Ooc: After fight with Shini

Zenshin walked slowly into the middle of his favorite training grounds, the huge forest clearing. He had a couple of fights here already, with a mysterious deity user, and the guild master of Blue Pegasus. Zenshin found himself to be strong enough to take on an opponent he's been waiting to fight since he first joined the guild. Xavier Norman, the only other Ice-Make mage he knew that was alive. As soon as he got to the center of the huge clearing, he sat on the damp grass from having been exposed to ice a few times. He looked over at Green Eye "This is finally the day Green, the day I duke it out with Xavier, tho only other Ice-Make mage that's alive. Or at least, that I know of." he told his trusty salmon as he gestured to back off into the forest brush. On his way out Green Eye wished him luck and proceeded to hide in the brush. Zenshin saw a figure coming through the bushes and into the clearing, he knew his opponent had finally arrived.

Xavier was walking by the area with a bowl of ramen in hand. He was slurping it ravenously as he made his way to the clearing. His training in the clearing was going along well, but he built up a mighty big appetite. As he was walking and eating, he saw Zenshin sitting in the middle of the clearing. Xavier figured that he wanted a fight so he quickly devoured everything. Letting out a mighty belch that resonated throughout the area, he then looked at Zenshin. "I take it that you want to fight me?"

Zenshin looked onto the empty bowl of noodles sadly. I should've made some, and yes Xavier, I do." he said with enthusiasm in his voice. Zen pushed himself up off the ground and backed up a bit, leaving the middle of the clearing. The wind cleared any leaves in the area and was blowing against both of their faces. I'll start, Ice-Make, Heavy Sword!" he called out as a dark scimitar appeared in his two outstretched hands. The sword seemed to ignore any light around it and was now being pointed straight at Xana.

Xavier took a good look at the sword and whistled. "Interesting color... So you're an Ice Make mage too?" Xavier cracked his knuckles and and clenched his fists. He loosened them a little and put them on the opposite shoulders. "I hope you know what you're doing man because... His hands started to glow white and grew hazy. "You aren't gonna be able to beat me that easily... Ice Make Swords!" Two, scimitar-like short swords appeared in each hand, releasing a good haze and shining brilliantly. "Come at me man."

"Swords too huh, figures." Zenshin thought as a pair of glowing white swords appeared in Xavier's hands. Zen smirked and began to ice his feet, preparing for if he needed to increase maneuverability, his 'skates' would come in handy, especially in a fight against a mage of his own magic and rank. His sword was already emitting a fair amount of fog due to sublimation. Zenshin proceeded to break out into a sprint towards Xavier readying his blade by bringing it up higher as he got closer. His feet were already 'solid' enough so that they were a bit slippery. When in striking distance, Zen span on his left foot and held out his sword.

The spin, he hoped, would increase the speed of the strike, making it harder to dodge or block.

Xavier was observing Zenshin carefully, trying to cipher out what tricks he has up his sleeves. Just as Zen was about to charge, Xavier noticed the icing that Zen had created underneath his feet. Xavier tensed up his legs as Zenshin was a good couple of feet away from him and when Zenshin spun, Xavier spun in the opposite direction. He brought both swords up to block his incoming sword and stomped on the ground, making the centripetal force he created to go against that of Zenshin's.

Zenshin was stopped in place by Xavier's sword and almost dropped his own, recoiling from hitting both of his swords while he was in good positioning. Zen smirked, "That was good". He then brought his sword back up in front of him, shaking off the minor humming he felt in his arm. Zen began to ice both of his hands and 'skated' back a bit, creating distance between him and his opponent. He stomped his left foot a bit into the ground and pushed with his right, spinning and gaining speed quickly. As soon as Zenshin built up enough speed he let go of his sword, sending it towards Xavier at a rapid speed.

Xavier skid to the side due to the power behind Zen's strike. His hands were shaking, but they still had a good grip on the swords. He had no time to rest, however, as he saw Zen starting to spin. Xavier muttered a curse as he tensed up his muscles. About a second before Zen released the humongous sword, Xavier sidestepped and threw his swords in an intricate manner. His left sword was thrown straight at Zen as his right one was thrown in a curve to the side. The left served as a decoy as the right would curve into Zen due to its shape.

As soon as the swords were thrown, Zen's flew past his body. Xavier managed to turn his body to dodge the blade, but he couldn't do it completely. The sword grazed his whole chest, creating a thick, but shallow cut right below his pectorals. Xavier frowned as he made his arms straight and curled his fingers. His hands began to glow again. "Ice Make Spear!" A rod of glowing ice formed right into his curled fingers and a thick blade formed on the top edge of it. "Aight man, show me what you got!" He quickly advanced to Zen, spinning his spear as both an attack and a defense.

Zenshin saw Xavier react to his initial strike by skidding back due to the force of impact. Xavier moved aside, and threw his swords with such flow at Zenshin, he threw his left hand's sword and then his right, spinning the latter into Zenshin's position. Zenshin was easily able to avoid his left hand's sword by simply moving back his right foot and leaning back. It was a surprise to him as the two swords collided in midair, shattering each other in mid air. Due to the direction of the second sword however, one of the shards made itself into Zenshin's cheek on the right side of his face. He almost shut his right eye due to the point of impact but raised his hand and took out the shard, realizing it had gone deeper than expected. Zenshin iced the the wound and looked back over to Xavier who was now rushing him with a spear that he was spinning.

Zen rushed forward while extending his right hand, now in a fist, trying to draw attention away from his chambered left hand, that was right next to his waist. As soon as Xavier was very close to him, Zen aimed his fist towards the dead center of the spear's circle that it was making as it span and called out "Ice-Make, Pillar!". Zenshin emphasized the movement of his right hand and at the same time as he called it out, two cyan magic circles appeared, one in front of Xavier, right in front of Zenshin's fist, and one behind Xavier, as Zen moved his chambered hand back, 'pulling' out the second ice pillar. The two pillars shot out at a quick speed, breaking the air as they came out, one towards the front of Xavier, and one towards his back.

It happened all so fast. In one moment, Xavier was charging towards Zen. The next, Xavier was about to be squished together like a pancake. Talk about a strange turn of events. This was probably one of the first times Xavier was ever caught in this kind of situation in all his nine to ten years of training and missions. However, due to all this experience, he had become to adapt to sudden changes. Completely out of instinct, willpower, and adrenaline, Xavier stuck the sharp end of the spear and lifted his whole body up. His grip was on the very other end of the spear as the pillars came crashing through, missing his hands by a few inches.

Once the pillars made contact, he pushed himself off the spear and let his hands glow again. He was preparing to shoot his needles and knives point blank at Zen. When he landed on the pillar, he began shooting needles and knives like crazy. Being only a couple feet away didn't really help Zen and the needles and knives were dispersed in a pretty wide range.

Zenshin almost had Xavier, but due to his training, Xavier basically pole-vaulted onto his ice pillar and pushed himself off of his spear. Thinking he would come for a physical attack, being in close quarters, Zen instinctively brought his hands up with his palms open, about to blast him back with one of his spells that was perfect for suck a close situation. Zen's hands emanated a dark fog that in another second, shot out many tiny and fragile shuriken into Xavier. Zenshin saw tiny ice needles fly past him and realized that Xavier wasn't using a physical attack, but an attack similar to what he was doing. The ice clashed with each other until Zen continually casted it to cover himself while he moved back. The spread was wide, but it wasn't far, allowing him to use minimal magic to get out of the attack, as ice pillar had taken a fair amount to cast. "Wow, you are powerful. Nice moves you got there." Zen said with a smirk, he wasn't afraid to give credit where it's do. "Never seen anyone pole-vault over and onto my pillars like that before."he finished. Zen decided to un-vail his weaker animate spells to conserve magic.

Zenshin stomped his foot while calling out to Xavier, "Ice-Make, Crocodile"! As soon as he did, a giant, darkly colored, reptile looking body appeared tail and all, lifting Zen up higher as he materialized more and more. Then a huge snout came onto the newly sculpted body, then the sharp, icicle like teeth were created, and finally the eyes. Lastly, four huge reptilian legs formed simultaneously, two on each side, spread out into the appropriate direction. When they were completed, so was the crocodile, standing up and swaying its tail side to side, ready to fight for Zen.

Ooc:My ability was just approved, can I use it or do you want to keep it like this?

OOC: No prob. The spear was new too. Zeno said it was fine and I sent him some changes, so it should be all good. And read into the following post.

Xavier cursed as Zen countered his needles and knives with shurikens. That attack was almost impossible to counter, let alone dodge. Seeing hundreds of needles practically raining down at point blank with only a second to react being shattered seemed like something that would happen in a dream. Xavier quickly broke from his trance as Zen complimented his strength. "Heh, you aren't that bad either. But that doesn't mean you'll beat me." His last few words were cold and harsh. No one wants to be outdone by a complete stranger, especially when it comes to using the same magic.

Xavier sensed a slight increase in magic as Zen summoned his crocodile. His hands radiated white light as he slammed his hands onto the ground and yelled. "Ice Make Spikes!" Pillars of spikes started popping out of the ground at an alarming rate towards the still-materializing crocodile. Xavier then quickly pulled up his spear. When he pulled it up, the blade snapped. The remains of the spear, which now looked like a staff, was still strong and Xavier looked at Zen, anticipating his next move.

Xavier had created a wave of spikes now heading towards his crocodile. They struck it his creation, but its hide was thick, absorbing some of the damage but it had punctured some spots of his crocodile. It was still standing strong as it slowly began turning dark, creating a 'shade' around it. Zenshin smirked as he held out his right arm to the side, "time to get a bit more serious. Ice-Make, Boomerang!", and just as he called it out, a dark, giant boomerang appeared in his hand. Zen ran up to the snout of the crocodile and it quickly opened, launching Zenshin into the air. While in mid air, he span and released the boomerang, sending it flying towards Xavier as a decoy while his crocodile moved in.
