Zenshin and the almighty guildmaster of Lamia scale were chosen by an old man by name to come see him in Era, the holy capital of Fiore, as soon as they possible could. Obviously, they didn't really know each other since they were in completely different guilds, but the would by the end of this mission, they would indeed. Apparently, this was a legendary, hundred year, task, and was NOT to be taken lightly, as missions like this have taken more skilled mages decades to finish. Zen knew this, and regardless, he was willing to take this quest, as if he did finish it, alive, he would almost guaranteed be promoted in his guild. Also, he was anxious to learn and see the power of a guild master, the Lamia Scale guild was the second largest in Fiore, rivaling Zen's own, Eclipse Soul, and it was rumored that the Lamia Scale guild master was a dragon slayer, which one wasn't really specified in the rumor.

A week prior to the assignment, Zenshin's guildmaster Zeno summoned him into his chambers, probably for something important, and of course, it was. Zeno informed Zen about the task at hand, and for some reason, the old man specifically chose Zenshin by name for the job. Zen didn't know many old men, and it was surprising just how little he knew, his grandparents were dead, his neighbor had moved, and all he really knew was that old man he had saved from a giant squid a while before. Aside from thinking about old men, Zen attempted to stay focused on his wise guild master's words, as they would probably prove to be an invaluable asset to the mission he was about to undertake, to bring much honor to the guild. He listened carefully to Zeno as he explained everything a guild master would need to when sending off an A-Ranked mage with a guild master of a different guild on a mission that may take years.

After he was done, Zenshin was sent off with supplies and a generous amount of jewels that were probably attained through illicit means to go to Era, quite a ways from the Phoenix Mountains, the area where the guild was located, to seek out the old man and the Lamia Scale guild master. Walking inside the guild was not something Zenshin did very often, as he only really went in for when he did missions or big social events, or his bar tending duty once a week, but he had never seen Zeno's private study for some reason, and he'll never forget it either, that place was magical, and it even stopped Zen from thinking about his, old men. The snowy air had the slightest cold tinge on it as he walked outside the giant guild hall doors, it was always snowy on the mountain peak, but that was beside the point. Zen's companion, Green Eye, was joining him on this mission, as he had left the door to his house locked for once, which he always forgot to do. But, he was just remembering all this as he dozed off, waiting for the guild master to hurry up and arrive.

Rex and some A rank'd dude from the guild called Eclipse Soul, they were specifically chosen through names by an old man to come see him in the Era, also known as the holy capital of Fiore. Rex didn't really know the dude from Eclipse Soule since they were both in different guilds, but of course after taking this tremendous legendary 100 years job they would know each other by then. Since this was recognized as a superb hard 100 years job, hence should not be taken lightly by any mages, missions like these tends to take forever to complete and only the best were chosen, so Rex knew then that dude from Eclipse Soul should be someone that is capable of taking this mission. Rex is someone who loved taking high ranking missions like this and he was also anxious as well to learn and see whether how powerful and capable is this new dude he is about to work with. It is said that Eclipse Soul is the largest legal guild which also held the largest number of members in their guild as well and it was also said that some of their members were Dragon Slayers and their legendary guild master was H rank'd which made them quite powerful as well.

The day that the news finally reached Rex.

Rex woke up in his sweet gigantic mansion along with some of his room mates that he rented them with some rental fees. Rex got out of bed, took a long hot bath, changed into his normal day outfit and walk downstairs to the ground floor to eat his breakfast which was already prepared by his servants. He then finished eating through the delicious breakfast and gathered his gears / stuffs. Next he feed his pet some foods and some water then they started walking out of the mansion. Rex pushed open the door and there was his car and his driver waiting for them to get in. Rex and his pet then got in the car and then the driver drove them to the guild hall in less than an hour since there weren't many traffic jams today. They then arrived at the main gates of the Lamia Scale guild which is located in Hargeon Town, Rex and and his pet stepped out of the car and entered the guild hall. Then Rex and his pet went separate ways, Rex went upstairs to his guild master's office room and his pet, Tarus went towards the guild bar to watch the TV and chat with some guild members.

Rex was in the guild master's office doing some paper work for about several hours, his neck started getting soar so he took a break to rest, he then looked out the window to see the beautiful view from up there, then suddenly he saw a mail postman appeared in front of lamia scale guild's main gates. His secretary then went and get the mail that the postman sent, the secretary then headed up towards Rex's office and gave it to him. Rex thanks his secretary and quickly opened the mail, he took out the white old piece of paper and started reading it. It then told Rex that he was chosen for some kind of legendary 100 years job by an old man and meet him at the era to get the details.

Post by King Zenshin 26th November 2012, 4:46 pm

Zenshin dozed off again after he thanked the anxious, seemingly suspicious old man for allowing him to stay in his home, it was awfully kind, and the man was probably desperate. While in the old man's house the old man tried explaining his situation to Zen, as sure as he knew it was important, he didn't want to listen until the guildmaster, Rex, Rex? Zen thought about what the guildmaster's name was, was it Rex? He didn't know, he had heard rumors, again, his main source of information about everything really, that the guildmaster, the almighty leader, supposed dragon slayer was named Rex, it seemed ridiculous, but Zen had heard odder names. Disregarding the slight name fact, maybe his name would be weird to Rex, seeing how his name was so simple, three letters, spelled like it sounds, unlike his own, the z could easily be misinterpreted as an x and...

He wasn't going to be thinking of that now, he had to be thinking about how long this mission would actually take. Maybe it would take days, months, maybe even years, but it was too late to turn back now, as he was already inside of the old man's home, waiting for his team mate for the 'quest', mission, and what have you. Zen had already experienced dragon slayer magic first hand, at the guild spar, and it was quite the powerful magic, and they were B-Ranked. Zenshin couldn't wait to see what a guild master of B-Ranked status, as well as a Saint was capable of! A saint, taking on a mission with a mage like him, maybe he'd even learn a few things, as it was these things that drove him to become a mage in the first place.

Zen snapped his fingers, creating some dark, ice darts in between his fingers, than, he started throwing it at the wall, after asking the old man, of course. The man, obviously, and Zen continued to play his little game, the last dart evaporating after the next one hit. It was a fun game while increasing his dexterity and aim while enjoying himself in the process. He was wondering, in his head, what in Earth Land could be taking such a prestigious man so long, was he too busy signing autographs to find a dragon, or was he standing outside for a little bit to be fashionably late? This piqued Zen's curiosity, so he stood up for a moment, opened the door, poked his head out, looking left and right, then when back in. That idea was out of his head.

This man was rude for making Zenshin wait for so long, why can't any of his guy mission partners ever be on time, for that matter, why was he on time anyways, he knew that they would never be. But no matter, it was too late now, it's not like he would just leave to prove a point. Actually, that seemed like a swell idea, if he hadn't already been waiting for quite some time, he had guessed that he would just have to deal with the fact that no man was ever on time, except for him.

When Rex received the news about going on a 100 years job / mission, Rex hurried home with excitement, having to be chosen by some old dude and having to do another awesome 100 years adventure. Rex arrived home shortly using his pet Tarus for transport this time cause it was obviously faster and less traffic jams to worry about. Rex immediately jumped through the gates and fences protecting his home by one powerful leap into the air and to show off as well, he managed to leap through and pushed the main doors open and rush upstairs to get himself cleaned up. After having to take that hot and relaxing bath Rex called his servants to prepare him some food to eat and to take over to the Era while traveling. The Servants went to prepare and get the foods ready for Rex while Rex went over to his Weapons Room to get his Great Legendary Weapon out for his journey that he bought in the store the other day which cost him a lot and it's called the "Legendary Paramecia Sward" a sword that can make illusion clones. Rex cleaned the sword with a napkin and grabbed it back into his room. He then started packing other stuffs into his precious good looking big bag. He took his time to get all the things pack like the stuffs that he uses daily like tooth brush, shower gel, shampoo and other daily use items.

After packing, Rex took about 10-20 minutes into the backyard of his mansion to practice his new spells that he have just learnt. And then he finally done all the things he needed to do, he changed into a new shirt and pants and took some jewels incase needed, after everything is done and cleaned Rex then went downstairs towards the dinning room to wait for his food to be served. Somehow the servants haven't quite finished cooking Rex's foods and so the drinks were out first so Rex drank them quickly due to thirst and such. While the servants are still preparing Rex's delicious foods, Rex went towards Tarus and feed him some food and also to dropped of his bag pack. Then Rex went to the guard house to inform them that he will be away for a couple of days, months or maybe years if that's the amount needed. Rex then jogged back to the dinning room to see if the food was ready or not. Then foods were quickly served to Rex when he got there. Rex ate all of them and the plate was completely wiped clean with no food left what so ever. "That was delicious" said Rex.

Rex then left the mansion along with Tarus to his travel. Unfortunately the place called Era and the place where Rex was is quite a long distance journey, so eventually Rex couldn't travel by car or any land transport cause that way it will take too long due to traffic jams, fuels running out and stuffs alike that. So the only choice of transport Rex could use is his pet Tarus. So Rex sat on Tarus and Tarus flapped his wings to fly. Then they flew over magnolia town in a few minutes and Rex hope that he wasn't too late to appear in the ERA and that he wasn't the last one to arrive.

Find the lost dragon! [Mission] Part One! Empty Re: Find the lost dragon! [Mission] Part One!

Post by King Zenshin 12th December 2012, 10:02 pm

Zenshin was really, really bored by this point, something he really had something against, he was on the highest ranked mission, and he could at least be fighting something, be it a Tigermammoth, or a tree. Leaning back in the wooden chair he had decided to sit in, due to his partner being the latest thing since late, he spotted a medium sized mosquito on the wall. He examined it more closely and it looked full, as there was a dark shade of red around its mid section and it was also as plump as could be. Zen had two options at this point, leave the fly be and not mess with it, or see if he could nail it with a shuriken. Being himself, he went with the latter option.

Slowly, he raised his arm and created a shuriken of ice between his fingers and began to throw them towards the part of the wall that the mosquito was attached to, in an attempt to cut it in half, or at least some of it. Zen missed, and he missed, and he kept on missing, the first time, the mosquito got off and started flying, making it harder to hit, until Zenshin did it, he pinned it to a wall by its wing, without killing it. After taking a mental image, he evaporated the shuriken and the mosquito fell, not being able to fly. The man came to Zenshin and offered him a drink, he was senile, but he was a good host. Who knew, this dragon could've just been his imagination, but it was still worth it.

After leaving and coming back with a try with fine white cups with thin handles on it, he placed it down on the table and gestured Zen to one. There were three cups, and he sighed, as the saint's tea would get cold before he got there, it was fine, should he not want to drink the cold tea, Zenshin would gladly, he liked cold things better. After taking one of the cups, he brought it up to him mouth, and then back down, it was too warm. After creating, and dropping in two ice cubes, he brought it back up to his mouth and took a sip, it was the best tea, he had ever drank, ever. "Sir, if I may, this is the best tea, I have ever drunken, in my entire life, you have a gift for tea making. I suggest opening up a tea shop." he said wide eyed, surprised at how good it was.

"As a matter in fact, I do have a tea shop, it's just down the road, and thank you for your kind words, not all youngsters these days appreciate a good cup of it." he replied, grateful towards Zenshin for his compliment. "Just tell your friend about this job Im sending you on, he obviously has no sense of time. When I was younger, much, much younger, I was raised by a dragon. Not the kind that those, dragon slayers, were raised by, this dragon, was a special dragon. It was the only one that didn't rule over any kind of element and it had nothing to offer, but its old scaly heart. After a while, I couldn't find it, I believe its name was, hrm, ummm, I forget, but anyways, the last time I saw it, it was in the Forgotten Desert, wait, the Silent Glaciers, no, no, that volcano... I'm sorry, just look for it, my memory isn't what it used to be..." the old man said, and Zenshin just put his head into his hand, what did I get ourselves into...
