This is Mura's main battle wear - an orange haori over a dark-grey komode, tied in sangu-era plates and strips and grey tattsuke-hakama (a type of leggings). He dons this on a daily basis and in missions to honor his heritage as a samurai. His haori has this phrase written in black, Midijin words on the back of his; a well-known quote back in Midi:

'Study hard and all things can be accomplished. Give up, and you will amount to nothing.'
