OOC events

you do know that an experienced yu hi oh player would stomp you to. okay fair in the yu hi oh one all the cards are avaible and you could search a premade pro deck. but still in evry game skill will always matter (or it has to be board game online but even there a bit of experience brings you ahead) .

the server thing stated - we can have 2 different one for europe west and one for america. we all can make a new acount if your not on that server and could use rules as only use free champs or somthing.

Server thing has another issue tied to it: latency. Not everyone can just go and make a new account and just using free champs won't level the playing field either. Latency will matter a lot. A league tournament won't really work either, as it would need to be 1v1 or 2v2 at most, as getting a team of 5 vs a team of 5, may be difficult, due to timezones and servers/latency.

And skill does matter, but League is based around skill, while games like BGO have luck and Yu-Gi-Oh has card draw, which can put a more skilled player behind. While League is mostly all skill, except for critical hits on lower crit chances.

Another thing to consider for League is runes. They make a huge difference in games, and someone without a complete rune page that works well for their champion will easily fall behind.

Card games and forum based/chatbox based games would be the easiest to control.
As I mentioned in my OP, rewards don't have to necessarily be IC rewards. Glows, chatbox icons, cbox mod for the day(lol) and other such things could be done.

And jewels rewards, if any have them, don't have to be high numbers.

A 5v5 (or 4v4, depending on how many players would participate) Custom League game. The entrance fee is 10k jewels and the winning team gets it all and splits it up between them. So every winning player gets 10k from a game. A small competition.

We wouldn't even need approval or anything like that as we give the reward ourselves.

Concerning Runes and whatnot. We could agree on either everyone has to be not using rune pages (this can be checked on lol nexus at the start of matches to make sure no one is cheating), or that all participants have at least the standard AP/AD Rune pages.

Either way, the more teams we get, the funnier it could be. If every team gives 50k in a pot, and we have 4 teams, we could make a tournament where the winning team takes it all.

Just an idea, but I'd love to have some matches with other people.

that sounds like fun, and just as lyserg said you don't need approval to try to make an tournament like that. But some staff involved couldn't hurt in making it an announcement or even an official thing too. It can even increase the price pool a bit.

I run the occasional Cards Against humanity with the people in ES. I can also run Pathfinder games, Laws of the Night (Vampire game), and Only War (Warhammer 40k) once a week for you guys. It would be fun to get in the groove of things again.

I'd really like to play the Pathfinder Mistborn game lol.
