What Kiersa briefly witnessed inside the beasts tentacles would haunt her dreams and nightmares for quite some time to come. Rows upon rows of teeth, blood dripping everywhere... her one idea for how she could possibly even try to be of help to the others would have backfired stupendously had it not been for the mages dealing with the beast and causing its tentacles to remove themselves from her.

Capricorn found her and took her to a safe location atop a nearby buildings rooftop as she stood there for a moment in shock, the horrors of the beasts internals playing out across her vision even as a tsunami was bearing down on them. The tsunami of course was taken out by the rest of the mages that had gathered here to take down the titanic monster that had threatened Fiore, and the blonde armoured nun slowly came back to her senses, looking around at the devastation that had been wrought.

She went down to her knees and clasped her hands together. Whilst she may not be much of a combat mage, she knew that there would be those around here, mage and non-mage alike that would no doubt be in pain or hurt after this ordeal... and that was something that she could do something about. "Stigmata of the Martyr." the Paragon of Selflessness invoked, a pulse of divine light spreading out from her body to the surrounding area, enveloping all those it touched.

Their wounds would begin to heal, their aches and pains would fade away... all of their injuries they had suffered would be as if they had never been. Instead, they would now appear on Kiersa herself, who gritted her teeth as her flesh opened up in several places from the cuts and gashes many had suffered. Her bones began to break in other locations from those that had suffered from a fall or some other damage. All the while, the Golden Key Spirit of the Zodiac Capricorn watched over her protectively, preparing to guard her from any threat that tried to present itself during her vulnerable state.

    Stigmata Of The Martyr:

Minh was surprised when his attack on the giant beast did nothing more than barely break the surface of this massive eye like smashing into some kinda liquid, and he wondered how everyone was going to be able to take down a titan of this size. Even the crushing shaking of the attacks happening below him on this thing's chest was almost minuscule compared to it which was why he was incredibly suspicious once it started to fall. A thundering collapse forced Minh to brace himself against the force of the impact into the water, and he stood on the face of the before moving down the face to the neckline with Cheepie flapping along. Now begins another long task of cleaning this mess up to some degree, but for a pair of individuals with almost endless endurance, it will be done as timely as possible.

"Tear off the head first, we will take care of the rest of the body. Looks like a long week or so ahead of us little buddy."

Cheepie would cheep in response before transforming into a forty feet tall primal beast of the past with a dual-cannon turret on its back that spun downwards before concentrated beams of energy started to blast into the neck. Over and over, the beams would come near constantly as the former bird took its limited time cutting along the neckline to begin the slow process of dismembering the massive body. Minh was also helping with immense strength as he started to attempt pulling sections of the neck from the body where it was already shot through by Cheeptor. By his estimates, he would probably take several hours to fully complete this task alone much less the whole body that at this point was already falling apart somewhat. The reason for this was only to avoid any chance of some dark energy bringing this thing back from death, and if at the very least, make it very hard to piece the damn monstrosity whole. This was a job to be done, and if there were any poisons or organic taint, he would be the least likely to be affected as he starts to use himself like a jack down along the neckline. Cheepie will be having a rough time as he was going to expend a nice chunk of energy over these long hours going back and forth from his bestial form to utilize the weapon to effectively cut the fleshy mass apart.

So it seemed that the creature had not been worthy of fighting him in combat after all. Before he could even get close enough to strike at the body of the false god it was falling into the water, a massive wave coming forth as the aftermath. A massive dragon was summoned to stop it, seeming to be controlled by the flying man from earlier if he was not mistaken. ”He would make a worthy fighter to worship me, or a grand fight if he were to refuse. For now there are other things to deal with!” Right now he had cowards to deal with! Even with the beast having fallen there were people still running in terror from all that was going around them. How could such cowards exist in this world? And why were they allowed to live without cause? It was against what he wanted for these people, whom he had given a chance already. Now they would simply just die for no reason, solely because they were sinners and heretics that had no courage.

Screams of the 'innocent' were drowned out from those that were not his targets. People drowning, being killed by other monsters in the black water, and those falling prey to the destruction around them making the same screams and noises as those culled by him and his pet. First there were three more he cleaved apart, much like the sole tentacle as he had begun his charge at the supposedly dead creature. After that he went much more liberal in the range of his bloodshed; as if he felt no effects from the less weaker skills he had at his disposal. One person tried to grasp onto him, to plead for his life, and found himself stabbed with a multitude of blood spikes that had erupted from the mans every pore. Most would look at him sickened and wondering how he could handle such pain, and causing such pain. To him it was merely a prick, nothing a god such as himself had to worry about. Another found a blade hitting their neck while two others met their fate at the paws of the Sight of Suicide; torn to shreds without the need of the massive set of teeth.

”Those that fight with me, even against just these cowards, and stay with me to the end will find my favor and strength!” Many nearby heard his words, two teenaged boys even coming out with swords to come running towards him. Unsure as to what their intentions were, as he could not read minds, he waited until one stopped at each side of him and went into a supportive combat stance before he went back to fighting. Another two worshipers unto his name, a good day for battle indeed.

Even as the many mages watched the mighty titan fall, even as they combated his wave, moved to battle lesser threats, to save the citizenry, to heal wounds and deal with crisis around the city, expending their magic and wounding themselves, even as they thought the world saved and the mighty beast fallen, a dark and forboding power would wash over the entire city, like a wave of hostility and terror, digging deep into the souls of all gathered. Even the mighty wizard saints, so bold in their power, even the holy clerics, the darkest of dragons, the mighty warriors, the gods of blood, the technological geniuses in their airships, all of them would feel it, deep in their souls. Gargalrax had come full, and his presence was beyond belief.

A wash of power flooded over the city, energy ad life force renewed into the behemoth that had fallen. No, not within the behemoth, but beneath it! Even as so many watched in likely awe, two massive breaks in the water would appear, miles long, hundreds if not thousands of feet wide, with jagged mountain ranges along the edges and curving, with the behemoth in the center of them. As the seemingly massive ranges of mountains, curving in nature, began to rise, and oddly close, it would dawn on those watching just what they were seeing. The closing of jaws around a punctured tongue.

The beast would continue to rise as it closed its jaws, scales the size of towers gleaming in the setting sun, water cascading from its closing jaws as if the ocean itself was emptying. It was enormous, its size defying belief. It was as if an island had come to life and risen from the sea with the sole purpose of crushing Hargeon. The beast continued to rise, its absolutely massive head and body, shaped like an ungodly large bullet, with a rounded snout and a massive, rounded body, with two massive legs attached to it. The beast would rise higher, higher, and some how even higher still into the air, mile after mile of massive body rising up high. before the massive body would begin to topple, its huge body blotting out the sun as its body plummeted down to catch itself on the land, its legs catching its weight. But the sheer impact from the legs sent out shockwaves like nothing seen before, two massive craters forming under the feet, hundreds of feet deep and wide, flattening buildings over a mile in either direction and sending people flying. But perhaps the worst part of the beast, worse than its size, worse than that sickening, other worldly feel to its magical presence, worse than the sheer awe it likely inspired in so many, was what was all along its body. Tentacles, thousands and thousands of tentacles, belching forth from massive mouths all along the beasts gigantic form, streaming down to the city in swarms of varying sizes. Some were small, no more than a few inches thick, but incredibly long with row after row of razor sharp teeth along the edges, swooping down to snatch up civillains and bury the teeth into their flesh, yanking them back up into the jaws. Others were massive, hundreds of feet across with stone colored scales across the back and massive, crushing suckers along the bottom, striking down to smash entire avenues into rubble. Even as the tentacles smashed along, the massive creature would begin moving, one gigantic leg rising as the beast slid forward, further onto land, its body rising more out of the ocean, where even more of its flesh was hidden in the waves, which were rushing in in gigantic waves to fill the space its body had left behind. Gargalrax, his true form, was coming ashore, and who could imagine the destruction he would bring.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
The mighty dragon stood on all four of its colossal limbs quite proudly at the work both it and others had accomplished. In spite of it all, the beast was defeated, and a majority to the threat of its wave thwarted. One option for the dragon and its master now was to help those on dry land defeat the remaining followers of the monster, or even just leave and call it a day. Of course the second option was out of the question for their righteous nature. On the creature's back, the Black Devil stood up to his feet, attempting to retain its balance, and started to make its way across Nidhogg's back towards his neck. "Is it over?" He inquired of his partner, to which Nidhogg responded telepathically so that no other being could eavesdrop on their conversation. Seems to be that way. Laughing a little bit to himself, which sounded quite evil given his form--though it was not intended to be that way, the Black Devil once again collapsed, sitting down near the neck of the Nephalem Dragon. His form was still retained, but his Magic Power has a whole was quite exhausted and worn out. He needed some time to recover, and at the moment it seemed fortunate that the big boss had gone down and there didn't seem to be an immediate threat for the Black Devil and the dragon.

Gazing out towards the horizon, the mighty beast took several steps forward before giving a few flaps of his wings, taking off into the air and flying straight out. The purpose of this was so that the dragon could gain momentum and speed, and then make a turn back to dry land, making it a much less arduous landing if he did not do so. Flying only several hundred meters above the sea's level. Just before the dragon had made its return trip, however, there came an enormous magical pressure from seemingly out of no where. Stopping in its flight with its limbs curled up slightly and its wings flapping against the sea, the dragon turned itself in place, and looked out towards Hargeon's bay. On the dragon's neck, the Black Devil, taking in deep breaths to help assist in his body's recovery of Magic, could feel it. "Nidhogg...you...you think...?" The dragon nodded, and started to hone its claws and grind its teeth in preparation. "Definitely...it's not over yet." Both the dragon and the Devil watched from quite a far away distance as the enormous beast rose up straight from the sea, even more massive than before--than imaginable. Needless to say, in spite of its extremely intimidating appearance, the Black Devil and the Nephalem Dragon were quite unimpressed.

Cross his arms, still breathing heavily, the Black Devil shook his head while the dragon did the same. "Just how over the top can this thing get? Nidhogg, you're going to need to handle this for a bit. I need to regenerate. Once I do, we'll do this together." It seemed like dragons, especially one as lifeless looking as the Nephalem Draggon, could hardly make emotions, but there was a clear cut smirk spread across the face of Nidhogg. "Understood, partner! Hang on tight!" Clenching its claws down and grinding its fangs, Nidhogg gave a hefty flap of its mighty wings, and skyrocketed straight to the sky. Shortly afterwards the beast accelerated forward, much higher above the sea this time, at quite a bit of speed. Nidhogg did not go as fast as he could, since he knew his master was still there lingering on his back in a weakened state, and would have to take that into consideration when flying.

The advantage Nidhogg had currently was that the beast was not facing it, and was bound towards dry land. It even had legs this time. Imagine that... Nidhogg let out a brief roar of its own as it closed in on the beast, the size of it was quite minuscule in comparison, but that wouldn't stop it at all. Not stopping for even a moment, the dragon--very similar to his master in his initial attack--rocketed straight for the beast so that once it arrived, it could unleash as much physical strikes as it could. It was a shame that it used its roar to stop the wave earlier, and a shame that its master was currently out of Magic Power, but all of that would recover in due time.

Standing at the edge of his ship, he held one of the ropes tight. Staring down at the water, he could not shake this odd feeling. The water reeked of dead fish, something he imagined would affect this sea for a long time to come. He was glad they had beaten the monster, but it was not the only threat. Celica, bring her over the city. As the ship moved closer and closer to the city, the wind rushed through his thick brown locks. Fire and determination in his eyes, the bright orange orbs shifted across the city, until something prompted his ears to twitch. Turning around, he could hear it. And within seconds, he could see it. Rising from the sea, was a creature. It was the god being they had fought before, but it was growing. Reaching such a size and causing such mayhem, that the black sun began to shake and rattle. Immediately moving out of range, or at least as far as it could, the ship could not stop the ripping of wood and steel from certain parts of it's hull. Ardere held tight, ducking inside of the ship. Standing up, ready for battle, he sucked in the flames from Celica's body once again, to begin to fill himself up. It was not a high amount, but it was something. Within seconds, a demon far larger than before was upon the city. For the first time in his entire life, his heart sank to his feet. The fire inside of him began to swell, as Lernaea entered the fray. The rather large hydra took no time in entering the battle against an enemy it knew it could not defeat, but fortunately Deniel's dragon companion was there to help. The hydra flew up to the beast, exhaling a massive amount of pure energy right up the center mass of the creature. Each head unleashed a beam, forming together to create one massive blast. The pure energy emitting an intense heat and bright light, it was a hundred meters in length and with a great speed. His hydra was quite intelligent, smart enough to dodge any oncoming tentacles, and it knew to launch it's attack right up center mass, frying as many tentacles as it could manage.

But his nine headed companion did not stop there, along with it's beam, it would flap it's massive scaled wings like a bird or even a dragon would. Unleashing a massive wave of wind, it attempted to disperse the tentacles it had opened up, hopefully creating somewhat of a hole inside, if at all possible. Ardere and his phoenix did not sit back and relax while this occurred, in fact that went in with the hydra. Tilting the ship as it flew past the beast at an incredible speed, napalm bombs scattered across the skin of the beast, igniting it. The fortunate thing about napalm for the fire mage, was that it was next to impossible to get off. It stuck right to the skin, igniting the surface. Melting almost like hot oil, this explosion of napalm was equivalent to an A ranked explosion in terms of size and damage. Leaping off of the ship, he used the remaining time he had with his sword abilities to slash up it's chest while landing upon the center head of his hydra. He leaped off of the beast and onto one of the large tentacles, allowing his flying companion to use all of it's heads to bite at the massive monster with all of it's might, flying around it to avoid any counter attack. They had chosen quite the high altitude to avoid a wave, but if they didn't give it all they had, all would be lost. The mages fighting the beast had to hold out until backup arrived. Even Deniel seemed to be reaching his limit. If the hydra and dragon had not arrived, things might be quite different. Take this you bastard! Flame God's Heatwave! The area around the fire mage began to heat up, as if a heat wave was scattering across the creature. It would not cover the entire beast of course, but it was enough to continuously affect it as he ran up one of the massive tentacles. His sword still in hand, he unleashed a hellish amount of strikes as he moved upwards, Celica flew the Black Sun around the beast, unleashing napalm bombs upon center mass when she could.

    OST:

    [Dream-state]

    Here he was again.

This dark void was beginning to become like home.

What would it show him this time?

    His end? His beginning?

A city encased in the ocean.

    A world unto itself.

    Waiting for someone, something.

Ignorant and apathetic to all above.

    [Dream Ends]

After being awash in pure darkness once more, something began to come into view. Dmitry's glassy eyes widened at the familiar site, believing he was seeing the same vision a second time. White feathers cascaded around him, like a scene out of a children's story. Pink locks hung over him as someone held his body. Icy blue eyes stared down at him, completing a picture that kept his body limp in the arms of this angel.

Then, reality had to ruin the beautiful dream he was happening and the rest of the worlds sights, sounds, and smells came into focus, rousing the young spirit walker from his moment of peace and allowing his eyes to regain their usual sharpness, as well as their previous silver glow. Upon realizing that he was no longer having one of his visions, Dmitry looked around him, getting up to his feet and stumbling for a bit. When he regained his footing, the gray-hair noticed that Yggdrasil still towered above, as if protecting him. He smiled at the spirit tree, happy that his tribe's legacy was holding up so well. It was his first time invoking this spirit in combat and while he wasn't much for sentimentality, he certainly felt a comfort in it's presence.

"Ah, that's what I get..." he mumbled, almost forgetting that somebody was nearby. "Gotta be more careful with that direct control. Gonna knock somethin' important loose one of these days." Dmitry chuckled at the thought of him turning into some drooling heap after pushing his abilities just a bit too far, a prospect that would terrify most people. He could almost here Hati's verbal abuse right now, before noticing the girl still on the ground where he used to be. Dmitry wasn't sure why, but he felt a bit warm right now.

"Alright, up you go, pinky." He said as he extended an arm to the winged girl, deciding to ask about that 'winged' part later. However, as soon as she was on her feet, something truly sinister washed over the city and it's inhabitants. Even the feeling from before couldn't compare to what was pouring over them all now, a truly terrifying though. For Dmitry, it felt like a volcano was erupting from the spot where the last creature died, leaving him in awe for a moment.

"Get the hell out of town..." He said morbidly to the girl next to him. "Do it as fast as you can...I gotta go find Kat." Without saying another word, the mage began running toward the direction he could feel Kateri's rather unique spiritual presence. Despite the flood of stimuli he was receiving from this new threat, he could still track her well enough. Thankfully, he wouldn't need to be next to Yggdrasil to draw on it's propeties

He simply hoped that together they would be able to come up with a way to stop this thing.

The pinkette ran her fingers through the hair of the man who was laying their head on her lap. The grey frats of his hair slipping through her fingers. She was just waiting for him to wake up at this point. She was watching new waves break the surface as she knew that the monster was not going to stay down for long. Her eyes widened at the waves that were breaking the shore and the girl moved around so that her back was taking the water that was splashing on the land so that the man that was in her lap would not be harmed.

It wasn't too long later until the man in her lap woke up and sat up without a word holding his head and scowling. She looked up at the man as he moved around and looked at the damage that was surrounding the harbour of the town of Hargeon. She looked at him skeptically and waited for him to turn around and look at her. Hence when he did, she looked at him worriedly and tilted her head before taking the hand that was extended to her. She pulled herself up and dusted herself off before she froze in her spot and turned slowly to the harbour only to see the sea monster that was slowly rising out of it. Her eyes widened and she turned to Dmitry only to have him look back at her and tell her to get out of town.

W-what? He was running off and supposedly going to get to Kat while she was leaving? No! Never in a million years, eyes turning to daggers she glared up at Dmitry and shook her head. "No." She was stubborn on this and was not moving from her spot. Not when there were people who needed her and she could help. Her arms crossed over each other and she shook her head. No. Never. She stomped away and back into town however never having the intention to ever leave. She made her way though it and to the place where she tememvered where the guild was. However, it wasn't there. Her crystal blue eyes widened as the ashes that were now her guild and she could feel her eyes beginning to water and she looked away from it toward the ground. There was nothing that was left of the place that she called home, the place that she had gone to after she had lost all of her memories. Her bottom liked pulled into her mouth and the girl took in a deep breath before spinning on her heel and back to the shore. She needed to tell everyone after the battle was won. It would be won of course. Right? Why was she even questioning it. Of course they would win and protect the town and the residents that were in it. Her head hung for a moment before she picked it back up. It was not a time to be sad. She needed to stay strong for everyone. With the ignorance of the wings on her back the Angel ran back into town and towards the harbour.

    A
massive series of blue lights, shimmering as they came down from the magic circle, exploding on the ground and leaving behind nothing but ice. The ice that formed on the water wouldn't be nearly sufficient to stop a tidal wave... no... not even close, but it would be think enough to walk or run on. Kateri's suspicions about the beast not truly being dead were right however, in that it came from the water and smashed much of that ice to nothing but cubes. Kateri continued riding on Shadow's head as her guns began unloading on the creature. ((OOC: Sorry for the shot post, but we all know how I feel about this event....))

Kiersa lay there on the rooftop, exhausted from taking on all the injuries from around the town into herself, thanking the Maker though that it was all over and she could rest. Of course though something else had other ideas. She felt Capricorn quickly picking her up and moving her someplace else as a massive force crashed into the rooftop they had just been on. The blonde nun groaned in pain and slight despair. "It's back isn't it..." she asked, knowing the answer already.

Capricorn nodded. "Yes I'm afraid so Mehlady... and much larger as well." The Paragon of Selflessness groaned as the situation seemed to be becoming even more dire as time went on. She peered around, using her Stigmata gifted senses to pick out where the divine and demonic where, spotting a familiar pattern of divine energy clashing with the beast.

"Sorry." she said, before she began to channel her energy into herself once more and then fired it off towards Ardere in a burst of holy energy. This was something she could do to help against the beast. As soon as her spell was cast, Capricorn swiftly began to move her as far away as he could towards a safer location, even as she bled from everywhere possible as a result of her spell. A spell that Ardere would no doubt recognise from the last time the pair had fought together.

At this point, the battle was far beyond what Minh had anticipated at the start of this battle, and he had no more reserves of weapons to draw upon to deal with this foe. With a massive resurgence, the titan became even more titanic, and Cheepie had reverted himself to his little avian form before carrying Minh off in a retreat. He was but an ant before, but now, he was barely a speck of dust on that giant, watery bastard. It was time that he made his way out of this place before anything gets worse, and he was going to need to get more reinforcements to deal with this monster.

(My leave for the event, Rock Man has limits.)

It was much better knowing he was not the only now partaking in the glory that was the spilling of blood! He felt empowered, strengthened even, with the two teenagers adding to his fold of worship unto him. "More enemies! Find us more enemies!" His bellowed words brought the two new ones into a sprint, searching for more powerful challenges to take on even as Chaoris felt something deep inside of him, a power welling up from some other being. Ah! A challenger was appearing! The question was who, or what, it was and where were they so he might fight them?

It would not take long for the one in question showed, it was the being from before that had fell in combat. Though this time it was different, the one they had 'slain' ending up as just the tongue of the massive creature that was now before them. "Behold the enemy that shall die by my hands! Its blood shall fill the streets of this town, and turn the sea red as it spills forth! You skull will be a great, nay, glorious addition to my collection! It will be my grandest skull!  A monument to my strength!" With those words yelled, Chaoris would charge forth even as his body went into a rage; brute force flowing through him to increase his physical strength even more than it already was. He would slay this creature, or watch it run away until he caught it again in the future. Either way, he would claim its skull as his own. It would be a building, a mansion, from which he could gladly live in.

Many would get in the way of his path as he charged for the being, whose very steps shook the foundations of the populated area. Most would find themselves cut down by his pet, or a punch thrown in their direction that crumpled skulls and tore limbs from the body. Some would realize what he was doing, and wished to fight before they simply died. These he was proud of, they were going to fight knowing death would be the outcome. Even if they feared, they were brave enough to keep going on in the fight instead of cowering like newborn pups. Maybe if any of these humans lived he would grant them his power, make them lesser champions of his; as none would ever be above his greatest champion, Sharp.

Standing taller than even the gods as they sit on their thrones, the beast let out a bellowing howl of laughter. Several ants began running as they realized they'd bitten off far more than they could chew, but all were far too late. A massive tentacle was lifted, sweeping across the coast and toppling buildings as it smashed through them. An enormous crater was blasted open, homes and debris flying to the sky as a tentacle erupted from under Hargeon, tearing a massive gash in the town. The massive appendage was preparing to crash down to level a large section of the port city when a wave of air slashed it off, causing it to land almost perfectly back down in the hole from which it emerged. Several beams impacted Gargalrax's hide, dealing almost no damage through the thick, leathery armour that was his flesh, but it had served to annoy him rather greatly. "You insects are still alive!?" he bellowed, lifting a set of tentacles from the sea and slamming them back down, sending a non-magical tsunami towards Hargeon that would serve to level a good portion of the houses lining the shore. The wave would serve as a viable method to keep other ants from biting at him, as well as a means of reducing their numbers. A wall of smaller tentacles flew up, blocking off some of the bastard mosquito's attacks. 'Twas then, what the insects below would call a large ship would begin blasting away at Gargalrax's body, smashing minuscule burn marks into him. Out of reaction more than the minor stinging sensation, the creature let out a howl before sweeping a tentacle in its direction, sending out a blast of air that would send almost and ship, however, a competent pilot would be able to save his or her ship before it crashed. Something then began striking at Gargalrax's back, another of those damned mosquito's these... ants called Dragons. Gargalrax bent over, releasing an enormous amount of air from behind him that smelled like the inside of a dead creature if it were fermenting in its own organs for years without decaying, a smell that would repel even the most tolerant of beings.

The behemoth of a creature had nearly made landfall when a golden light began forming high in the sky, even higher up than the behemoth itself. It was known only by the mages of this world as the Etherion Cannon, a weapon the magic council had only ever utilized in dire situations. Gargalrax however hadn't known this contraption, this... spell of deathly prowess and only gave it a passing glance. His tentacles swept across the shore once more, his laughter echoing through the town as he watched the wizards flee, not knowing it wasn't him by which they feared... It would require some time for the attack to be finished, and those who remembered this spell would be wise enough to vacate the immediate area. "YES! RUN YOU VILE CREATURES! SCATTER AS I LAY CLAIM TO YOUR PUNY SETTLEMENT!" his arrogant voice would be heard as massive tentacles ripped from underneath Hargeon, tearing enormous craters that lined the streets and cut off exit routes, sending hundreds of homes into the air.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
"You've got to be fucking kidding me..." With a shake of his head, Deniel crossed his arms as the air grew much more foul and vile around him. Nidhogg and him were both quite disgusted by what had just become, so much so that the dragon had turned around with a screech of disgust and dove straight for the water so that the two of them could escape the vile scent. Before diving in, Deniel managed to catch a glimpse up into the sky, and there was only one possibility for the source of Magic Power gathering there. Etherion... why the hell do they send us in and then try and kill us all? Whatever. Nidhogg, we're done. Get us out of there. The mighty dragon had dove into the water, unable to speak, but still communicate telepathically. He wiggled and squirmed his enormous body in the sea, trudging on by slowly but surely with its wings still sticking out so it could gain altitude. You got it, partner. With a mighty flap of his wings and while holding his breath, Nidhogg took off once more, but this time there would be no turning back. Into the distance and away from the land of Fiore, further out into the sea, the Nephalem Dragon with its partner flew away. The Black Devil's form on his skin temporarily turned a bright red color, and then dissipated, leaving the normal Deniel underneath still standing.

Calmly walking more towards the neck of the dragon, and seating himself where he could be comfortable in the long ride ahead, his glance wandering behind him once more. "Nidhogg..." He tapped on his dragon's scales and the beast came to a stop mid-air. Turning itself to face back towards the enormous creature and Hargeon, it remained until its master gave him the command to go once more. "What is it, partner?"

"Hargeon will almost be completely destroyed after this..."

"I know, but it's not your place, Deniel. You're a fighter, not a healer. Or even someone who can rebuild. You destroy most of the time. Just be glad that thing is going to be dead."

The Nephalem gave a single nod. And then, with one last gesture, he stuck his fist out, turned his hand upside-down, and lifted up his middle finger. Leaving it there for a few moments, he ordered Nidhogg to turn back around, and the two of them left the scene with each other.

Slashing up the massive beast, Ardere gave it everything he had. Slashing with such a ferocity that there appeared to be a solid flame against the monster's skin, his flames would begin to wither away. He had exhausted his sword's power, and there was not much left that they could do. Unleashing hell fire with the Black Sun, Celica steered the ship around their enemy. Lerny bit into it's prey, slashing and hacking away with it's claws. Slicing tentacles to shreds where it could, they were being knocked around quite a bit. It seemed like a hopeless situation, but all of the mages were giving it their best. Gargalrax seemed to be injured, but his evolved form was stronger than anticipated. The spells he had created for this situation were not ready yet, and a slight grimace came over the Samurai's face. It pained him to not be able to unleash his full potential, but he was not strong enough yet. Fortunately, he had the wizards around him to help. But within moments, things began to change. The monster unleashed a wave, but due to the fire king's choice of altitude, his team was safe from this. Damn. You big friggin beast. Such an arrogant god aren't you? Plunging the now naked blade into the hide of the beast, he was able to somewhat keep it in. Staying in his current position, he noticed something in the sky. Leaping off of the beast, he performed a slick back flip in mid air. Landing upon the deck of his ship, the gargantuan hydra flew next to it. Gripping the side tight as the winds shook the hull, he recognized the symbol. It was the initiation of the Etherion Cannon. Eyes widening, his orange orbs fixated upon it for a mere moment, the guild master knew what to do.

Using the full extent of his lungs, he called out to those who would listen. Everyone! Get out of range! To the city! Taking the helm of his ship, he flipped on all of the thrusters. The engine at full capacity, it took off like a jet. His hydra right behind him, the group of mages and creatures were attempting to move towards the center of the city. He spotted no civilians within range, but the edge of the city would be obliterated, as well as the port. He assumed that this would be a controlled blast, but considering the size of the beast, it should take the brunt of the explosion. Everyone down! Bracing for the impact, the ship skid across the ground behind a building. Covering his phoenix, he embraced the red haired woman tightly. Lerny wrapped her large wings around the ship, concealing it as much as she could. Then, the cannon was ready to fall. He hoped the council knew what they were doing, but perhaps it was the only way to get rid of this beast once and for all. The edges of town likely had no people left, and the other mages could take care of themselves. Ardere worried for his friend's sake, and his own. Fortunately, they had taken up residence quite a bit of ways away from the blast. This was the end of the beast.

Up until now, Dmitry had to do his best to ignore the psychic stimuli he had been receiving since this battle started, considering that it would only cloud his judgement. However, as he was running towards where he was able to sense Kateri's presence, an entirely new sensation entered his mind, something that made his feet skid to a halt. The spirits in the area...were fleeing. Some force, unnatural and wrong, was permeating the area. Dmitry looked to where he could best tell was the source of this foreign influence, laying his eyes on a massive light above the beasts head.

The mage didn't know what he was looking at, he didn't understand the full power behind it, or even that this weapon represented total annihilation. And yet...

"I invoke the Lunar Horse: Alsvinder!"

As soon as the steed appeared, Dmitry climbed on as fast as he could and took off at full speed in the direction he came from. He didn't know why, he didn't understand, and frankly, it didn't matter. All he needed to know was that something was coming and he wasn't going to be here when it did. What he did know was that Kateri had her own way out, but unfortunately, he would have to hope that the rest of Lamia Scale would be able to make it out in time. As the weapon of mass destruction prepared to fire, Dmitry bared down on Evia as she was moving deeper into the city.

"Heads up, pinky!" He shouted as he held out a hand to the girl while he he rode by. If she grabbed it, he would hoist her up onto the spot behind him on the horses back. If she didn't, he would simply lean down the right side of Alsvinder in an attempt to grab the back of her belt and plop her onto the rear portion of the horse backwards. When and if she was on the horse with him, Dmitry would bolt towards the exit of Hargeon, hoping in the deepest part of his soul that the rest of his friends would make it out in time.

Evia was still running back to the town, her hair was fluttering behind her as she ran. She didn't have much time as she could feel the air around her shaking and the ground below her quivering. She needed to get to the rest of the people before it was too late before the worst happened. Her home was already destroyed, the place that she gained her new memories and her happiness with the people that she had just met. Her breaths were rapid as she ran with her lungs and her legs burning as she ran. She as not used to this and she was not sure that she would ever be. Not that she should ever have to. Near reaching the harbor she could see people running away, was it fear? But her answer came to her as she felt the ground under her begin to shake and quake. Her world was falling to pieces piece by piece. Her fists balled up at her sides as she ran and she could feel herself beginning to pick up speed and she reached the shore of the bay. The monster was there and taller than ever. He was speaking to everyone as though they were mortals in the presence of a god. She hated it. People being used. Images of red and blood scattered her vision before the angel began to run towards the beast.

However she didn't get far before the back of her clothing was snatched up by a firm hand and she was lifted onto the back of a horse as it was headed out of town. "NO!" Her voice was rough as she screamed out. This was her home. She didn't look at the person behind her as she thrashed. She wanted to stay behind. This was the only place that she knew and she wasn't ready to let go of it yet. "Let me go!" Tears slipped down her face as she realized the answer, the result of this battle. They had lost. Her home and her guild were gone. With one last thrash she released herself from the grip of the person who had pulled her up onto the horse and she she stumbled to the ground before running back towards where she had come from. Her feet pounded against the ground as her pink hair now tangled flickered behind her in the wind. Her blood was rushing through her head and she could feel the tears against her skin drying leaving trains of salt in their wake.

Her mind was on autopilot as she reached the shore, she knew that she wouldn't be able to do much against the monster but she wasn't willing to give up the place that she had called home. She could see white and red, walls crumbling around her as she screamed out. "LEAVE! LEAVE US ALONE! WHY ARE YOU HERE? STOP! PLEASE! CAN'T YOU SEE THAT YOU'VE WON? LEAVE! YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH!" Her body wracked with her screams and sobs. She just wanted to go home, but the home she wanted to go home to was now gone.

    K
ateri saw the golden lights shining through the clouds, catching a glimpse of the horror as it peaked out from under them. Her eyes narrowed, knowing that her friends were out there, fighting near the beast... the horror of seeing more unnecessary death than her father had just caused. "SHADOW MOVE!" she shouted, the massive creature slammed its wings harder and began increasing in speed. Kateri froze her feet to Shadow's skull plate, the large creature getting lower to the ground to try and keep most of the air moving over him. Kateri lowered herself to a crouching position, her glacial eyes narrowing in as the world began moving faster and faster, air flashing past her and causing her ridiculously lengthy hair to flicker rapidly. Magic circles appeared at her fingers as the treads on the tank began moving and the vehicle moving position, switching over to escort Kateri and shadow instead of acting as a sentry turret. Kateri saw a massive tubular thing rising from the ground, sending scores of civilians screaming as they caught air. Her heart burned as tears formed... Kateri clenched her chest and forced herself to look away while Shadow quickly dipped out of the way of falling debris. He dropped even lower to the ground, sparks flying as the half-dragon's armour tapped against the stone street. A man bounced off Shadow, flying past Kateri, already dead and not worth trying to save anymore, as the building he was hiding in flew over the beast. "I'm sorry..." she said in a scratched up tone, the pain welling inside her. 'There was little you can do master. There was little any of us could do...' Shadow said in Kateri's head in an attempt to console her.

A building dropped down in front Shadow suddenly, something he would be unable to dodge. Suddenly, a massive hole was blasted in it with ice on the outer edges of it. Looking through, he saw Kateri's tank had saved them both from losing a master, should Shadow have impacted it Kateri surely would have turned into a blood splatter on the wall of a destroyed building. Fortunately, this was not the case and Kateri would live to properly grieve over the losses of the people she vainly fought to protect. Shadow tucked in his wings while spinning, slamming his head into the hole and causing the building to properly explode in a way that Kateri would only receive a scratch on her cheek from a piece of loose glass that spun in the air, gently tapping against her skin. Something however did impact her, much larger than the glass... much less rigid as well. It was heavy enough to knock her feet from the ice she'd encased them in and send her tumbling down Shadow's back, only to stop herself by freezing her feet even more, leaving a trail of ice down the massive skull. Kateri looked down and saw long brown hair, her eyes narrowed and tears began flowing as she dropped to her knees. Her arms clung to the small object in her arms that gently grabbed her shirt. "Please.... help..." it said weakly before going completely limp. "I'm... I'm... I..." Kateri was trembling, unable to handle so much pain all at once. The child was holding something in her hand, something that she slipped into Kateri's shirt at the last second of her now gone life. Kateri looked forwards with shock, an instinct having told her to look up, but not quick enough as a large stone slammed into her causing the child to explode into blood mist and sending Kateri flying back again. 'Master!' Shadow exclaimed, still dodging more debris as he passed under the massive tentacle and over the hole from whence it came. Kateri was holding onto the edge of one of the segments of Shadow's armour, debating whether or not to simply let go.

A fleeting memory had returned to her... She'd seen her father cause more death than this monster. Determination came over her, as she made it her goal to force her father to realize the sanctity of life. Kateri threw her other arm and grabbed the edge of the armour segment and pulled herself up. She formed ice around her hands to keep herself anchored to Shadow as she slowly climbed up the beast. Shadow, feeling the cold sections of his armour moving up, knew his master was safe for the most part... or at least about as safe as she could be in this hellish scenario. 'I'm... I'll be fine... just find the others.' she ordered using the telepathic bond she shared with Shadow. The tank below fired a round that blasted a piece of debris wide open, sending its small bits flying over Kateri while bouncing off Shadow's armour. Another tentacle rising from the floor, Shadow's silvery eyes narrowing as his short life began flashing before his eyes. A missile came down from the Ice-130 that froze it solid and caused the appendage to snap with enough room to not his Shadow. Another tentacle overhead slamming the plane and causing it to explode. The main body of it flying ahead, slamming the floor and bouncing over Shadow's head, slamming into a building and exploding with ice that consequently froze the legs of several fleeing people to the ground. The tail piece dropped a bit further in front Shadow, him opening his mouth and charging up energy as it got closer. A blast of non-elemental magic erupted forth and cut the tail of the plane in half, sending each piece to either side of Shadow and bouncing off his leathery wings.

Him passing more fleeing people, all of them were blasted off their feet by the intense gale that the large creature kicked up while moving at such speeds. Soon, a tentacle began sweeping towards them, Shadow trying his damndest to gain altitude only to have his rear hit by it and sending both him, and Kateri soaring involuntarily. Another one was coming down, ready to crush Kateri to what she should already be by now. Suddenly, one of the propellers for the plane came across and slashed the much thinner tentacle, saving Kateri for now. Shadow had shrunken down to a smaller size and Kateri placed her hand out, freezing all the water in the air to form a slide that she rode down to ground level. Her tank had slowed itself down to let her move closely behind as it shot through anything in its way, heading to where she sensed Dmitry, and hopefully the rest of her guild would be. They turned a street corner and another of the monster's tentacles rose from the ground under the tank, sending it into the air. Kateri was able to avoid being hit, barely, but clicked her tongue as she no longer had the advantage of having a mobile battering ram. She tripped as the tank came back down, slamming down directly behind her and throwing her off balance. She bounced several times on the floor, skidding to a halt with a stream of blood leading back to where she fell.

Kateri slowly worked her way up to her knees, sitting on them and sobbing as the blood flowed from her road ripped arm and thigh, her beloved skirt torn to reveal her leg. She grit her teeth, fists clenching rubble so tightly that blood began seeping out. Shadow, currently in his much smaller form rested on her, no longer able to act as though he himself was unaffected by this... this chaos. Her ears rung as she looked around, tears streaming down her dust clad face in quantities that the dust was unable to soak up. A group of people were running away, running towards the monster with Kateri holding her hand out to them "NO DON'T GO THAT WA-" a building collapsed ontop them, toppled by the tentacles slamming into it. "- NOOOOO!!! GODS NO MORE!!" she shrieked, slamming her fists on the ground. Shadow's small claws gripping at her shoulder. Both of them were young... neither having ever been prepared to see so much destruction, pain, death, and chaos at once. Kateri sensed it... Dmitry had casted a spell, causing her to fly up from the ground and begin limp-running in the direction it came from. Her friend... her uncle was still alive, and she wanted to make sure it stayed like that. Kateri stretched her hand out, forming ice and jumping on it weakly as it allowed her to move even faster than her now shitty walking speed. Turning that corner, she saw Evia running towards the monster shouting something inaudible. "I'm not losing anyone else..." she said through the pain, reaching to her back and pulling out her Assault rifle. Shadow leapt from Kateri's shoulder and grew to his larger form while accelerating. A blast of orange energy shot from him that tore through a cluster of debris. A shot was fired from Kateri's rifle that would puncture Evia's leg and force her to stop moving forward moments before Kateri flashed by and grabbed her mid-fall. The ice angled upwards, shooting them both into the air and Shadow made a flawless catch, with them both landing on his head. Kateri had buried her head in Evia's chest, screaming and holding her guild mate as water poured from her eyes. The portion of the city falling around them, and Dmitry down below quickly outrunning the falling debris. The three of them would escape, Kateri would form ice over the bullet wound on Evia's leg to prevent her from bleeding out but not speak a word as she would be preoccupied with holding Evia tightly and trembling.

Everything around her was being destroyed, even as Capricorn continued to carry her out of the town, as far away as possible from the titanic monster. The town of Hargeon, it was lost... even the Magic Council had given up on it from the sensation of power that Kiersa could feel forming in the sky above. Their ultimate weapon, the magical energy cannon known simply by a single word. Etherion. The Golden Zodiac Spirit of the Goat continued to run with his mistress in his arms as she bled out from the use of her magic, taking her away from the town.

    [Exiting thread and escaping Etherion]

Blood, it was his focus now. He wanted this creatures massive skull, if it had one. There was only one way to find out, however, and that was to cut this creature up. ”We attack this creature from the inside! Shed its blood and rejoice in the slaughter!” A squeeze of his blade would release more of his blood into the weapon, bolstering his strength doubly again even as he manipulated the blood of himself and his followers to move them upward towards the chest of the creature. Chaoris's sword swung at the being, tearing through the body as if it was butter, and in went the group. Others that he knew not followed in his wake, some even being people that were not followers of him. It worried him not, as long as they were there to fight and defeat the beast he had no issue with them. The blade found purchase in every direction, blood spilling from organs and tentacles the same as he made his way upwards, using the pull of gravity to know which was he was moving. Strength flooded into him more and more as those that were with him fought and died in his name; something in his mind moving him to go further up into the creature until he found the skull of the being.

”Behold thy end, pitiful creature that claims godhood! A true god has heard your foul words and I will claim a piece of your skull, as you live, as proof of my power over you!” The mythical weapon, Blood Fang, had no issue with the task of slicing a part of the monster's skull off even as he peeled it back; revealing and damaging the brain in the process. The skull piece was not massive, enough for him to bend with his brute strength into a small object even as he swung at tissue and blood vessels even as he looked at the item before another power overwhelmed him. His body felt as if he was being dissolved, even as he found himself outside of the town with a cleared head than he ever had before. A single word revolved in his head, a word that would cause fear for those that did not believe in him and refused to do so after meeting him; ascension. A real god had been born, though he had believed himself to be one before. A smile went across his face as he carved his name into the skull piece fashioned into a cup, a bright light falling down over the being he had taken it from. It seemed he had made it out without issue. That was a good start to a new power.

Gargalrax froze up, feeling something moving around inside his body, something tearing its way through. Blood flew from his mouth, covering a massive chunk of the city as his tentacles ceased wreaking havoc and tensed up. He felt something tear at his skull before making its way out into the open. Regardless of how far away the man got, Gargalrax was far from finished, and far from being defeated by meager attacks. Having a second pair of all organs, as well as a multi layer brain had made it so simply destroying his organs wouldn't be enough to put an end to it, though he couldn't shake the feeling that a portion of him was taken. "You think you're a god!? DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH MORTAL!"

A bright blue light shone, pooling inside the mouth of Gargalrax as the weight of the magic power he began using caused the air to grow heavy. The light shining through the clouds, filtering through the rain grew brighter, splitting off and forming rainbows across the field as all was getting ready to be said and done. "TASTE THE POWER OF A REAL G-" a blast of magic power slammed down on Gargalrax, slamming straight through his crown and shooting all the way down through his body. The magic power he'd welled up in his mouth released all at once, causing a magical explosion that would serve to further the damage dealt to him. The unrequited power of the Etherion Cannon slamming into the ground kicked up brine and debris from the ocean floor below. Bits of long destroyed ships, sand, molten glass and steam all shot out from the wealth of tentacles surrounding Gargalrax's legs and continued forth in a massive shockwave. All sound had ceased, not a sound was heard for a matter of moments as the dust began to settle.

The dust settled, revealing the massive beast falling slowly. Buildings seemed to explode in a massive cloud of dust, death, and blood as Gargalrax hit the floor with an enormous hole blown straight through him. The beating the self proclaimed god has given his insides has made it soft, causing the creature to reroute so much energy to repairing his damaged organs and firing a blast at the false god whom exited him that he was unable to use magic to shave some of the damage from the attack. This, combined with arrogance, and the destruction of a vast portion of Hargeon would be the legacy of Gargalrax...

Much of Hargeon was left in shambles, enormous, elongated craters scarred the city. Toppled buildings, corpses, crying mothers, fathers, children littering the streets and crevices under insurmountable piles of debris. Fires raging throughout the city, the downpour serving only to contain the flames but doing little to stop them, though with time the wood which was burning would eventually become too wet to burn. The scars left on the city itself would be capable of being repaired, the scars left on the heart of her people however would never heal...
