Okay Luck Group

As fast as Alexei was going, his Soul Gaze still allowed him to see what was going on around him. What he saw brought him to a halt: Kaseki, talking with a hooded man. Alexei's eyes narrowed; whenever the Dragon Fang leader was involved, he felt confident that things were about to go wrong. He cautiously made his way towards the tree-being; for all he knew, this was a trap that was set up for him. In Alexei's currently crossdressed state, he didn't think he would be recognized that easily, but one could never be too sure. He continued to close in as the hooded man smiled.

Alexandra ran through the crowds, huffing. She couldn't find 'Tara' anywhere; she was almost at her wits' end. These guards weren't helping matters either. Speaking of guards, one of them was charging her right now; she sighed. She felt like they were underestimating her because of her appearance; well, it was time to show the world that she was much more than a pretty face. She whipped out the metal knife from before, and charged the guard; he lowered his guard for a moment, confused, which was all the opening Alexandra needed. The knife suddenly expanded, becoming a full-on blade that made a deep cut in the wound. Letting out a low whistle, Alexandra danced around the now-crippled guard and continued her search for her counterpart.

"This isn't possible..." Kodai thought to himself. How could he have missed Kaseki? He was nothing more than a dimwit, or at least a halfwit. He started to shoot randomly towards Kaseki, missing him by inches. People behind him were being sent back to their home. Kaseki never turned, or was phased by the blast, he was fixated on his hero. "He saved me." Kaseki thought, "He's my hero."

Kodai was enraged as he watched some Lamia Scale mages disappear into a mist of the blast. Nothing bad happened to those people. They were simply back in Earthland. They were now too far away to truly help those in need.

"Brother?" Kaseki asked. He looked upon the hooded man's face. It was something like his own, but much... much older. He could see scars across his face. He could see the age in his eyes. It wasn't Kaseki's brother Dregon, but someone else? "OPHELIA, WE WILL HELP YOU!" he called out without turning. He was happy to seem some sort of family in this odd land. But Kodai thought otherwise.

He smiled as he lifted the gun to his hip. Pointing it directly at Kaseki. He held the trigger down as his past self drew closer to him. "Just a little closer." Kodai thought. This time he would sent Kaseki into a distant realm, somewhere in time. The gun began to charge the ice energy infused with time. Whoever it hit, would not have a happy ending.

"This time," Kodai laughed, "I won't miss."

Edolas Kiersa half-dragged Earthland Kiersa to a hidden vehicle nearby. "Ye get motion sickness Double?" asked the black haired girl of her more delicate counterpart. The blonde shook her head in the negative. "Good." she said before pushing her into the back seat of the large car. The thief jumped into the drivers seat and turned the ignition, the engine generating a large roar as it came to life. With a press on the throttle the mechanical beast surged forth from its hiding place, heading for the groups of people that were beginning to run.

The doors opened up beside each running group of Earthland Magi and their counterparts. "Get in if you want to save your sorry hides!" she called out. Earthland Kiersa in the meantime was creating a divine barrier against the guards ranged assaults, biting her lip as the shield came under heavy fire with the kingdoms soldiers realising what was going on.

Kaseki skipped merrily to his copy... or brother... or whatever he, she, it, being... whatever it was. Hr was happy to see something that reminded him of home. However... Kodai charged the beam. He held the trigger, counting the years he lived in Edolas, as well as the years he charged. "`1... 5... 13..." Kodai counted in his head. The gun was complex in many ways, in a math that only he could remember. He counted away to his long 30 years of living in Edolas, making a name for himself. "...27... 28...."

"Are you my brother?" asked Kaseki. "What is your name? I'm Kase-" he stopped mid sentence, why? His arm extended to the man, only feet away. Kodai was sure to keep it aimed at his target. Kaseki's foot had hit a stone, and his foot was caught up. His arm reached out to his mimic and grabbed his sleeve.... but that's not where it ended.

Kaseki pulled the man with him as he fell. Kodai felt the drop of his arm and released the gun. It flew up as he fell down. The gun spun as it was left unattended. It aimed straight to it's target... Kodai.

A beam of light was shot from it, hitting the creature right in his face. Sending him years into his past...

"I... I..." Kaseki fumbled his words, "He..." but he felt an odd aura encase him. Something... that man had? His flesh was torn, his mind split, his heart divided... could it be? Perhaps Kodai was sent to the exact spot in time where Kaseki was? Could they have... merged?

Kaseki fell to the ground, feeling sharp pains all over. His eyes fogged. He was lifeless, only to utter words in a familiar voice, "Damn you." said his lips, "Damn me."
