Daichi had decided that this wonderfully sunny afternoon would be the perfect time to test out his new tea set. Taking up place just beyond the bar, Daichi had set up his tea set on the floor, but had placed 3 stools all around him as a warning to the fact that there was a nearby idiot on the floor making tea. His shiny new cream colored tea set was laid out, arranged with 1 giant pot in the middle, brewing his famous Chamomile tea, and a collection of cups and saucers circling just beyond that. A small pot of honey laid to the left of those, and a small bowl of lemons to the right of the tea set. There was sugar placed in a pot next to the honey, and milk in a small jug next to the lemons. Daichi was cross legged on the floor, with his favorite black suit on. Wearing no tie, and a slightly undone white shirt underneath, fully finishing his casual formal outfit. The smell of the brewing tea permeating the surrounding air adding a calming scent, Daichi felt completely at ease in his new surroundings. A fact that was difficult for him, due to his dislike of being away from the earth which he was so used to until now. Daichi thought for a moment, that maybe the small black cushions he had placed around the tea set for people to sit on, wouldn't be comfortable enough for others. In all honesty they were barely enough for Daichi to remain seated perfectly. But the scent of the almost ready tea had Daichi willing to suffer slight discomfort, because he could almost taste it rolling around in his mouth already.

A lot had changed in the Sabertooth guildhall in recent days. Alexander Zenneth, a man Marick had attempted to help had left and taken half the guild roster with him to form Nox Animus, a guild that was proclaimed as a Dark Guild almost immediately upon its inception. A lot of good magi had joined Zenneth on this new path, some of whom Marick had never expected to turn heel and follow down the darker path. Marick respected freedom of course, and this was one thing Nox Animus stood for. But Marick had heard of the assassination Alexander had performed, heard of how he acted without remorse. Had everything the two spoken about been a lie?

The Paragon shook the thought from his head. He had other things to focus on right now. With Sabertooth losing a substantial number of members, he now had more work than ever to do to keep the guilds reputation intact. It was peculiar how much he now cared for the guild given that he only intended to join to learn how to be a guildmaster and now...now he couldn't envisage himself without the Sabertooth mark on his neck. People change...some people for the worse... he thought to himself as he walked over to the bar. He was about to be seated when he froze.

“WHO STOLE MY BARSTOOL?!” Daichi knew it was him that had stolen the Barstool, he knew he hadn't asked anyone for permission, he had assumed that at this time in the afternoon, no one would mind. Daichi looked up from where he was sat on the floor to see the man Standing there, obviously not noticing that his stool was not very far from him, just not in its normal place. Daichi pushed himself up of the floor, straitening his suit, always trying to look proper. “That would be me; I needed it and didn't think anyone would mind this early in the afternoon.” Daichi said it all matter of factly, not seeming to care whether he was allowed to or not. Daichi stayed his ground, waiting a few seconds before following up with, “You’re perfectly welcome to join me, this tea is almost ready.” Gesturing towards his set up that he had needed the stools to protect. There was a slight edge of enthusiasm in his voice, Daichi hadn't been in the guild long, and had yet to get to know many people, this was a perfect chance to do so. With the scent of the tea permeating even stronger now, and encompassing the entire area within the stools, Daichi knew anyone who enjoyed tea would find it worthwhile the time and effort.

Of all the things to change his mood, this certainly wasn't what the Solitaire was expecting. A figure got to its feet behind him and announced that they had stolen his stool. Marick turned to take a look and was confused at why the younger mage had three stools around him - including HIS stool - until Daichi explained. It seemed the young mage was brewing tea and the smell was rather intoxicating. In fact, when Marick was offered the hot beverage, he found himself incapable of saying no. "Well...I suppose a change from beer would be refreshing...might be best given the circumstances..." he replied as warmly as he could through his angered state. He walked over and sat upon his stool, careful not to knock the tea set or anything within the makeshift barrier.

"I don't believe we've met...nor do I believe you've been here for very long. My name is Marick Lowell, Sabertooth's Paragon of Selflessness..." he began, before releasing a sigh. "...although it feels the virtues are lost at this time...tell me...were you ever informed of Sabertooth's three virtues? Ah no matter, I'll tell you anyway. They are Selflessness, Conviction and Faith, hence why the guild's Aces are named Paragon's of those three virtues..." he began.

    Tap... tap... tap... tap... tap.
The cold winds blew across the level platform.
    Tap... tap... tap.
Their gusts, so strong and true,
    Tap...... tap........ tap.
But, grazing the surface of the floating platform, they reached an unusual entity blocking their way.

    Tap....................tap-.....
And with that, silence grew upon the scene, for the rhythmic patter of one's heels met an end in the embrace of the drafts.

    "Nghh..."
His violet eyes scanned the gate before them. What a sight indeed, one that made him squint as the next gust blew the fragrant winds of memory past the one with cyan hair.
"Saber...tooth..." he uttered in a strained voice, each sound as if abrasive. His words seemed to contain a certain note; an emotion of sorts, but of what kind? It was not clearly shown.
The man's hand found its way to one of the massive doors' surface. Tattered clothing hung from his protracted arm and with it there were other remnants of once-impressive clothing which swayed gently with the wind: a coat with bleached colours, tattered beyond recognition; a black leather vest beneath it, ripped in areas only to reveal scars underneath. A pair of trousers were protruding down from his waist, no less damaged than his coat. Truly, his entire apparel was reduced to nothing more than rags of colours stained with crimson regardless of their original hues.
But why? What once was dignity now stood as a pathetic vestige of something, but what was it? Perhaps its essence remained in what seemed to forever elude him - the memories of what he once was.

He cringed at the thought. He disliked the idea that he's something lesser than his own true self, but what could he do about it? For all his mind could gather, there was nothing in the past; it all ended a few weeks ago, and for him in the here and now, it all started one more time at that very point. Again and again, the cycle turns and twists, and to its cadence he is left wandering in wonder; wondering where to wander to.
However, in the wake of the emptiness within his self, there were, still, thoughts. Rational, reasonable; with them was also a single set of memories - perhaps they were once dear to him. He knew not, but the man could remember many things despite his situation and thus followed the scraps of thought and reason back to their origin.
Indeed, that is how he found himself before the guild hall of Sabertooth. The glorious citadel hovered proudly amongst the clouds still just as he could remember it, yet it seemed so crippled to him now. Decadent, crumbling, yet still so stalwart. What hypocrisy, still it was enough to twist his lips into a smile, one which seemed more malicious than anything else.

    "Hm."
A husky grunt escaped his throat as a response to an irritant. It was the sound of voices from within the building's foyer. As the cyan-haired man strained his ears he managed to decipher words from the sounds.
"... three virtues? Ah no matter, I'll tell you anyway. They are Selflessness, Conviction and Faith, hence why the guild's Aces are named Paragon's of those three virtues..."
The voice seemed to trail off there, perhaps preparing the next set of sounds it were to reveal, but the man with violet eyes needed not hear any more. With a forceful motion he pushed the gates wide open, slamming them against the walls their hinges were attached to. A strong blast of wind rushed into the spacious room from behind him and with it, the man walked in slowly with an aura that grew colder and colder still.

"Selflessness... conviction.... faith..." he repeated as he slowly approached the two men he could see in a matter fitting for one who was to pass out at any moment.
"... I remember... those three words. They are... the great virtues of Sabertooth.... the three oaths of the knight."
The cyan-haired male's figure seemed almost frail. The aura surrounding him spoke of great power, yet his figure was that of a dying man - something even more apparent by the occasional drop of blood falling from the rim of his clothes. Despite that however, as if with total disregard of his state, the man walked with a straight posture, somehow fitting his lifeless, plastic expression with which he began to recite words from long, long ago; staggering pathetically across the room as he did so.
"The strength to... disregard one's own... needs... for the sake of others... in a show of divine... dedication to one.... sim-...ple... idea..."
He stopped some 5 metres from the rest.
"The ability... to place it all on the line... in the name of an ideal... that stands above you... in the name of Heaven...... and..."
The man closed his eyes as he drew a pained breath.
"... The ability to believe that somewhere... in this vast expanse we reside in....that ideal... that.. single flicker of Heaven... has already coalesced into existence.... waiting for you..."

The tattered magus threw a wistful glance towards the cold floor beneath him, a small smile curling his lips. Perhaps it was a sign of happiness, perhaps of malice, but what was for certain is that until that point, he had not still paid attention to his right hand; rather, what he held in it. But unlike him, the others would surely notice, for until that point he had been dragging a long, worn straight sword, covered in rust and dried blood. But whose blood was it that ornamented it, was not something apparent, at least not yet.

When the man whose stool Daichi had stolen decided to sit down and join him, Daichi couldn’t help but form a full grin. It was plastered on his face for almost an entire second, before quickly reducing to a small smirk. Daichi was definitely happy for the company, but appearing to happy could be awkward. “I don’t believe we’ve met….nor do I believe you’ve been here long. My name is Marrick Lowell, Sabertooth’s Paragon of Selflessness…” So he had a name, and was something know as a paragon, that term obviously meant something important, and Daichi knew he wanted to know more, so he quickly got himself seated back down on his cushion legs folded, eager face staring back up to listen to the rest. “…although it feels the virtues are lost at this time… tell me… were you ever informed of Sabertooths three virtues?” Daichi shook his head at this moment, he hadn't been here long, and to be honest still had yet to meet most of his fellow guild members, let alone learn much about his new guild. “Ah no matter, I’ll tell you anyway. They are Selflessness, Conviction and Faith, hence why the guild’s aces are named Paragon’s of those three virtues…”Even if Daichi had known, which he didn't, he would have been happy to hear it again. The phrase Paragon of Virtue ran through his head. He closed his eyes for a second to think about what it would mean to be a Paragon. Suddenly Daichi was broken from his dozy thoughts to be greeted by a sudden chill running up his spine, which felt especially odd being this close to the tea set. Opening his eyes Daichi was quickly greeted to the sight of someone walking towards them, a worn straight sword in his hand covered in rust and dried blood. Something about his entire presence shouted be terrified, but Daichi was too surprised to even know to be scared. There was something about the way he walked, that seemed to portray a sense of frailty, as if he wasn't quite as dangerous as he seemed. "The strength to... disregard one's own... needs... for the sake of others... in a show of divine... dedication to one.... sim-...ple... idea..." He was saying something, but it felt like he was straining to do so, Daichi quickly stood back up, still apprehensive of the man dragging the sword across the room. Daichi felt his heart slamming against his chest, getting worse as he stumbled closer to them, only to stop about 5 meters away from them. "The ability... to place it all on the line... in the name of an ideal... that stands above you... in the name of Heaven...... and..." He had closed his eyes to breathe in, as he did so Daichi could swear he felt his own breath completely escape his body. "... The ability to believe that somewhere... in this vast expanse we reside in....that ideal... that.. single flicker of Heaven... has already coalesced into existence.... waiting for you..." he seemed to almost smile at this, and the sight of his sword which he looked at for just a moment. Daichi had never felt so scared before, he usually kept a cool calm head, and didn't know who or what this man was. Shaking his concentration from this man to Marrick Daichi looked at him, almost pleading him to explain who this was, and to make things safe once more. Just looking at Marrick calmed Daichi a little bit, it reminded him that although this was a scary moment, he was still inside his guild hall. Taking a long calming breath in… then out… Daichi settled back into his calm state. Making sure however to keep a firm eye on their new colleague.

Post by King Zenshin 9th May 2014, 7:32 pm

Zenshin took the rare free time he had to sleep. He hadn't gotten too much of that lately because of all that he'd been doing, but now that he finally got the opportunity, he wouldn't pass it up. Lucky for him, Zen hadn't had a dream in a while, which made him quite happy. He noticed a pattern that his dreams were normally very ominous and "bad", but they weren't quite nightmares. They were just -dark-, and usually predicted some sort of future event that would happen. It was nothing as specific as the one dream he had of Kyll and Frederik in the forest a while back, but it was enough to spook him. They were a little like premonitions, except that his dreams would be surreal and everything would represent something else, disallowing him to draw some conclusion as to what they could mean or what the "bad" event could be.

Unfortunately for him on this perfectly ordinary day, he began to dream. He looked up, the sun seemed to be setting and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The warm vibrant orange began filling the sky up as the sun continued its descent, it was nice. Aside from the knowledge that this dream most likely meant impending doom, it really was nice. Zenshin looked around, on the look out for anything that might help him figure out what is going to happen, or when, not like he could ever actually find out in time though. As always, his efforts were futile and he resigned from the act, as stagnating was something that bothered him quite a lot.

He didn't recognize his locations from anywhere he'd been recently or in the past, so it just had to be some place that his mind constructed for the purpose of this dream. The floor he was on seemed to be carved from stone in a square pattern. Perfect squares and completely smooth. Zenshin walked forward a bit to see over the northern edge of the platform he was on, it was simply black. The sun was still going down, but at the edge, he saw nothing but black. It was as though that where the stone platform ended, another flat platform began slightly lower, only an opaque black that light was incapable of bouncing off of. It was apparent that jumping down to this "black sheet" of a platform wouldn't be too much of a drop, but he didn't really feel like testing out sense or reason in a dream without it.

A metallic sound clanged much louder than it should have from behind him, startling Zen and causing him to turn around quickly and out of instinct. From where he was when he first realized he was dreaming, a sword lay. This sword was very shiny, clean, refined. From the looks of it, the weapon seemed to be thrust oriented. A sharpened tip, a fairly long blade, and a hilt crafted for using both hands. He knew this weapon, although he couldn't quite recall the exact name of it at the moment. It was the only thing that had changed since he arrived, so he kept a close eye in case it changed again. As expected, it did. The sword began to quickly rust and corrode, starting from bottom of the hilt and stopping at the cross guard. Why didn't it continue? he thought curiously as he inspected the weapon closer. The blade and cross guard where completely polished and sharpened, as if it had just been made.

But the hilt was rusted, corroded, it seemed as though it would break merely by looking at it too long. You can't use a sword without a hilt... You'd cut yourself he thought again. This wasn't really important. The thought barely even warranted the energy expended to think it. It was obvious, but it was also instinctive. He didn't actually stop to -think- about that, it just popped in his head. The sword began to rise up from the ground, the hilt breaking off slowly as it did so. Zenshin's dream ended here, with that final image, and he woke up suddenly. His eyes were wide open as he came up off the floor he had slept on the past night and slammed his forehead into the back of the bar's counter. "Oof!" he exclaimed before his sudden daze.

I wonder how bad whatever is coming is going to hit us he thought, immediately recalling all of the events in his dream. There were surprisingly few, and the focus seemed to be on the sword. Maybe it was a normal dream and he had just been spending too much time thinking about his guild. Yeah... that's the best case scenario. But it's also the most improbably... Ugh Another scene shocked him even more than his head making friends with the bar counter, and that was Aegis. Not only Aegis, but an injured Aegis. Is he... hurt? What is he even doing here? And hurt? That doesn't make any sense. Recreation should be able to heal his wounds he thought quickly before shutting out anything that wasn't the sick mage before him. "Aegis, what's happening?" he asked. The one man I can't use Origin Perception to read has the only question that I want answered right now. How ironic...

Post by Guest 10th May 2014, 12:46 pm

Yukine woke up late in Oak Town, where he resided in a wealthy home. He sat up and stretched, ensuring he'd be able to move at a proper pace the moment he would get out of bed. Thoughts still disappointed him, however, as he still dreamt about Victoria's insanity. Could she have moved on by now? Was it even worth visiting her again? At this point, thanks to Viola, Yukine knew exactly where Victoria was (unless she was exploring), though there were many precautions to approaching one enveloped by darkness- black lightning and shadows, to be specific.

Once Yukine was up and out of bed, he prepared himself to take a shower, and washed himself thoroughly. He noticed after, through the clean mirror beyond the shower door, that his body had matured a bit. Yukine looked slighter older, and more intimidating. As anybody should know, Yukine did not mature like an average Mage- let alone an ordinary human being. Instead, he was powered by his Regalia. It was probably due to the findings of Link that Yukine had seen himself as a renewed man of strength and potential. Yukine thought about his B-Rank exam while he got dressed, and wondered what it'd be like to endure such a thing. The thoughts of fighting- even against his friends- came to mind. If this would be the case, the fight would definitely be Yukine's best. Yukine was motivated by emotions, after all, which is exactly what his friends had given him, thus far. On the contrary, this is also how Yukine managed to become emotionless; the thought of being alone.

Yukine made himself breakfast, shortly after: bacon, eggs, link-sausage, ham, toast, and waffles. Alongside this was a warm glass of tea. Yukine actually took his time for once to enjoy the meal before he cleaned his mouth with his napkin, brushed his teeth, and headed out the front door, locking it in the process. He summoned his broomstick instantaneously, and fled over to the Sabertooth teleportation device. Yukine then had the broomstick vanish, and approached the device slowly, which sent him quickly up to the guild hall. He opened the door gently, and approached the bar. Like always, he noticed others around it. Sometimes, it bothered him to see so many people surrounding the guild bar. However, this time, it pleased him, knowing that these men were good people, and cooperative, in that manner. He politely walked to the fridge, opened it, and grabbed a cherry coke. Ever since Yukine had joined the guild, he had requested that cherry coke always be placed in the areas of the fridge in which non-alcoholic beverages were placed. Yukine had grabbed a 591 millilitre bottle, which would ultimately spare him for the next two hours. Unlike vodka, Yukine enjoyed taking his time on soft drinks.

Yukine moved a coaster over the table, and set the bottle over it as he sat upon a stool. He sighed, and took a big sip from the bottle, embracing a good taste of it, firsthand. Nothing satisfied him more than a good refreshment in the afternoon, anyway. As many seemed concentrated on each other, Yukine didn't dare to interfere with any conversations until somebody noticed him. Though he was gentle, Yukine had moved in quickly and silently, after all- he was rather good at it, in fact. "Though we are now scarcely populated, it is good to see that our code of bright attitudes hasn't changed." Yukine remarked, the thought in his head accidentally transitioned to a thought spoken aloud.

It was then, however, that reality had hit Yukine in the face. The hallucinations between bad and good had ultimately confused Yukine since he had been cleared of his moments of deep hatred. Ever since that day, when Yukine's dark self had been cleaned, and vanished from its own realm of nothingness, Yukine found it difficult to see the bad in any situation. However, when he turned around, in a single instant, it seemed as though the entire world had changed before Yukine's eyes. He saw what seemed to be a dying man, who bled wherever he walked, another terrified of the man's actions, and another who seemed clueless as to what was going on. Yukine shouted: "What the hell is this?! I return to Sabertooth, and there is a dying man in the midst! Has this guild changed before my very eyes?!" With this, Yukine stopped drinking, and proceeded to the dying man. He used his lineage to heal the man of his wounds, the factors that nearly brought him to death and muttered: "Selflessness, faith, and conviction- all which lead to paradise. I assure you, you will not be one of the people to miss out on it." After these words were spoken, Yukine's lineage took full effect, and the man, whether he liked it or not, was healed.

Yukine turned around after this moment, the anger washed away from his face, and a bright smile on his face. "Here in Sabertooth, life is essential until the very end. Do not be terrified of others' depth, because you know that, we, who are members of Sabertooth, will always be there for the poor. We will always be there for those in trouble. We will be the ones who bring the depressed to paradise. This is Sabertooth!" Yukine turned back to the man who had once been in a dying state. "So, what's your name?" Yukine asked. Yukine also noted that, while he spoke, at least a minute of time had passed through his actions, which had ultimately readied all of his Regalia to appear instantaneously. Yukine had never felt more important in the guild during this very moment, though he pitied himself for being in that moment of pure happiness. To think he had just walked in smoothly through the doors of the guild hall, and proceeded to drink, while all other guild members stayed concentrated on this man- all of it made Yukine look like a joke. However, in this very moment, Yukine had redeemed himself.

A cough echoed within the enclosed area.

    ... Drip...
    ... Drop...
    ... Drip...
    ... Drop-...

... The knight was bleeding profusely. Like a rebellion against his very existence, every muscle in his body was being ripped apart with each breath. One... by... one... the silent noises of laceration rebounded within his chest with eerie consistency.
... Yet he was smiling. But was that smile true? It was difficult to tell, however in the end it barely mattered, as that, too, began to bleed.

    ... Drip.... drop....

The world felt deathly silent. The man had not moved an inch the whole time, his gaze affixed to the floor. His presence was almost like an ominous shadow, foreboding and persistent. Unaffected by the world it haunted, like a spectre, he just remained, his bone-chilling aura permeating the room with deathly stillness.
Or was it that that was all in his mind? Perhaps it was only he who was being veiled by those superficial sensations, for as they descended unto his mind, he felt his grip of the world fading.

But that, too, would soon be halted.

"...---you will not be one of the people to miss out on it."
The azure-haired man sharply turned his head, like a carnivore marking its prey.
Immediately, his body was assailed by foreign magic. It enveloped him in its impure energy, seeking his open wounds to enter his blood stream and then spread further into his body, covering every cell that was him.
"Ghhh-.... Arghhh...!" He cried in agony, a loud thump following as he dropped down to a kneel; just barely keeping his shivering body from falling. And in the midst of that, the blonde man responsible for the magic kept on talking.
"Here in Sabertooth, life is essential until the very end."
    What an abrasive voice.
"Do not be terrified of others' depth, because you know that, we, who are members of Sabertooth, will always be there for the poor."
The violet-eyed man gritted his teeth at the revolting sensation that wriggled inside him. The feeling of vile tendrils spreading within his body, deeper and deeper, was... just... driving... him... mad.
    "We will always be there-..."
Just like that abrasive voice, it was driving him insane. In his mind he just wanted it all to cease; drown in eternal stillness.
"... -for the poor. We will always be there for those in trouble."
The tendrils of magic bore even deeper inside his chest, slowly stitching together flesh and bone with agony - but he just wanted all that noise to stop. The noises, the voices, they had to simply.... shut up.
"We will be the ones who bring the depressed to paradise."
The subversive whispers in his head, the screeching noises around him, they had to shut up. He wanted peace, they needed to shut up.
    "This-..."
He wanted peace, he needed peace. Peace, peace, peace, peace, peace...! So why wouldn't they just shut up? Shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up...!!!
    "...is Sabertooth!"
Everything hurt, his limbs, his head, his chest, his ears; it was all bleeding on the inside, it all hurt - it was all driving him insane, evident by the audible gritting of his teeth. All he wanted was some peace... some silence... was it too much to ask for...? He just wanted it all... to just... shut up.
    "So..."
But nothing ever did. It never stopped tormenting him, every moment of every day, one breath at a time. Pain, pain, pain.... unbearable pain! And those malicious whispers...! But he would not suffer it any more!

    "... -what's your name?"
And then, for a moment, it all stopped.

    Thump-thump.
    His heart was pounding.
    Thump-thump.
    His eyes peeled wide open.
    Thump-...thump.
He felt it, the magic, it...
    Thump-......thump.
    It bore too deep.
    Thump-........................thump.
And underneath that last layer of ripped muscle...
    Thump-...................
    The magic reached... it.

    "SILENCE!!!!!!"

And it all went white, as if the world was deprived of colour and with it, all went into stillness. The only noise that dared reside with this domain of paleness was the loud crunching of bones, as the azure man's aura condensed and erupted into an deafening explosion of magic and blood.

And with it, that pale world, as pale as one's soul, was painted a dawning vermilion to the thud of the azure's collapsing body, in preparation for yet another beginning...
But there still was one who wondered... which way would the wheel of Fate turn this time? In the knight's last moment of consciousness... he could only see her malignant smile... taunting him.

But it would all soon come to an end.

Barely audible among the loud noises and booming voices, one could faintly hear the sound of the crunch of wood underneath his hands. He gripped the sides of the table hard as he did his best to stare straight ahead. His collected and regal look fell with his annoyance. What was all this talk about Selflessness? Faith? Conviction? He never thought about those a day in his life, the only thing on his mind was himself. To top that off, the only reason he was in the guild was for his own benefit. Yet here he was, having to hold on to the table just to prevent him from standing up and raking havoc onto the entire guild. Only a few days ago had he made his first appearance, a young man taking to him faster than normal; Due to the fact of a certain shared quality. Looking over his shoulder, he couldn't help but over hear the conversation. This injured man, he held himself high up on a pedastool of pride. His sudden outburst deeply aggravated Alakai; Who was he to speak down upon them all like that?

Prying his fingers away from the table, he instead gripped his small cup of tea, however not with the same amount of force. Green Tea with honey, a comforting taste, just like his mother had made him long ago. A hint of mint leaf freshened the taste, making it brighter; alot like eating fried food and eating a candied mint. That tea.. was however the only thing he could remember about his mother, other than the pattern her blood made when it splattered all over her wall. Grim images were constantly surrounding him, and it was a surprise to have a gentle one loom over him. He had to be careful of his emotions, one false step could lead to his undoing. The Reaper could sense his motives, his fears; and to let him in, meant that he would be throwing away his very existence to the world.

But right now, all he thought about was a moment of peace, and getting away from these petty vermin that quarreled over this newcomer. Wasn't that a normal thing? For new people to dome into a guild and introduce themselves, of course nearly dying to do so was over the top, but hey, Alakai was never one to talk down on style. So the man just rose to his feet, the tall lanking body he possessed towered over the table in which he placed his cup. They were all fools, every last one of them, and though it certainly didn't concern him, Alakai was curious as to this stranger, and what he had to say next.
