Phylactery's are ancient artifacts with a long, and varied past. Some are used by liches to gain immortality, others are bound to hold dark spirits. When finding such an artifact, one can never be quite sure what it is they have discovered. This artifact, looking ancient to a trained eye, seems to glow with unseen light, one which can be felt more than seen. The artifact, made by a great mage still holds his power ... and soul.

Plot Abilities:
- Echoes of the Past - While examining the stone, it might suddenly change color and shape causing a vivid flash of memory to assault the wearer. These flashes reveal secrets and gift the user with hidden insight. This ability can show what the user desires, with some caveats. They can not learn OOC information, or IC information about another player, event NPC, or player-owned NPC without expressed OOC permission.
- Lonely Soul - Suddenly, the stone on the necklace will glow with a bright and vibrant color. A voice will ring out, introducing itself as Archmage Darius Stormborn, eldest of the great line, and last remaining heir. At least ... that's who he used to be.
The voice is free to be used in thread, and talked to at will just like any NPC, and is considered owned by the wearer.
