drink Celica brought him, he kept his arm wrapped around Sayrn as he guided her towards the bar. There were so many people, mages he had never seen before pouring into the hall. If he had been a more nervous person, it would have been intimidating. He could see how his date would be uncomfortable, but he would keep her safe. Making it over to the bar, he sat their glasses down. Two refills please. Looking to the green haired woman, he planted a soft kiss on her cheek and rubbed her arm to console her. It'll be alright.
