    Hey folks Kakuma here, so the new dungeon system is on the verge of being released and i decided i wanted some feed back from all of you. So below is a description of the new systems, please feel free to ask any question or pitch any ideas you may have i will try to respond as quickly as i can.



    What is being removed.

    The floor's are being removed. This is because regulating them and having the same foes for everyone is kinda boring.

    Set Tokens per jobs. This kinda makes no sense as a group of low ranked mages has to work harder to get passed yet get the same reward as the group that is high rank and breezes through.

    Set Enemies. Everyone fighting the same thing is really lame and thus its been removed and replaced.

    What is being added.

    Encounter system. So the new dungeon system will function and a "encounter" system. Basically you will roll a dice that will give you a situation you run into while in the dungeon. It will include enemies and a goal. As of right now there are over 300 different encounters you can run into, each with a different goal, Enemies and rewards.

    Rewards based on Encounter. As mentioned above rewards are now based on the encounter you get. This means a harder encounter means better reward, a easy encounter smaller rewards but the easier ones are naturally easier to clear.

    The "limiter" System. Simular to the old limiter system are a set of options that the player may take to make their encounter harder. This naturally results in a boost to the rewards.

    10 Encounter rule. Encounters can be done in a chain of 10, each one gets a natural difficultly modifier. So the more you do in a set period of time the better the rewards. This is on top of any "Limiters" you use.

    Dungeon Casino. Pretty self explanatory.

    I've been waiting for this! I love dungeon running and the other way just never got anywhere due to half my team dipping out over various reasons at the time.

    1. I assume each 'encounter' rewards Tokens, and that the '10 encounter rule' means we can challenge ourselves to a longer run for more rewards on top of the limiters?

    2. Is the casino taking the place of the dungeon shop? And will prices and such be much more manageable? Old one you needed to CLEAR all 100 floors about 10+ times to get anything really worth buying...and more for any kind of exp/jewel/etc rewards.

    Once this puppy is up and ready I shall be leading a group through ASAP! >.>

The 10 encounter rule is you can only a chain of 10 jobs before your Difficulty modifier is reset to zero, think of it like a video game. The longer you go the hard it gets, until you die.

No no, just another way to get coins and other things although i did consider making the Casino something you roll on for prizes but that seemed less fun, but it will be a option as you can get cool stuff for near free through this. Or you can save up a large sum and just buy it.

    You said the encounters "may award xp." Can you tell us the odds of getting xp, or conditions as to which it would be awarded? (just something difficult, etc. is fine) In other words, if your goal is xp, is this viable over jobs?

    No the Dungeon will not be a reliable source of Exp, but there will be Objectives that are worth Exp.

    Update 23.11.2015

    Due to site limitations Encounter number has been lowered to 225.

    Whats this mean.

    I have to pick out and remove 75 of the encounters i made.
    Renumbering Images i prepared for the roll.

    This will take a few days after that everything will be ready to go. Anyone who can Edit a image using Paint Sai or photoshop that wishes to help speed this up, contact my Via skype and i can pass you images to edit.

    I know that there will be a new reward system implemented, but I do have a question for it: will some decent stuff be insanely difficult to get? The old dungeon system had some good items, from experience, to jewels, to more spell slots...but they were atrociously insane to even attempt to obtain. Level 4 dungeons only gave 4 tokens. The least expensive thing would require 19 floors of doing that. And while that's not that bad, that's the very least of it... there were several things that needed several THOUSAND tokens, perhaps hundred thousand. Imagine the number of floors for that....

    I know it's going to be a new system, I'm just curious if they're going to be insanely hard to get or not.


    Also: will the Title shop be kept? i kind of wanted one of those titles.

    I have revamped the entirety of it. Dungeon, Shop and reward system, although i think the rewards a little high still if its not a challenge then its not worth it, but no nothing is that stupid over priced.

    Update: As i just got called in to work i now have to add a day to the timer... was suppose to be off tomorrow and i was planning on finishing it tomorrow.
