Not Only Ninjas Strike At Night [Sundown Job: Mura and Heero]

Mura was looking fixedly at this new vampire; he surely looked stronger than the last one. He shouldn’t underestimate this guy. Heero suddenly held an arm in front of Mura, warning him about this ancient vampire. “But what now?” Mura curiously asked him. The other vampire, though, took the word and explained that not all vampires were blood-thirsty monsters. In fact, this one was interested in Mura’s new powers. “What?!” Mura spoke up in disbelief. Was this guy trying to trick him or something? Mura considered attacking him already, but then, Rose confirmed the elder vampire’s honesty. That was weird; Mura didn’t know that vampires could be like that. The vampire prompted Mura to charge at him, without any help from Heero or Rose. It sounded somewhat stupid for him to charge in like that, but if anything happened, Heero could interfere. Besides, he was smiling a bit...

He raised his sword, and immediately, the vampire cloned himself into fifty clones. He was completely surrounded and they were about to attack. “… Come at me, then!” he shouted, before the vampires charged at him with intense speed. Mura dodged them in the beginning, but as he was in the air, he got knocked around a bit. “Argh!” came out of his mouth, as he landed on the ground again; good, but astonished. He was getting faster now. "This... is awesome..." he commented. Before he could recover, they all held a hand towards him, turning into a giant shadow hurricane that was about to wreck him apart. He needed his dark power, or that’s what the vampire said. He’d just gotten used to the power, so it might be a good way to test it out. “I’ll show you… my power!” he spoke up. Immediately after, he jumped up in the air, floating in the eye of the hurricane and moved his sword up in a vertical slash. The shadow hurricane was pulled towards the sword like a magnet, and in a slight moment, it got nullified, just as he did before, leaving the true vampire out. “Found you!” he spoke up and charged a cut towards the real vampire…

Spell Used:

It seemed that Mura hit the vampire on his head; more or less. The vampire’s face started healing immediately after the cut. “Huh?” Could this vampire heal himself? That wouldn’t make this any easier for him. Suddenly, the vampire started smacking him away with a great speed; Mura was about to recover, but the vampire started smacking him again and again. “Argh, this is... too annoying!” he shouted and tried to swing the sword towards Viktor’s arm, but that vampire stopped up and split in ten clones, each holding a hand towards Mura. “...What now..?” he nervously asked him. He suddenly spotted something move from below, and spotted that it was the shadows from before. They grabbed him instantly and pulled him upwards. He could hear Heero’s words, but got interrupted by the vampire. No! What now?, he thought, as he got launched several hundred meters up in the air.

He was found over four hundred meters in midair, unable to get in contact with any surfaces. He could see all the way to the outskirts of the village; wait, he wasn’t going to enjoy the view! He was in danger! He was quite shocked by that and quickly tried to figure out how to get down without getting crushed like an egg. He rapidly swung his sword right towards the vampire, causing a crescent moon wave to charge at him. This time, it was fused with the dark power from Mura and resulted in a pitch-black moon wave. It was directly aimed at Viktor’s present spot; but if he moved, then Mura would charge down at him like a dark meteor, with his sword held with the tip in front and a pretty sinister atmosphere. If he could hit the vampire, then it would help him to land safely, or if not, then he would land pretty harsh. Right now, he didn’t feel any different, but this power... did something to him. Not only him, but also Kyuken; something weird was going on to him and that was apparent…

Spells Used:

The charge was a success; as Mura was charging down towards the vampire, he tried to blast shadows at him. However, they only wrapped arund his blade, strengthening the clash. Mura managed to cut off Viktor’s arm in the end of the fall. It braked the speed a bit and he was able to land safely. “Gotcha!” he spoke up happily. Suddenly, they got surrounded by Shinobis from the Water Village, all looking towards Viktor and his lost arm. They were about to attack him, but Heero and Rose jumped in and protected the vampire from them. Without knowing what to do, Viktor stepped forward and said that Mura had done well. It seemed that the fight was over, so Mura released Kyuken’s spirit, and the dark aura disappeared slowly…

Viktor promised them that the rampage of his clan had come to an end, and that was a great relief for Mura. “Thanks a lot... for the training,” he replied to him, putting back Harusame into the shaft. Kyuken would appear right beside him, as the blue flame that he always were. Mura looked at Heero and smiled; the mission must’ve been completed now. Suddenly, Viktor put a hand on Mura’s shoulder, telling him about his lost days as a human, where he knew about the Fairy Tail Guild, and that he might walk by another time. It gave Mura some worries, but in the end, he smiled at him and spectated his leave. “Live well… or sort of,” he said, as the vampire would turn into a vanishing shadow. With the elder vampire’s farewell, Mura sat down on the ground; exhausted like never before. He was grateful, though; he’d discovered a new side of himself that he’d never seen before, and it surprised him in the wildest way. “This was intense, Kyuken… are you okay?” he asked his fellow spirit. The dark aura had affected him in some ways other than strengthening him, that’s for sure. Kyuken nodded with a faint smile and answered: “I’m fine, master. I was just… a little dizzy… but seriously, next time that you decide to use me like that, then at least warn me!”

Rose would swish her tail as all of the ninjas who came too just ran up and surrounded them, bombarding them with questions as Mura asked Kyuken if he was fine after such a crazy battle.

"Yea Mura, a warning would be nice!" Rose said as she playfully flicked Mura on the head with her tail from Heero's shoulder. "So, Mizukage don't you think it's time you not only paid us......but--"

The Mizukage and the crowd of ninjas got a comical sweatdrop over their head as the steaming pile of several buildings were shown; townspeople who were coming back in were screaming bloody murder comically, but some were mixed in thanking Mura and Heero for solving the vampire crisis.

"Don't you understand......these two have stopped the vampire clans attacks, for generations to come! Those hotels and houses can be rebuilt in a month!" at this, since he shouted it in Japaneese; the entire crowd drew silent and bowed to him.

"Amazing how vampires have their own Clan systems too....maybe they're not so different than us after all...." Heero would muse to himself.

"Except for the fact that they rip you to shreds and drink blood like friggin water!" Heero got a sweatdrop over his head as if to say...good point. The Mizukage would laugh and agree to pay Heero and Mura back at the Kage's residence.

"No, Mura keeps all the money.....every thousand is his." Heero would say probably shocking Mura as he was just thousands of bucks richer on the spot. Smirking and sparkling, Heero would laugh aloud and pull Kyuken under his arm tightly. "You go alone with the Mizukage to his manor. We'll wait at the towns entrance for you." Heero would say sternly with a nod. With similar gesture, the Mizukage would then leave walking with Mura back toward his residence.

Mura felt a sweatdrop down his face, as Kyuken seemed rather annoyed. “Jeez, it was terrible. Not fit for a samurai; not to mention a legend, at all!” he kept complaining to Mura. He was right, Kyuken felt bad and Mura should’ve realized that a long while ago. Although, if he did, then all this might have turned out differently. At least, they were still alive, so why was Kyuken so mad? “Calm down, Kyuken. At least, we survived… or I did. You’re pretty much invulnerable,” he replied to him with a laughter. Kyuken sighed for a moment and began laughing as well.

Mura got caught off by a flick on his head from Rose; she was seemingly agreeing with Kyuken’s complains. But that was the past; now, the job was done. Mura looked around and spotted Mizukage’s and all other shinobis beginning to sweat drops down their heads as the word “pay” came to mind. However, the Mizukage rebuked them all and told them that he and Heero had saved them all from a bloodthirsty clan. As soon as they heard that, they calmed down a bit. However, Mura could still hear shocking screams and talk around the village; most of the roofs were completely leveled out, destroyed by their attacks. The Mizukage agreed to pay them both, but Mura only spotted it when Heero said that he could keep every single bit of the reward, which took Mura by surprise. “ALL OF IT!?” he spoke out loudly, suddenly dropping his sword up in the air. He would then comically try to grab it again, swinging his arms up towards it. As he grabbed it again, he sighed and stood up with a happy face, waiting for Kyuken to get loosened off Heero’s pull. “Alright, then. I’ll see you there,” Mura replied to him and followed the smiling Mizukage to his residence, caught up by Kyuken’s words: “That guy surely got a good grab… thank goodness that I can’t get choked…” Mura would simply and comically smile back at him.
