Oshibana Railway Madness (Request | Private)

Gosh… he was saying a lot of strong words, but didn’t feel that he meant it at all, due to his condition. He looked at the wizard, trying to look as serious as possible. The boss seemed to get serious too, as he just got hit twice by Mura. He lifted up his index finger once again, but this time, he charged away in the speed of light. “Huh? Where’d he..?” Mura asked confusingly, looking everywhere around him. He went close to the mayor, fearing that the wizard would attack him as well. “Stay close to me, mayor…” Mura said and the mayor couldn’t but obey. He really was in danger right now. Suddenly, a spark appeared in front of them, long enough that Mura could launch a slash towards it. But as his blade touched the bolting light, it disappeared and launched at Mura’s side, knocking him to the right. The bolt continued to attack Mura, who couldn’t follow the beam of lightning, charging around him. “Mura! Concentrate!” Kyuken shouted at him, hoping that he would hear it. And he did. Mura quickly moved back from the field and lifted up his blade, closing his eyes and remembering another one of his learned skills from his dad. As the bolt approached him in a great speed, he moved the blade up, causing it to cut right through the bolt that planned on taking him down from the front. The bolt appeared behind him, as the boss. His left arm had a big injury and the blood was flooding all over him. Mura looked behind him and moved his blade up again, waiting for the boss’ next move.

Everything was fading. It was like if the roads and the rocks just slowly disappeared into nothing, although it didn’t in reality. It was the thrill of this battle, which made everything around Mura fade away, as he stood in front of his enemy; the boss of the Dark Wizards, who had attacked Oshibana…

He had managed to hit him a few good times, but the boss was now so pissed that the currents around him was visible. “I’m going to crush you…” came out of his enraged mouth. He quickly moved up his right hand, pointing towards Mura, who quickly flew away with Alkia. Bolts followed his way, right from the finger tip of the boss. Mura flew up in the air, then charged towards the boss in order to evade the bolts and get closer to him. He had his sword on him, all ready to hit him one more time. The boss didn’t tolerate another hit on him, so he spawned a bolt in front of them in order to block Mura’s attack. “Darn!” Mura commented, as his attack was blocked. He quickly flew back from him and began to circulate around him, while trying to find a good spot to attack. The boss fixedly followed his movements, as Mura suddenly charged towards him. The boss launched another bolt towards Mura, but Mura ignored the bolt and went right through it; damaged, but still able to hit the boss’ leg. Mura fell on the ground, a few meters away from the boss. “Argh… that was too stupid…” he expressed. His Spirit Unity was used up and Alkia left his body, standing out in shock. “What did you just do, you idiot!?!” he shouted in astonishment. Kyuken was there too, he looked very confused. “Weird strategy, I say… but kind of effective.” He commented, making Alkia’s mouth hang in the air. Meanwhile, the boss stood behind him, with the sword that Mura lost from the impact. The boss quickly pulled it up and instantly broke it.

Mura only managed to spectate the blade break in two, with glittering pieces of metal spread like dust. The sound of the breaking metal was horrifying, painful. Mura couldn’t take it anymore; his beloved sword, Kyuken’s old sword. The sword that his father gave him for a long time ago. Without saying a word, Mura stood up with a face, filled with anger. That sword was special to him and the boss just broke it, that bastard. “Hehe, what are you going to do now, brat... your sword is no more..?” the boss proudly asked Mura, but he didn’t listen. Instead, he slowly pulled out his antiquity and pointed it towards the boss, spreading an aura of anger. “You… you’re done for.” he slowly and furiously said, looking at Kyuken, “Kyuken. Into the antiquity.” Kyuken had never seen Mura so angry before. He used to be a cool and calm guy, but that might have changed now. Kyuken did as he commanded and went right into the medium. The spiritual aura in the antiquity began to shine and slowly formed a sword-like weapon around it. The boss, who were assure that Mura was immobilized to fight, spotted the new spell and angrily shouted: “What’s this?! Another sword?! Well, come and get me!” Meanwhile the boss talked, Mura quickly charged towards him, causing him to flutter. Mura rapidly cut a giant slash on him, sending the boss to the ground.

The boss was pretty damaged now and pulled to the ground by an enraged Mura. The spirit blade was shining with raging, blue aura, as he moved it towards the boss’ face. “Wait… no, you can’t. You can’t beat me!” the boss shouted in insult and a bit fear. Mura was determined to annihilate him… until he moved the blade away from the boss’ face, turning back from him and walking away slowly. The sky was getting dark and the wind was blowing calmly, as he slowly turned his head back and said: “Leave this town with peace and I won’t harm you anymore.” For some reason, Mura felt that this was the right thing to do. The boss was exhausted, dreadfully injured and probably unable to fight; besides, it was a part of the samurai codex to stop the fight with opponents, who became unable to do any threat to anyone.

But the boss wasn’t that smart to accept Mura’s offer and slowly stood up. “No way that you’re… showing me mercy…” he slowly said, holding a hand on his torso injury. He moved his head up, looking furiously at Mura, then rapidly turning into a bolt of lightning, just like before. “You’re so done for!” he shouted for the last time, charging towards Mura and intending to cut him into pieces, but in vain. Mura was already ready, cutting right through the bolt and leaving the boss of the Dark Wizards in two, dead pieces. It was a harsh moment and Mura needed to stand still for a bit more time…

Mura slowly walked towards the broken blade and looked at it. He calmly pulled it up and held the shattered sword in a hard grab, as tears fell down his chin. After wiping off the tears, he towards the mayor, who was luckily save. The mayor had experienced the entire battle and was shocked to see the boss of the Dark Wizards dead. “Oh my god… you… you did it. You defeated those bandits..!” the mayor expressed in a relieved tone, “I give you my greatest thanks, young mage!” He quickly took Mura’s hand and shook it as good as he could. Mura was still pretty shocked after what just happened; he just killed somebody. “I… this is too much…” he slowly expressed with a sad and confused feeling, “I… did I really kill him? But…” His mind was confused and pretty grieved, but Kyuken laid a hand on his shoulder, while being in the antiquity. “Mura… it’s okay. He asked for it himself. Harusame... it can be repaired. Don't worry." Kyuken haven't repaired Harusame for his entire samurai life, actually and it never broke when being in the possession of the Kensho family, "Besides… I’m proud of you.” Mura looked at Kyuken, who smiled a bit, then smiled too. Meanwhile, the boss’ spirit appeared out of nowhere; apparently, he still had his attachments to this world. “What?! Did I just..?!” he complained all over the place, flying around as a confused brat. Mura, who still had his spirit control ready, quickly charged towards the spirit. “Time to go to the Hereafter, bastard!” he spoke out and slashed right through the spirit’s body, making it fade away with a glimpse of light. “Heh… now that’s over.” he commented, walking back to the mayor to get his price.
