Group Word Count: Word count is based on each individual member. Members have the choice of completing the word count requirements, and receiving the benefits of, no more than one rank above their current one. Job Description: Nightmare is invading the Rune Knight headquarters in Era! Through unknown means, Nightmare has launched a pre-emptive strike by disabling all magic within the city for a short duration of time! The effects of this curse apply to everyone already in the city, but only last for 1 post. During this time Nightmare’s first wave of robotic soldiers will attack Era while the wizards follow behind. Travel time for NM to Era is also 1 post. Please refer to your choice guild’s mission focus for details.

Nightmare: Members of Nightmare have two objectives in this event. The main objective is to utterly destroy the headquarters for the Rune Knights, taking out as many of their NPC forces as possible by any means necessary, as well as obtaining useful data from their guild such as records, documents, and important files while destroying the rest. Their second objective is a distraction mission to split the Rune Knight forces, as a second group will attack the building for the Magic Council and wreak as much havoc as possible.

Rune Knights: The objective for the Rune Knight members is to try and fend off both attacks as best you can. If you choose to apprehend any Nightmare NPCs, do not assume that they give you any and all information that you want about Nightmare being the perpetrator. This sort of information must be gathered from a PC Nightmare member. Additionally, Rune Knight members may choose to treat this as their introduction thread to the guild if they wish, or you may choose to already be in the Rune Knights and be a survivor of the event.

Enemies: Enemies vary based on which guild you are from, and are scaled to rank.

Reward: Each character receives jewel and experience based on the rank of WC they completed for the event. Additionally, both guilds receive 200,000j as well as an additional 25,000j for each character after the fifth that completes the job.

Job Description: A dark guild calling themselves the Crimson Fang is invading the Rune Knight headquarters in Era! The objective for the Rune Knight members is to try and fend off the attacks as best you can, with the focus of trying to subdue and apprehend as many criminals as possible. Kill only if you must in defense of yourself, an ally, or an innocent bystander. Additionally, members may choose to treat this as their introduction thread to the guild if they wish, or you may choose to already be in the Rune Knights and be a survivor of the event. The following locations will be coming under attack:

Rune Knight Headquarters - This is the main objective of Crimson Fang's attack, as they are looking to free some of their members that are imprisoned here. They will be focusing heavily on bringing down the prison, likely looking to free as many criminals as possible in order to ensue enough chaos to make it to their own people.

Magic Council Hall - As a distraction, Crimson Fang will be sending some of their elite warriors to attack the meeting hall of the Council. On the surface this will appear to be the main desire of attack, but it is really only a ruse to attempt to cover up the jail break. Enemies here seem to have no real goal outside of wanton destruction.

City of Era - If enough Knights sign up for the event, a third thread may be opened in which the city of Era and its citizens are also attacked as a secondary distraction to try and split the Rune Knight forces. Similarly to the Council Hall, this attack has no ulterior purpose aside from mass destruction to keep the Knights busy.

Enemies: Enemies (aside from bosses) are scaled to rank.

• Enemy: Rookies
  Enemy Rank: Weak
  Enemy HP, MP, Damage Output, Speed: 1-2 ranks below player’s
  Spells & Attacks: These mages are not very strong, and because of that they tend to travel in packs of ten to twenty. Most of them do not have a very good command of any magic because they are still learning and honing their spells, so they tend to fight with a mixture between weak blasts and common weapons such as swords, knives, hammers, and rifles. You may feel free to flavor their magics and weapons as you choose. Only requires 2-3 hits of your rank to take down.
  

• Enemy: Adepts
  Enemy Rank: Normal
  Enemy HP, MP, Damage Output, Speed: Equal to player’s rank
  Spells & Attacks: These enemies are a bit more difficult to fight. They have been with Crimson Fang a little longer, and have a fair bit more control of their magic. They travel in packs of three to four, and are harder to take down. You may flavor their magics and weapons as you please. Requires 8-10 hits of your rank to defeat.
  

• Enemy: Veterans
  Enemy Rank: Strong
  Enemy HP, MP, Damage Output, Speed: 1-2 ranks above player’s
  Spells & Attacks: These guys have been with the dark guild for years, and have full command of their magic and skills. They are extremely difficult to take down even if it's just them against a group of Knights. Typically, there is a squad of either Rookies or Adepts following them around. Their magics and weapons may be flavored as desired, but their weapons are heavily imbued with magic. Requires 15-18 hits of your rank to defeat.
  

• Enemy: Elites
  Enemy Rank: Boss
  Enemy HP, MP, Damage Output, Speed: H rank or higher
  Stats & Magic: The elites of Crimson Fang are the Guildmaster and his two Aces. They should not be engaged by low level Rune Knights without the assistance of either the Field Marshall or one of the Generals. Only the Field Marshall or a General may generate an Elite enemy in their thread. These mages have completely mastered their primary magic, and are also in possession of a secondary magic. They require 20-25 hits at S rank or higher to take down.
