On an early August day, the moon had overtaken the sky. The Oak household was grieving as they laid their newest son into bed, letting him fall asleep. He had a lethal illness. As the infants organs began deteriorating, his father placed his hand over the infants face and breathed his life energy into him. The father passed away later that night, letting the child have a chance to grow. That child was Clovis. Clovis was given life from his father, in the for of magic. Clovis was able to heal himself and live a normal life. The great act of selflessness from his father is the driving force for Clovis. He dares not to waste his fathers life, training and spreading his name everywhere to reach a level of fame that would show respect for his late parent. Clovis is an even mannered boy, loving to test himself in all aspects of his life. He cares for the members of his guild and family, and those two groups only. Having been given the gift of life, Clovis urges himself to spare others lives. He has a difficult time seeing the good in the world. Having been told the story of his father, Clovis looks at himself as a dark person. He makes his mistakes, breaking rules to achieve a life and status worth of his father. He spends his time studying, cooking, and training. Each night before he goes to bed, he thanks his parents for the life they have granted him.
Clovis took the gift, given to him by his father, and developed a magic that best fit him. He learned the art of Recreation, to become a part of the magic world that nobody else could be. He wanted the best way to preserve the last living memory of his father. Clovis looks up to his leaders with the utmost respect. He knows that their knowledge and teachings will be a deciding factor in him become an S-Class mage. Although he respects his leaders, Clovis is not loyal to one master. He realizes that not one person could teach him everything, thus he searches for every master willing to teach him. He will not abandon a master until all of his teachings have been passed on. Working as a team, is something Clovis does very badly. He tends to be selfish, and wants to fight as many mages as possible. He feels that it is the best way for him to learn When Clovis is in battle, he takes time learning his opponents abilities. He very much enjoys friendly brawls, seeing it as a chance to test himself. When he gets into a serious fight, with someone who is trying to kill him, Clovis become ruthless. He vowed to protect himself for his fathers sake. If he dies, he feels that his fathers gift has become a waste. He will protect himself by any cost, not thinking twice about taking someones life. Disregarding his actions in a serious battle, Clovis is a fair and noble fighter, not trying to win by dishonest means.
