While Erza dashed off to face the principal and the student president Frederick made sure she got there unscathed, by lunging the tentacles next to her and pushing every other enemy away. But when she got over there the principal faded away in a black mist, leaving her only with the president. But the man was only gone for a mere second and that when Frederick could feel a sudden power surge next to him. From out the corner of his eye sockets he could see the Principal standing next him. Taunting him with it's smile.
To wich Frederick reacted immediately by plunging seven of the black tentacles into the position where the man was standing. But when he raised the tentacles again he could see that the Principal was long gone leaving yet again nothing else then a black fading mist.
'You both will make fine additions to my army, especially that young lady over there.'

But before the principal could finish his sentence Frederick already attacked again, this time lunging one tentacle towards him that came crashing down on his locations. But once again the principal evaded his attack and appeared several meters away from the impact. But Frederick wasn't planning on giving him any time to breath, so after he appeared again Frederick launched a salvo of six more tentacles. Each crashing into the ground where the principal had appeared. But the man was faster then Frederick's attack and each of the tentacles missed him.

When the principal appeared again he stood right in front of Frederick this time. Still grinning with the chesire smile.
'You're fast, but not fast enough. Soon I will use you as one of my puppets. And if the other one survives, then her too. Agony Blast!'
The principal pointed his arms towards Frederick, and from out his hands a green beam shot into him. And pushed Frederick crashing into a wall with it.
'HA! you aren't even worth being my puppet! The difference between us to great'

"I wouldn't worry about the girl if I was you, she can handle herself perfectly. I haven't made her the keeper is she couldn't'
The monotone voice from Frederick came out of the hole that was just shot into the wall. And when he stepped out of it he raised the pressure that was to be felt of his own magic.
'Instead I would worry about yourself, because the difference in our power is indeed far greater then you could even imagine'

The battle between Frederick and the principal continued in utter silence, none of them spoke to each other. The only sound that was to be heard was the impact from spells and attacks, that clashed just as heavily as the grinning face from the principal with the emotionless one that was always to been seen on Frederick's.

The principal attacked in a very simple pattern and didn't had much creativity, but still it was hard enough to deal with. The man could disappear faster then that Frederick's attacks could hit him. Only to reappear somewhere else and if had time to strike he launched a ominous green beam towards Frederick. Which didn't do much impact damage, but left a burning wound on his body.
'Let's see if you are fast enough if the entire room is against you..'

Frederick had realized that the principal wasn't as easy as he thought he would be, and that the featureless black tentacles were to slow to keep up with the man. So with the last words that came out of his mouth he retracted the tentacles back into his aura, and a pure blackness shot out from under his feet and spread out over the entire room.
It was a pure black mass from which Frederick could attack with any raw forms he could think of. He could attack the man with harsh spikes that shot out of the ground on his location. Or let explosion occur, he could even shot beams from out the mass. It was a spell that allowed Frederick to have total control over the battlefield and whatever terrain they were fighting on didn't matter.

With a swipe of his arm towards the Principal, Frederick created ten spikes that shot from out the darkness. And this time the man was caught by surprise for once, apparently not being able to see where or when the attacks happened put up some limitations on his reaction speed. This was going to be the man's downfall, and Frederick knew this.

The Principal knew as well that the imminent black mass that had appeared him brought along difficulties for him. Enough difficulties that he realized that he was in peril right now if he didn't act quickly on it. So with pure frustration the man held his hand in front of him and generated two ill green looking beams that he shot towards Frederick.
Who in turn let a rough wall of dark mass raise from out the ground in front of him, but without avail. The wall he had created was to slow and didn't had enough density to withstand the principals attack. And it was shattered to pieces when they penetrated it, as well landing directly onto Frederick. That blasted a few meters backwards.
But before he could even stand up the Principal had already landed an another attack on Frederick. This time in the form of a tremendous green ball consisting out of eerie magic, with one hand in front of him the Principal had gather his magic in his palm and thus creating the huge orb. Which he then punched away with his other hand.
The impact created a loud deafening noise and concealed Frederick behind a lingering green smoke.

'Whahaha! You see, you are nothing before my might!
The Principal was standing in front of the smoke while he laughed maniacally and taunting the guild master, who he assumed didn't survived his attack.
'Now that I finished up with you I will take care of the other one, and after that it is time to move on beyond this school. I will..aargh!
Before he could finish his sentence he was being blasted away by jet black beams that were shot from out the dark mass. That was still covering the entire floor.
'My my, you actually managed to deal some damage onto me.'
The principal laid on the ground and watch with an astonished look towards the smoke that had faded away and made place for Frederick once again. Whom rose out of the darkness on the ground and towered above the man.
'You know it's a shame.. You actually could have been a powerful asset to the guild. But planning on dominating Fiore itself quite ruined that... I mean. There is only one who will plunge this world into darkness... And that is me!!'
With the end of that sentence Frederick's voice had changed, the usual emotionless and monotone sound had been replaced. Replaced by a strong and evil sound that trembled through the room. And with it he launched spouts from out the dark mass into the Principal that laid before him.

Frederick retracted the darkness that had spread through the entire room back into himself. All while he walked over towards the now lifeless and broken body of the principal, where he looked down upon it with with an arrogant look on his face.
'Tch, pathetic fool. Those who can't even comprehend power shouldn't even try to attain it'
Frederick rolled the man's body over by pushing against it with his foot, so that he could look upon the mans face when he said that. Which still contained the smiling smug he had on it's face just as when they fought.
With a smirking sounds Frederick turned away from the body and looked towards Erza. Or at least where she should be. The pink haired girl of the guild was hidden behind a veil of dust that barely showed her appearance.

Frederick figured that she still was entangled into a battle with the principals counterpart. A young and mysterious student that had felt as equally as powerful as the man itself. Or maybe even more powerful, but nevertheless Frederick knew that he was no problem for Erza. Or even any member of his guild. The team that he was building since the fall of the former Savage Skull was bound to be more powerful then the guild ever was. And the keeper had earned her place among them through determination and wits.
He decided to let her be for now, if there was no reason for him to intervene then he shouldn't do so.
'Miss Loveheart, finish this up. I will be waiting outside'
Leaving those words with her, Frederick walked away towards the nearest exit. That should lead him back up again. But not before he had retrieved his cloak, which in turn was as torn as the other clothes he was wearing. But even though the fall had torn most if it, the hood was still intact. Which was more then enough for Frederick. So he threw the cloak over his shoulders and pulled the hood back over his head. Concealing most of his face once again into a shroud of darkness.

Most people would succumb to anxiety when they strolled through an empty school building, where the entire student body was being possessed. But then again Frederick wasn't most people. His years of wandering through ancient ruins to hunt down old myths had made him immune to these kind of environments. For him there was no suspense while walking through the eerie halls of the school.

Upon reaching the entrance hall he could see that this school was being possessed for probably a long time. Longer then he anticipated when he saw how time has made his mark on the iron lockers. Rust and color depravity tainted the school lockers where once hundreds of students passed by. Storing their books and personal belongings that were most trivial to teenage students.

Fredericks thoughts on the school got disturbed by a rustling sound behind him. That immediately got followed up by a same sound in front of him. And while Frederick awaited what it was he saw two silhouettes at the other end of the path between the lockers. Standing in the light of the door that lead outside, blackening them for Frederick's vision.
'So the principal wasn't the only one with the power to corrupt, it seams that the keepers enemy is more important then I thought.'
New students had appeared before Frederick, who still were under the control of the remaining boss. Who still was entangled in a battle with Erza. Frederick figured from the rustling sound he heard before that there were some students behind him as well.
'I've already fought enough, so rise minions! Come forth from the shadows and vanquish the enemies!'

With his last words several black pentacles appeared on the lockers and the floor. All around Frederick. And out of those pentacles stepped demon like black apparitions. ready to serve their masters call. They didn't even need a further command, once they were all present they immediately commenced the attack on the students. Slashing at them with their claws without even making a sound.

It was a strange and weird sight how the silent apparitions charged into the possessed students. With a deathly precision they stabbed them with their claws, and never at the same spot. His minions were so nimble and one with the darkness that they moved silently. Making unable for their opponents to predict their attacks based on sound. But were did they come from? That was something even Frederick couldn't answer. Since the moment he had learned that spell. Somehow they were just there when being summoned. Prepared to do the bidding of the one that called them forth. And they always knew what to do, always seem to feel what Frederick wanted. He figured that these creatures were a part of himself somehow, probably created out his own darkness. That this was just the shape that Frederick wanted them to have. But he was sure about one thing, these minions weren't alive or dead.

Their charges on the students went on, and one of them had already had fallen. And laid bleeding on the ground. His entire face and body greatly disfigured by deep and long wounds. You couldn't
even tell how much there were. The apparitions had struck the student so much that the wound crossed each other on his body. To such an extent that it was more a messy pulp that had the form of human body. The other students on the other hand were still standing, even though they were wounded. And tried to strike back.
Some were hit and were pushed back a little, but most of the minions easily evaded the attacks. They were after coming from one of Frederick's stronger spells.

While they evaded they also came around for another charge, and now with one of the students dead it was only harder to fend the minions off. For the students it probably looked like they were everywhere. And with every turn they made a minion was already standing in their way. Staring at them with their white masses where their eyes should be.

It didn't take to long before the three remaining students had found their demise as well. And their bodies laid just like the other student on the ground. Lifeless and mutilated beyond recognition. Frederick's apparitions on the other hand were no silently standing around him, clinging onto the lockers or hidden in some wide cracks. But all were staring at him, awaiting their next command.

Their silence was disturbed by loud trembling sound, that made the entire school building quack as if there was an actual tremor. The sudden shock made the apparitions vanish into thin air, leaving nothing more then a faint black mist at where they were sitting. Even Frederick was caught by surprise and lost his footing that he had to lean and grab onto a locker, in order not to fall down.
But the tremor fainted as quickly as it came returning the silence back to the school. Only this time something was different, the mood was changing. The dark and twisted atmosphere that had held this school in it's grasp was disappearing. Slowly as a small river that seeped down a hill.
Frederick knew that this could only mean one thing, and that was that Erza had defeated the remaining enemy. And apparently it's defeat came with the release on the grasp he had on the students and faculty.

However, the students would soon realize the cost they had to pay for their freedom. Some of them had crossed over the river that separated them from death. Others had their physical bodies deteriorate over time while they were being possessed. And being conscious again would also made them feel that agony. Frederick didn't know if that being free from this evil was for the better. When they were being possessed, they were at least in some state of bliss. Unable to feel the pain and suffering that their bodies endured.

With that final thought Frederick stepped over the mutilated bodies and walked further towards the doors. Which he slowly opened, there he was being greeted by a ray of sun light on his face. Normally such a thing wouldn't happen, but this time it had found his way through one of the torn cracks in the fabric of his cloak.
