The King of Thieves

(OOC: Brink remember to roll for their attacks against you and your blocks of said attacks. They aren't just going to stand there and take it)

To her honest surprise the men she had bound managed to break free of the bonds by destroying them, but as soon as they did two more tendrils rose up and began to constrict and crush them again. Six of the other men were distracted by the dancing tendrils, which quickly retracted after they missed. She growled slightly. It was irritating that the men had succeeded in dodging her so well. The attack was powerful, but it was rather easy to dodge, particularly after you'd seen it once. Plus men had used the distraction to land three more strikes on her, which forced her down onto one knee. A big mistake on their part. She lunged at a group of the men and with her bare fists struck out at them. They threw up their arms to block, but her punches had so much raw power now that it broke their arms and sent them flying into walls hard enough to cause their bodies to rupture and spew blood everywhere. That was how strong Naraku was. She turned and grinned at the weaker men, the recruits, who looked at her, back to the destruction they caused, then back to her before screaming and running for their lives.

The king once again struck. This time he launched two powerful waves of telekinetic energy at her, but Naraku held her ground and was merely sent sliding back a bit. It seemed though that these bursts had been a distraction as the scimitars came flying at her, but this time Naraku decided to have a bit of fun and ducked under one and with precision and speed grabbed it out of the air and swung it about. "Thanks for the present your majesty...not really my style so I'll have to return it." With that she lunged at him. He managed to dodge her attack, diverting it with telekinetic force, but now he was one scimitar down. Naraku planned to do some damage to him with his own weapon.

After bashing one of his guns on the side of the enemy’s head and the other one being blocked he had another twelve shots. “This is going to be interesting.” He then readied himself to face the enemy’s he was closest too. They stepped into action coming at brink with everything they had. They tried to slash him with the swords they had in their hands which would make an ‘X’ like wound on his body if hit. While this was going on, he noticed miu hitting some of the enemy’s into the wall splattering them. He felt enraged she did not have to take it that far even if they died after the wounds you she did not have to attempt to kill them no matter what they did. However, he had to focus with his own life on the line. Therefore, he readied his guns to fire knowing that in this situation he could afford to hold back. He was going to shot them either way if he is hit or not he was going to finish these people off with this attack. He was finally seeing everything come in place and as they were close to him, he shot four shots at both of them without magic to save his strength.

Brink had done well and brought down two opponents who in all honest probably outclassed him. It was as much luck as it was skill, but you could only be lucky if you rolled the dice. He'd taken a risk and it had paid off. That was good. Were all Fairy Tail members risk taker? That was something she wondered as she swung in with the scimitar against her opponent.

As she charged in the two men who had been trapped broke free once more, but this time fell onto two of the tendrils which stabbed them through the stomach killing them instantly. Another one was raised into the air and squeezed tightly. He wasn't dead yet, but he would be. The others were now getting desperate and swarmed her as she went for her attack. Six of them managed to get blows on her and some even managed to draw blood. That was a big mistake. "Glory of the Slayer." she whispered triggering her lineage and her muscles bulged slightly.

As she lunged with this new strength the bandit king used his other scimitar to try and block her. The first two strikes he blocked with his scythe, but then both scythes shattered. That was when Naraku struck with her fist sending the man flying backwards with force. He managed to cushion the blow with his telekinesis, but it still was quite a powerful blow to him. He coughed up a bit of blood, broken ribs probably, as he launched several waves of telekinetic energy at her. Once more she used her own magical aura to withstand the blows, but one hit her sending her rolling back. Now things were getting interesting. She spun around and with a powerful kick sent one man flying into another so hard that they both flew into a wall. They hit the wall with so much force, despite blocking, that when their bodies ruptured you really couldn't tell the difference between them.

In a short space of time she'd reduced their opponent's numbers greatly and she was barely even trying. Six men had died due to pure physical attacks, two were in the air, and two had been skewered by her darkness. Five had run away in pure fear of her. Heck, in this flurry of attacks she'd killed four people, twice what Brink had taken down in entirety. Perhaps he feared getting in her way which was the right sort of thing. "Brink...show them a bit of your magic...i'm sure they'll love it." she said loud enough for him to hear. This was her way of telling him to step up his game. She was fine killing all of these of course, but she wanted to see his magic for other reasons.

It was as she said this that the one who was bound fell from the grip of the shadow and hit the ground. He wasn't dead, nor had he broken free. The tendrils just had a limited duration that was all.

Brink saw miu’s attacking and was indeed impressed as he heard her yell at him to use some of his magic he felt this was a perfect time to lighten the mood and have a little fun minus the situation. “Well if you come over here I will show you my magic.” He smirked as he said this gripping his guns tightly. “I don’t need my magic the way you are taking them out.” He wanted to see all the power she had because he felt this was not even close to half her true power. “However, if I get my kill count to five will you go on a date with me.” He smirked seeing, as he knew this would probably rile her up. However, the thought of him walking around the town with a beautiful woman like her was an amazing thought seeing, as he was simply sixteen. He thought maybe could lighten her mood and thought on the world even though she probably would just ignore the statement. Will this was going on however he started to feel quite strange he seemed to be enjoying hangout with this women even though she clearly was a lie and a sneak. He seemed to enjoy the excitement she brought even though it was in a way he found horrible and unnecessary. However, he had no time to think seeing as he saw her going back into motion he looked up at the men now struggling to get there freedom and then seeing them break free he wanted to take them out before they hit the ground. “Well back to the grind.” He swiftly shunpoed up into the air with the man and round kicked him into his side which would send him flying into the wall seeing as he could not dodge this blow will in mid-air. “Well that is going to do some extra damage.” He smirked as he pulled up his guns this time shooting the remaining shots to see if he would be able to finish him off there. Then before he could even see if they made contact he shunpoed over to the next one falling down and put his guns on his chest saying ‘Bullet flare’. With a swift motion, the man was hit with a blast of lighting that would send him crashing down to the ground surely killing him with the downward force created with the blast.

However, before he could celebrity he saw he was headed toward the ground. He shunpoed down seeing as it would be a pain to hit the floor from that hit. As soon as he hit though men swarmed him attacking him there was one on each side of him front and back swinging to do some more damage to the man. “Well fuck this might hurt.” He tried covering himself from the slashes with his two guns hoping he would be fast enough to block the attacks otherwise this would cause him to take enough damage to most likely stop him from fighting in this battle to much longer. Though he wouldn’t bleed out seeing as there slashes was brutish and had no true aim so they where shallow wounds and wouldn’t really kill anyone unless struck enough times.

Brink was a braver and more forward individual than Naraku had expected. She actually chuckled at his statement. "Maybe if you took down another five on top of what you've done so far." she said with a grin on her face. Not that he'd have a chance to do so as now she decided to show off the true extent of her power. This would drain her quite heavily in terms of magic power, but it should guarantee the end of the battle. "You have seen my Glory, but now I shall show you why you should bow. Prepare to meet Hell Incarnate." With those words a dark aura coated her body, her eyes turned purest red, the irises, the pupil all of it, and her hair became significantly spikier. Anyone adept at sending magic would note her power had increased dramatically. This was a technique which boosted strength, speed and magic by 80%. However, she was not done yet. Her shadow split into four replicas and from three of these emerged copies of her. They were one rank lower than her. One wielded a shadow sword, one a shadow hammer and the last a shadow axe. Naraku herself pulled a scythe out of her robe and grinned. "Playtime."

The king in desperation used his telekinesis to hurl rubble at her, but she just turned into a shadow and it went straight through her. As she reformed several of the men struck at her and five hit her, but in her current state she barely even felt it. She merely turned around and struck out with her scythe. Two managed to dodge her entirely, which was quite impressive. However, they were struck by her hammer wielding clone. Despite blocking the blows the brute force behind them was enough to make them splatter the walls. One actually succeeded in blocking an attack from Naraku's scythe, but the force was so much it didn't just splatter him against a wall, it repainted the wall in his blood. Naraku swung her scythe missing entirely as she stared at the spectacle. Even she hadn't expected that.

After quickly dispatching another opponent, by painting the wall with him. Her attention went back to the king and she lunged at him. He managed to divert one of her scythe strikes with a telekinetic burst, but she swung out with a kick hitting him hard despite his block. It didn't splatter him, because he was clever with his telekinesis, but it did so some major damage. As the kick hit she heard and felt the bones of his arms crack and break causing him to wail out in pain. This moment was used perfectly and with a swing of her scythe she cleaved him in two from the groin upwards, causing intense pain as he died. She grinned and turned to see what her clones had left behind.

Her clones were deadly. The hammer wielded hadn't killed many, in fact only one, but that one was killed by shattering the skull. The man had successfully blocked one blow using his sword, but the sword broke and he was forced to try and use his arms. It hadn't been enough. The axe wielder had been equally brutal and had killed each of the opponents by cleaving them apart at the waist. Only one of its four targets survived this brutality, by dodging the strike. Yet this one was stabbed through the stomach by the sword wielded from behind who lifted the man into the air by the sword, grabbed the head and then with sheer strength tore the man in two. All of the opponents were dead.

Naraku's glory faded, but her Hell Incarnate form remained. The strength would be necessary in the transportation of the lacrima, which was in a massive crate. "If you head back to your guild later. Tell them about this. Tell them you saw the strength of the Hell Queen." she said to Brink as she, still coated in dark aura, and her three clones headed down to the lacrima storage area. Once there the weapons were either returned from whence they came, in Naraku case, or dispelled and the four Naraku's each took a corner of the crate and lifted. It would take a while to transport this back, but it seemed the best way. Of course, she'd have to dispel her aura before she reached the owner, but the clones would stay. "Let's go Brink." Naraku said as her and her three clones began to walk back towards the town.

After brink was struck with the sword, he yelled out in pain seeing as he hit the same spot the other swordsmen did. “What the fuck!” He screamed out in pain but as soon as the men where in front of him in a blink of his eye they were gone and only blood stained walls where felt. He looked at the around getting more and more enraged seeing as she was truly that strong should could have easily did this job in a better way or at least killed them in a way that wouldn’t be noticed. “Why are you so evil and full of hatred?” He closed his fist after putting away his guns he was beyond pissed at the woman. He only good see rage in his eyes and nothing the woman said or had done today would let him feel anything but greater hatred toward the dark guilds. “You’re one of the reasons I hate weak people!” He shouted out making sure she could feel the angry in her voice. H looked at her waiting for a response even though knowing her it would just piss him off even more. “Why would you show a slight sign of humanity left in you then proceed to make me hate you.” He was done with her as a person and a human being he could find no last shred light left in her body and her aura was so dark it did not matter. He simply put his hands in his pockets and started to walk off. “After these never come within a mile of the guild or I will make sure you are caught.” He left leading the way and walked toward the client house not looking back at the women for he thought if he looked at her, any longer, he would snap letting all his hatred run free and control his action and here he thought he had found someone who would come to the light side from seeing his bright light. He let out a sigh and looked up to the sky to see the shine in the world so he could possible calm himself.

Naraku listened to his words revelling in the anger that radiated from him, but one sentence he said stopped her in her tracks briefly. A very confusing statement. She was one of the reasons he hated weak people? Why? Because they weren't strong enough to stand up to someone like her? Or was she misunderstanding his statement entirely. "Hatred? I had no hatred for any of those that just died. Nor love, nor anything. They were obstacles and I removed them in the way I was taught." she said with a shrug and then decided to address him about his comment on weakness. "And what do you mean by that comment about weak people?" It was the most curious thing he had said during the mission and one of the strangest she had ever heard. The town was getting closer now, but it was still a long way away.

At his threat she actually laughed slightly. It was hilarious in all honesty. Here was someone who would likely be dead on this task if not for her and yet he dared threaten her. "Your guild knows of me well already. I have faced them in the past and in the war against Magnolia I scorched the memory of me into their mind....by destroying much of the city." she said. She didn't say it in a bragging way or with any real emotion at all. It was almost as if she was talking about the weather. "As for why I am how I am I was raised this way and besides...why choose to be good when evil is so much more fun?"

Brink ignored her last statement seeing as it wasn’t a threat but a great promise after being with her so long at his current rank if he used his electronic pulse he could easily spot her in that radius. “By the statement I mean weak hearted people who can’t face their own darkness in there hears or just going to the dark side for power or they simply have an evil soul.” He stopped for a moment clinching his fist wanting to turn around and slap the woman for being so evil and far deep in her own darkness. “I hate weak people of every kind whether it is for their strength or simply because their weak hearted and in your case you’re the weakest hearted woman I have come across. Why can’t you let that brief sign of light I saw shine brighter with everyday so that one day maybe you could live a life full of people and new adventures?” He couldn’t rap his mind around her not for she was complex but he could tell she choice this path in some way yet he could not tell how yet and he probably never would find out unless they continued to talk which he would prefer not to but sometimes it couldn’t be helped. “Just know it is not your strength that makes me hate you but the heart that lies within you.” He spoke in a very young voice but with a wise manner that would shock anyone with how a man so young could speak as though he lived for ages collecting his wisdom and thought on this manner.  “We are getting close to the clients house we should set down the crate outside and you dispatch your clones so he doesn’t feel there dark aura because they reek of it.” He let a disgusted look come across his face.

Naraku listened to his words and considered them for a moment then laughed as she placed down the crate and dispelled her clones and her Hell Incarnate form. Like he said, her aura was rather dark and would likely frighten their client too much for them to get the reward. "Perhaps, if I had lived a normal life I might have followed the path of light, but you understand very little about me Brink." she said to him and decided to let him know a bit about her. She didn't care, but it was something to talk about. Pus, she had a way that this might work for making things more interesting for her. Perhaps he might trust her again or perhaps he might attack her. Both would be interesting results. What would he do? That she was truly curious about. People were so interesting to her sometimes. "I was kidnapped at a young age by the elder demon of Envy to be trained and used as a weapon against the other demons. I reached an older age than this once before and then my 'mother' reverted me to a childlike form which killed her." she said simply without much emotion. These were facts, things that had defined her, but that was all. They did not upset her, nor did they enthrall her. They were just things that had happened. It would be like getting excited at the fact she'd got red eyes. It defined who she was, but it was just something there. Even if she had blue or purple or some other colour it didn't matter. Sure, she might of gone down a different path if it wasn't for that, but...there must of been some reason her mother chose her over other children. Perhaps she knew she'd become dark and wanted to use that.  "I was then trained and raised by the elder demon of Lust, not knowing much of my past, and he only increased my brutality. Now I am bound to the dark lord Lichborne within my very soul. Even if I wanted to I cannot leave the darkness" Yes, that was perhaps the one thing she didn't like. A choice had been taken from her, but she had gained power in exchange. It was certainly an...interesting trade to say the least.

"Besides...to complete my goal...the purpose for which I have this magic I must walk this path. I will not turn away from it. I will fulfill the wish of the demon who raised me, who loved me so much she didn't want to let me go and reverted me to a child so she could try and have me a bit longer. I will become the Queen of the seven realms of demonic sin and no force in this realm or any other will stop me." she said with a slight growl looking at him and then grinned. Yes, now to see how gutsy he really was. Would he attack her? Or would he do something else? It would be interesting to see the result. "But if you want to try Brink...give it your best shot."

Brink thought for a moment on what she said as they slowly started to reach the door and he stopped and turned around knowing the women would see him do so and would do the same. “Well know what I was not raised by anyone who loved or cared for me at all.” He stopped for a moment letting a little of history go seeing as they were sharing a little now. “I have no memory from before the age of seven it is simply a black blank slate and when I awake and had memory I was eight had was in a forest. There was no one and nothing to greet me simply if I wanted to survive I had to learn and adapt.” He stopped again seeing as this probably would not interest her but he wanted to get his point across.

“Anyway, I am telling you this because my path was surely meant to be a dark one if nothing else but I through myself to the other side because I couldn’t stand darkness in this world and I can’t say you following your ‘mothers’ last wish is silly. However, I do feel she made you young again to try to give you another chance toward the light. not simply to become more brutal and if that was her intent then why not let you grow older and stronger if being trained as a demon was true you would not age as a simple mortal would so you would still seem to be of the same age?” He paused wondering how she would react to this but before he could stop himself he had done the unthinkable and kissed this woman with the softest touch, he could provide showing his care and maybe his thoughts would get through a different way. However, as he pulled back is head he could not believe what he had just done he kissed a woman he saw slaughter men in front of him. “I am…so sorry.” He still was in shock from his own actions that may have but his life on the line however, he felt somewhat safe not knowing that the full reaction would be however he was simply luck they were in front of the clients door.

Naraku froze as his lips touched hers. It was the last thing she had expected, in fact it was so far away from what she had expected she didn't expect it all. He pulled away from her as suddenly as he had kissed her and apologised. Her fist raised itself, but she didn't hit him. No, instead she placed it on her choker, which was set with a red skull. "I have spoken with my mother's spirit...she freed me from the burden, but I have other reasons for fulfilling the wish now. You are not the only one who has lost memories. This will give me new memories each time I defeat one of them."

In truth that wasn't the reason she was after their lives. She wanted to fulfil the reason behind her magic. She wanted to fulfil that wish. She wanted the power of the seven realms of sin. It might be the only way to gain enough strength to break free of the Lichborne's hold on her. She had not lied to him at all. She did want the memories back, but it wasn't the only reason. She turned and knocked on the door.

Once the transaction was over with the man she walked away from Brink. "See ya around Brink." and with that she stepped into a shadow and vanished using her shadow step to teleport away.
