Drunken Brawl (Hika and Ard/Mission)

”Man, will they ever stop coming? These people are really pissing me off.”
Hika rolled her eyes once again, reaching her fingers up to her necklace which was a bullet that hung from the black strings and twirled it as she fell deep into her own thoughts. She was trying to come up with a better strategy to get rid of these beer stealers faster but to no avail. This was a rather boring task for her; defeat the enemies, more would come and then she would have to beat them down again.
”Tch.” Irritated, she produced a click of her tongue as to she was clueless about the number of enemies they will be facing as the thugs keep growing in amount second by second.
”Alright, well, seems like I’ll have to do this now.”
She fixed her black gloves, tugging it here and there and cracked her knuckles.
Kinetic Field.
Extending her hands, her red irises began to glow brightly as she formed a circular barrier around the group of enemies. They looked stunned and confused upon the sudden creation of a strange looking barrier, locking them inside.

A few seconds later, a static storm was created inside the barrier, electrocuting all the enemies that are within the barricade. A light grin tugged on her lips after she withdrew her hands and placed them on her slender waist. The group of thugs and beer stealers fell unconscious after her last attack and the circular barrier dissipated into thin air with a swift motion of her hand, afterwards. With her shoulders drooped, a long sigh escaped from her lips, followed by a yawn.
”Huh, this is so boring. Can’t we do something more fun? Like blowing up buildings!”
She pointed up to the roof of the building, which now has a hole due to her rockets and chuckled. After much thinking, Hika immediately straightened up, her face suddenly gleaming as she finally thought of a plan. ”I’ve got an idea! Follow me to the woods. Come, come~” She hopped and skidded out of the partially wrecked tavern and into the woods where she hid behind the bushes and the trees, looking out for more groups of beer stealers before she caught sight of them.
”What’d you think? Ambush them?”

Beaming at Ardere’s approval, Hika nodded as he made a countdown before he gave a signal. Immediately, she sprinted out of the bushes, jumping onto trees which was a rather fun activity to be honest; she obviously enjoyed that, letting out a howl as she leaped from branches to branches. Finally, she landed on top of one of those thugs. She punched him right in the face, knocking him unconscious and stood up, dusting off her gloved hands. Hika heard the footsteps behind her before she swung grabbed her mini-gun, activating it to live and shot three consecutive bullets that electrifies the enemy. She, then, ran towards him and slammed her weapon across his face and watched him fell onto the ground. No matter how light her weapons might appear, they are still durable enough to knock a person out. Blowing out the hair off her face, she gave a last glance at the beer stealer who just attacked her.
”Tch, thugs.”
The number of these beer stealers were to no end. They keep coming and going, which is starting to tick her off. Her eyebrow twitched at the sight of the enemies in front of her. When will these people ever stop coming?

Quickly dodging an incoming attack from them, she hid behind a tree and a sigh left her lips again; this time of relief being satisfied that she was safe. For the moment. Pondering on how she could stop these people, she kept shooting her targets with both of her weapons; her mini-gun and the rocket launcher, switching between them from time to time. Due to the amount of enemies overwhelming the two of them, Hika was getting exhausted from beating up each and every single one of them, although she had Ardere to her assistance. After a short while, there came an entrance of mages who seemed to be drunk even from their appearance, holding their beer bottles and whatnot. These mages looked much stronger than the ones they’ve been fighting with the whole time, apparently.
Slapping her forehead, she mumbled the words to herself, ”This is going to be an even more pain in the ass.”

Raising her eyebrows at Ardere’s command, Hika snickered, clearly disliking the fact that she was ordered to step back but she decided to not rant about it since she wouldn’t want to have a bad impression on him. Hika certainly is the type of person who does not like to obey rules or orders unless she was being instructed by her guild master. Folding her arms across her chest, she watched closely on what he was planning to do. The ground split up and the black flames begun to seep through the gaps. It was a pretty impressive move, she must admit. The numbers were finally decreasing and she felt much more relieved now.
”Whew.”
Hika wiped away the sweat beads that were forming on her forehead with the back of her hand. When her partner gestured that it was her turn to defeat the remaining numbers, she shrugged off and stepped to the front. Extending her right hand in front of her, Hika whispered the words to herself, ”Electric Beam.” Electricity sparked up around her hand before she shot out a huge beam towards her target, shocking them with electricity. The target let out a scream before he was thrown into the distance. It wasn’t one of the best moves she have got to get rid of the  beer stealers but at least she could take them down.

Someone charged straight up towards her, causing her to smirk. ”Brave enough, aren’t you?” She hoisted up her hand once again and released another shot of electricity before he fell onto the ground, unconscious.
”Right in your goddamned face, tch.” Hika snarled, flipping her perfectly braided hair over her shoulder. Her spells are not able to kill them directly, obviously, but they are strong enough to knock them unconscious and cause them quite a lot of pain. She was still confident enough for the two of them to defeat all the enemies and possibly the boss too, but they were outnumbering them. With her shoulders drooped, she nodded at her partner’s question. This was one hell of a battle, indeed.

To be honest, Hika was greatly relieved that the numbers were decreasing as time goes by. She must admit, her partner had exceeded her expectations in battle. In fact, his combat skills were magnificent as well. Dusting off her hands, she crossed her hands in front of her chest before she turned around to face Ardere, her mouth gaped open.
”Err, I didn’t mention my name? How rude of me. I really thought I did.” Hika slapped her forehead lightly multiple times, mumbling random words to herself. ”I’m Hika. I thought you’d have noticed the guid tattoo on my shoulder already but I guessed you didn’t. But I’m from Sabertooth, what about you?” She stuck her tongue out, teasingly at him and twirled the bullet that was hung on the strings of her necklace. Hika watched him slashed off a tree with her eyebrows raised. That was actually smart of him. Why hadn’t she thought of that earlier? Pointing at the sword her partner was holding, Hika smirked, ”Heh, nice sword you got there.”

All of a sudden, lightning crashed in the sky followed by the sound of thunder. Hika directed her gaze up into the sky and leaned against a tree. ”Aaah, the sound of thunders and the sight of lightning is the best~” She spoke, her voice dreamy as she cracked her fingers and her neck before she froze at where she stood. Droplets of rain fell onto her face and there came a downpour, all of a sudden. Her body soaked wet, she almost felt like she was about to burst into tears. ”Things are definitely not going in MY way.” She might like rainy days but she certainly loathes water on her body. Mainly because she is extremely weak when her magic comes into contact with water and it does have a huge effect on her body as well. ”Oh my god, whyyyyyy?” It seems like she will just have to be careful and be wise when summoning her spells. Soon after, a man approached into their direction. Hika could sense that the magical power that was being emitted from his body was rather larger than the ones they had been dealing with. Glancing over at her partner, she cocked her head over to the side, ”Do you think he’s the boss?” Thunder rolled through the mountains and the Lightning would fill up the sky. Indeed, the storm that was occurring would made the job much unchallenging for her as before however, the rain was a hindrance as well.

Upon hearing her partner’s comment, Hika broke into tiny fits of giggles before he introduced her his sword which was named, Clarent. Rune Knights, eh? She pondered, staring out into a distance, her eyebrow raised. She didn’t particularly like the Magic Council due to them making all the rules and whatnot which sort of pisses her off for she is the type to create chaos and  break all the laws and rules although she is from a legal guild naturally. However, she wouldn’t go so far into causing herself to end up in a prison. It would be best if Hika didn’t accidentally expose her exploits to her fellow Rune Knight on how much trouble she had caused; shoplifting, breaking into houses, robbery, vandalism and the list goes on and on. She reminded herself to keep a safe distance from Ardere, otherwise he could have caught her at the heat of the moment. Wiping away the rain drops that were concealing her vision, she realised that the enemy might be a bit of a trouble, seeing that he utilises both gun and dark magic. However, she still believed that they could defeat him without having serious problems.

As soon as her partner started charging towards him on the right, Hika came to know what he was trying to do. Smirking, she begun to launch herself at the enemy in the other direction whilst summoning a weapon. ”Aetherius!” She would bellow out loudly and a black sword would materialize in her hands. Her fingers tightly curled around the hilt of the sword, she swung it over her head. Taking advantage of her speed, Hika swiftly dodge some of the bullets and his darkness spells before she slashed her sword across his chest and electrifying him at the same time. The man would yell out in pain and dropped on his knees, glaring up at Hika, his eyes lusting for revenge. She twirled her sword and exhaled, stabbing the sword into the ground.  ”Mud slide? Aye aye, I’ll be careful.” She waved her hand dismissively and twisted her head into Ardere’s direction. It was then she noticed a spots of blood on his arm and on the ground. ”Eyy, you okay, mate?”

Hika nodded in response and stared up into the sky, feeling the raindrops on her pale face. Man, it was like a thunderstorm; the rain was pouring down heavily she could barely see what was in front of her. Blinking a couple of times, she wiped her eyes with her forehand and glanced around the area. There were more beer stealers roaming around the woods but it seems like they haven’t caught sight of the two of them yet. All of a sudden, she felt the ground move slightly, causing her body to freeze. ”An earthquake?” With her eyes wide, she looked around the area frantically. ”Fuck, a mudslide.” Cursing in dismay, that was when she heard her partner calling out to her to jump onto the trees for safety. The storm might be making things more difficult for both of them but it could turn the tables around as well. Running to the nearest tree, she climbed upwards and crouched on the branches, looking at the sight below her. It was quite horrifying of seeing the ground, or rather, the mud shifting its position taking away everything in its path, including the enemies.

With the beer stealers taken down along with the mud, they screamed while being buried alive under the mud which caused Hika to giggle. ”Silly retards.” Well, it seemed like the storm had helped the two of them to get rid of the huge numbers. She noticed a few of them struggling to get out from the mud, which was quite stupid enough of them. Hika held onto the trunk of the tree and let out a sneeze. Rubbing her nose, she knew that she would be getting a cold the next day after she got back home from the mission. Plus, judging from her outfit that left most of her body bare, it was expected that she would be freezing from the cold. ”Tch, let’s just get done with this.” Hika placed her rocket launcher on her shoulder and aimed for the group of dark mages that were trying to reach for the tree. Closing one of her eye lids, she ensured her target was right on spot and bellowed, ”Super Mega Death Rocket!” The rocket flew past the leaves and towards the dark mages, exploding afterwards. ”Serves you right, bastards.”
