It seemed that Zack's entrance had not been quite flashy enough which was quite surprising. Heero had come up and too asked for a dance with Raven, but it seemed that she couldn't decide between the two of them. Raven told them that they could decide between them who would get the first dance and that caused Zack to pause and step to the side so that he could confront Heero face to face. "Hey bud. I know you got your heart set on dancing with a guild master and normally i'd be all for letting you take it, but I was here first after all. So how about you have the second dance?" This was how he decided to begin negotiations, but it seemed that two people had come over with a different suggestion. Zack had not wanted a contest. He had wanted it to be fair, but it seemed that the idea now was for the two of them to have a dance off.

"Well I suppose that is one way for him to dance with a guild master." he said with a shrug and a slight chuckle at his own joke. "I'm all for that if you are Heero. Should be fun and a good warm up for when I dance with Raven." This was perhaps a bit of a bragging tone for Zack and in truth his confidence was not as high as his bravado made it seem. He wasn't exactly experienced in dancing. In close combat he could probably take on any single mage here, but in dancing? Well, that was perhaps an area that Heero might have the edge in. A small green orb suddenly flew out of his pocket and grew rapidly to form a fairy-winged figure. This was Devon, but rather than her traditional armor she was instead wearing a simple red chinese dress with gold trim. It was quite short in that it was above the knees and also quite tight fitting. What's more due to the way the front was designed it showed quite a lot of breast with out actually exposing.

"Hey Zack you promised you would dance with me." she said as she took off Zack's suit jacket so that he could move a bit more freely. Zack blushed slightly and grinned.

"Don't worry Devon I will, but you know how important tonight is." he replied. She looked in a bit of a huff, but nodded and headed off taking the jacket with her.

As this was happening though another familiar face showed up, Decayuss. A man he had helped train in the past. He had suddenly swept Raven off her feet and skidded to a halt a few feet away mentioning being an old friend. That was quite surprising, but it seemed that the dance off might not need to happen if she gave an old friend the first dance. Unless she said no to him and the dance became a three way.

Blink. Blink. "Whash wrong wib Juliush?" asked Lucky, still gnawing on the fish. Blue closed his mouth and used every muscle in his neck to swallow a gigantic mouthful of food before exhaling a sigh of relief. "Dunno...maybe he has a cold?" He was pretty far off...but it was a good guess nonetheless. About a minute later their Water Mage friend returned, making conversation with the duo. "Yep! This food is great!~" the Exceed responded when their Guildmate asked if they were enjoying themselves. How could you not enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet? A sudden compliment was sent Blue's way via Julius, which caused the boy to turn to slowly look at the taller Mage. And after a few moments of silence? "Thanks, man." he responded with a smile. Even if Julius was hitting on him, the vertically-challenged young man had virtually no experience in that area so he wouldn't be able to tell anyway.

Some more people showed up, most of em in flashy manners. One guy even fell from the ceiling? If they weren't surrounded on all sides by fancily-dressed people and grandiose architecture, this place could almost be mistaken for home! Lucky had finished off the tuna by now and was currently nibbling on the bones as he observed the goings-on at the party. His eyes widened as he noticed a familiar blue-haired man enter the Ball. "It's Heero!" shouted Lucky, prompting an exasperated, "Hm..?" from the lad (complete with a slightly irritated expression). They hadn't seen the Slayer in quite some time...not since Blue froze his head in a block of ice anyway. At least they had another Guildie here now. And even though Blue would never admit it, part of him was kinda glad to see the Slayer. His Exceed rather liked Heero, and watched intently as events unfolded. "I think they want him to dance." Blue scoffed before piling more rice into his empty bowl. "Maybe if I'm lucky he'll fall and break a leg. That'll bring him down to my size..."

    ...

"You just called yourself short." Lucky witnessed firsthand his partner go through the 5 stages of grief (barring acceptance) before his usual rage finally kicked in. "I AM NOT SHORT, DAMNIT!" came an armor-piercing shout as the young Mage's head grew several times its normal size. His Exceed just stood there, his fur getting ruffled slightly from the sheer force of Blue's yelling. "I didn't call you short..." But it was no use. Blue might've been at some fancy Ball, but that didn't stop his usual hair-trigger temper. Few things did.

    "A ball...?"

These were the words that rung out from the lips of Zemina as she read the invitation. It was a ball in the Sabertooth event hall, one that the swordswoman didn't really get familiar with yet. She had only recently joined the guild, and she hadn't taken the time to even learn many of the Guild Members' names, or spend any time with them. Despite this thought Zemina was about to just toss the invitation away and decline, but took a second to really think about what she would be missing out on. The people there, the food, the chance to meet new people, and best of all, the music.

    Oh, the music.

Zemina went through the closet of clothes she had, which frankly wasn't much. Most of it was casual wear, which she decided against wearing due to this being a formal event. So... Zemina did the thing she rarely ever was caught doing:

    Shopping.

Zemina went shopping, many dresses catching her eye, but only one was the special dress that was bought. It was a slim, glittery dress that seemed fit for a princess to wear, and it was perfect except for one detail. It was purple, and Zemina didn't really like that color. Red was her theme color, and she never really parted from that, so this was something new.

All of these memories of the close past rang out through Zemina's mind as she began entering the place, showing the invitation quickly. She didn't wear any of the jewelry that she normally had on, she didn't even have her hair in a ponytail. The black locks flowed down her back, stopping at the small of Zemina's back. Paired with the violet dress was the two hairpieces that Zemina never parted with, the pieces of gold with actual purple fire coming off of it. The fire stood out, and it was astonishing to most that her hair didn't catch fire. Lastly were her shoes, black shoes which were sparkly, just like her dress. It almost seemed like the young woman was a disco ball, the way the light shimmered and refracted off herself. Zemina stepped in, obviously later than most as there were people of various origins in the terms of guilds already here, but she didn't mind, after all she was the one that recieved an invitation.

Zemina's first thought was about the music. It was grand, and all she wanted to do was close her eyes and lay down on a bed and listen to this as she fell asleep, that was her first thought. Her second thought was about what to do, and she decided that she would stay away from the group of people surrounding a few, because she didn't want to get involved in the affairs of others. So she went to the food table, where there was two other mages there, and a cat. One just finished yelling about how he wasn't short. Deciding to not spend the entirety of this ball doing nothing, she grabbed a cup of water and spoke up. "I apologize for intruding, but you are a tad short." she says rather plain, not really meaning harm of trying to set off the mage. She was just speaking her mind, and was entirely serious with it.

    Tap, tap.

The cacophony of heels grazing, quite impatiently, against the marble floor of the hall arose quite a commotion as a sigh wafted along, elicited from the rosiness of a pair of lips. The genesis of this, rather, anxious display of tapping attracted a few eyes; irritable at first, albeit, soon transformed into one of fascination as the gazes scrutinized the source of the clamor.

There, stood, a young lady. Locks of golden lay elegantly sprawled across her back and shoulders, as they weaved in a wavy manner, resembling the stunning arrays of the waters of the sea. Coupled with that, lay a headband; intricate patterns of an array of luminesce stars as the locks in front, partitioned slightly; the overall look of her hair, graciously pleasing to the eye. Descending forth, cerulean hues glistered within the luminous radiance of the lights that descended below; illuminating the entire vicinity, concurring an opulent ambience upon which, the sapphire hues soared across; an incandescent glint, vivid, within her turquoise optics.

Upon her lithe frame, lay an attire; its specter a monotonous shade of black and white however, the silver that intricated it coupled, with the net of black as a skirt added an allure to the so called, dress; falling a little above the ivory of her knees as the dress fabricated an aura of enticement from the light-blonde haired female. Corresponding the opaqueness of the skirt were the heels she adorned upon her feet; they were mere sandals decorated in yet again, black and silver. Establishing a finale to the look were the silver painted bracelet upon her right hand and hoop earrings upon her ears. Suffice to say, her typical adolescent appearance had been transformed into a façade of enchanting allure tilted upon that of an elegant young lady. However, the warmth in her heart yet, remained transfixed upon her naïve and effervescent behavior.

But, something was off. The usual animatedly enthusiastic countenance upon her visage was now, disguised by slight uneasiness displayed by the consistent tapping of her heels, the twiddling of her fingers and the grazing of her teeth upon her lower lip. Time that the she would have utilized to marvel at the ostentatiously lavish room with its coruscating display of bright lights, polished marble floors, heavenly assortment of edible elements, glamorously dressed people of all ages and origins and the like. However, Zoe’s attention was upon none of that. In fact, it remained captivated within the thoughts of one mere person; Jayce Iscariot. A mere ring of his name through her mind rapidly, elevated her heart beat; it clearly, signified that the blonde female held immense feelings of adoration for the man as her eyes lightly clouded over, engrossed within his thoughts.

Upon hearing of the ball, a thrilled Zoe had taken the initiative to invite the man who had stolen her heart, so he could accompany her to the ball. Alas, it was no easy feat for hours of convincing and adorable puppy dog eyes was what finally, had fed the man up and made him agree to arrive at the ball. However, the slight trepidation of him not showing up was still a chance and that was what Zoe feared. Hence, the reason for her paucity of vitality during this boisterous occasion as she waited for him to appear; impatience spewn across her face. I hope he comes soon. Until he arrived, however, she glided her sapphire hues across the massive vicinity; a light smile encompassing her rosy lips at the lively ambience and at the antics of the people situated within the hall as a chuckle emanated from her lips at the sight of the guild master of Sabertooth herself, Raven flocked with note-worthy men engaging in a battle for the first dance. Truly, an outlet for amusement. “Poor Raven.”

It would indeed, be an enjoyable evening. However, for Zoe, that would not come to pass until Jayce had made his presence known. Albeit, the light-blonde could interact with the crowd and drown herself within the jocular atmosphere; however, the hollowness of his presence would still entrap her rendering her to not have the best time she could. So, she stood, eagerly awaiting his presence whilst witnessing the onslaught of hysterics that accompanied the lot present in the hall.

Well, this ‘ought to be a fun ball.

Post by Akryn 15th August 2015, 1:11 pm

As the commotion between the three powerful men and the guild master went on, another blue Pegasus member would make an entrance, with a small bit of entourage. Akryn had designed, and made, special outfits for most of the guild members for tonight, fully intending to show off his guild as the best dressed guild around, and not only the most powerful. The clicking of hard soled black boots preceded Akryns entrance into the ball room, and he cut a fine image, in polished black boots, with black trousers that seemed to shimmer in the light tucked into the boots. A black silk sash with red trim acted as his belt, holding a matching sword. He wore a white shirt today, with gold on the cuffs and collar, with a black doublet over that with the blue Pegasus emblem emblazoned over the heart in gold as well. To finish the ensemble he wore apair of black leather gloves and a large, wide brimmed hat, with a gold band around it, a large white feather tucked into the band, and one side curled in. A black cape, hanging down to his though, sat on his left shoulder from the joint area of his shoulder, all the way back around to near his spine. With his eye patch in place over his left eye, a tail of white hair from the back, and a small tuft of white hair on his chin, Akryn looked quite handsome tonight.

But as sharp as he looked, he paled in comparison to his partner on his arm, Akeya, the half dragon of blue Pegasus. With midnight blue scales shimmering in the light, wings edged in the same sapphirous tones, and a tail to match, Akeya would have been hard to miss. But Akryn had designed for her this night a lovely, backless gown of a silvery, shimmering material, that looped down from around her neck to flare out and hide her breasts, before narrowing drastically at her abdomen to show off the sides of her well toned belly, and the scales there as well. The hips were emphasized by a silver chain that sat loosely upon them, decorated with small, brilliantly shining sapphires and emeralds, before the gown split into four long pieces, one covering the front, back, and either side of her hips and legs, preserving a modicum of modesty whilst still allowing for free movemtn. Finishing off this ensemble were a set of silver anklets and bracelets, each adorned with sapphires and diamonds, and beautiful chain of slver, adorned with more gems, most noticeably a small sapphire which hung down to her forhead.

The pair would likely turn many heads as they entered, Akryn leading Akeya towards the dance floor. It appeared his new guild master, and friend, Zack, was already in trouble. Likely chasing the ladies, as Shuhei used to do. It seemed to be a blue Pegasus guild master tradition, or requirement. Either way, Akryn had an idea for ending the trouble. "Which ever of you lot dances, do so quickly. I did not come with the loveliest lady I could find to sit idly. Choose or I will steal the floor."

Post by Kite Wilhelm 15th August 2015, 1:30 pm

Kite looked around but he didn’t spot Riley with his first scan through the crowd and let out a sigh disappointed that he was not only late but he couldn’t find his date for the night. There were a bunch of people in the guild hall, people who weren’t normally there which meant that he had no idea who half of these people were. Kite let out a small hum sound and turned his vision in the direction where Raven was when she was making her announcement and welcomed everyone to the guild hall and thanked them for coming. ”I guess my best bet at this point is to go where Raven is. Good chance I will know at least one person over there “ he said making a firm decision. Kite cut across the dance floor maneuvering between person after person doing his best not to bump into anyone by accident. After he had made his approach he noticed Raven, looking spectacularly beautiful the dress she picked for the occasion. However before he could actually speak to her in order to say so his attention was redirected to the scene that was playing out in front of him. There were two men, men he had not met before extending their hand out to Raven gesturing a request to dance with her. Kite immediately looked puzzled by the whole thing and that is when he finally sees Riley standing there all dolled up in a White dress with black design embroidered on the front of her dress and extending up past her shoulder, her hair was done up and pretty looking.

Kite approached Riley with a smile on his face ”Finally found you! “ he said to her hoping that she wasn’t totally mad at him. Kite then looked back at scene he saw earlier ”So what did I miss? “ he asked her curious to what the scene was but it was pretty obvious that these two wanted the honor of having Raven’s first dance, however before anything else could happen a plot twist popped up as a blonde haired girl, one who he remembered seeing in the guildhall a few times came up and brought an interesting proposal to the two men, that was the two gentleman should have an old school dance off and let the audience pick the winder therefore earning the right to dance with Raven. ”Ha that sounds like a fun time “ he said curious to see if they would agree to the idea but before it could play out someone came out of no where and literally swept Raven off her feet and completely stole the first dance from the two suiters. ”Well, that will set the bar high for most interesting thing of the night “. Kite turned to Riley with an apologetic expression on his face ”I’m sorry that i am late, I sorta fell asleep. “ he reached behind his back and pulled out a small bouquet of icey blue flowers and held it out for her, ”You do look absolutely gorgeous Riley “ he said with a smile on his face hoping she would accept the flowers and his apology.

    NOTES

Groaning in bed, throwing his pillow around, trying to put off the idea of getting up and getting ready for some silly ball, his girlfriend of a few weeks had invited the man to. Social events like this, were things of stress and awkwardness for the man, as he was never brought up near them or in them or even told of them. They also interfered with his goals, nothing there would help him chase down his brothers. But the worst possible case, would be someone recognizing his last name and tying it to the three criminal brothers of his. If anyone at that ball, knew of the coming storm, with the last name of Iscariot or the dark guild master, with that same last name, then for him, it would require a lot of explaining, much more than Jayce would ever want to give.

Though, he couldn't just not go, after giving a promise to Zoe, so the man pushed himself up his bed, ran under a shower quickly and started frantically searching through his belongings for some suitable attire for a ball. The idea of social interaction, still made him shudder, but maybe it wouldn't be so bad, with her there. With a sigh, the man pulled a white tuxedo out of his closet, something, that visibly hadn't been worn ages, but still looked quite nice, so within a few minutes, it was on the man. Taking a couple of seconds to overlook his hair and everything, Jayce ran out of his apartment and took off towards the ball ground, only a few hours before the start.

He would obviously be late, which is what happened. From afar, he could see the lights of the ball, lights of which he much rather hadn't seen. The man would have wanted to spend this night searching for more clues or training, but no, had to go to a ball. Another sigh came from him, as he reached the main entrance, looking around a little, before his eyes landed on the person he came to the ball for, Zoe Schiffer. The man was left speechless for a minute, before he walked up to the woman, his hand behind his head, visibly embarrassed about being so late to the event, but at least he showed up, so that was something.

''Hello miss.'' He blurted out randomly, as he reached the girl and stood in front of him. ''Your reluctant date has arrived, to an event he wishes to not partake of, but for you, he will.''

Post by Julius Seas 15th August 2015, 1:33 pm

As Lucky answered Julius's question about the food Julius began to smile. There was a short silence after Julius's compliment about Blue's suit and Blue eventually thanked him. Sorry if Julius made you a bit uncomfortable. Julius kind of says things without thinking when Julius is nervous. Well since Julius said that Julius thinks he should tell. *cough* Julius is... Bi. Julius had a few relationships with girls on the island but Julius also has strong feelings for males sometimes. But this doesn't means Julius is going to flirt or hit on you Blue-kun. Julius said with a smile.

Julius was looking into the crowd when suddenly a person fell from the ceiling right next to master Raven. The person was surrounded with lights that represents the Sabertooth and Blue Pegasus logos. The person revealed that he was Zack Rose the new guild master of Blue Pegasus. He asked on a very romantic way to make the first dance with master Raven. This resulted to Julius having  the same scenario in his head with someone else. Julius cheeks began to take a shade of red with didn't fit with his clothes. Julius shook his head Come on Julius! Stay focused! This isn't the time to think about romantic things! Your main goal is to make new friends here!

As Julius regained his awareness he heard girls screaming in the back saying that Heero had arrived. Julius had heard about Heero. He was a very strong mage from Fairy Tail and he was quite  popular among the women. As Heero walked past by he gave a salute to Julius without knowing what to do back Julius gave back a smile. Blue on the other hand wasn't very happy with the presence of Heero he even went that far by saying that he hoped that Heero broke a leg. Has something happened between you and him Blue-kun? Before Julius knew it Blue began shouting through the event hall that he isn't short. And out of nowhere a girl came by saying that Blue is short Um excuse Julius but your only putting oil on the fire.

Heero interrupted master Zack by saying that he wanted to dance with her. Which resulted in that master Raven declined both their offers until they sorted things out. A blond girl quickly went towards the 2 mages saying that they needed to sort things out with a dance off. But before they knew it a man appeared picking up master Raven and staying that he wanted to dance with her. And again a same scenario appeared in Julius's head with a other person doing it to him which also let Julius's face turn red again.

“Miss, I don’t mean to intrude but could you please stop the tapping?” A voice called out to her hindered with a tone of apparent irritation as the male’s eyebrow lightly twitched, annoyance in every perk of it. A sheepish grin lined the woman’s rosy lips; her hand, instinctively placing itself upon the back of her finely done golden locks; a mutter in tow of her actions. “Haha, sorry about that.” Jittery; her mien wrapped itself around that word; the slight apprehension visible although, desperately encased within a façade of mirth. The orbs of cerulean yet, again conducted a gaze upon the sumptuous event hall of the guild of Sabertooth as her feet, although rather, reluctantly, ceased in their constant shift; now, being firmly fixated upon the marble turf. Within the scrutiny of the exquisitely, stunning hall however, her orbs transfixed themselves upon, a rather peculiar scene taking place exactly within the middle of the lavishly, opulent hall. A scene that had previously, been the provenance of the slight amusement taken place within her amid the constant premonition.

The Guild Master of Sabertooth, Raven, yet again flocked around by an array of people; each conducting themselves within a different manner in relevance to appearance and behavior as the handsome men engaged in an argument for her first dance; the guild members of Sabertooth encompassing levity upon their visage at the hilarity of the sitaution. And the sudden lift of the young woman by a stranger was enough to course a series of chuckles from the light-blonde. The night was indeed, turning out to be quite splendid for the young Guild Master and the light-blonde haired female was elated for not only her, but the other members of her guild as well. For her dear dark-haired friend, possessing the name of Riley, had a date of her own; another member of the guild; one Zoe had not had the pleasure of encountering. I have to keep in mind to meet him later. A discreet note within the confines of her mind, for the young lady wished to devote her time here, to not only frolicking in mirth but to also, encounter new arrays of beginnings. Meetings with guild mates were indeed, an imperative aspect of that.

However, her chain of thoughts abruptly halted as a voice, deep in its nature; an enchanting fluctuation of a male’s voice arose the young blonde’s lips until it mirrored a grin; a Cheshire Cat grin, to be exact with the rosiness of her lips lightly parted. She abruptly, turned around as a familiar shade of auburn met the girl’s sapphire hues; orbs which, slowly, yet surely, glided upon the man she had been desperately, waiting for. The white tuxedo Jayce had draped himself in was not a color the light-blonde expected, for, she predicted him to dress in dark; albeit, the pure shade of white, despite, contradicting the dark of his locks; suited him rather, nicely.

“Jayce!” Ecstatic, his name left her lips laden with ounces of jubilancy; depicting to any and every how delighted Zoe was to see him here as she shot forth; arms outstretched, engulfing the man in a rather, tight hold of what would be called a hug. Due to the difference in their height, Zoe’s lithe frame had to still, stand upon her tiptoes in spite of, the heels she adorned upon her feet. “I’m so happy you came! For a second, I thought you wouldn’t come and I became so worried. But I’m delighted that you’re here! Just you see, we’re going to have so much fun here. We’re going to talk, meet new people, eat, dance and just everything. God, this is so exciting!” Crystalline elation coursed through her every word as the light blonde initiated her little speech; her merriment perhaps, equal to that of the entire population within the hall. But she couldn’t deny it; Zoe was incredibly thrilled to have him here with her.

Xierak followed Akryn and Akeya into the Dancing hall he was wearing a gold band around his head, sporting four rubies, small and spaced out around the head! From there we move down, leaving the face and neck mostly bare. On his chest is a large, red breast plate of leather, held in place by thin yet strong golden chains over the shoulders and around, under the hips, all connect in the back to a golden ring! A gold band adorns each bicep, with another further down just above the elbow. The two are connected by golden chains that spiral tightly around the bicep. The waist is a simple red sash with gold trim, with red cloth hanging in four separate peices, down the front, either side, and down the back, split halfway down the back for the tail. Around these four peices is another strip of red cloth designed to protect modesty. The blue Pegasus emblem is emblazoned in white on both the leather chest piece and the cloth hanging in the front, to say he was uncomfortable would be an understatement… Akryn made and fashioned this outfit for him and then forced him to put it on, however aside from the outfit he was nervous from the fact his head was completely exposed, revealing his triangular head for all to see. He then watched as Akryn and Akeya started to head off to the dance floor leaving the nine foot five behemoth of a mage standing by himself with onlookers all around, “Hmpf” Xierak then turned to his left and slowly walked through the crowd to a unclaimed table close to the wall, he looked down at the chairs and a growl escaped his throat, Everything in here is meant to accommodate humans… Xierak then sat down with a large thud on the floor, his height alone still allowing him to seem like he was sitting at the table normally… hoping no one would come and bother him.

Ziska notices that Venir is dressed up all fancy and handing over some where. Then it hit her, she had just gotten and invitation to a ball that the Sabertooth Guild Master had invited her to. "If Venir going there might be a chance to fight something." Ziska darts to her house to get dressed, she got dressed fast so that she could follow Venir to the Sabertooth Guild cause she didn't know much of where it was an didn't want to get lost. She heads for the door, then she remember she will need the invitation so she quickly grabs it then darts out her door while grabbing her katana and locking the door be hide her self. Darts off to try and catch up with Venir but once she got close to see Venir she slows down and quietly followed her from a distance.

Ziska wore a gray dress on with little string straps over her shoulders. When the light hits the dress just right it looks almost black. Red frills wrapped around  the bottom of the dress giving it a more peculiar color scheme. The dress hung down to the middle of her thighs and right under the bottom of the dress she wore black stockings that ran from the middle of each of her thighs to the bottom of her feet. She is also wearing short black heels. Under her dress she had a dagger tied to her waist just in case if any situations would arise. It was loosely tied so that it would sway with the dress without being noticed easily.

Once they had both got there Ziska was shocked at how beautiful it looked and waited in the shadows for Venir to go in first. Then she slowly walked up and handed her invitation to the Sabertooth guild members that had been waiting for people to come an looking to make sure they all had invitations. One of the members motion for Ziska to hand her katana over and she did as a sign of faith to them. Ziska slowly wondered into the guild grounds but didn't go into the guild hall. She was slow and sneaky about going walking up to the guild hall and looks through one of the big windows and just watches everyone dancing and having fun at the ball.

It had been on hell of a trip to come over from Era, but in seeing the person hosting the very occasion presented, there as no way she could resist the chance. Granted she could still feel the spot where she had been hit from the last time they had met it must be a little more wide ranged in whom got an invite than she had come to expect. Even so it was a little harder to come up with an idea of what she would do as far as attire, but that had come to be something she would get to later on. There was the long trip out to the guild hall to deal with first, and in doing so, the Knight had left for the town the night before to make traveling and all other purposes much much easier. Especially having to make the trip out into the desert, the idea of getting dressed up then traveling would.. most likely not have seemed very presentable for one, if even the ONLY Rune Knight attending the event.

Attending seemed to be probably among the best thing for her to do. After reading up a little bit on some documents of the layout of Sabertooth, she had to at least know what she was looking for.. and after just reading "guild in the sky" she hadn't really needed to read much more than that. Then again, it wasn't really that hard to find anyway. Sasha had come around to a few small buildings dressed rather elegantly compared to what she normally wore on a normal basis. This time however she wore a red Cheongsam dress decorated with a floral pattern in an almost faded yellow color to it the design. Thigh high leggings stretched over mid way up her legs and a pair of matching colored heels were a little more comfortable than normal, but all in all it was pretty nice to change up her attire once in a while. Lastly, Sasha's hair had been left completely down and draped down her back without any form of an accessory or anything and letting it cover the back of her dress, which was only her bare back down to under her shoulder blades which then would begin the dress from the back.

As she had come to look around, there were a few people-- rather attractive looking people entering a tavern of sorts. At least there would be a good place to start. She took her time walking over to it when she had been stopped by someone and asked about her reasoning, until the mark on her forearm of the Rune Knights had scooted them aside. She skipped on in and found herself at some kind of device, which upon touching it had sent her up inside the guild hall. She stumbled out, a little dazed at first from being teleported. That had been quite a new experience for the white haired Knight and one that rumbled around her sense of balance for a few seconds. After getting herself back together, she noticed a straight path into the hall and followed that along, gazing longingly at the look at the amazing appearance of the ball room.

She turned her head down to the attending people and almost instantly spotted Raven. She smiled and started walking over, tunneling down to the woman. She wanted to take her time so that she couldn't hurt herself while she ran. As she continued along, she had felt her foot being pulled back some and falling with a little bit of a high pitched yelp and falling onto the floor. "Ow..." She looked looked over towards where she had fallen forward from and seen a familiar blonde haired girl standing up by her. "Z-Zoe?" She asked, standing up and brushing off as much of any dirt as she had gotten on her. "Hey there! How ya been kiddo!?" She instantly hugged onto Zoe and giggled happily before noticing the man next to her and giving him a look over. "Oooh~ Who's the cutie ya got here? Ya got a boyfriend, Zo-Zo?" She laughed jokingly at it, waiting to see if either or both of them would feel embarrassed or shy at all by the comment, teasing them both a little, though.. oh man did he look cute.

    BGM:
    Anastasia's Song

    The Life of the Party

[OOC:  Holy smokes, you guys post fast.  I guess Posting order isn't that important >.>]

More people began to flow into the dance hall, causing Anastasia to slowly move towards the outside corner of the dance hall so she wouldn't get trampled during her awe-stricken moments.  Sighing outwardly, she turned and looked towards the people pouring into the ball.  Most of the people she didn't recognize, except for Zack and Allison.  Opening her mouth to say something to even one of them, she was interrupted by an elevated voice from a beautiful, lavender-haired woman.  Anastasia's jaw dropped a little bit as she turned her eyes to the one named Raven.  The woman's skin, the woman's hair, and the woman's dress all shouted 'BEAUTY' at the heart of the world.

As Raven spoke, Anastasia's heart began to beat rapidly.  The woman's voice was something that Anastasia adored.  Being a songstress, a crystal-clear voice is something she sought out.  A dreamy look crossed Ana's face as the woman addressed the crowd.  She didn't care about the content of the speech, that wasn't important, it was the voice she heard that interested her.  Perhaps she could ask this woman to help and teach her how to sing in a more silky, melodious manner.  All of this came to an end once Raven began being flocked on by multiple guys.  Rolling her eyes, she scoffed in disgust at how men flocked to the beautiful and powerful.  What made it worse was that one of the men that flocked around her was the one that claimed to be their Guild Master.  Men are men, after all.

As Anastasia stood there and watched the people for a moment, trying to decide who she wanted to approach and speak to, she noticed a group walk in.  A little groan came out of Anastasia' throat as she watched the combined grouping of Akryn, Akeya, and Xierak.  The Rhino she didn't have any problems with, the half-dragon freak didn't bother Anastasia with other than how absolutely freaky she was, and Akryn...  Just reflecting on the entire ordeal at the Phoenix Mountains was enough to make Anastasia's blood boil.
    Freaks...

~ Settle down, Anastasia.  Your heart-rate is elevating and I can read your surface thoughts.  You're supposed to be having fun.  Just ignore those three and have a good time. ~ spoke her guardian creature left outside.

A sigh came from Anastasia's lips before responding to the guardian outside named Sasha.   ~ Yes, you're right, Sasha.  I shouldn't worry about such trivial things.  Thanks. ~ she responded telepathically to Sasha.  A groan came from the creature in response before silencing itself.  Smiling confidently to herself, she was grateful that she had a guardian like Sasha with her.  Turning her eyes towards the food table, noticing a woman standing by herself.  Tilting her head, Anastasia lifts up the long sweeping dress to prevent it from dragging across the floor.  Walking towards the food table, she turned to look towards Serena and smiled to her.

"This place seems very nice doesn't it?"  she asked with a big smile upon her face.  While it is simple small-talk, it was a step forward from her usually nervous behavior around new people.  Anastasia's Blue Pegasus tattoo was clearly visible upon her left arm.  Yay!  Go Team!

From his temper one might assume Blue was a Fire Mage. The opposite was true actually...and he wasn't always like this. But whenever the subject of his height (or lack of) was mentioned, things got real heated, real fast. Blue was holding his Exceed companion out in front of him, angrily pinching his cheeks as he glared at him. "Who's short now?" Blue grumbled to himself, a prominent vein in his forehead bulging as he did so. The duo managed to stop bickering long enough for Julius to explain himself. Blue just blinked in confusion, once again creating a moment of silence between them. "I'm not uncomfortable." he said, the sincerity in his voice obvious. Lucky held up a paw in the shape of a peace sign and added, "Yeaaah!~ Liike whoeber you wahnt, Juliush!" When it came to issues like this, Blue and Lucky weren't judgmental in the slightest. Blue was a self-absorbed Ice-Make Mage with a hypersensitivity towards his own height. Lucky...was a walking/talking cat. Who the hell were they to judge?!

And JUST when Blue had all but forgotten about the "short" thing...some red-eyed lady had to waltz up and stir the pot. The vein from earlier returned with a vengeance, almost looking like it was about to pop out of his head. He clenched a fist and took a step towards Zemina, his head puffing up once again. "AND JUST WHO THE HELL'RE YOU?!" Julius warned the lady but by now it was far too late. Blue was busy trembling with comic rage as Lucky turned and smiled at Zemina. "Sorry about Blue...he gets mad when people are bigger than him." A fist smashed down on the table, a, "SHE'S NOT EVEN THAT MUCH TALLER THAN ME!" audible in the background as the Exceed continued his conversation. "I'm Lucky! What's your name?" It seemed like Blue almost growled as he turned around and folded his arms. Julius asked him if there was any bad blood between him and Heero. It was...just about the opposite. Blue actually had a begrudging respect for the older Slayer. They just bickered all the time like most Fairy Tail Mages do. It was harmless! Lucky had the answer the Water Mage was seeking, and chimed in once again, this time choosing to whisper it to Julius (and Zemina if she chose to listen) instead of blurting it out for everyone to hear. "Blue just doesn't like anyone that's taller than him."

    ...

"Blue doesn't like a lot of people." The vertically challenged Mage folded his arms and continued to pout as he looked out over the dance floor. 5'2" wasn't THAT short...was it?

The small harpy standing at no higher than three foot six was prepping a dress in her room within the Sabertooth guild hall having spent hours on trying to get the damn thing on she finally got the dress onto herself her short blue hair all preened and looking good. "Ah! reaaaaady!" She had been waiting for this since she got the invitation from the guild master miss Raven. Once leaving her room she began to realize a certain thing that others would have by now, she was late. With a panic and a flap of her wings she took off from the area flying to the entrance of the event hall as a guard looked at her with a stern face and asked for her invitation as she "handed" it to him, "There ya goooooooo!~" she laughed and walked into the ball filled with mages of all types.

Some of the first things she saw was dancing something that was foreign to her due to the structure of her legs and feet and the other being a person making a slight scene with him having blue hair. She decided to check it out lifting off from the ground and flying through the hall to the area eyes following her slightly as she landed beside the tall yet small man, "Why are you making a scene mister blue hair?" She was visibly smaller than the man standing at most 3' 6" and at least when she decided to slouch 3' 4 "Is it due to the fact you are shorter than most people?" She did not seem to understand his dilemma seeming to make it worse as she giggled, "Being short is not so bad mister blue hair!"

She seemed to have no concept of the idea of "Tact" as she kept on asking the man what he was making the scene about with a continuous repeat of the word "Short"

Zemina was yelled at. Why? She couldn't tell. The boy was clearly short, and she was just about regular size when it came to females of her age, maybe more maybe less. "Actually you are much shorter than me, you look like your probably over six inches shorter than me. Most likely more, but somewhere around there." suddenly the cat spoke, asking her name. "My name is Zemina Darvan. Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

It was then that she realized this... ZEMINA DIDNT HAVE HER SWORD. She never goes anywhere without this sword, anywhere. The blade must have been with her armor, which was at her room. Zemina sighed, and decided today was a day without it. Oh well.

Now there was another member that appeared, someone that looked like she came out of mythology. "Yeah that's obviously his problem. He's mad that he's short, end of story. He apparently doesn't realize that he'll grow in the future." Zemina said with a *tchk* sound, signifying her annoyance with how aggressive Blue was being without really thinking.

Serena paused for a while, barely even looking over her shoulder as she heard the speech from the Sabertooth's guild master and once it had finished, she continued walking again. She let out an inward scoff at the idea of peace between the guilds. If this ball was able to fulfill its purpose, she would be surprised. For now, she supposed, she might as well take this time to take in the different personalities originating from different guilds. After all, all the legal ones were gathered here, including the guild masters and the strongest wizards. This would be an interesting event, at least, she hoped so.

With brisk movements, she made her way to the drinks and casually served herself a cup of juice, wine and the likes of it was not in her favour, more so, that she was in a large hall and not within guild members. After looking around for a bit, it had appeared there were a couple of men asking the Sabertooth guild leader to a dance, at least she presumed she was, after all, the elegance and authority she held around her figure merely spoke so, that she was the authority in this hall here.

    ► Alyia Nystrom
    Words
    @Angel of Luck

The Angel looked around she didn't seem to fit in much, everyone was so much taller than the short guild master, blocking her view many times causing for her to look around the tall only for them to move and be in her way. With a huff Alyia stopped her forwards walking and crossed her arms over her chest a small pout spreading across the 18 year olds face. She was done with being shorter than these people, after all she was only here upon the request of Cirven to make sure that his partner was safe in this mass of people. Otherwise the blonde would have been at home looking out her window over the mountains and the guild that she now ran with a careful and forgiving hand. But no, here she was in a light pink dress that reached down to her ankles with a slit up the dress that reached up to her hip where it finally stopped and lead to the gathered waist that emphasized her small waist and larger than average chest, the top tied around the back of her neck in a bow allowing the strings to hang down her back.

In her small pause in her search she couldn't help but over hear that there was a second floor that was for the Guild Masters. A sigh of relieve slipped from the blonde's lips and with a new found vigor slipped and weaved through the crowd like that of a dancer though never actually learning how to dance. Light on her toes she ducked and spun out of the way of arms that wound reach back for refreshments to the stair case but as she passed the food table she spun to look at a person who was complaining about their height and she paused for a minute looking at them. "You're still taller than me." 5'2" was still taller than the blonde but suddenly a thought hit her. Heels. Why hadn't she worn them? Urrrggggggg. With a mental groan Alyia moved back into the crowd towards the stair case where she swiftly glided up the stairs and swiftly past what she recognized to be the Guild Master for Sabertooth and another man who claimed to be the Guild Master for Blue Pegasus and asfor the other two one she had no idea who he was and the other she looked away and sighed. Deniel. Her trainer and old Guild Master who had left leaving her in charge. She wanted to hate him for leaving the guild. She wanted to hate him for a lot of reasons but being an angel she just could not find it within her.

Finally reaching secluded place on the second floor the angel propped her arms up on the ledge and looked out across the ball. She like many other people had been amazed at the space and the decorations of the ball, but now as she looked down at all the people below her all she wanted to do was hide back on her own guild. Where cool air brushed past her ears in the cool mountain nights instead of the humid heat that now surrounded her and the other bodies on the ballroom floor. Continuing to look down she smiled as she spotted the energetic people of her guild in the crowd and the figure of Cirven out of the hall. Only noticing him because of the pull of her guild mark to him. With a sigh Alyia slouched and rested her head on the palm of her propped up hand. Tonight was going to be long.

Post by Hiyori Fujioka 15th August 2015, 8:28 pm

"A ball!?" Hiyori shouted. "Oh my, I'm certain that there will be people there... But i can't just deny the invitation, that would be rude. WHAT TO DO!?" Hiyori then began to write the word "person" in kanji on her hand and motioned to eat it, as that had been a way for her to cope with stress. Her eyes were wide, and sweat marks could be seen on her forehead. She had never been one that was able to interact with people easily. She always got a bad case of anxiety when people would approach her and nearly have a panic attack. She had gotten a little better with it, but it was clear that it was still a problem she struggled with often.

"I-I guess I'll go... BUT WHAT IF SOMEONE TRIES TO SPEAK TO ME!?" She said frantically. "I can't handle that..." She started to do her stress coping method much quicker now. "Balance... Balance is key! Balance is the way to go!" She said moving her hands at an alarmingly fast rate. In the middle of her exercise, Libra appeared before her. "You must calm down." Libra said calmly. "ACalm down!? CALM DOWN!? That's not possible!" Hiyori said, pretending to faint. For her, socializing was something that was WAY Easier said than done. It's like trying to conquer your biggest fear... Like being a child forced into a pit of lions and forced to defeat them all in order to live. It was that difficult.

Libra somehow managed to talk some sense into Hiyori. Hiyori slowly got herself ready. She drug her feet as she entered her bathroom. "Why me?" She said, weeping. "Why do I always get forced to go to these things?" She wasn't downing the fact that the ball may be fun, but instead she was downing the fact that she wold be an awkward mess. Not only she not like socializing, but she didn't even have a dress! She had a little money left over from a favor she did for a family. She hadn't really done any jobs, as she wasn't the best with physical confrontation, in fact, she wasn't good with any confrontation. She didn't necessarily hate it when people reached out to her, in fact, she liked to know that she was approachable, but she knew nothing about socializing with people, so that guaranteed a tough time.

After she had taken a shower, she went out to buy a dress. Her dress was a moderately long pink dress with roses on it. She also wore stockings and black heels. She didnt have much money, so she had to work with what she had. As she arrived at the ball, she looked around, seeing one of the most beautiful sights she had ever seen in life. The interior was so nice, so decorated, so elegant. She had never been in a place as nice as that one.

Arriving a little bit late to the ball, it was nice to see that Elyx cared. Ignite was not with him, she hated going to formal attendings, so she just stayed home and took the night to sleep as usual. Her loss, a ball was like a party in a way, but one that just had less volume and less movement. Elyx could live life that way, but as fast as his feet can bring him, he was going to have to keep moving. Just for this once though, he was willing to bring the pace down. Being a neutral mage, he would expect some heads to turn towards him, a few whispers in the air, and his head being hung down as he placed his right hand in his pocket. It was only legal guilds allowed, little did almost everyone in the ball know that Elyx had an invitation of his own by the very one that set up the ball in the first place. A little slip would be in his right pocket, his index finger and his middle finger locking themselves onto the invitation just in case someone would try to tell him to get out. And if one were to claim that he stole it, he had Raven to count on in order to get here. After all, compared to Kai, Elyx looked like less of a problem than the other mage, who was in a legal guild. Sabertooth if he remembered correctly, yet the experience in escorting Elyx was certainly... Special... Regardless, he was hear now. The boy didn't want to create too much of a scene, his tuxedo was a nice color of black. This mixed with the night was able to help him blend in, but the bright lights in the ball and the golden decor made things a living hell for the Violinist once he entered. Many... People...

The one thing about Elyx that many have noticed is that he tends to get a little awkward around many people that he didn't know. Towns are an exception, he was not supposed to be talking to strangers without a reason, but these people were all in the same group as the Violinist. A small sigh would escape his lips before putting his hand on the door, only to remember that Kai wanted to join with the boy as well to make sure that nobody tried to do anything stupid to Elyx. That was what he remembered Kai saying, but that didn't quite mean he had to follow on his word. The Violinist had hoped that Kai was a man of his word, otherwise, Elyx would have to hide the Guild mark that he bared on his left collar bone. For the first time, he was actually ashamed of it, and now he was ashamed of himself for being ashamed of the mark that he was supposed to represent as an Ace. Maybe there was hope for people that he liked inside to be there for him, and others... Well... If he avoided some of the Kai...Ish, people that were out to get him, then maybe he would be fine. After giving it more thought, the boy let another breath into his system before sighing again, then gently opened the door to enter the scene. His light brown eyes hid behind his eyelids, his body was shaking, he was swimming with the sharks now.

It might not be so bad though, what if his Violin was able to get him out of this problem? Did they know that Elyx was a Rising Star? Or maybe was one of the people who helped take down that Lyell guy back in Talonia... No... The invitation was pretty clear on only legal mages being allowed. Anyone who brought peace really, and Elyx has not yet proven himself peaceful. He had a nice way of being peaceful though, simply isolating himself away from the crowd until he got to Kai, then stay with the man like a stalker through the party so that he would not end up getting called out.

The man walked up to the Violinist, the one that look like a parallel mirror. It was nice to have his own innocent, somewhat lame, but respectable mirror. If only he were a little more extreme, there was much that one could do with Wind magic. Not as much as Kai's Dream Magic, but at least wind was not so commanding, like copy magic would be, when you are forced to be smarter than your opponent using their spells in which you have no experience with. Kai walked towards the Violinist with his usual neutral face, which was much better than what he gave to most people. You made it to the ball man. Where's your girl? Don't tell me that you are alone here. Kai said as he then nudged the Violinist to the side a little, just a playful nudge, nothing too encouraging for a fight. From what the usually hooded man could see, Elyx was actually scared for some odd reason. It was a ball, he wanted to go right? Then again, now that Kai thought about it, Elyx was a neutral guild member. Not to mention one of the worlds biggest babies, he looked so weak while being alone in fear. Kai made sure to do it with style, just simply give off a look that said "I don't give a damn", then put his hands in his tuxedo pockets. As he did that, as the starch made contact, Kai shuttered at how he ended up being forced to wear this. The Dream Mage couldn't even bring himself to put his facial expression neutral, remembering the incident of being forced to get the damn tuxedo on. Raven... That's complete bull. I should name her Vulture. Kai thought to himself before looking forward towards the scene.

Bro, you're being scared for nothing. You got me, remember? Kai said as he tried to distract himself from the thoughts of pain and yelling that he went through, only to lose the bout and be forced to wear this stupid looking thing. Still though, he felt that he could have added his own style to it, so he decided to wear it loosely, almost carelessly done. If people were able to tell the difference, that's good for them. The Dream mage could care less. Regardless, it did seem unfair for Elyx to be an outcast when he seemed like a lame yet outgoing person. The amount of people, all he had to do was pick one yet he wanted to hide. Kai was simply there for support now, such a shame.

Lumina had spent quite a bit of time trying clothing, but nothing was as comfortable as the jacket she wore most of the time. So instead of dressing up she just went in a jacket. she managed to get lost more than once, even ending up in another city. Thankfully someone put her on the train back to the city she needed to be in. she arrived almost two hours late, wishing she had gone with Cirven. She had after all talked him into going the first place, but she had insisted on going on her own. She wandered through the door and looked around, to much show and pomp for her tastes. She wandered about a bit bumping into people dancing and getting more than a few dirty looks. it was only a matter of time before someone go on her case about her clothing or something else. She looked around and could not find anyone she knew, she decided to find a nice place to sit down and wait. She would sit and watch until someone approached her.

Julius couldn't help but smile at his guild mates for accepting Julius for who he is. But not 2 seconds passed or Blue was already putting all his anger towards the red eyed girl. And if that was not enough a other girl appeared and she began putting even more oil on the fire. Um please excuse Julius but could you please stop talking about his height he doesn't really like that. Julius putted the nicest smile he could. And then out of nowhere a other girl appeared saying that he is bigger then Blue which was true.

On Julius's question if there was any bad blood between Blue and Heero Lucky whispered to him that he didn't like people that were bigger then Blue. Um but does that mean he also doesn't like Julius because Julius is taller then him? Julius whispered back.

Serena observed as more little conflicts and situations popped up all over the place. A small smile crept on her face, as she realised she had more people to observe. It was fun seeing how people reacted to others' words, depending on the situation at hand. For some reason, she didn't feel intimidated at all, she actually felt amused to be more exact. She didn't think she would feel this intrigued at such an event as this.

Although Allison had originally been meaning to trail around following Venir, she simply couldn’t stay put upon seeing all of these wonderful mages arrive.  There were so many!  She hadn’t even met this many people in her entire life so far!  That might not have been true... but there were still an enormous amount of mages of all sorts here at this ball, and Allison was determined to meet as many as possible.  However, despite her overly energetic personality the girl was well aware that causing a scene by greeting everyone at once could possibly end up taking away the attention from the mages who were trying to talk with their friends and be listened to.  Therefore, she chose what seemed the most simple route-- making her way around the entire room, as large as it was, and stopping whenever it seemed to be appropriate.  The red haired girl set off immediately, her dress swishing around behind her as she occasionally bumped into people.

“Ahh, I’m so sorry!” The girl cried out, realizing that she had squarely crashed into another mage.  After apologizing several more times, her words piling out in a jumble that was barely understandable, Allison curtsied, then bowed, and then went straight for a swift apology hug.  It only lasted a few moments as to not make the stranger uncomfortable, and then the red haired mage promptly introduced herself.

“My name is Allison, nice to meet you!  I’m really sorry-- are you alright?”  She was still smiling brightly, as usual, but it somehow seemed to have dimmed a bit due to her distress at inconveniencing the other mage.  In an instant, a way to apologize besides her normal methods popped into the redhead’s mind.  Rushing off to a table where an abundance of assorted sweets were carefully arranged, Allison selected her favorites and then carefully stacked them in the center of a large napkin, cupping the bundle with both hands as she bounded back to where she had left the unknown mage. “Here, have some!  I’m really sorry for bumping into you... is there any way I can make it up to you?  What’s your name, by the way?”
