100 Heads of Ladon - The Gold and White Dragons

Suddenly, as Heero pondered a building up ahead of him erupted over the street on which He stood.  A Golden dragon was thrown backwards, crashing through the home and was halted by the building directly across the street from it.  As it laid on its back against the ruined structure, a loud growl gurgled from the Dragon's throat as it peered in to the hole in the town that it created.  It struggled to get back up on to its feet, but before it could do so a white streak flew through the air in to the beasts belly.  The blow sunk deep in to its gut, forcing it back down to where it laid.  The White Wizard Shuhei, stood up on the now lifeless beast.  "And stay down!"  He shouted at the Dragon's face.  His head turned as he noticed Heero glaring at him and his kill.  Shuhei smirked and waved at his fellow Dragon Slayer.  "Heero!  Wonderful timing."  

Shuhei hopped off the Dragon and began to walk towards his comrade.  "I assume I don't need to explain the situation to you."  While Shuhei spoke, the lifeless Dragon behind him began to dissipate in to a golden vapor, as well as the ones Heero had defeated a moment ago.  "These Dragons aren't like anything I've ever seen before.  No matter how many I take down, they continue to multiply with no end in sight.  If we don't do something about it, we'll be overrun."  Suddenly, sensing something growing behind him, Shuhei turned to gaze upon the merging energies of the defeated dragons molding in to an even deadlier entity.  "Well this is new." The three defeated dragons had merged in to a far larger, three headed winged dragon.  The middle head breathing flames, the one to its right breathing venomous fumes and the left head seemed to drool sand.  Shuhei stood by Heero.  "Lets try to end this quickly."

Immediately as the Dragon Ladon spat its fowl flame at the two, Heero leaped to one side as Shuhei hopped to the other, kicking off the ground launching himself on to the side of a building, opposite Heero. Immediately the two began to run alongside the buildings on opposite sides of the street towards the massive Golden Dragon. Shuhei's arms flailed behind him, his sleeves fluttering past his hands so that he appeared to be a white ripple on the side of the buildings. The beasts left head turned to the White Wizard and snarled at him as an excess of poisonous drool dripped from its fangs. Suddenly it heaved and spewed a torrent of oozing purple liquid from its maw that splattered on the side of the building and slewed towards Shuhei who ran directly in to the torrent and was forced off of the building, landing near Heero as he was pounded by the downpour of sand. The buildings that were splattered began to erode and for a brief moment it seemed as though Shuhei's fate was sealed. But then...

"Radiance!"

A sphere of light exploded outward from within the torrent of poison sludge. Yellow sparks and white light enveloped the street as the two Dragon Slayers emerged unscathed from the Dragon's attacks and glared angrily at the Golden Ladon. Heero's eyes ruby red, Shuhei's emerald green. Immediately the two Dragon Slayers erupted towards the Dragon. Heero in a flux of electrical radiance and Shuhei in a streak of white brilliance. As Heero emerged from the bolt of lightning and pounded the left side of the Dragon's neck, Shuhei emerged from the beam of light, opposite him lashing his fist at the Dragon's right. Rings of white light rippled outward from where Shuhei's fists struck and one after the other it became a solid glow of white light as the sheer number of thrusts Shuhei pounded in to the dragon became uncountable by the naked eye.

RRrrraaaaah!" Shuhei roared as he and Heero threw back their fists and launched a magnificent final blow to the Dragon's underbelly, launching it in to the sky. Rays of light and sparks of electricity followed the Dragon in to the sky as Heero and Shuhei remained in uppercut position side by side. "But what goes up." Shuhei replied to Heero as he put his hands on his waist and Shuhei crossed his arms. "Must come down." The Hydra Ladons ascent slowed to a halt, and then he slowly began to fall back down to Earth. With an enormous crash he landed several meters ahead of the two triumphant Dragon Slayers, a waft of air brushed past them as the explosion of the Dragons landing sent up a cloud of dust and debris.

Shuhei glanced to the side and smirked. "Things are starting to get interesting." On the rooftop of the building next to Shuhei, another three headed Hydra Ladon with wings clawed its way to the top and snarled at the two Dragon Slayers. On the opposite side of the street, a third three headed winged Hydra Ladon appeared to face them. Finally, from within the dust cloud a golden glow emanated. Shuhei peered forward and smirked arrogantly. "This thing just won't quit." The Dragon they had just defeated emerged with two additional vicious heads and a pair of enormous wings. All five heads roared simultaneously, vibrating the ground on which they stood. "Lets do this Heero!" [/color]

Terrifyingly the many Dragons and Hydra's roared, like a thunderous storm over the town of Clover.  Quickly they attempted to overwhelm the two Dragon Slayers with sheer numbers and one by one they began to fall like insects from a bug zapper as they attempted to take down the two greatest Dragon Slayers in all of Fiore.  Shuhei lashed out at the swarm, striking one in front of him with the blunt sheath of his sword, knocking it out of the sky and then swiftly swung his weapon at another that charged at him from his side, sending it soaring through the air.  Another attempted to fire a breath of ice at the White Wizard.  Quickly he flung himself backwards to avoid it while another attempted to foolishly fire a beam of light at Shuhei.  With ease he swallowed the beam and sent it right back.  "White Dragon's Breath!"  After being enveloped by Shuhei's light, the Dragon fell defeated.  While Shuhei battled, Heero faced similar threats, coming at him from all directions.  "Man, there's a lot of them."  

while occupied with the swarm, the massive ten headed Ladon fired upon Shuhei.  He head turned to bear witness to the multi-element beam that threatened to eliminate him.  In a desperate attempt, he charged his arm with magical energy to try and weaken the blast, but in a flash he was then faced with a different scenery and swarm of Dragons.  He turned to where he once was to witness Heero in his place.  The Golden Slayer used the mark he placed on Shuhei earlier to trade places and take the blast in Shuhei's stead.  "HEERO!"  Shuhei shouted, as his comrade along with several of the swarm were enveloped by the Hydra's blast and vanished without a trace.  Shuhei scanned the area, but couldn't find where Heero ended up through the swarm.  He gritted his teeth, and clenched his fists.  He'd taken the fall for Shuhei, knowing that he needed to protect his guild from this threat, and also knowing that only he could muster the courage of his own Guild to do so.  Heero's heroic act that saved Shuhei, left him feeling angry and without mercy for the beast that thwarted his friend...

Shuhei's body began to glow white as the Hydra continued to roar victoriously.  Scales erupted from Shuhei's body and formed a silvery suit of armor.  A tail sprouted from his backside and antennae extended from his forehead.  Quickly Shuhei raised his arm to protect himself from the bite of a charging Dragon, taking the full force of it on his forearm which shattered the dragons teeth.  "You're going to pay for that!"  he shouted as he quickly spun in place lashing his tail out at all of the Dragons surrounding him sending half a dozen of them flying in all directions.  The real fight had just started!

OOC: Had to knock Heero out due to inactivity. He's not dead, he's just out of this fight until he's ready to return. How he protected himself is up to him should he return but for now we're under the assumption that he's out cold somewhere.

Zack had flown in as fast as he could to try and protect his guildmaster from the oncoming blast, but before he could get there the thunder dragon slayer had used some spell to swap the two and taken the blow. Even with his enhanced senses and his awareness of disturbances in the air around him he had no idea where the dragon slayer had ended up. As he flew down to join his guildmaster he ate a small amount of air to recover some of his MP. It wasn't much, but it would help.

There was a huge seven headed Hydra Dragon that looked like a tantalizing target. It would be stronger than the five header, but hopefully nothing he couldn't do some damage to. He watched as Shuhei knocked the dragon's away from him using his tail. Wait...tail? Since when did he have a tail? Was this the dragoon form he'd heard rumours of? It didn't matter too much right now. What he had to do was bring down these dragons.

He flew at the hydra dragon like a bullet holding his burning sword at the ready. The burning sword was made from the fangs of dragons from beyond the skies of knowledge and when it had become burning it had changed from black to gold. However, the flames were not just flames. They were particularly effective against dragons. He pierced one of the head's from behind going straight through eyes and managed to sweep up to turn and face it. It wasn't a dead head unfortunately. No, it was just blind. Which made his next movement all the better.

He didn't say anything to Shuhei or the dragon, but as it went to bite him with all seven heads he seemed to vanish. However, in reality he had turned into air and appeared atop one of the dragon's heads. "Yo deadeyes. I'm over here." he shouted. He back flipped off of it at the last second landing on the dragon's back as the blind dragon head tried to strike him and due to his movement it instead bit into the other head. He knew he wouldn't last long in a head on battle unless at full strength. So he would make it fight itself.
