Job: Housekeeping!

When she got to the clients house, she found the man already attempting to run outside the door, many suitcases in hand serving only to slow him down.

"Excuse me darling... I can see your sabertooth tattoo, are you here to accept my job? Oh of course you are why else would you be here? Here are the keys, make sure you lock up, and there's a fly swatter on every floor, oh and I made sure to close all the windows and every opening so that pest Frank doesn't get in. Remember dont hurt that dog... the neighbours will sue me if you do... alright well have fun! oh and be careful, the ceiling leaks!"
He said before he completly disappeared from view, elaving Aayla standing there looking utterly confused at what had just happened. It was a good thing that she WAS here to accept that job, or else this guy would of just given his house keys away to a total stranger. She shook her head lightly as she walked towards thehouse, stepping inside and setting Zinneth onto a counter.

In the distance she could hear a dog barking, and soon, the barking sounded like it got closer and closer. With a gasp, Aayla ran to the still open front door and quickly shut it, and even locked it as if the dog might be able to unlock doors. She heard a loud CRASH as the dogs form hit the door. She ave a light shriek and backed away from the door, but no more noise came from there... maybe the dog hadn't been able to ut on the breaks in time and just hit the door? She hoped so... a cute little dog couldn't really be that mean could it?

"Oh well... come on Zinny, you keep guard on the windows and doors. I'll start making sure the roof doesn't leak"
The young girl stated as she disappeared to try and find a bucket and some rags in hopes of containing this leak. OF course, ti wasn't raining so that would be hard to do.

'Monster Dice' :

Every time Aayla opened a closet door, or a cupboard door, flies seemed to fly out by the dozen. IT was actually really disgusting! Aayla swatted her hand this way and that to get the flies away from her  face, however they just seemed to continue buzzing about. She frowned and huffed at the annoyance, raising her hand and firing off a few small water bubbles which normally, would only be used to felt others breath underwater, however this time, she removed any oxygen from them to create small bubbbles. She fired these bubbles at groups of flies only to have the water splash and break against the opposing walls.


"Oops..."
The small girl grunted, running to the closet (releasing more flies) to grab the broom. How was it possible to have so many flies in one room! it wasn't like this was a farm! mind you the houe did smell pretty bad... There were dirty clothes lying about everywhere, old food, books stacked over books which had been dripped on thanks to the rain and now smelled like old mouldy feet.


"Gross..."

"oh! I know..."
Aayla exclaimed as she went upstairs to grab a dirty laundry basket, and began picking up all of the clients dirty clothes, putting it all in the basket. Instantly, the flies were attracted to the attrocious smell and began to swarm around and in the basket, tring to get the best piece of filth thy could. Aayla brought the basket out to the backyard, putting it down onto the lawn and closing the door to the house. There, se proceeded to soak the basket constantly, drowing the flies en mass while giving the clothes a much needed rinse. Once this pack of flies were dead, she took the basket back inside and to the basement where she began to do the an's laundry. When she went back upstairs, she picked up all of the man's books, seperating them by which ones were wet, and which ones were unaffected. The clean ones she put away in the bookcases (which she dusted off) and the wet ones she brought outside in the sun, opening the books and letting the sun hit their pages to dry.

At this point, all t hat truly attracted the flies was the garbage and the dirty plates as well as the old food. She quickly threw out all of the old moldy food from the fridge, cleaning the inside as best she could. She then proceeded to the dishes, scrapping off all the old bits of food stuck onto the plates. She then took out the garbage to the end of the man's driveway and drowned the back in water again to kill the flies that had followed the bag outside.

As she moved to go back into the house, she could hear the loud panting of a dog directly behind her. She froze up before spinning on her heels and finding Frank sitting at the end of the driveway. Frank was a huge Husky, his dark face and blue eyes piercing her own, his fluffy white tail wagging excitedly in the dirt. Aayla really wanted to go and play with the dog, but forced ehrself to quickly run back into the house and lock the dor not to let Frank in. She absolutely adored dogs! but the client clearly expressed he didn't want Frank in the house, in fact the dog could be down right viscious if he wanted to be.

With a sigh, Aayla got back to her cleaning. She swept and mopped the floors, using her magic to create the water needed to clean which ended up leaving a beautiful shine on the floors and objects she cleaned off! By the time she was done, Darkness had fallen outside, most of the towns lights had been turned off except for this house. She sighed as she put the last laod of the clients laundry in the dryer and moved back upstairs where she had cleaned the bedroom (which was jsut as nasty) and replaced all of the dirty linnen with clean ones. She let herself flop down onto the clients bed with a groan, Zinneth soon finding her way up onto the night side table.

"I never thought I'd have to clean like that again..."
The young girl grumbled to herself  as she watched Zinneth strike forward and trap a fly in her mouth. Aayla couldn't help but laugh as she reached up and pet Zinneth's head.

"Great shot..."
She said, stiffling a yawn but giving in and closing her eyes.

"Thank you Zinny..."
she muttered before falling asleep.

She only managed to get about an hour or two of sleep, before she could start hearing the drip rip drop of the rain hitting the roof, and along with the rain, came the leaky roof. She grunted and sighed as she got up out of bed. She knew she would have to deal with the leaky roof, but to be honest, she had no idea how...

She got up out of bed and moved back downstairs where she managed to find two large blue construction tarps. This would have to do the trick until the client came home and paid for a contractor to come and fix his house. She would appologize for not doing t herself, but she would at least keep his property safe from the rain.

She walked out into the backyard where she stacked anything she could find to form a ladder where she jumped up onto the roof and began tying down the tarp over both sides of the roof so that the rain would just trickle off without seeping in. She was getting soaked to the bone, but the girl really didn't mind the cold rain. In fact, she actually quite enjoyed it. The only thing she didn't enjoy was the lack of sleep.

She tied down the tarps, leaving only the troughs exposed to the water before going back indoors. Her dress seemed to instantly dry up, her hair did too as she pulled it back into a long ponytail and then turned that into a bun to keep her hair out of her face as she went back to bed, where she would only get to sleep another hour or two before the sun would rise and she would have to take the flying demon train back home...
