Birthday gift

So I had this idea pretty recently (and with recently I mean 15 minutes ago at the time I'm writing this)

So I was thinking we all have a birthday and what is one of the things we like to have on a birthday? Gifts! (and cake! Cake is also very important)

So the idea is basically when it's your birthday you can get something! As what the content of the gift is well... I didn't get as far then a small amount of jewels like 5,000 or 10,000 of course if someone else has a better idea for a gift that would be even better.

Not a bad idea really. I think a small amount of jewels would be best or a single item from the shop that is a certain rank or lower.

This caused me to think of something too. Could maybe have something that is an anniversary for members who have been here for a year or more and give them a reward for celebrating that too over just a symbol next to their name. Rewarding for continuous dedication can be a thing and would help members feel more appreciated for their time here. This is all thoughts though for now. Would be cool but that is up to what the staff thinks and others with either reward.

I really like both of these ideas x) idm if we do get anniversary or birthday but it all depends with the admins and mods.

Issue with birthday is that it's so easy to fake unless you're a known player. It's great when a new player joins and their birthday is the same day, but who's to say that won't be abused? Anniversary rewards are much easier to control on the site as a whole and would have overall better perks. It would either be a veteran kind of reward or just a bonus you get if you've been part of the site for more than a year, etc. It's either we measure it by how old the site is, or measure it individually by how long you've been on the site. I'm with either one.

Instead of Birthday gifts why not have it be based on your official join date on site?

• 3 months after joining.

• 6 months after joining.

• 1st year-

• 2nd-

• 3rd-

ect.   




This seems like a good progression that would both encourage old members and new members who are still fresh and experiencing the site and more likely to drop out.  




Just using jewels as an example to demonstrate value,  the scaling rewards could look something like:


• 3 months after joining-  15,000 | 1cc

• 6 months after joining-  40,000 | 3cc

• 1st year-  150,000 | 10cc

• 2nd- 400,000 | 25cc

• 3rd- 900,000 | 60cc




So more than just a doubling, each year is a lot of time and investment in a site.   Just an example.  *shrugs*   More unique things could be done.   For example there could be a large (100+) list of "Event item" type rewards,  and each milestone you get 1+year tickets to roll on it.
