Too Earthland...And Beyond!

Mission:

Ryo sighed as he stood there in line. He had traveled from Magnolia town to Rose Garden in order to pick up this passport. He knew he would need it if he wanted to travel farther than when he could, besides what self respecting Mage wouldn't have a passport to travel all over the land. So it was clearly obvious that it was something he simply had to have, and that was the only discussion that he was going to have. He looked ahead of him and tipped his hat back to get a better view. Thankfully there weren't any old people in front of him, and things seemed to be progressing according to plan. However he looked behind him and saw that there was a large amount of people behind him. This was going to be the most boring mission he's ever done.

As he stood there he couldn't help but notice that a pair of boys were hopping in and out of the line playing together. he smiled and thought a moment before he caught their attention. He held a simple card in his hand and began to flip it so it looked as though it disappeared from the face of the earth. The two boys were completely amazed by this and walked over to him watching him do this. He smiled and performed another trick this time he held the card hidden, but when he got to one of the boys' ear he flipped the card out to make it appear as though he had pulled it from his ear. They were both amazed and delighted by this show, but their mother called to them as the line moved even further. Ryo stood up putting the card away and followed the rest of the crowd.

Ryo sighed heavily shaking his head he was truly annoyed with how long the wait was, but he shook his head lightly knowing that it was only his place and he had to do what everyone else was doing. He knew that he had to believe in the system or it was all truly for naught. He looked ahead of him and saw a man step in line and cut in front of him. Ryo's eyes flashed hatred and he thought of how he could get even with this man who would dare to cut in a line as long as this one. He smiled and gently tapped the man's shoulder. The man whipped around in anger "What is it?" Ryo smirked "How would you like to make a gamble. If you win i give you fifty jewels. If I win you go to the back of the line. Fair enough?" The man laughed and nodded "Very well then. go ahead." Ryo smirked and held up three cards one the queen of hearts the other the jacks of the black suits "All you need to do is find the red queen. Pick it from the other three in my hand and you will win. Care to play?"

The man laughed and nodded his head lightly "Sure thing. You gonna lose your money, and I'm still gonna stay right here." Ryo smirked and began to shuffle the cards in his hand. he kept it very simple at first so that way the man would think he could have a chance of winning. However, after a few shuffles he began to speed it up and he watched the man's eyes fill with dread as he lost track of the queen. Ryo held up the three cards so he couldn't see which ones were which and spoke "Go ahead find the queen." The man hesitated a minute and then he picked the jack of clubs. When he saw it he swore out loud and everyone turned to look at him. He pushed the card back into Ryo's hand and stormed to the back of the line. Ryo smirked and nodded his head with his good deed done.

Ryo watched the rest of the line with great anxiousness. He had already done a lot in fact several hours of waiting now. He had managed to make a man play fair and do the waiting in line like he was supposed to, but he was tired. He had come straight here from a mission with Ian and it was just too much. As he regained his sense of presence he looked and saw he was next in line. He almost threw his hat up in the air to thank the gods, but instead he calmly walked to the front and talked the man behind the counter "My name is Ryo Knetegawa. I am a mage of the Sabertooth guild." he filled out several papers and then handed him his passport. Ryo took it and tucked it into his inner coat pocket smiling widely "I win." he says to himself as he heads back towards the Sabertooth guild hall.
