It appeared that the events of her last journey to Joya had been fondly remembered as Medeia had swiftly been asked to return and patrol the lovely city of Felidae again. She did not mind too much and the people were so friendly that the witch could not help but smile. There were lovely anthro women wherever she looked and her eyes were always on the move, looking for perhaps that one lovely beauty who she might just snatch. The opportunity had been robbed of her the last time but she was certain that it would not happen again. She would claim her prize or perhaps a bonus would be a better description? Either way, the thought amused her and as she walked, the dark mage amused herself with the thought.

Frankly, she could do with a distraction after all of the mess that Jennifer’s return had caused. What had supposed to have been a pleasant surprise had ended up being a disaster with those she held dear ending up at each other’s throats. She was unused to the drama of it all and a part of her was not even sure if she was truly interested in it all. Medeia was not even truly certain that Jennifer would even be around for long. Yes, she had been captured which was a valid reason but the holy being was wary of reforming the connection that they had one had. Friends they would remain but no more than that. The damage had been done and it could not be repaired and if she was honest with herself, she had long ago let go of her need for her former lover. She had moved on and that was that.

Deciding not to patrol alone, Medeia had brought along her most trusted companion. Her beloved Armina, who never failed to bring a smile to the angel’s face and who seemed to adore the lovely women that surrounded them as much as her mistress did. The purple haired maid’s head was on a swivel, looking out for both potential threats, as well as beautiful females. Her desire was just as strong as Medeia’s although the two of them both knew that they had already found the one. They were entwined with each other, in a relationship that was closer than both family and love. For so long now they had been together, back before Medeia’s imprisonment and after and yet the feelings that they had for each other never died. Adoring each other more by the day.

As she glanced across at her axe wielding protector, Medeia would take a step back and then grab her maid from behind, resulting in a pleasurable gasp escaping from the maid. “Enjoying yourself, my dear?” The Ace asked softly. “You have been grinning ever since we set down here. I trust that the sights are as gorgeous as I promised.”

“You can say that again, Mistress.” Armina replied, coming to a stop too. “I cannot help but look at all of these lovely girls and feel a little spark. I know that our job is to protect the place but would it be so wrong if we had some fun with one of them? Things are awfully quiet at the moment.” Her eyes dazzled with mischief as she looked over her shoulder at Medeia. “Maybe you could just use one of those mind control spells of yours and ensnare one for us?”

“Mmm. A tempting suggestion and one that I might just follow through with although you do get awfully jealous sometimes. Are you sure that you will be able to behave yourself?” Medeia’s voice was little more than a purr at this point, as she turned Armina around to face her. “I might have to take precautions to make sure you do not get too heated…”

“I will be on my best behaviour, I swear.” The purple haired woman replied. “If I act out of line, it is not as if I could stop you from putting me back in check anyway.”

For a few moments, the two seemed to forget that they were in the middle of a busy street and it was just then that a rather large tiger person barged past them, holding a large banner and using it to push people out of the way. He was incredibly loud and it certainly broke the two’s soft whisperings, much to the displeasure of both. A frown crossed both of their faces and with a nod towards each other, they began to follow the large hybrid as he moved through the crowd, the slayer doing her best to make out what he was ranting about with her slayer enhanced hearing. It seemed to have something to do with respect for the Joyans or something like that and with an irritated sigh and roll of her eyes, Medeia increased her pace, Armina following suit. He was large and lumbering, so it did not take too long to reach him.

“Enough of this rubbish.” The raven haired woman ordered when she approached him. “Save your protest for whenever this treaty situation is handled. Your country has been chosen as the location for it and that is the end of it. You should be thankful, as it has brought more trade to your country and a great deal of visitors. Stop thinking about your own narrow minded goals and think of the bigger picture although that is probably beyond a male such as yourself. Stand now or you will be dealt with. Those are your only choices.”

Allowing her magical aura to come to the surface, Medeia began to radiate with power which was more than enough to cause the crowd to scatter, as most of the locals were wise enough to know not to stand anywhere near her. He, however, was not as clever and rather than run away, he would come towards her, standing at least a foot taller than her. “I am not going anywhere other than where I desire, woman. For too long have we been repressed and treated like second class citizens and that is going to stop. Save your useless words for someone who…”

He was rather swiftly interrupted as Armina took a step forward, took her axe in hand and swung for him, cutting his banner clean in half. “You do not talk to my Mistress like that, Filth. Utter another word and I will cut your worthless head and hang it from my bedroom wall. Do yourself a favour and get out of here, while I let you.”

Laughing arrogantly, the male would make a beckoning motion, resulting in a large group of protestors to start moving towards the two women, wielding clubs and bats. “Oh, I doubt that. My men and I are going to use you two as an example of what we are truly capable of. A sign of what is to come for my nation, where we take our future into our own hands. We will lead, instead of follow.”

Drawing a short sword, he would take a step back as his men joined him, seemingly ready to take the angel’s on. The stupidity of it all.

The dark haired angel did not even have to utter a command, instead simply allowing Armina the pleasure of eliminating the idiots. The first couple did not even know what hit them and as the maid dived head long into the fray, it quickly became apparent as to who had the advantage. Her axe easily battered away the clubs and one swipe from her blade was enough to sever not only the weapon but the fool wielding its arm as well. Turning swiftly, she would block the attack of the second one and swing low, swiping his legs out from under him, before bringing her blade down in a merciless slam, causing blood to burst from his stomach like a fountain. A swift end to those two and as the others pondered about whether to attack or not, Armina took the decision away from them and charged into the rest of them, her axe creating a bloody path through the imbeciles. It was barbaric and gruesome, more than enough for anyone left watching to turn away with disgust and yet Medeia still did not move, simply watching, her purple eyes never leaving her maid as she worked. Slash after slash, body after body, the carnage continued, the eyes of the weapon wielding woman blazing with delight. There was little anyone could do when she was in such a state and that was partly why the Ace did not intervene. Not yet anyway.

The blood continued to flow and the leader of the protestor seemed in awe at what he was watching, his men being utterly destroyed. Clearly he was unused to such a display and it was only when he turned to flee that the witch moved. Her hand lowered to her whip, drawing it before cracking it towards the idiot, her expression becoming grave. He had sent them to their deaths and now he was simply going to run? Not on her watch. There were consequences to everything and there was no escape from his own. Her attack caught him in the leg and as her torturous weapon wrapped around it, the angel would pull forcefully, dragging him kicking and screaming towards her. There would be no mercy and perhaps a little show would put off any other protestors? It was possible although she mused that it could simply cause more issues, nevertheless, this would be her course of action.

Stepping forward now and plunging her foot into his back, she would utter quietly. “You will watch this. Every moment of it. This is the fate that you chose for them when you challenged us and now you will experience every moment of it. I suppose in a way that they are the fortunate ones as my dearest Armina is efficient with her attacks and kills quickly. I, on the other hand, am not quite that way inclined. I will make you suffer and by the time I am finished with you, there will be nothing left but bones.”

Looking up as he scrambled helplessly to escape, Medeia would return to watching her maid cull the protestors. Armina’s strength only grew as time passed with both her axe and form shining with magical power. Oh, she was not on Medeia’s level but more than enough to handle the average individual. Her rage and lust for blood was insatiable once activated, which was definitely how she was now. A smile returned to the dark mage’s face and she inadvertently started to press her foot further into her captives back, causing him to shriek with pain. Yet, his shrieks were nothing compared to that of Armina’s victims, who could do nothing against her hate filled wrath. It was ever so once sided and by the time she was finished, her axe and outfit were completely covered in blood.

“That is the last of them, Mistress.” She chuckled, admiring her handiwork for a moment before walking towards Medeia. “I trust that I performed adequately?”

“Perfection, my dear.” The dark haired woman replied approvingly, her gaze then returning to the fool under her boot. “That just leaves us with their boss…who we should definitely make an example of.”

“Wait!” He cried, unable to move a muscle. “I was only here to cause a little trouble, a diversion for my associates. We were never meant to actually cause any real harm and I was an idiot to try and fight you. Spare me and I will tell you where to find my bosses.”

Medeia pondered for a moment, her eyebrow raising, before answering. “Alright. Tell me where they are and I will spare your life.”

“You will find them in the city square by the fountain. There are three of them in total, making life difficult for the dignitaries with their earth magic. They are goat women, impossible to miss and I am sure that they will not stand a chance against you. Now please, let me live.”

With a smile, the mage looked back up to her maid. “What do you think?”

Armina chuckled. “Come now. You promised him a nasty death before.”

    “Indeed I did.”

With a snap of her fingers, the ground beneath him would sink, resulting in the fool slowly falling into her pool of molten gold. Stepping back and removing her whip from him, the mage would then flip him over onto his back so that he could suffer for a tad longer. Kicking and spluttering against the incredibly heavy liquid, he would slowly sink further, until finally he would become enveloped completely, his shrieks turning to gasps for air as he suffocated. An unpleasant display indeed but one that he thoroughly deserved.

Turning away from the mess that they had made, the two women quickly left the area and headed towards the city square. They had a pretty good idea where it was after their previous trip and it was far easier for them to traverse through the place, now that they had shown their might. The people they passed wanted nothing to do with them and one look at Armina’s bloody form was more than enough to put off even the most cheerful and happy anthro person. It was beneficial to them though and so they made no effort to change things and left the people to cower in fear. Their only goal was to protect the place, not instill a happy and cheerful atmosphere to the place.

It took about five minutes or so for the two to reach the square and as soon as they did, the pair quickly understood what the leader of the protestors had been talking about. The three goat women were making an absolute mess of the place, capturing anyone who was close to them with cages of earth and seeming to enjoy doing so. They were constantly laughing and giggling, which Medeia found rather alluring. They were a pretty trio and unlike the male protestors from before, she was not quite so eager to kill these girls as such. Perhaps the two mages could take them back to the guild and have some fun with them? A possibility for sure and as the dark haired angel pondered about it, one of the three noticed them.

For a moment nothing seemed to happen, before one of the three women spoke. “Halt! It does not take a genius to see that you two are a lot stronger than the other people we have fought and we are not stupid enough to engage you in battle. I can feel your magical aura from here and I want no part of that. So, how about we make a deal and we can all walk out of here alive?”

Tilting her head, Medeia would start to walk forward, her maid following close behind. “I confess that we would rather not kill the three of you. You are all quite lovely and we were actually wondering whether you wished to accompany us back to our guild castle. Of course, we would have to ask you to let these people go. They are important to getting this treaty between Pergrande and Bellum signed and it is our job to make sure that nothing gets in the way of that. What do you say?”

The three women formed a huddle for a few moments in order to discuss the situation and once they had finished speaking, the leader of the trio would speak again. “That sounds like a plan to us. We never cared much for this plot anyway and I would much rather be an ally of yours than an enemy. For our own safety, we will not accompany you on your mission but we can give you some information. There are a pair of rat men who are working on something rather nasty in the sewers and they are probably your best bet in figuring out what this is all about. We are only rank and file members, hired to just cause trouble and this is all we can offer you. We will meet you at the docks, come meet us when you are done and we can have some fun.”

With a click of their fingers, the goat women’s spells would vanish. The dignitaries would politely bow their heads in thanks before leaving, as did the spell casting trio. As for Medeia and Armina, they would continue on, heading for the sewers. How lovely.

The thought of entering a disgusting sewer was hardly inviting but there was nothing else for it and so after ten minutes of searching, the two angels found an access point and leapt into the dark abyss. A horrible smell filled their nostrils and Medeia could not help but feel her nose wrinkle but it was unfortunately the way things had to be and soon enough, the two reached the bottom, landing safely on the grimy ground. The place clearly had not been cleaned for quite some time and neither angel seemed too pleased with the outcome but fortunately for them, it did not take all that long to find something of interest. A pair of voices reached the dark mage’s ears and after a moment of discerning its location with her slayer enhanced hearing, she swiftly led her maid through the unpleasant pathways, with both of them doing their utmost not to touch anything unsanitary. Blood was one thing but this grime was absolutely foul.

Minutes passed and they continued to explore, before the pair came out into a large room that seemed to link a vast number of chambers. The noise was rather loud here too but the mage no longer needed her hearing, as her next targets were now in sight. At the other end of the chamber were two bespectacled rat men, who were seemingly going over some papers for some reason. They were certainly caught up in their work and neither seemed to react as the two holy beings approached the,. The two were muttering to themselves about calculations and it was only when Medeia and Armina were about six feet away that they noticed, looking up in surprise. Not appearing to be all that brawny, the two simply placed their hands inside their pockets and started hurling potions at the two angels.

Surprised but swift enough to evade the items, the two women would simply jump back out of range, much to the annoyance of the rats. Medeia would then tap into her magic and summon a sand tornado that after a moments burst up from underneath the two rats. An unpleasant spell and one that wasted no time in shredding through not only the creature's clothing but also the bottles of potions that they kept on their person. The concoctions would explode as they met the sand, resulting in an explosion that caused the sewers to briefly shake and judging from the faint cries that Medeia could hear from above, the streets did too. A mighty blast indeed and one that killed the fools out right, leaving nothing more than their bodies behind.

Unfortunately, the result left them with little to go on and so all the two could was simply resume their searching of the sewers, which would hopefully lead them to another foe.

There was little time for dawdling and the two angels swiftly began to search the sewer once more, suspecting that sooner or later they would come across someone else. They both knew that the goat women would not dare to lie to them, knowing what they were capable of and it was most likely simply a case of searching. Medeia had to admit though that for what was supposed to be a well thought out plot, it truly did actually seem anything but. The goat girls did not care and rats were too busy in a world of their own to even defend themselves properly. Just what was going on here? Were these people even plotting at all or had the two women simply been deceived after all?

Time passed and as the two came out to what seemed to be yet another passageway, they found their path being blocked by an incredibly large lion-human hybrid. He stood at about 8 feet tall and wielded both an axe and a crossbow. There was a no nonsense look to him too and one glance at his features would be enough for Medeia and Armina to know that he meant business. Still, he was hardly a threat and as the purple haired maid moved to engage him, Medeia would place a hand on her shoulder, shaking her head, resulting in the bloodthirsty female to reluctantly back away. The raven haired woman was no longer in the mood for messing around and wished to conclude this business as soon as possible. With that in mind, she would once more draw her whip in one hand and sickle in the other, allowing him the first move.

An offer that he simply accepted by charging towards her, infusing himself with magical power in order to increase his might. The sewer started to shake from the force of his bulky form moving towards her but Medeia barely moved in order to evade him, simply turning her body to the side as he attacked, while delivering a powerful blow with a sickle as a counter attack. Her blow contained her formidable magical power and a vast amount of blood erupted from the wound. He was clearly not on her level but who truly was? As he crumbled due to the force of her blow, the witch would turn around and launch a powerful lash from her whip, catching him in the back, before bringing things to an end as she planted her sickle once more into his back. An efficient and effective show, one that had lasted no longer than a minute.

Leaving his body where it was, the two women would proceed past it in order to discover what he had been defending and to their surprise, they came out of the latest chamber to find themselves faced with an enormous great bomb. There was no timer upon it and the only moving object was a cat girl, her magic already activated and prepared for battle. A takeover it seemed and without so much as a word, she attacked the black haired mage. A foolish move but one that Medeia had anticipated, dodging to her left and wrapping her whip around her opponents body, immobilising her and draining some of her lifeforce. Did Medeia want to kill this woman? No, she would make another fine addition to her collection back home and judging by the look in Armina’s eyes, she felt the same way. So, Medeia merely placed her sickle on her back, before unwrapping the woman and starting to unleash a powerful barrage of lashes upon her. The woman howled in pain, screaming about how she was meant to lead the Joyans to a new life, one where they were no longer thought of as simply second class but it fell upon deaf ears. The barrage continued until the woman stopped screeching and only then did Medeia create a coil of purple rope and toss it towards her maid, not having to say a word as Armina would know what to do.

The witch meanwhile would approach the bomb and give it a rather powerful strike with her hand. Instantly it began to respond and start to blow but Medeia simply created a shield around it and allowed it to do so, the impact well and truly blocked by the woman’s barrier. It appeared that there had indeed been a plot after all, one that had far larger percussions that Medeia thought but in the end, it had all been for naught.

Turning to Armina, who was now carrying the bound cat girl, the two would then leave the scene, having had more than enough sewers for one day and wanting nothing more than to break in their new cat girl.
