Why Should Your Character Should Be....: (I've never been a fan of applying for something and talking about how I "deserve" what I'm applying for. It makes me think I sound self-absorbed and arrogant. Either way, I guess I have to act like I "deserve" what I'm applying for.)
I have been here over the course of about 4 or so months, and have been quite active mostly on the Cbox. I'll be honest, my motivation for posting has been dwindling lately but I've been thinking of a way to fix that. Personal plot is what comes into mind when I think of fixing my resolve. I've been planning several overarching plotlines between my characters that connect at various intervals. Said plots involve several OTHER people, said people differing depending on which of my characters I'm using. Naturally, I don't want to do this alone. The reason I apply for this position on this alt (I'm Sumdumguy for those who don't know) is because it would help me determine the plot for my character much easier, and would give me multiple options for the this particular character's plotline to connect with the others. If all goes well, and I communicate properly with staff, I might be able to make this a sort of site event that everyone could participate in. That's if everything goes well too.
If not, then I can at least help further the plot of other people and give my character a better sense of direction. Currently my character's backstory is heavily intertwined with one or two other characters, maybe even a few more (one to name for sure is Rekka Lawless). If I can't actually do my plot thingies, then I can at least do it to help define other people's plot/backstory or to use as RP material to make threads and such more interesting for everyone else. The way I intend to use this is for the benefit of both me and others to an even extent. I think it would be interesting to have slayer magic, personally, but I can't be selfish, as that would set a bad example for the community AND make myself look bad. So in turn, I would like to use this to define my character's backstory AND to make future RPs with this character more interesting by using this position as a sort of conversational tool (and for combat, when the occasion happens). It's kind of like that gun you mount on the wall next to a mounted moose head. Someone asks about one or the other and you say "I used that gun to kill that moose." and it starts a hole conversation about it. Every now and again you take it down and polish it, and then every once in a while you use it. This is kinda like that.
About Me: I've been RPing on and off for the past 5-6 years (I can't remember when I started) and have had loads of fun since I've been here. I think this is the second longest I've been on an RP site, but I intend on staying here until the day this place dies (which probably won't happen for years, if it does at all). I'm active, and while I've had a few scuffles in chat in chat, I'm pretty sure I've maintained at least a decent image in the eyes of the community. I can active all day and usually am, but I have moments where I'm unable to be contacted... except via skype, where no one really pokes me. Still, I'm always capable of being in contact with everyone else provided they take the initiative to poke me, PM me, or tell someone else I know to poke me for them.
