Cruel some had called her. Others called her mad and many called her both. Others called her a genius. Most called her evil. So many names and titles and other such things revolved around this woman, but in her mind she only answered to about four. Guildmaster, Disaster Zone, Hell Queen and King of Mutilation. A fearsome set of titles, but it was these titles, or two of them at least that had allowed her to devise a particularly challenging set of obstacles for her most loyal non-demon minion to overcome. Today was an important day for Chelvaric, a man who had fought alongside her, or beneath her to be more accurate, for a long time now. At one point they had even been equals and he may of even outclassed her at some points. However, now her raw talent had blossomed and she outclassed him by far. He wanted to be an A rank mage worthy of serving under and being one step close to gaining the title of Chosen or as most guilds called them Ace. He was not quite that powerful yet, but A rank was possible though only if he could pass her tests.

"Is everything ready?" Naraku asked from her throne and from the shadows spoke a voice in response.

"Yes my King. We have prepared the seven chambers as requested." the voice said before going silent. This was one of the kugeki, the shiro kugeki if she recalled correctly. A group she would never of had access to if it were not for gaining the title of King of Mutilation.

"Then now we wait." the Hell queen said stroking her hand along the sword that rested upon her lap. It gave out a sort of purring noise as she did so and she looked at skeptically before returning her gaze to the doors. These were constructed out of Etertanium. Eternanium was a highly expensive material constructed by magic that once finished became near impervious to all but the strongest magics. It was the perfect door and due to its weight served as a perfect test for those who wished to enter the castle of Beatum Torquebit (Divine Torment). Chelvaric had already passed that test, but perhaps now he would be able to open it without using magic to strengthen him. It would be interesting to see.

Chelvaric was Walking through the guild castle as he was finally ready for the big test. He stretched out as he was preparing himself to open that big ass door in leading to the main hall in a moment again. last time he couldn’t open it and that disappointed naraku. But he felt way stronger now. The fighting with one arm had made some good experience to him. But now his arm was finally fully cured again and it felt better than ever. When he joined here he did it to probe his strength to Naraku and to become her tool. Now he could prove his new gained strength and move on to more advanced techniques in his magic. If he would succeed that is but he was sure that he wouldn’t fail. Failure in front of Naraku would mean his dead. And this wasn’t the day he would die.

Tough he wondered what kind of tests would be in wait for him. He arrived at the door where he stood for the first time when he joined the guild. The demonic runes on it where still the same and were like laughing at him that he didn’t do it last time. but this time he was sure to do it. He cracked his knuckles and stepped some yards back. He took a deep breath and then started to charge at the door with his shoulder forward. He rammed the door with a big force and the door wiped out of its place by a little distance. Actualy the force he used looked meager to the distance the door moved. His shoulder was nearly dislocated by the hit of it but he didn’t care. He was now pushing it open slowly with only his strength. Sweat coming on his forehead. Last time it only budged slowly. Now he was actually making progress in opening it. when it was half opened he crushed his feet in the ground and pushed one last time with everything he had in him the door swung open the last damage and he finally had opened it with his own strength. Sweat dropped from his face but he didn’t care. The half sentence of the opened door was like crying that it had lost to the new and improved Chelvaric. He was ready for anything that was going to be thrown at him.

He entered the guild hall and Naraku was sitting on her demonic throne as always. He walked slowly through the hall while raising his head as nearly to show that he had enough pride to beat anything she would throw at him. It was more the excitement that made him dream about things he didn’t reach yet. And he would probably fall with both feeds on the ground in a couple of minutes.

“I am here for the test Hell Queen Naraku”, Chelvaric said as he kneeled with one knee and laid his head on the ground. As he silently waited for his mistress to bestow him with the honor to take her test of strength. This would be his day and his strength that would conquer the fearful mind of Naraku. Only to become more useful to her.and to finish his revenge.

Naraku smiled slightly as she sensed no magical usage as the door creaked open. He had used pure physical strength proving himself worthy enough to take the test. He might actually survive though it would be difficult to be sure until she'd seen him in battle.

"Welcome Chelvaric." she said and then rose to her feet before beginning to walk down the stairs. As she descended the stairs themselves sunk into the ground, as did the throne, until their was a completely smooth floor revealing two things that had not been there before. A large metallic lid on the floor behind where her throne had been and behind that a door with six indentations. "Your test is to open this door and fight what is within. However, that is just one part of your challenge." She walked over to the metallic lid and despite its size used little effort to remove it. She was now that strong. As she removed it the smell of sea water was apparent, particularly to the sensitive noses of the two slayers. "Dive down into this water and you will see six tunnels. You must go up each of these tunnels and find the cavern. Within each cavern you will face a test which if passed will give you a gem in the shape of a skull." She indicated the door behind her with a gesture of her hand. The indentations each now glowed a different colour revealing to even untrained eyes that they were skull shaped. "As you may of guessed the skulls open this door." She clapped her hands and a group of ninja-clad people dropped down and struck Chelvaric in several places before vanishing as quickly as they had come. The Kugeki really were a useful bunch. "Your summons have been sealed away. This is a test of you and you alone. Use Miu and you will fail." She slowly sunk down into her own shadow, but just as her head was about to vanish she spoke once more.

"Oh and just so you don't think i'm unfair you will be healed after each challenge."

"You're too generous Mistress." said the echoey voice of Sin.

"Oh shut up Sin."

As Naraku addressed him the chamber started to move around and the throne had disappeared into the ground after a couple of seconds. She walked over to the new things that appeared in the room. Behind her a kind of door was built into the wall. Six holes were in the door and that was a big suspect that it was hiding something big or locking up something big and dangerous. Maybe his test would involve the thing that was inside the room behind the door. And it was actually that as Naraku explained his job.
She removed a very big lit from the floor like it was a blanket while she explained he had to get six keys for the door. Chelvaric was listening to her but was a little bit distracted when the sea smell came into its nose. The sea was a terrible place. It was nothing more than endless sea to all the directions that you looked. He hated the ocean even more then water itself. He never taught he would be stiffened of fear up until now. Until Naraku dropped the words: jump in the water. It was like somebody had slammed a hammer to his cheek. But that was maybe the persons who dropped next to him and hit him all over his body to seal off his summons. So she made sure he couldn’t use his summons but he wasn’t planning to use them anyway.

After the punches and the talking of Naraku he took a deep breathe to calm down his mind that was gone haywire. He needed to know what was what and what was the best thing to do. He needed to get the six keys from caves. Probably some kind of challenges were laid down in these caves. Like the water wasn’t a big enough challenge already a little voice said in his head. he quickly quiet it down and went further. He couldn’t use Miu either as that would make him fail instantly. So get the keys open the door and beet the mob. He tought and then nodded to himself.

“I won’t fail you mistress.”, Chelvaric said as he ripped Miu’s card from his pants and laid it down on the ground next to him. If he left her here he wouldn’t be tempted to use her. with this and his summons being sealed off he was completely on himself. Not that any of them could help him with the first test anyway. the big water issue. He had no clue what to do. He was sweating from the thought of water alone and now he was standing in front of a pit with seawater. Goddamed seawater. Not normal water no water with freaking salt in it. if there was a bane for cat’s then water was a so big that it could eat the earth like a human eating a fly. But he had to conquer this if he wanted to show his power to naraku.

He threw the idea of touching the water aside as he better found a way to get through the water without being able to swim. How the heck would he be able to go through the water if he doesn’t even know how that worked. He should think about the fishes he ate to know some of their techniques. Well most of them had big tails to go forward. He could use his wings to simulate that but would that be good enough. Probably not he wouldn’t be able to use them correctly under water. Try to swim could be a good shot. But what if he drowns. Ah this first challenge was already so hard. he could use wind mail but then he can’t move. Wait! That’s it. he has to use his spinner. When his si spinning the water will be kept away by the wind and on the other side he goes so fast he will be In no time there. He doesn’t use the spell to much anyway.

Chelvaric had found his plan now he just had to execute it good. If he does this right he would have overcome the first test without actually overcoming the fear of water. Well probably not how Naraku wanted to but he would complete the task. He started to focus as he was being lift up in the air. Blades of air started to create over his body and covered each inch of it. after this he started to spin very harshly around. Till he was on a speed of fifty yards each second. He flew out right in to the water. The blades were spinning so fast they cut the water away for him. He flew through it an went into one of the caves. He tried to go faster and faster to reach the cave in time. He took the second tunnel of the right and went through it. just when the spell was about to stop he flew out of the water and slammed in a wall. He didn’t really aim its landing and was now dizzy of the spinning while he was dizy of the slam to. He was walking like a drunk man trough the cave while he tried to find the entrance. He was so dizzy that he fell on a wall with rocks shaped in a skull. The wall was a illusion and chell fell into a chamber. The chamber of the first challenge he would do.

The chamber Chelvaric was in was pure white. This was the place of the white skull. The white test was a test against a pure being. A being completely devoid of magical power who relied on pure skill and strength to take down an opponent. Sitting on a white chair was a man clad entirely in a white uniform with two silver shoulder pads. His hair was a very pale purple, almost white, and very spiky. His purple eyes were gazing at Chelvaric warmly and the man was smiling. He took a sniff of a white flower in his hand and then dropped the flower lunging at a speed even Naraku would find hard to match without some sort of boost. "I am the white Shard." it said in a voice that sounded empty and hollow, yet it was followed with a laugh that was full of humour. This being was not planning to give Chelvaric a chance to recover. "My skull is what you want...can you take it Chelvaric?"


Your opponent:
Shard is an A rank class physical fighter who relies on speed and power to overwhelm opponents. He is highly agile and quite resistant needing 15 B rank hits to take down. Each of his strikes is considered B rank damage. If he successfully hits you three times then the next hit (fourth hit) will do A rank damage. His hits then return to B rank until he hits you three times again. He can jump high enough to hit you even if you are in the air.

You have to have at least 1500 words on how you beat him.
You can do it one post if you wish
He is highly skilled in close combat and should be capable of hitting you.

Chelvaric was shaking it’s head as he was trying to regain his vision. His head hurt from the bump and was still shaking from the spinning. So it took a couple of seconds till he knew where he was. It seemed he was in a pure white room. So white it nearly looked like there were no walls in the room. Like a big void dimension. But in the middle of it there was a man sitting on a chair looking at Chelvaric. He was wearing a traditional monk fighting uniform in complete white. With silver shoulder pads that wore a sickle on top of it. probably the sign of his religion or something Chelvaric thought. His eyes and hair on the other hand were purple. Tough the hair was nearly white it was hard to distinct the purple of it.

The man said a couple of things but Chelvaric didn’t really pay attention as there was a whistle blowing in his ear from the spinning. He slapped a couple times on it before It was away and then looked back to his enemy. It seemed he was very fast. Too fast to keep up with his eyes. But not like that was the only way to keep track of him. Chelvaric smiled a little. He needed a skull so this man’s skull was the key. He didn’t really need to think about it. Seeing it was Naraku who made this challenge. How she got a pure being here he wondered pretty hard but that was not the time for this. The man was not to be underestimated of course. He was quick and probably very strong. How he gained this quick speed without magic was a mystery for him.

“Yes Yes, I am here for your skull. It’s not like you need it anyway so just give it to me. and while you’re at it your blood to.”, Chelvaric said as he was toying with the man. Not because he was afraid of him. But because he was strong and worthy to drink it’s blood. He licked with his tongue over his hand. he then jumped forward to leech to the man. But the man had already jumped up and landed behind him with a speed and grace he never had seen before.

“So you want to fight me this eagerly. Sorry Chelvaric but I like my head you will have to take it from me if you can. Now let em teach you a lesson about speed.”, the man said and he disappeared. With a normal opponent this would may have worked perfectly but not with chelvaric. As the man appeared behind him he notices his breathing before he could make a move and he kicked behind him with a leg kick. But the man caught the leg with tremendous ease and threw chelvaric away. But before he would hit the wall he kicked him in the ground. Chelvaric was hit on his back with a big hit. But he ignored the pain and landed on his hands and spin around hitting the man in the face. the man jumped over chelvaric again and kicked his arms from underneath him and kicked him on his chest and Chelvaric slammed in the wall.

“Now that I have hit you three times the light of rashjnah will guide me!”, the white shard shouted and he flew towards Chelvaric with a fist punch. It was very fast but Chelvaric could duck just in time. the man hit in the wall and a good piece of rock was destroyed because of the hit. He truly needed to dodge that fourth hit. Even if he only did melee this man was above Chelvaric in Damage and speed. While the man was trying to pull his arm out of the wall he jumped forward with his shoulder hitting the stomach of the man in full force. He then pulled the man up in the air and let him fall on the ground while the man’s head went first down and Chelvaric falling on him. He had hit the man good and it was clear the fight was currently in no one’s favor.

“I know my own share of melee combat tricks. You won’t take me down purely on speed spark. You may be strong but i have some tricks up my sleeve to.”, Chelvaric said after he had punched the guy in the gound. He had landed a good five hits now. But he had cheered to soon as he felt a punch hitting his stomach with a full force. He was then grabbed at his arm and thrown in the air. The guy jumped up and made a round kick right into Chelvarics stomach. He flew right down into the earth and his stomach hurted like shit. He probably had broken a couple of ribs in that last hit. But then the finishing move came the guy fell down with his foot first way’s. lightened up by his god again as it was the fourth attack. It slammed into Chelvaric with full force. His chest felt like crushing under the boot of the shard. All the air was being sucked out of his body and he was laying still after the guy jumped from him.

“Tricks can’t beat me cat. I fight with no evil or lies in my heart. That’s why I will win from you. You can’t keep up with the truth. You will fail and Naraku will never accept you. You will never have you’re revenge. You will die here in this pit. Under my booth.”, the shard said in its hollow voice while he slowly walked to Chelvaric for the finishing move. Chelvaric was coughing up some blood as he was near dead. Would he win this or would he be defeated. It would be hard to recover from this and the battle would be even more harder after wards. He wasn’t strong enough yet to beat this guy without magic. He wanted to do it without but it seemed a A rank was capable of things that was above his head. The shard jumped in the hole and grabbed chelvaric by his clothes. he was looking at him and he was about to head but chelvaric. But Chelvaric started to smile.

“Why are you smiling youre a dead man. Well anyway have a good afterlive…”, the man said but before he could finish wind gathered over chelvaric’s body. It sped up to a speed that was so fast the wind made cuts to things. The Shard started to scream as he pulled his hands out of the wind. The thing scouldn’t even be called hand’s anymore. The wind had cut him up so hard there were no fingers anymore and the flesh was fully cut up. The man was screaming as he was going down of the pain. Chelvaric didn’t waste any time and started to cast three discs around him.

“Sky Demon Circle Saw!”, Chelvaric shouted and he threw his arms forward. The three spinning saw’s flew out and they went to the shard. Who was still looking at his hand’s confused about what happened. He lifted his head up when he heard the sound of the saws approaching. But he was to confused to react as the saws hit him. One sliced through his stomach splattering blood around. Half of its intestines fell out of its body. Then another saw flew through the shoulder of the man slicing it up. The blood splatters of the cutting up flew against the pure white walls and started to paint the room red. Red the colour of blood. Even the tunic of the man was covered in the red of the man’s blood. The last circle saw he could half dodged as it normally should have cut his head in two it just sliced an ear off. Chelvaric was floating in its wind mail as it was now protecting him from the man’s melee attacks. Not that he would attack soon as he was screaming from the pain. Chelvaric stopped the mail himself and dropped to the ground. He would finish the man off with his fist as they both were wounded to the near end.

“Now You know the power of a demon let us finish this fight.”, chelvaric calmly said while holding a hand on his stomach trying to stop the pain of the broken rips. The shard roared in anger as he looked at his body and around him. Chelvaric had ruined evryhting the man wanted and He was now getting furius. Even if he couldn’t use his hands anymore he still had his legs he would show this cat his place.

“You Destroyed my room! This was pure white and you made it Red! My wish was to live in a eternal peace world. And you destroyed it. don’t think these body wounds will stop me!”, he said and he sprinted forward. As his body was bleeding everywhere and his stomach just rolled out of its body. Chelvaric didn’t realy care and he awaited the man calmly. Just trusting his movement’s. he would break this man with the way of the tiger. He stuck his fingers out and showed his palms to the enemy. The tiger stance of melee fighters ancients ago.

The man tried to kick chelvaric. But he just jumped over the leg. He landed behind the man and kicked the knee of the shard. The shard droped a bit and ten chelvaric strike in the wound on the shoulder of the man. The shard disappeared after he got hit just to show up behind Chelvaric. But Chelvaric had sensed his breathing and dropped to the ground. The kick of the shard went over its head. and Chevlaric jumped up again. he then jumped on the shard and punched with his left food on the man’s left knee. A breaking sound was heard while Chelvaric was looking in the eyes of the man. Were only terror was seen. He then stomped his right foot on the man’s right knee breaking it again. the shard fell on his knee as he was unable to stand up anymore. Chelvaric jumped off and walked up to the man. He then stricken with his palms against the shard chest in rapid succession. Chelvarics stomach felt numb but he ignored it and just gave strike after strike on the body of the shard. After a couple of minutes the shard fell on the floor. His chest was a bloody pulp of flesh and crushed bones. The room wasn’t white anymore but pure red.

“Do never again think that I will never reach my goals.”, Chelvaric said as he walked over to the man. He was coughing heavenly and a lot of blood came out of his mouth. Who was he kidding it was a miracle he had survived this fight. If he didn’t had wind mail he would have bee, defeated easly. But still he had won. Even if his body was completely messed up. He kneeled down near the shard and grabbed its head. he then put his feet on both shoulders of the man and started to pull on it. not long after the head got torn off of the man’s shoulders.

“I got The first skull!”, Chelvaric shouted as he put up the skull in triumphant in the air. Not even knowing why he did this. But it just felt good. He only ahd done one challenge yet. And this one was already pretty harsh. What would await him even deeper in the challenge he did not know. But one thing he knew. This man’s blood tasted delicious. As he licked up the blood of the man’s torn of neck.

As the blood was drunk by Chelvaric magic energy began to flow through his body healing any wounds he had received and restoring his magic power to maximum. It was almost, at least to him, as if the fight had never been. The flesh from the skull slowly dissolved away revealing a pure white skull, but it was not made from bone. No, it was made from some strange crystalline substance and it glowed brightly. Strangely though the mouth of the skull opened and a voice spoke. It was the voice of Naraku. Somehow she had got these objects enchanted, purely for this test, so that they could channel her voice. Being a Kugeki King really did have its advantages, particularly when you were as powerful as Naraku.

"Well done kitty cat. You have passed the first of the trials, but more await." the voice said and then it stopped for a moment. "Shut up Sin. I'm talking to him." were the next words heard and then a sound of irritation. She obviously hadn't meant for that sentence to be heard by Chelvaric. "Anyway...try to make the next fights a bit more interesting. If I get bored that will be a failure too. So...toddle off now and do the others."

The waters behind Chelvaric, which were how he entered began to swish about more as if the underwater sea was somehow become storm tossed. It was in fact doing exactly that, but it was not a natural occurence. The cavern Chelvaric was in had been build specifically for his test and the water pumped in. Within the walls of the central cavern were fans and other devices to change the nature of the water. Now not only would it be a bit rougher, it would be a bit colder and would have some currents as well. The challenge would only keep increasing.

Chelvaric was feeling very rejuvenated while he was drinking the blood of the man. His wounds healed like they were never there. At least Naraku gave him the pleasure of this. Her tests were extremely hard but that was to be excepted of the person who only wanted those that were useful. She was a blessing but at the same time a curse to Chelvaric. That was what he was thinking while the skull’s flesh went away and a pure crystal white skull appeared. When did she do this. He had no idea but this showed her strength only once more. While this was happening water was flooding in the room. This would highly annoying. His spell was still not ready to be used again so he had to find something else to deal with it. but before he had time to do that a voice started to speak.

He was being congratulated under the name of kitty cat?, Chelvaric didn’t really know what was happening but it seemed Nara was talking to somebody else. Ah and she found the fight a bit boring. Well he wasn’t really trying to make it interesting he was trying to survive. The little voice in himself started to question Chelvarics decision to follow this woman once again. but he quiet it down. it was her way to make him strong. And he would take the opportunity with both hand’s. the water she probably had included to get rid of his fear for it. Or just to amuse herself. Well either way he could use it to train his water handling better. Tough the tought of touching water made shivers over his back. and it was on that moment that a bit of cold water touched the bare skin of his foot.

“SKSSSS”, the cat like scream came out of Chelvaric’s mouth as he jumped up a little. Ah he hated water. He hated it so much. It’s not that he feared it. well maybe a little bit he couldn’t swim. It was more the feeling he disliked so much. That wet feeling on its skin. Ugh he shivered while he was hanging on the wall and looked at the water pouring inside. And on top of that it was freaking cold water. Anyway he had to find a way to get through it. and this time he was going to get wet. Chelvarics face changed in to a sorrow one and tears flowed out of his eyes. Why was a cruel fate like this bestowed on a little neko.

Since he couldn’t swim he had to find another way of transportation. He couldn’t use his wings. Or rather he wouldn’t use them just yet. He would have to do this four more times anyway. the horror of that tough had dropped his tail a bit and it touched the upcoming water. Well he had an idea. But it was a bit crazy. It was his only choice so he had to do it. by the love of Vertir he hoped that this would be quickly over.

He jumped down in the water while he was cursing. The cold water was chilling his bones. And he nearly went over to jump back up. But he had to stay and do it or he would fail. The water was no to his knees already. He was hating this so much. Shivers was going over his back. half crying half cursing he walked to the wall. And punched two big rocks out of it. They felled into the water and Chelvaric jumped back wards as the splash fell next to him. But that only brought more water on him as he tripped and fell backwards into it. He quickly tried to get up and startled around like a fish on the water before he finally got up again. if anybody had watched that they would probably be dyeing of laughing. The great chelvaric having so much trouble with a little bit of water.

He slapped himself in the face and tried to regain its calmness. He didn’t had time for this the water was already nearing his hips. He took a breath and went into the water with his head. oh how he hated this. He took both of the rocks and placed them on his foot. A normal human’s foot would be squeezed. But with his strength he could lift the small rocks up with his toes. He took out his chained scythe and bounded the both rocks to his feet and then started to walk. The water started to go up to his chest as he walked further and further in the water. He wanted to go back so harsh but he couldn’t he needed to pass this.

Before he went head under he took a breath that filled him completely up. Even if he went out of air he could just generate more. But he wouldn’t let it come to that. He didn’t walk, He didn’t run. No he went by like a tornado. Lifting his foot up as fast as he could. The weight kept him down but he could at least get forward. The torents pushed him back a bit. But the weight of the rocks was enough to keep him from flying back to harsh. He arrived at the entrances of all the rooms again and he went into the first tunnel.

He was nearly reaching the end. His air was nearly up so he had to do it even more quickly. He ran as fast as he can and finally reached the end of the tunnel and he jumped the last part of the tunnel. He landed trough the dirt as he landed on the ground. He was breathing in and out. and in mean time licking himself so much dry as he could. This horrible experience would be burned in his brain for the rest of his live. But Atleast he arrived at a new test. Since this time it was a normal door inviting him to enter the room.

As Chelvaric entered the room he would notice it has a distinctively oriental feel, but most noticeably was the fact that everything in the room was a shade of yellow. Well, almost everything. The one thing that wasn't was the opponent who was dressed in black samurai armor with gold ornamentation and two sword across his lap. As he entered the man slowly rose to his feet and attatched the swords to the left side of his hip. One was a wakizashi sized blade and the other a tanto. "I see you have defeated Purity." the man said his voice slightly lyrical in sound. The man looked at Chelvaric for a moment and then a strange energy would course through the neko drying him off entirely.

Suddenly, too fast for the human eye to see, though perhaps Chelvaric might be able to, the swords were drawn and a bolt of energy launched itself at Chelvaric. "My armor is heavy, my stance is strong, my sword is fast." the man said calmly sheathing his swords again. This man was clearly a master of the unsheathing sword style known as battojutsu or iaijutsu. "Your test is to move me from this spot, but be wary my armor is heavier than the gates of the castle above and I will be fighting back."

The rules are similar to that of the first battle except rather than aiming to kill this man you must simply force him from the spot which will be difficult. Getting close to him is hard due to his insanely fast swordsmanship (if you've seen katanagatari think of the second sword) and moving him is harder. It will require fifteen good B rank hits to break his armor and until his armor is broken he will be near impossible to move. He wears the armor of unmoving, a rarely used armor that I just made up ;).

His sword strikes whilst being insanely fast will do B rank cutting damage, but if you stay at a distance he will launch bolts of energy which do B rank + C rank damage.

Also note many things in the room are metal so will conduct electricity.

Chelvaric opened the door to the new room. As the door started to scream out fo protest for being opened after a long time of being closed. He started to see a glimpse of the room. It was Bright yellow colored. But this time a lot of furniture and other stuff was standing in the room. Most were made from some kind of yellow metal. The chairs tables and cabins looked all oriental styled. So it was somebody from that area Chelvaric thought as he walked further in the room. He then noticed the man who was standing in the middle of the room. He seemed to be wearing a very harsh and big armor. It was black and looked like a samurai. He had two swords on his sides and his armor was black with some golden trimming to it.

He started to speak it seemed the man knew he had defeated the white man. As he talked about purify. How did he know without moving out of the chamber. This already foretold a harsh fight to be fought. The way the man was talking was like some kind of poet. He didn’t really care how he talked anyway he just had to defeat the man. In that instant he suddenly felt dry like he was before he jumped into the water. He was so happy he was dry that he didn’t see that electric surge coming. It would have hit him right in the chest if he wasn’t wearing his feather bands. He was teleported backwards and out of him two clones appeared. It hit his replacement and a big lightning appeared around it. so his attacks are elecktrified. This would seem to be a difficult battle. If it was a normal lightning mage he would have a advantage. But he was a swords man. And an insanely fast one at that. the man said some poetic stuff again. and made himself ready to attack again. Saying he was heavier than the castle gate above. He just had to move him and he would win. not that it would be that easy if he was throwing those blades at him.

“As always I shall propose you my play. If I win I shall take some of your blood. If you win you may take some of mine or ask me a question what you choose.”, the tree Chelvarics said in harmony. It wouldn’t be easy to find out who was the real Chelvaric and he had to take this to his advantage now that he could. He started to run around the man to confuse him. The samurai was just following him with his eyes. Till Chelvaric was nearing the other half of the room when the samurai had unsheathed his weapon again. the lightning slash came right flying at his legs and Chelvaric had to jump up to dodge. As he jumped up all the clones also jumped up without hesitation and in complete harmony. Missing them completely. Chelvaric looked at the man while he was landing down to the ground again. but the samurai unsheathed his other weapon. Not aiming from Chelvaric but for the ground underneath him. Why was he targeting the ground. Chelvaric thought as he landed behind the slash. But then the lightning hit a wardrobe on the wall. The metal conducted the lightning right to the plate Chelvaric had landed on. All three of them were hit by the lightning and some light flashes were seen before the clones disappeared in clouds of feathers.

Chelvaric cursed as he felt the hot lightning hitting trough his body. He already lost the advantage of his clones. But that wouldn’t stop him. He just had to find something new. He started to sprint further again while the samurai was shooting out waves of attacks. Chelvaric had trouble dodging them. Since he not only had to dodge the attack’s but also the metal on the ground before he would be able to get closer to him. The slashes hit the wall behind him and small explosions with cloud walks appeared behind him. While he was running circles around the samurai. It was all going so fast it was nearly imposible o follow for a normal human eye.

“Sky Demon Slasher!”, Chelvaric shouted as he started to form air scimitars pointing to his back on his arms. the air started to move around them as to show they were armed. As he tried to run a bit closer the attacks started to increase in magnitude but he was shooting them out a bit slower. But far more accurate. He slided under one and jumped up shooting out his own blades. He was too late to respond and the blades hit him full on the armor. But that didn’t even leave a scratch on him. Eh would have to hit him multiple times and even then he doubted he would get through. Time to get closer in. instead of running In circles he went right towards him. The samurai kept slashing out his waves. Chelvaric had to run in a zigzag pattern. While trying to dodge the attacks. It went fairy easily. And that’s what concerned him it shouldn’t be going easy. He finally reached the seven yards distance of the samurai and after dodging one of his blade attacks he could throw his blades against him again. the blades flew on the moment he had unsheathed his sword’s and again he got hit. Not that he was hit hard but atleast it was something. A standing target was the easiest target to hit. Even if he had awesome fast blades.

“Sword Stance Cobra”, the man said calmly and he took his swords and put them on his back. he laid his hand’s on it and started to attack. The lightning flew out so fast that chelvaric couldn’t follow anymore. He slashed two blades at one that was right coming to his face and it exploded in front of his face. chelvaric was blown back by the explosion and not long after a five combo hit of his slashes hit him right in the chest. He was feeling like he was burning from the inside. Chelvaric fell on his knees and smoke was coming out of his mouth.

“you won’t be able to keep up with my speed. Now lay down before I kill you accidentally with my weapons. The way of the warior shows respect and you will learn a lot when you admit you’re defeat.”, the man said calmly again as he waited for his opponent got up. He was a man of respect and wouldn’t attack when he was laying down. He just waited and looked how Chelvaric crawled up from the floor. Chelvaric was going ot have to step it up if he wanted to defeat this guy. He was very fast and everything but he had his weaknesses. Chelvaric stepped up and threw his hand on the floor. A white bright light was covering the man as his armor fell down. Chelvaric then ran closer to him. Trying to dodge as many of the sword slashes as he could. A couple hit him and he was in a tremendous pain but he had to go on.

“Demon Sky Trap!”, Chelvaric shouted and a circle of wind appeared around him. Because the samurai was standing still he got trapped in the wall of the trap. It started to rip at its armor and it got a good two hits on it before he was quick enough to draw his swords to destroy the wall. Chelvaric in the meantime had reached the man and threw one of his chain swords around the leg of the samurai. The samurai attacked Chelvaric again but this time Chelvaric threw the other end of the chain to the lightning and the man electrocuted himself. While he was being electrocuted he cross slashed the man with his swords. He then took his weapon back up and threw it in a star around the man.

“By Geratini’s judgment you shall bow!”, he shouted and the man was pressed on his knees. He couldn’t draw his swords. And Chelvaric jumped on him with full force. Hitting him in good successions. His hands were bleeding from the hits and they felt like they could break any moment. he ended the attack in another cross slash of his scimitars before they disappeared. Chelvaric was breathing heavenly as he saw a lot of parts of the armor breaking. But the man was strong so he had broken out of the star and slashed his swords at Chelvaric. He was getting multiple hits again before he could put his foot under his chain and throw it up to use it to defend himself.

What followed was a long fight of dealing sword slashes to each other. Chelvaric was more pushed in defense then attack at the start and he was giving it all he got. But with every second that passed a new cut appeared on his body. He was getting covered in blood and his strength was falling away. He had to finish this before he was down. Chelvaric could get some hits in at times. He was getting so tired of defending the eternal flood of blade slashes he felt on his knees to spare energy. The fight was intense and the the metal on metal was heard trough out the room. Both of the men were tired and they were breathing heavenly. But not one of them gave in to his tiresome. Chelvaric was starting to fail a bit more as more hits were coming through. But it was on the moment he was about to fall on the ground of exhaustment that he got the last hit in. his blade had made a cut over the body of the armor and not long after it started to crack totally. The cracks appeared over the whole body and not long after a metal breaking sound was heard. As the armor was now broke Chelvaric had to take his change. He pushed himself against the man with his back against the belly of the man and then pierced his swords trough both of their legs. He had tied himself to the man to make his next move. He then sucked in a good amount of air and a magical seal of ten yards appeared in front of them. He pointed it at the ground and screamed it out.

“Sky Demon Roar!”, the tornado of white widn flew against the ground but instead of just destroying a good portion of the ground it lifted them both up and slammed them against the wall behind them. it was a big hit and both got hit pretty hard. a big gap was in the wall where they had crashed and Chelvaric fell down with the swords being pulled out of the Enemies legs. He fell on his back and screamed it out of pain. He was on the verge of passing out but at least he had overcome the challenge. This time he was to down to make any celebration move.

The energy that had healed Chelvaric before did not come from the blood he drunk, which he now realised. No, it seemed to just naturally come as if the defeat of the mage triggered a healing spell. Chelvaric would now find himself fully restored and the samurai, as well as his armor, would of faded into non-existence with the exception of the skull which was golden in colour and glowed brightly. The second challenge had been passed. Once more the skull spoke.

"Well done cat. You have passed the second of the trials, but you have only just begun." the voice said, clearly Naraku's voice. She was trying to be all mystic and epic for the exam, which really wasn't her style, but from what she'd heard and read it was what was demanded at ceremonies like this. "His body faded, but his heart still full of blood remains. Drink your fill."

Once more the water behind Chelvaric, from where he had come, began to get rougher and slightly colder and the currents stronger, but this time it did not enter the room. He would have as much time as he needed to prepare. It would be interesting to see how he proceeded.

(When you get to the next room state a colour: (Blue, Light Blue, Purple, Green))

Chelvaric was looking at the man who was crushed in to the wall. But not for long as the man started to disappear and only the skull and the hearth fell down on the ground. Chelvaric had no idea where the man went but he didn’t really care as the healing wave was going through Chelvaric again. he felt great once again and was getting up to walk to the skull. Once she had reached it and when he picked it up it already started to talk. This time only Naraku’s voice was speaking. She sounds a bit different then she normally does. But then again this was something official and she was a guild master now.

She congratulated him but said it was only the start of the tests. And then gave him the opportunity to drink the blood of the heart. He smiled as she had thought of this. Well seems she cared a bit about this aspect of his fighting style at the least. Chelvaric walked over to the heart and picked up. He took a small sniff before he started eating it. the blood was really juicy and a little pinch of sweet and pepper. This time it seemed the water wasn’t going up anymore. So it was a good time to refresh a bit on magic power. He opened his mouth. And ate as much air as he could but not too much as he needed some to breath in this room of course.

After this he started to search for a way to get across the water again. he couldn’t use the rocks again as the water was getting more intense and colder. As he felt with his pinkie he jumped back as the water was even colder than last time. he had to go through it again. He sighed hard as he didn’t want to but he had no choice. He wanted to say it goes easier each time but it was the opposite. Each time he saw the water the more he got disgusted of it. but he didn’t had much choice did he. He didn’t want to use magic again for something like this so he inspected the room. There were a lot of closets and chairs and rope’s. maybe he should build something. Ah yes that would work!, he thought and he walked off.

He took the only closet that was made from wood and threw it on its side. He then took his swords and started to cut a hole in the sides of the closet. After this he walked to a chair and cut it in pieces. He took one of the legs and bound it to the back of a seat cushion. His improved paddle was made. He put them in the holes to check if they fit and then walked to the water. He laid the closet in the water and laid the boat in it. It floated at first so he putted some rocks in it so that it sank more.

He jumped in the closet and closed it. While he was going through the water it dripped inside of the closet but at least he wasn’t get completely. The whirled winds underwater pushed him back and against the rocks. But he lost his control over it and ended up floating around for a while till he reached a new entrance. This time it was a purple door that awaited him.

The purple door swung open of its own accord and from it a foul stench could be detected. It was the smell of things to come, the smell of poison. The purple room, a room where the floor was a dark purple rock and puddles of foul liquid covered the floor. Sitting a top a large rock, once more in a meditation like position was a man wearing just a pair of black tracksuit bottoms. What was striking about this man though was his purple skin. The man opened one eye and smiled. "Purity and Dilligence have fallen. I respect your strength Chelvaric." he said rising to his feet and extending an arm to one side. As he did so poison seeped from the pores of his skin and formed a sword. It was clear that this sword was solid like iron, but would poison if it cut. His magic was strange. It was like poison make, but rather than forming the poison in the air it was formed from within his body. "Your goal is to survive." The man said and then with a flick of his other hand launched three bullets of poison at Chelvaric charging behind them with his sword.

For an idea of what this guy is capable of in terms of his magic look up Coco from Toriko because that is basically who you are fighting. Again his attacks will do B rank damage, but if he hits you then you will be poisoned. The effects of the poison are up to you e.g. nausea, illness, disorientation, hallucination or even acidic. However, the more you get hit the more the poisons will take effect. He is a tough opponent.

Chelvaric walked over to the door as he was getting ready for his next battle. He wondered what laid behind the purple door. It was probably another hard test. It wouldn’t be easier than the others. No it probably was harder. Knowing Naraku she would have brought the best of the best together to test his skill. And in the meantime to train him to be more useful to her. If he would come out of these tests he would be trained to deal with a lot of different enemies. And he would have learned a lot of tricks with his magic. So in the end he would be a new and improved soldier. A fighter that would spread the word about how great Naraku is. And those that would not bow will be destroyed.

The door slammed open before Chelvaric even had reached it. The opponent seemed to know he was coming. As always they knew everything what he did. There was a foul stench coming from the room. With his improved smelling he nearly puked just because it was so stinking. It took some time before he was used to it as his stomach was turning around from that smell alone. Once he was getting more used to it he walked inside the room to start the battle. He wondered what kind of magic or fighting technique this one would use.

As he entered the room it was very different than the other ones. Instead of a normal square room it was now a square room but the floor was divided in smaller pieces and in-between there was some kind of purple goo flowing. It looked dangerous and he probably shouldn’t touch it. So he would have to be careful where he stepped and where he attacked the enemy. This wouldn’t be an easy fight but he had to pull it off some way. Oh he wanted to use rin so much now but that wouldn’t be good and she was sealed of any way. The man greeted him and respected his strength for beating up the two other enemies. He bowed for chelvaric as he started to form a sword on his arm from poison. The man only wore some pants and for the rest was pretty purple skinned. So he would be all poison based. As he had made the sword he said chel had to survive and then threw bullets at Chelvaric.

Chelvaric had been paying attention for some kind of first attack as they all did that. he jumped up and the bullets went under him. The man’s sword and Chelvaric’s chained swords clashed on each other in midair. Chelvaric didn’t waste time and made a flip hitting the head of the man. He fell down right in the ground and he let him fall down wards to hit the man full with his swords. The man had crushed in the floor and was just laying still. But that changed when Chelvaric was one yard way from him. The man crushed his fist together and shouted.

“Poison Make: Hedge Hog!”, the man had shouted and one yard long purple spikes shot out of his back. Chelvaric was too late to dodge it and he got hit through its shoulder and trough one of his legs with it. chelvaric screamed it out of the pain as he was stuck on it. the man let them disappeared and then jumped at chelvaric with his sword. He slashed Chelvaric right in the stomach and threw him away against the wall. Chelvaric crashed in the wall and his back felt like it was breaking. The man didn’t waste time and started to cast another spell.

“Poison make: Canon legs.”, the man shouted and not long after his legs started to change till it was an artillery like cannon on his underside body instead of the legs. The canon started to aim at chelvaric and the air from around the poison fields start to get sucked in the cannon. While it was charging chelvaric was looking up to it and he was trying to move. But the clap of the crash had made him impossible to move for a while. So he could only watch how the canon got charged and shot out to him. The ball of poison flew right into his chest and it exploded. The explosion was so harsh he flew through the room and landed on one of the rocks. He was in extreme pain and his body felt broke like he was punched I the floor time over time. but it seemed the man had took out a spell that was too harsh as he was blown back by the rocks also. He was shaking its head as he was a bit dizzied from the hits.

Chelvaric in the meantime was laying down with pain he never felt before. He was hard hit by that combo and was on the verge of being defeated. But the man was to dizzy to finish Chelvaric off at the moment so he started to suck in air. He could quickly heal him a bit so that he at least wouldn’t be defeated. As the air was being sucked in he could feel some of his wounds disappearing as they no longer affected his body. The poison was to high ranked to be undone by this heal but at least he cured a lot of the cut wounds and the piercing. Only his broken ribs he could still feel. He got up from the ground and looked at the man. But he had disappeared. Where did he went Chelvaric thought. He tried feeling his breathing but the problem was. He was getting a measuring from each poison puddle. It seems he had merged with the puddles. He couldn’t really attack all of them. so Chelvaric slowly walked to them.

Witch was another mistake he made. The puddle behind him shot the man out and he jumped with the sword to Chelvaric. It cut over Chelvaric’s shoulder and he landed in front of Chelvaric. He blocked the next attack just in time even if this hurt his ribs a lot. And then he tried to counter attack. The sword battle was a tuff one. As they both did dodges left and right and fake attacks to let the enemy make a mistake. But then Chelvaric could hit the man’s knee with a leg kick and he was about to strike him with his sword. When the man suddenly changed into Rin. He was so surprised that he was standing still looking at her not knowing why she was here.

“Poison make: Ball Of Spikes”, Rin shouted and her arm changed to a ball that hit Chelvavric right on the shoulder. He flew backwards and skipped over the ground. Run didn’t use poison make what was this. This shouldn’t be happening right now. he got up breathing heavenly from all the hits he took. He looked at Rin and didn’t know why she attacked him. But she wasn’t alone anymore Miu had appeared next to her.

“why did you leave us boss. Why did you join the demon dogs you betrayed us and I trusted you so much. This only calls from punishment by execution. ”, the both said as one. Chelvaric was startled by it and didn’t know what to do while they got closer. Why were they here. why were they accusing him of something he didn’t do. This was getting strange. And why were they here in the middle of a fight. He just couldn’t figure it out. they had walked closer and rin striked again with the spike ball. Chelvaric jumped backwards and could dodge it just in time. he landed on his feet but fell on his knee from the pain of the broken ribs.

The pain made him pinch his eyes close and he opened them again. the two girls were gone and only they guy was standing there. But after a second the girls appeared again. he should have known it. it was an illusion of the poison. This enemy was clever and used tricks it seemed. Chelvaric ran to him and opened the comports of his swords. With his wind magic he blew smoke out of it so that ten yards was covered in it. Chelvaric knew where the guy was but the guy didn’t know where he was. He appeared in the back of the man and stabbed him a couple of times before he disappeared again. the man shouted but he wasn’t done yet.

“poison make Thompson guns!”, the man shouted and his arm’s changed to two Thompson guns. He started to shoot out in all direction and the bullets flew around in full range. It would have hit Chelvaric if he didn’t use the second functionality of the smoke. He became wind and appeared above the man. He jumped down and cut off both of the arms of the man. He rolled over the floor and took the guns up. And started to shoot at the man. He turned around while screaming and made a poison turtle shield on his back. The bullets rioted off but now that he was like this he stopped shooting and teleported in front of the man. He putted his hand on his chest and casted his spell.

“Sky Demon Push!”, a burst of air pushed the man back for ten yards and Chelvaric used his last teleport to appear behind the man. He threw the chain around the man’s neck and then threw the swords up in full force. The man was stuck in the ceiling and the man was slowly choking while his arms bleed badly from being cut off. He tried to untie the chains but he had only stomps of arms instead of actually arms. he hung like that for a couple of minutes before he finaly stopped moving. Chelvaric didn’t show any remorse for somebody who made him see things like that. he was beat again. but a bit less then the other times because of his heal. He would get a heal in a bit again and he hoped it came soon as the room suddenly was full of his old spirits. And he was nearly going insane of anger by seeing his dead spirits.

The heal this time was not immediate. It was almost as if Naraku wanted him to deal with the poison and its various effects for a short while.

"Immunities must be developed." the skull said in the voice of Naraku as once more the flesh melted away into nothingness and the skull glowed the colour of the room, a vivid purple. "Well done wild cat. You have completed your third task, but remember three more remain before you even get to the actual test." The heal had occured as she spoke about immunities so now Chelvaric was once more at full fighting strength. The water strangely decided to go from icy cold, which Chelvaric had likely adapted to to warm. Yet it was now rougher and spikes had formed along the walls making it more dangerous. "Maybe when you finish you will no longer fear and hate the water...for fear of water is hatred of part of yourself."

Chelvaric fell back on his back as he was exhausted from the fight. He wasn’t healed yet for some reason that was odd. Normally he was healed the instant he won the fight. Well maybe she was testing him with something or she was doing something else. It’s not like he couldn’t handle this. Well he hoped he could handle this. No no he could handle this. There was no place for doubt in his mind. He had to be clear and ready for anything to happen. This was an exam after all. At least this time he didn’t have to fly like a fly to the tip of a nose of a big ass demon.

“tss little kitty what are you sitting here all alone. Come with me and I’ll release you from all this trouble. This test is not something you need just come along with me and I’ll give you your salvation.”, a voice said near his ear. Chelvaric looked up and a small green dog was sitting near him. His back was covered in spikes and his mouth moved while the words were spoken. Chelvaric didn’t even think he slashed towards the dog but he just hit air as the dog disappeared.

“now now violence won’t get you anywhere. Won’t you rather join your god in death. Anyway my time is up I shall see you maybe later HAHAHAA”, the dog said as he had appeared near his ear. Chelvaric turned around again but he was disappeared. As the voice of Naraku already comes out of the skull. She was talking about immunity. So it was the poison who had made him hallucinate once more. He really had to watch out for them as they seemed to bring his mind on places he better not went.

"Maybe when you finish you will no longer fear and hate the water...for fear of water is hatred of part of yourself.", where the last word’s Naraku said as she disappeared. Chelvaric took the skull from the ground and pulled his swords out of the ceiling. He had to swim once again. and this time maybe he should take Naraku’s words to his mind and they to swim like normal people. It’s not like he was jumping for it. But it could prove useful in the future. He shook his head cursed some words and went to the water. He stared in it for a couple of minutes before he touched it slowly with his toe. He was excepting colder water but now it was hot water. Ah he hated this. The wet feeling made a shiver over his back. tough the warm water felt better. What did he say? It seems it was already having its effect on his thoughts about water. Hmm Naraku’s ways were hard but they were effective. He took a deep breath and jumped in the water. He was making a sour face as he was trying to get forward with his arms. He was twitching like a fish on the dry and at first he didn’t really get forward. But then he flattened his arms on his side and tried moving like an eel trough the water.

It didn’t work at all of course and he couldn’t get forward. So he started to use his arms more like the people he saw swimming in the swimming pools when he passed them in cities. Yes he felt some sorrow he couldn’t get into the fun of those people. But then again how could you have any fun In this freaking water. He was drifting toward the spikes and a little bit sweat was forming on his forehead. Wait could that even happen? Chelvaric had no idea but it felt like that. Before he was going to be spiked on a wall he finally got the swimming and he got forward. He took the next tunnel and swum through it. and finally went on shore. The door that awaited him was light blue. A new challenge waiting.

As Chelvaric opened the door he was confronted with a icy wind, which was all the more effective due to the warmth his body had generated from the warm water. It was a piercing cold that would set him to shivering. Entering the room he would find a woman who was almost completely naked apart from bandages over her quite ample breasts and a white loincloth. In her hand was a harpoon, a fishing spear. She raised an eye quizzically at Chelvaric. "Why are you shivering Chelvaric? It is lovely and warm in here." she said with a confused tone of voice and then shrugged.


"Purity, Dilligence and Temperance have fallen. Did you know that Temperance could of killed you at any point, but he held back. Part of his nature...and anyway her majesty told him to focus on hallucinogenics" she said and then spun the spear and the wind grew colder and it became almost a cutting wind. However, it also caused icicles to extend from the icy walls forming spikes. She did not attack though. "Attack when you are ready."

Chelvaric was entering through the door as he had another challenge to do. The fourth one was commencing. He already had three skulls on his belt hanging. As he opened the door an ice cold wind flew onto his body. He just swum In the hot water making the cold even stand out more. He was freezing his ass of as he walked through the door. This cold reminded him of his first exam to the rank of c. When he was riding ice glaciers to pass it then. Compared to this that test was easy pie.  Still it was pretty cold and he was shaking a little bit as he entered the room.  There was a woman standing in the center of the room. She was wearing nearly nothing. Only some cloth around her breasts and a loin cloth. Chelvaric pinched his nose close as it was a bit bleeding from the sight.  The girl in the meantime just was shaking her head in disbelief that he was shivering from the cold.


"Purity, Dilligence and Temperance have fallen. Did you know that Temperance could of killed you at any point, but he held back. Part of his nature...and anyway her majesty told him to focus on hallucinogenic", she said as she spun around her spear making an ice cold wind. It went through Chelvaric’s clothes and was freezing his body. Spikes were forming at the walls just from the coldness.  This was a ice cold woman it seemed. And for a first time she didn’t attack straight away. She laid her spear on her shoulder and waved her hand in a movement to make Chelvaric do the first move.

He walked calmly around her as he was searching for an opening or at least a place where he could jump in and could defeat her. She was still jst standing there following him with her eyes. Well she truly wasn’t a bad one to look at. He joked in side as he started to make faint charge moves. But she never moved an inch. This was getting frustrating for him and not frustrating for her. he didn’t had a choice anymore and he started to charge in on full speed. While he was trying to do that he had troubles with it as the floor was pretty slippy and he had to move slower then he wanted.  As he reached her she just jumped back wards like she was teasing him. She was quick even over the ice as she moved like she was a ice-skater.


“ice flying fish barrage!”, she called out and out of nothing a dozen of fish with wings appeared. They were flying strait at chelvaric with a big speed.  He waited for them to come and just when they would hit he jumped up to dodge them. He was successful and dodged most of them but when he fell back down to land on his legs everything went wrong. He touched the ice and limitedly slipped away. And what was more half of the flying fish had returned and hit him right on his body. He could feel the hard ice bodies of the fish hitting all different places of his body. If he would fight longer on the ice surface he was going to lose. But first he needed a bit of a time span to do what he needed to do. He pushed himself off over the ice surface and slide towards the girl.

“Cats like fish so give me some more pretty woman.”, Chelvaric shouted as he slide under her. he kicked up but she already had jumped away. She moved her hand up and Chelvaric was pushed up In the air by the ice under him. Not much later two extra ice pillars were trying to flatten him between them. but he could push him off from the pillar underneath him and just got above the two pillars as they crashed into each other. Chelvaric fell on the pillars and then jumped off again to the place where the girl was. He was starting to form air around his hands while he was flying at her.

“Sky demon claw’s!”, he shouted as he neared her position. Trying to claw at her but she just moved her hand up and a wall of ice rose in front of her. His claw’s hit it and both got shattered in pieces. Her spear nearly hit him as she slashed forward. He could just dodge it in time. well not realy dodge it more fall flat on his face because of the ice and glide under her. she spinned her spear around and hit the ground with it.

“Ice-Make Ocutpus Spinner”, at the moment she had shouted that she jumped of the pillar and the pillar of ice started to change. Arms broke free from it and the top of it started to swell up. Not much later a three yard high octopus had appeared and it grabbed Chelvaric. He was stuck in the grip of it and the girl had flown a bit further to take her aim. While the octopus was pulling at his arms. they were stretching out and it hurt a lot. He couldn’t really do anything to get out at the moment. since it was ice his spells wouldn’t cut it up in the best case. The girl was standing a bit further and her spear started to be covered in ice and spikes appeared on the edges of it. When she was done with it she threw it to Chelvaric from afar. The spear was coming in at a fast rate and Chelvaric couldn’t do anything. Well that’s what the thought at first. But then he looked to his sides and saw his feather armbands.

How could he forget those. He lifted up the feathers and shot them out to the octopus arms the first hit of all the feathers that sliced the ice wasn’t good enough to cut it through. While they were flying back the spear was thrown and was nearing Chelvaric’s face. if that thing hit him full he would be dead.  As the feathers just in time to cut the arms he felt backwards. The spear ripped open the flesh of his chest and made a scar over his eye by one of the spikes on it as it crashed into the octopus scattering it in pieces. He fell on the ground and around him scattered pieces of ice falling on the ground. Now was the time to get off this ice death trap. He placed his hands on the ground and not much later wings came out of his back. not that the girl wasn’t doing anything she came rushing at Chelvaric and made movements with her arms again. another attack was coming. He had to get up as quick as possible. That spear may not have hit him fully but the pain in his chest was still big. It was bleeding badly and he wouldn’t hold out long if they didn’t do a thing about it. As he was jumping up to fly away the girls attack was done.

“Ice Whale Crush!”, she shouted and the ground started to move as a big as whale jumped to Chelvaric. He wouldn’t be able to dodge this giant. As he started to breath in air the whale nearly was at his location. the ten yard big circle appeared in front of Chelvaric and once again the scream was going to be unleashed. But this time more in defense then attack. The whale opened its mouth and half swallowed Chelvaric already.

“Sky demon scream!”, Chelvaric shouted as he busted the wind against the side of the whale. It started to crack and not much later it bursted through the stomach right to the girl. She had to jump up to dodge and that was perfect for Chelvaric as he flew right against her in the air. He kicked her up and started to form chain saw next to him. She punched her hands together and shot a shark out to Chelvaric. It bit his leg hard but at the same time he was done with his spell. It was crushing it under is pressure and Chelvaric screamed it out while he kicked it with his other leg. He tried to focus and threw the chain saws to the girl.

“Sky Demon chain saw!”, while the saws flew he kicked the shark from its leg nearly ripping his under leg of. He flew right at her. and while she tried to summon some walls to protect her from the saw she was too late and it ripped one in her chest and one on her leg. Her bands on her chest were ripped open and she lost all her clothing in one go. This made her blush for the moment and stunned her in place. Chelvaric appeared above her and started to hit her in the face a couple of times and then grabbed his chain swords and bound her arms. he grabbed her and started to fly faster as he could while spinning his nose was bleeding again but yeah who wouldn’t seeing that. He was also near tears from the pain tough. While the ice mage got more dizzy he went as high as he could in the room and freefall crashed her in the ground. A dust cloud appeared above the crash and not long after Chelvaric landed next to her.

She was knocked out not defeated. His air advantage had won the battle. Tough his leg was nearly completely tore off and his chest bleeding. He felt on the ground again and waited for the heal to come.

The skin faded away from the woman, followed by the muscle, and the sinew till all that was left was bone. Soon after the skull rose up into the air and the rest of the bone faded away. The skull glowed bright blue and rather than looking at Chelvaric it was looking at the body. "It seems the dissolving magic is less effective in the cold...I will have to tell the kugeki to work on that." Naraku's voice said before the skull turned to Chelvaric. "Well done panther. You are over halfway only three more to go." Then the heal came restoring Chelvaric to full strength. Once more the water heated. It was not just below the amount to scald the skin, but would feel hotter due to the cold of the room. More spikes were generated and the currents grew stronger. Fortunately for Chelvaric the other rooms all had locked themselves off after he left thus preventing him being washed back. Of course, this also made things more dangerous.

Same as before

Chelvaric was getting the heal again and his body started to recover. The flesh of his leg swung out to the other part of his leg and it closed it up. It was some awesome healing she got there. He wondered where and who acquired that. Maybe he could go to that person and study it with her or him. Some extra heals would never hurt to aquire. He walked to the body and was a bit sad he had to kill a beautiful girl like that. Especially if she could make nice fishes as that. Naraku said her usual words again but this time praised him a bit more. And that was being seen from Chelvaric’s face as it was radiating of proud from her words. He was nearly done with the swimming so now was not the time to back off.  He took the light blue skull and added it to his belt. Four skulls were hanging on his belt and were making noise as they hit each other when he moved.


 Two more fights till he was ready to open the door. He stretched out and walked to the water. His wings were still out so he could use it in the swimming. He hated the water still but the fear was lessened. He put his foot in first again and pulled it back as the water felt really hot. Probably because it was so cold here and the water was warm. He had no time to back off. He was getting impatience a bit. He wanted his new power and this water wouldn’t stop him anymore. He maybe hated it but he didn’t fear it as much anymore. God he could even swim now. That was a miracle on itself. He jumped in and started to swim. At start he could swim forward but the water flow was too strong. He then had to use his wings to get further. Problem they were too big and each time he felt them half pierced on the spikes. It hurt like hell but he had to pull trough. He slowly advanced and took one of the last tunnels. He finaly got in the tunnel and this time a green door was awaiting him.

As Chelvaric entered the green room it was obvious that this was no ordinary room. It seemed much bigger than the others for one and it was a forest, so was more crowded then before. Yet what was strange was that each of the trees was completely green of one shade or another and each of them seemed to be breathing like humans disturbing the air. A voice echoed from around them.

"Kindess did you some damage...and now you have faced the last battle before the final one." the voice said strangely earthy. "Your test this time is to find me...you will not smell me, you will not sense me with your air. You must use your eyes further then before to find me and believe me...my camouflage is at least as good as her majesty's" the voice explained and all the trees rustled at once. "Oh...and once you've found me you'll have to catch me."

1500 words. Find this guy who is basically a chameleon as in he will blend in with anything and everything in the room. On top of that he is very fast, smells just like the trees and will have synced his breathing with these strange trees. He is visible...just...but only if you really look hard.

Chelvaric entered the fifth room that was totally different to the other rooms again. it was completely covered in trees and plants. The green room was called so because it was a room of plants it seemed. Would his opponent use plant magic he wondered. He never had fought somebody before with plant magic so that would be very good to learn about it. he looked around for a bit but nowhere there was a opponent to be seen. Did he run late or something Chelvaric tough as he set his foot in to the building. It was that moment that a voice started to echo through the room. Between the tree’s that all were completely green.

"Oh...and once you've found me you'll have to catch me.", after this it went silent and only a small wind was making sound as it went through the forest.

So he had to find someone that couldn’t be smelled sensed our plainly see. This was going to be a long and slow process of tearing into each corner or place that are here. it was going to take a long time. but first to test if his breathing really was blended into the jungle. Chelvaric emptied his mind and tried to sense anything out of the ordinary. But it was not only that he couldn’t find the man. No the whole forest breath as one. He would impossibly use this to track the guy down. he sighed and stopped the sensing as it didn’t work anyway. well he would mindlessly walk around the jungle and try to find him if he was stupid. But Chelvaric had to take a more direct route to find the person he was searching for. As he walked through the forest he tried to look at the trees one by one to see if he could see the person in any way. But to be honest if he was so good as Naraku this was going to be very hard.

He was running through the forest while he was trying to get a clear view over it. he had to find this guy or girl but this forest was big he first needed to make some kind of map in his head. It wasn’t a good idea to just be searching around like a chicken without a head.  He started to climb in one of the trees as a higher place would be good. While he climbed up he was thinking if this person was a nature mage. Seeing he uses trees and stuff like this. For some reason he was always been attracted to earth. Ironically seeing he was a sky mage. Maybe the favors was against him in his magic teachers. Well now wasn’t the time to be bothering about that. As he reached the top of the tree he was looking over it to see what he could find. It looked like the room was around 20 yards high and stretched 10 miles far and was 8  miles wide.  How did she get a room this big under the castle he had no clue. He had wondered about this after each fight. She got her hands on some dangerous mages and on these rooms. It looked like she had some kind of power on her fingers that he didn’t know about. Well he never ahd doubted she was strong. But still he hadn’t expected this.

Now back to the task at hands finding the person he needed and then to catch him. He memorized the area around him and jumped back to the ground. Well the big task was up on hands now. And that was to touch every tree. Chelvaric was feeling the first trees but bark was the only thing he was feeling. And this went on for a couple of hours and had covered half of the forest when he started to hear something. It was a very quiet forest but that one squeezing sound of leaves being crushed under a foot. The man was moving since Chelvaric was getting close. He had to go after him before he would get in came again. Chelvaric started to run through the forest as he couldn’t let him loose. Chelvaric saw a flash of a green running through the green trees. He started to sprint as fast as he could. But the man was fast and he was blinking in and out of view whenever he saw him. Chelvaric had to do something to don’t lose him so he jumped to a tree and aimed to the location of the man running. He placed his hand on the tree bark and shouted the words.

“sky demon push”, he shouted and he the air pressure shot hit the tree bark. It back fired as Chelvaric was being thrown back wards for ten yards but that was the thing he wanted to do. As he landed near the man he didn’t waste a moment and threw his highest ranking debuf on the ground. The man started to glow as the debuf had hit him.  Now the man wouldn’t be able to cover him his cameo as he was bright shimmering with light. he could hear the man curse as he started to run away. Chelvaric was running after him as he still needed to catch him. The man was quick and he ran through the trees zigging. Chelvaric tried to sprint faster but he had to duck a lot of tree’s as he needed to turn a lot.

Chelvaric was slowly coming closer to the mage and the mage was getting more desperate. He started to use the trees to his advantage. As suddenly they started to fall toward chelvaric. He rolled underneath some falling trees.  As he was nearly being crushed under them. it was getting very heated as even roots started to shoot out of the ground to constrict him in place. Chelvaric didn’t want to be caught in them so he jumped to the trees and jumped from tree to tree like a cat. They were falling and it was a huge trembling of the ground as they fell on it. the whole room was falling down nearly and he jumped over the tree that he was supposed to be landing on. He cursed as this was harder then he thought. The were nearing the location of the biggest tree and Chelvaric was getting inpatient. He couldn’t run forever and the debuf would fall off after some time so he had to take him before that happened.

He started to cast his chain saws as he had a plan for catching the man. As they were casted the man started to increase the rate of falling tree’s to chelvaric. As it looked like he was dancing trough evading falling tree’s coming around him. Sometimes rolling under, other times jumping over. When the chain saws were spinning he looked at the trees in front of the man and he threw his chainsaws.

“Sky Demon Chainsaw!”, chelvaric shouted and the saws flew toward the man. The man just smiled and jumped up to evade them. but chelvaric just smiled when he did that. and the man was a bit startled as why he would smile at a dodge. The chainsaws both cut down a tree at each of the sides of the man and they fell down. the man didn’t expected this but he wasn’t so easly defeated he stopped and breached two gigantic roots out of the ground to block them. and that was what chelvaric needed to close in. he sprinted to the man with everything he had and in the end slided toward the mage kicking him down with his feet. The man fell down and the camouflage stopped working. Chelvaric looked at the man and he saw something not even looking human. It had a humanoid form but it skin was more of a lizard and the eyes were big and yellow looking in all directions. His feet were in the ground and he didn’t really had feet. He wore clothes made from flower leaves and climbing plants on its body. Chelvaric was exhausted from the long run and he shouted his lungs out.

“I CAUGHT HIM. One more to go and then I can finally start on my test. I shall prove my strength naraku. And I hope I can become useful to you.”, he said to the rock ceiling. How the heck did these trees grow here actually. Was his last thought before he fell in a cat sleep.

The actual process of the body vanishing like before took slightly longer this time and when the heal came as the skull spoke the voice sounded kinda sleepy. The skull this time was a luminous green.

"Huh...you finished? I mean...well done jaguar you have completed the fifth test." the voice said once more. "Only one more remains before you face the true challenge, which will test you on everything you have learned today."

This time the water went completely still and it returned to luke warm temperature. There was nothing dangerous or hazardous about it. Or so it appeared. However, rather than increase the danger of the water she had increased the danger of what was in the water. Now Chelvaric would have to be fast as creatures swam in the water.
