A month has passed since Black Rose’s guildhall was destroyed… The effects of the incident are still widely felt among the guild, but finally things are starting to look up with the resettlement in Rose Garden. Or so it would seem…
It all started with the request of a rather odd sounding job. The Dryads of Runi Sanctuary and the Sanctuary itself have completely vanished. No evidence left behind at all to support the cause. A job tasked to Black Rose to investigate their disappearance. A group of wizards were sent, however it did not go as planned… Left behind at the sight of the Runi Sanctuary was a strange magical feeling. One most couldn’t describe unless they were wizards themselves. And before they could react, a spell was activated, engulfing the group and transporting them to another world… This world was an alternate dimension of Earthland, and was called Edolas. In Edolas, the laws of magic were very different. It no longer flows through the body, leaving the wizards without their powers. And completely helpless when another group came to capture them. And this “other” group just so happened to be the Edolas counterpart to the Earthland guild of Black Rose. However, they are far from the same. The motives of their clones are much darker than they had thought originally. Brought before the Guildmaster, everything is finally revealed. A young woman bearing an intricate looking red and white mask is leading this Edolas version of the guild. And as it turns out they were responsible for the disappearance of the Dryads at Runi Sanctuary. And that their involvement was just a small piece of a much larger and darker puzzle… A new threat is brought to light. Learning this woman goes by the name of Raze, she bears a personal connection to one of the Black Rose wizards, and plans to use the natural magical energy gifted to Earthland wizards in order to power an ancient and forbidden Edolas weapon. One that has the potential to absorb all magical life force within a very large area… And her target is Rose Garden.
Time is running out as the Earthland Black Rose finds their way into Edolas to rescue their missing guild mates. Soon the entire situation is revealed to them as well, and both Edolas and Earthland’s fate rest on the guild as they must find a way to stop their evil selves before both worlds suffer the consequences...

Welcome to the Black Rose guild event Darkened Skies!
This is a story driven event for all Black Rose guild members! However, unlike most events, you won't be RPing as a single character...
In this event, there are two versions of each character. There is the Earthland version, and the Edolas version. Each of you will be given the chance to assume the role of your Edolas counterpart with each post. How they move, walk, and talk are all things that are completely up to you. Except for their dark intents. How it'll work is simple. Whenever you choose to RP as your darker self, you will simply choose a different text color to represent their narrative and actions. You can give them completely separate posts, or divide it into your Earthland version's post. Anything goes!

Here's the twist. Because you're in Edolas. No one will be able to access their magic. Magic only works through magical items, which you are free to give to your Edolas counterparts. However these do have limits. If you do decide to give your evil character a magical item, its power must be equal to your rank.
This is an official event, and will act as a major plot for the guild's history after it is finished. It is meant to be story driven, forcing everyone in the same boat without the use of magic. All plot ideas are welcomed, but the main premise will stay the same. If you're interested in joining, simply reply to this thread saying so! And you'll be added to the roster.
