Sephiria finished her song once she noticed that the villagers that had remained normal approach their downed neighbors, who had reverted back to their regular human forms. Sephiria should have felt some regret for nearly taking a few of their lives, but she couldn’t find it inside herself to regret it that much. Sure, as a defender of the people she had felt bad beating the stuffing out of the normally kind villagers. But as a mage and the realist she tended to be, she knew that they had saved them from a much worse fate. The council would have brutally killed them if they got out towards Fiore, so she had done what was the lesser evil. The people would have to respect that fact, and understand that Sephiria would do what was absolutely necessary to protect them all.

    Even from themselves.

Sephiria sighed when Ayeseru lifted her up, watching as a woman approached the two. When she told them that she didn’t appreciate how the duo handled the people, Sephiria scoffed underneath her breath. What did it matter that they were hurt somewhat? They were alive, and thats what she should have been grateful for. She should have been groveling in thanks at their feet, and appreciating that the two would even waste their ti-

Wow. Sephiria thought with a grimace. I have got to figure out what is making me act like this.

Sephiria snuggled herself comfortably in Ayeseru’s arms as he walked her towards the infirmary. She quite enjoyed her time with the shadow slayer, and hoped that she could spend more with him. When he placed her upon a bed, she quietly whined but nodded nonetheless. She didn’t want to be left alone with her brooding thoughts, but she agreed to let him go and retrieve whatever treasure they wanted to give to him. Left alone for a bit, Sephiria could now think about her newer thoughts.

They were cruel and violent, just like the dreams she had when she was younger. It wasn’t terrifying like back then however, she quite enjoyed these thoughts and what they represented. She had to keep them all a secret for now, as she didn’t have total control of herself and would probably slaughter all the villagers if she was in better health. While that might sate the bloodlust inside her, it would definitely earn her a marking as a dark guilder. It was going to be troublesome, but she would have to suffer for now until she could direct her insanity at the right targets.

Ayeseru came back, and the wizard saint asked for her to sit up. She did so, albeit painfully and slowly, and was rewarded for her efforts by Ayeseru placing a necklace around her neck. She smiled at the gesture and the necklace. She thought it was pretty, and quite enjoyed the look of it on herself. She blushed when Ayeseru said he thought it better on her than it would him.

“Thanks.” She muttered softly, before turning and looking at Ayeseru with a smile on her face. “You know, I quite enjoyed my time with you Ayeseru…..and I would enjoy spending more with you……...if it isn’t a bother you know.” She mumbled the end, her face bright red.

Sephiria wasn’t used to this type of stuff, so how could anyone blame her?
