    Zack's armor:

    Corvus:

    Rank: Artifact
    Type: Armor
    Description: Corvus consists of all the clothing seen in this image.
    Spoiler:

    Strengths:

    • Provides access to two support abilities
    • Can resist A rank spells
    • Useful for hiding when its dark

    Weaknesses:

    • Does not cover the arms leaving those exposed
    • Due to being a cloth like material, even if it is very strong, it doesn't block concussive damage well
    • The shawl-like part of the armor can easily be gripped by an opponent or get caught on something
    • Can be pierced by artifact and artifact(+) weapons

    Abilities:

    • Starlight speed: The user who wears this armor gains a 35% passive speed and agility boost. This is both movement speed and physical speed. Any spells or passives that enhance speed are based off of this increased speed rather than his natural speed.
    • Light absorb: This absorbs the magical energy from light based spells restoring the user's MP by enough MP for the wearer to cast the spell e.g. a D rank would restore 0% whilst an S rank would restore 10%. This does not prevent the damage and it cannot absorb H rank magic. This can absorb two S rank's worth of light mage damage before it becomes too saturated and requires three posts to use again.
      In eclipse mode this absorb dark based spells instead of light.


    Retticulum:

    Rank: Strong
    Type: Glove
    Description: A black glove worn on the left hand. It appears non-descript and quite simple.
    Strengths:

    • Protects the user's hand.
    • Provides better grip on his sword
    • Resists C rank spells

    Weaknesses:

    • Only protects the hand
    • Is easily removable
    • Easily pierced by Strong(+) and above weapons
    • Has to have the hand opened to use exposition

    Abilities:

    • Exposition:  This is a passive ability of the armor. It allows the user, if they concentrate and aim the glove at a target, to see the magical strength of an opponent. So they could tell if they were a D rank mage or an S rank mage conclusively. Furthermore, they can see the rough type of the magic though it is not always obvious particularly with weaker mages due to their aura not being as defined. So for example, a weak fire mage might have a slight flame-like flicker surrounding their body, that could be hard to see, whilst a strong lightning mage would seem to have lightning constantly coursing over their body. Those who have access to more than one magic type are also harder to define as the aura is mixed and therefore less obvious. He can now also judge physical ability as well as magical so he could tell if someone is the type to rely more on speed or strength for example.

      However, this doesn't allow him to tell if a person is hiding their true strength. It also doesn't allow him to see someone if they have made themselves invisible

    A powerful sword that is kept sheathed at the waist on the back. Carved into it in such a way that its not visible are special runes. These glow brightly when one of the spells is active. The blade is about 4ft long and the handle is designed to be wielded with two hands.
    Strengths:

    • Excellent for close to mid ranged combat
    • Loop at the end of the handle can be used to spin the weapon round for blocking(necessary for one of the techniques)
    • Due to its large size it is useful to block attacks

    Weaknesses:

    • Due to its large size it is hard to use in extremely close combat
    • Due to its large size it has a large area a target could use to block it
    • Not suitable for precision strikes due to its large size
    • Harder to wield one hand due to its length and size

    Abilities:

    • Incredibly light to the user allowing for high speed movements despite its size. Feels normal weight to others.

    Heaven Returner:

    Rank: S
    Description: With this the user spins the sword rapidly in front of them at such a speed it becomes a blur. Due to the glowing runes this becomes a strange blur. This allows the user to return up to 1 S rank's worth of magic projectiles back towards the exact point that they came from. In terms of physical projectiles this returns them all in the direction they came from. However, reflected projectiles will only travel half the max range that they could of travelled.
    Strengths:

    • Can reflect magic attacks
    • Can reflect physical projectiles
    • Reflects towards the sender not only allowing to do damage, but also to identify where it came from exactly in some cases

    Weaknesses:

    • Only reflects 1 S rank of magic projectiles
    • Reflected projectiles only go half their normal max range
    • Only defends one direction of the user
    • Requires user to begin spinning the sword thus a fast enough attack could still get through before this is activated

    Durations/Cooldowns: Instant/Five posts

    Instant Light:

    Rank: S
    Description: The user travels at the speed of light towards three locations slashing once at each. This is useful not only for dodging, but also to hit several targets at high speed. The user can only travel 50ft in each blur of movement. Unfortunately, if he manages to get blocked in some way at any of the three points then the technique stops and he receives A rank damage. The damage he does to targets is determined by his own strength and speed.
    Strengths:

    • High speed movement
    • Hits multiple targets
    • Useful for dodging

    Weaknesses:

    • Can be blocked at any point stopping the technique
    • If it is blocked then he receives A rank damage.
    • Due to the way this works if he uses it on a single target her can only hit them twice
    • Limited range of movement

    Durations/Cooldowns Instant/5 posts

    Draco:

    Rank: Legendary
    Type: Sword
    Description: A sword forged from the fang of the golden dragon from beyond the skies of knowledge. It is a powerful sword said to embody the power of the sun itself. Despite the fact it was forged from a golden dragon and embodies the sun the sword is black in colour. It is about 3.5ft long in the blade with a handle designed to be wielded either one or two handed.

    Strengths:

    • Powerful cutting weapon
    • Can cut through strong(+) weapons and armours
    • Can cut through B rank barriers and below

    Weaknesses:

    • Heavy (though able to be wielded one handed by Zack and Devon)
    • Cannot cut through A rank barriers or higher
    • Cannot cut through legendary(+) armors and weapons
    • Due to its length not suited for extremely close combat

    Abilities:

    • The user is able to summon this sword at will by focusing on the thought of it.

    Solar Storm:

    Rank: A rank
    Description: This not only enhances its cutting ability, but adds a white aura of electricity  increasing the pain caused immensely. This ability due to possessing the power of a dragon is more effective against dragons than the average blade. Its power against dragons is one A rank greater.

    When this ability is activated  its sharpness by one B rank making it a much deadlier weapon. The electric power of this increases damage done by this by one B rank.
    Strengths:

    • Increases the cutting power of the blade by one B rank
    • Adds heat damage to the weapon equal to one B rank, adds an extra B rank to dragons
    • Can be conducted through water to shock an opponent at range

    Weaknesses:

    • Due to cauterizing wounds it is difficult for an opponent to die of blood loss from this attack
    • User will sweat a lot more whilst wielding this so will tire more quickly
    • Can accidentally shock people or even himself by touching water
    • Can be blocked by B rank earth barriers, or other A rank barriers

    Durations/Cooldowns: 5/7

    Solar Flare:

    Rank: A
    Description: This not only enhances its cutting ability, but adds a golden aura of heat to it so that any wounds causes are immediately cauterized and increasing the pain caused immensely as it is likely to leave fourth or even fifth degree burns. This ability due to possessing the power of a dragon is more effective against dragons than the average blade. Its power against dragons is one A rank greater.

    When this ability is activated  its sharpness by one B rank making it a much deadlier weapon. The flame power of this increases damage done by this by one B rank.
    Strengths:

    • Increases the cutting power of the blade by one B rank
    • Adds heat damage to the weapon equal to one B rank, adds an extra B rank to dragons
    • Leaves burns

    Weaknesses:

    • Due to cauterizing wounds it is difficult for an opponent to die of blood loss from this attack
    • User will sweat a lot more whilst wielding this so will tire more quickly
    • Can accidentally set things on fire
    • Can be blocked by B rank water barriers, or other A rank barriers

    Lepus:

    Rank: Strong(+)
    Type: Boots
    Description: The user wears a pair of special boots. By focusing slightly they can extend small blades from the tip allowing for an added boost to his kicks. These are about four inches long.
    Strengths:

    • Hidden so can catch people off guard
    • Adds piercing damage to his kicks
    • Gives an extra spell

    Weaknesses:

    • Tricky to use effectively except as a one hit surprise
    • Only comes out the front of the blade
    • Cannot pierce legendary or above armor
    • Could get stuck in something temporarily trapping him

    Abilities:
    Vacuum:

    Rank: B
    Description: The user swings a foot at a target launching off a blast of air that creates an invisible pathway. This invisible path way works as a trap that lasts three posts. Anyone who walks into this path during those three posts will receive C/number of paths damage as the 'emptiness' bites into them. This is a 3ft wide area that is 15ft long.

    The user is able to create three such paths, but all paths must be cast on the same post.
    Strengths:

    • Invisible to the naked eye until touched
    • Useful to trap opponents
    • Can slowly weaken opponents

    Weaknesses:

    • Can damage himself or allies if they forget/aren't aware of its location
    • Relativlely small area
    • Linear path so a person could go over or under it
    • Once someone touches a path it shimmers to become visible

    Durations/Cooldowns: 3 posts/5 posts
    Devon's weapon:

    Seven Virtues:

    Rank: Legendary(+)
    Type: Spear
    Description: This weapon is the signature weapon of Devon and is her usual method of attacking. It can be wielded by Zack for it is fuelled by wind magic however, if wielded by him it is only classified as a strong weapon because it only reveals its true power to its own. The spear is based on the legendary Ten Commandment's spear made famous by the legendary warrior Erza Knightwalker. However, unlike the Ten Commandment's this spear only has seven forms and thus it was named the Seven Virtues. Its base form is not one of the seven virtues.

    Strengths:

    • Good short to mid range weapon
    • Good for blocking
    • Piercing damage

    Weaknesses:

    • Heavy
    • Cumbersome to wield
    • Not as suitable for extremely close combat
    • Cannot block H rank spells

    Abilities:

    • Telekinesis: She shares a strong bond with the spear and can control it telekinetically.
    • Shrink: Can shrink it down to the size of a small stick. However, it can only go between this form and its full size. Its small form is near useless in combat

    Seven Virtues:

    Rank: A
    Description: This allows her to change the form of her spear to one of seven forms. She can normally only swap to one spear form per use of this spell. However, with at the cost of one post duration and one extra post of cooldown the form can be changed.

    Spear appearance

    Chastity:

    [/url]Chasity is a form based on restraint and as such has a non-offensive ability

    In this form the spear is able to launch blasts of compressed air to blow back projectiles or knockback opponents. It has no actual offensive power. These have a 20ft range.
    Temperance:

    Temperance literally tempers her speed thus whilst using this form her speed is enhanced by 30%.
    Charity:

    In this form the weapon changes to that of two Swords The gold sword adds fire damage to her attacks whilst the white sword adds ice damage. Combined they can do water damage of B rank. Seperately their effects are only a C rank boost.
    Diligence:


    Diligence provides the user with the strength to carry on and do more damage thus this form increases the strength of the user by 30%.

    Patience:

    It requires Patience to defeat the user of this technique as  this spear coats the user in a thin layer of magic defending them from 2 C rank's worth of damage. If this aura is broken it takes two posts to regen.
    Humility:

    Humility is the ultimate of the main seven abilities of the Seven Virtues.

    This provides no buffs or magical abilities. However, it is coated in a dense aura of magic increasing its piercing and slashing power by 1 A rank. This comes at a cost though. Entering this form will halve the duration of the Seven Virtues transformation spell. This halving is taken into account before the full transforming so if the user has used another form then the duration will be halved before the extra post of duration is taken away from it.
    Kindness:

    An ability not designed to damage, but to allow the user the chance to escape or to incapacitate without damaging. The spear blade changed into that of an ornate golden sun and the shaft becomes red in colour. Whilst in this form the weapon will generate blinding flashes of light every time it hits an object.
    Strengths:

    • Multiple forms for versatility
    • Some forms provide buffs, some provide other abilities
    • Can surprise opponents

    Weaknesses:

    • Cannot use more than one form per duration without giving up a post of duration and increasing cooldown by one
    • Due to changing forms can only provide one buff/ability at a time.
    • Cannot be used whilst eight virtue is in use or on cooldown
    • Long cooldown

    Duration/Cooldown: Eight posts/Ten posts

    Eighth Virtue:

    Rank: A
    Description: A golden version of this Scythe forged from the scales and fangs of the The Golden Dragon of the Skies Beyond Knowledge which she helped Zack and Zenshin slay. This is the ultimate form of her spear.

    In this form she gains a 30% boost in speed and power as well as an A rank aura of golden flame providing impressive burning damage the attacks. Strangely though after the attack 'burns' an opponent for A rank damage it then freezes the area solid. This is likely due to the fact that parts of the ice wyrms were used to help forge the weapon. However, most would think the power of the golden dragon would overwhelm the ice, but instead it seems to enhance the ice as it has a slight golden sheen and the ice is A rank in resilience. Strange, but the dragon was said to be of Skies Beyond Knowledge.

    Unfortunately, possibly due to its raw power or some other reasoning this can only be used whilst the Seven Virtues is on cooldown.

    • Powerful buffs to speed and strength
    • Powerful fire damage
    • Potential to freeze limb struck for 3 posts

    Weaknesses:

    • Can only be used when seven virtues is on cooldown
    • Can only be used once per thread
    • Uses two A ranks worth of MP
    • Once on cooldown the user must wait a further five posts before being able to use the seven virtues abilities again.
      Durations/Cooldowns: 5 posts/10 posts


    Magic Items
    Zack's Magic Items:

    Orion's Belt:

    Rank: Legendary(+)
    Type: Bracelet
    Description: A simple iron bracelet worn on the right wrist. It is non-descript and doesn't appear magical in anyway shape or form. It requires some effort to be removed, so is unlikely to come off accidentally.

    Strengths:

    • Provides slight protection to the arm
    • Looks non-descript so unlikely to be targeted
    • Provides two passive abilities

    Weaknesses:

    • Is worn on the wrist so could accidently be damaged
    • 3 B rank hits is enough to damage it halving its effect, a further two B ranks will break it
    • Could be removed relatively easily and worn by an opponent
    • Adds slight weight to the arm slowing its movement

    Abilities:

    • Provides an increase to magic regen of 3% every five posts (so rather than 10% Zack will instead heal 13%)
    • Spell fusion reduction: Whilst wearing this item spell fusions only cost the same as the spell they combine to make e.g. an A and an A combined make an S but rather than costing two A + 1S it would only cost 1S. This only works for spells that combine to make a proper rank e.g. a C + D together would not get this boost
