Guild Meeting

With that being said there are two important things that you should know. This is not a super crazy rules based thing. This is being put together to accomplish 2 major goals.

1) We have has a influx of many new members. This is to help the new members get to know each other, and get them to know the rest of us, and vice versa. This will help to build Guild Teams, personal partnerships, and let each person, new and old, explain a little bit about their chars, and what they are up to.

2) Help explain the guild and it's goals. I know for a lot of people, they may not have read into Black Rose when they joined. This is not an issue, but this will help to inform them of the type of guild we are, the things we strive for, and our goals as a guild.
(This aslo comes from as an important point based on the sign ups for the crab. so it is obviously something that needs to be addressed.)

There are also other more minor reasons for this meeting. Such as any complaints about the guild, or site to be addressed, any personal issues anyone would like to get fixed, any questions you might like to get answered, and anything else that can be brought to the table.

For a lot of you, this is a great chance to get any major questions put on the table. We as a guild are very lucky to have Zack here in the guild. He is the "Fill In" head admin, his main is the GM of another guild, and he has a whole list of stuff IRL. Yet he finds plenty of time to answer our questions and concerns, and we should be thankful for that. So it would be alot easier of we as a guild make a list and propose it as a whole rather then bombard him all the time.

I know a lot of you have different schedules and responsibilities, so below will be a Template for each person to fill out to help make this happen. Now i understand for some of you this will be an issue. Such as Zack, and Jin who both live in different countries and as such may or may not be here for such a meeting. However, I am under the impression most of you are within the US boarders, or at least US, + Canada borders.

What days of the week work for you? Anytime in the evening except on Sundays. My schedule is very unpredictable as I have not started classes yet.
What time best works for you? Anytime in the evening. 6pm-9pm. Or random, like I said. I will try to accommodate.

Would you prefer a call or just typing over skype? I'm fine with either. But because I have hearing difficulties and there are so many of us, typing might be best.

What days of the week work for you? Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I can post during the week but it could be a bit infrequent due to school work, and having to sleep earlier than usual.
What time best works for you? On the weekends, anytime is good as long as I'm awake. No accurate measure of time. But I'm usually up from 12 pm till around 6 am.

Would you prefer a call or just typing over skype? Both work for me~! But typing seems to be more inclusive to all members.

Ok everyone. Time for a update on this.

As it stands, i have  done the math based on open days, verses open times.
Anddddd.........

Sunday at 7pm (EST) looks like the best choice.

I know this leaves out Izayuki, and Elyx, but this is the day with the most open slots and hopefully with a week's notice, you might be able to work it out to be here.

With that being said, based on open hours. 7pm EST, has the most people to attend as well.
This however leaves out
Zack, which would be at 12am Sunday
Jin, which would be at 5am Sunday
Crimzson, which would be around 10am Sunday


Unless someone else has an idea, that seems like the best option.

Also, as it seems typing seems to be the choice of most/all of you. I will be making an itinerary at some point to make it easier.


As it has taken longer then expected and i am still missing more then a few people I looks we are aiming for next Sunday Sept 13, 2015.

Ok people. It is 3am Sunday morning, and i am making an update real quick. I will typing up the itinerary and sending it in PMs in the morning/noonish.

However, as of right now i do have a small request of each of you.

i will resend this request out with the itinerary again, for those who don't see this.

I would like each person to type up a 1 paragraph explanation of your character.

Basically a quick overview of looks, personality, type of magic, age, sex, etc...

please add any small info that you feel is important to your char. If your pet is an integrate part of your char, then add a little info about them as well. But please try to keep it to a paragraph, or paragraph and a half, no crazy long explanation is needed.

please have this ready for the meeting, please and thank you.

One last thing. As i am not that great at typing, i have a request. Most of you said you wanted to keep it to typing. Are you guys willing to be in a voice only call? so i can talk, and you guys type your answers back. I promise, it will run a lot smother on my side. If this is still an issue that is fine, but please respond and let me know. thanks again.

NOW FOR THE SHORT LITTLE PARAGRAPH(s).

Mellow Valentine, your average 21 year old Elemental Channeler. What is an elemental channeler? Think Avatar meets Crystal Spam. Mellow as a milk-chocolate skinned man with an obsession with wearing his fox mask. The reasons behind that aren't entirely known, just that he does. You'll only see him in comfortable clothing such as hoodies, sweats, baggy jeans, long t-shirts, and things of this nature. On the rare off chance you'll see him without his mask, he's got jet-black dreadlocks that flow down to his shoulders, and eyes that would make people believe he's blind.

Personality wise? Mellow is rude, vulgar, loud, in your face, and bursting with energy. That said, when he's not busy trying to make you think he's a bad guy, he's one of the nicest people you'll meet. Mellow only does what's interesting to Mellow, nothing more and nothing less. (It's often used to shape the direction of his storylines). Welp that's it. :> (Did I meet the paragraph and a half criteria?)
