Ayeseru couldn't help but smile; Sephiria had accepted his challenge with delight and excitement, or so it would seem.  He felt odd, something felt like it was stirring inside of his stomach.  It was a tingly feeling, one he wasn't familiar with; it felt slightly uncomfortable, and his desire was to find its cause.  Had he known what it meant, he would've welcomed it with open arms.

Ayeseru walked into the village "officially"; at this point, the sun had set completely, and the moon was rapidly advancing in the sky, in an unnatural and terrifying matter.  He made sure that Sephiria wasn't too far behind him at all time, preferring to walk right next to her most of the small journey.  It was strange, though, no one appeared to be around; the village was eerily quiet and void of sound and movement.  It was so quiet, in fact, that the silence itself could be heard if paid enough attention.

A slight movement, a brushing sounds from the bushes, increasing steadily; Ayeseru began feeling nervous, not for himself, but for Sephiria.  He had no idea how she would fare in a battle, as he had never seen her in action, and with some sealed power...  It would be tough.  All he could do was believe in her, something Ayeseru was quite happy to do.

The movements suddenly ceased, bringing about the eerie silence, only to be more silent than before.  There was a very strange rattling coming from the bushes; slightly different than the one previous.  Suddenly, a group of not one, not two, but three werewolves emerged from the bushes, releasing about as much magical energy as Sephiria did.  They were charging, only to stop at the sound of a deafening howl.

One of the big boys had arrived.

The white furred Lycan was warned to be the village leaders son, strongest only second to his father.  It came at him in a dash of absolute speed, nearly catching Ayeseru himself off guard.  He wasn't worried, though; in fact, he simply stood there, waiting for the "big bad wolf".  As Ayeseru blinked one particular time, his "good" eye turned into a dark shade of glowing blood red, as the other eye turned into a normal shade of red. The wolf was closing in, Ayeseru simply gave it a rather dull stare.

His reaction to the danger? Ayeseru rose up his wooden arm, in order to block the incoming fist that was flying towards him. Impact took place momentarily afterwards, sending out a shockwave and large amounts of dust flying out, only for the dust to retreat and then shoot out once again with twice the force. A crater formed in the middle of where Ayeseru and the Lycan stood, Ayeseru locked with it, grabbing its fist rather casually as it attempted to push and force his way towards harming Ayeseru and Sephiria.

Needless to say, Ayeseru was unamused.

As Sephiria walked alongside Ayeseru, she got the feeling that she was being watched. It wasn’t a good sense in being watched either, it was one in which she felt like death was right around the corner. Placing her hands on the handles of both of her blades, she made barely subtle movements with her hands and slid the blades out just enough so that there would be little to no resistance when she pulled them out for battle. The 3rd generation poison slayer tensed up, so that getting caught off guard wouldn’t happen as easily as she would fear.

Suddenly, there was a rustling from the bushes, and Sephiria’s eyes narrowed as she lowered herself into a defensive stance. This would be a harder fight than before, especially since she did not have access to her stronger spells at the moment. And despite her nature as a defensive fighter, she would rather be able to take the offensive in the middle of the fight and make her opponents pay for underestimating her. This was not that type of situation, and she would be regrettably forced to play it safe.

Maybe it was her dragon slayer blood thinking, but she was kinda pissed that she wouldn’t be able to cause as much harm as usual.

As the rustling sound stopped, Sephiria released some of the tension from her muscles. She stayed in her defensive stance though, not wanting this slight moment to allow her guard to slip. And just as she feared, three werewolves charged at the duo from the bushes. As Sephiria was about to draw her blades, a loud howl echoed that stopped the three wolves from charging the duo. As Sephiria was about to pull her blade out, something slammed into Ayeseru and forced her back a bit from the impact.

“Ayeseru!” Sephiria called out worriedly, hoping that her partner wasn’t too badly harmed. As the dust settled, the 3rd generation slayer sighed in relief as she noticed he was simply holding the wolf off with one hand.

    (Play: Never Back Down)

The other three werewolves weren’t stopped by the wizard saint however, and charged at Sephiria with the full intent on making the redhead puppy chow. Managing to avoid their swipes, Sephiria drew Gisen and allowed the blade’s aura to show, covering her entire body in a reddish glow.

“I care for what has happened to you all. But right now, I need to dispose of you all. So would you kindly…” As she spoke, Sephiria’s left eye started to change again, turning a pure blood red once more. Her features turned more feral, and she grew a bloodthirsty grin on her face. “Bow before your betters!” Sephiria’s grin increased as the three let out a fierce howl and charged her with the intent to spill her blood.

Too bad the same could be said for what Sephiria was now intending.

    (Continue: Never Back Down)

The three beasts charged Sephiria head on, a bit blindly if you were to look closely at the situation. The 3rd generation poison dragon slayer did, and she took advantage of this by easily dodging each of their claw strikes with little to no problem. Sephiria took a few potshot swings at them all, but wasn’t disappointed when she didn’t hit anything. Instead, she used her new momentum to kick one of the lycans in the chest, knocking it back away from her. The other two werewolves tried to pounce on her, but Sephiria managed to backflip over them and settle back into a defensive stance. The werewolves managed to regain themselves, and started to circle the poison dragon slayer. Despite the current situation, Sephiria remained calm and collected. She knew that the situation wasn’t in her favor, and that it would take a massive amount of planning to even the odds. But she was a dragon slayer, and if anything slayers always found ways to turn a crap situation into a favorable fight.

One of the lycans rushed at her, and Sephiria had to dodge a claw strike aimed for her midsection. Unfortunately for her, this left her back exposed open to a kick from a different lycan, which knocked her towards the third one. Sephiria managed to right herself and use the third werewolf as a jumping platform out of the circle of beasts. It growled at being used in such a way, and charged her as soon as she landed on her feet. Sephiria gracefully spun in a circle and slashed the charging lycan in the chest with her katana, making it whimper and fall back. Its brethren did not seem to appreciate their friend being injured, and both rushed forward at the same time, hoping to probably kill the young rising star. Sephiria just smirked deviously, and settled into a defensive stance again, but with one hand resting on her unused blade.

In a show of pure skill, Sephiria flicked her second blade out of its sheath and into the face of one of the charging werewolves. It knocked the beast off its feet, and it slid behind Sephiria as she charged the other lycan. The 3rd generation dragon slayer threw a kick at the beast, which forced it to jump out of the way. Sephiria used her momentum to flip backwards and grab Charles, which was descending upon the ground. Now with both of her blades in hand, Sephiria jumped further away from the trio of lycans in order to survey the situation. Two of them had been hit, and one was bleeding a bit more profusely from the chest wound than what Sephiria would have originally imagined. The damage she took was minimal, and it actually surprised her that she had managed to accomplish what she did.

So if that was the case, why did her left eye feel funny?

Placing her swords back in their sheaths, Sephiria took advantage of the slight standstill she was having with the lycans in order to rub her left eye with the back of her hand. It felt a bit funny still, but at the moment it wouldn’t be enough to stop her from fighting the beasts in front of her. Currently, one was trying to stand again after having one of her blades’ handle smashed in its face. Another was wobbling from the gash she gave it, and the third was just waiting on her reaction. This was a good situation for the poison slayer, as she could now plan what she wanted to do with each of them on their own. She had a special idea for the uninjured one, she just needed to get rid of his friends first.

Sephiria’s eyes shifted to the downed lycan. It was on its hands and knees attempting to rise once more, but she would have none of it. Running over with great speed, Sephiria jumped up into the air. She fell from the sky at a fast pace, and she moved her right foot slightly so that it was poised over the lycan’s skull. When she connected with its skull, a large sickening crack was heard and the poor beast had its entire head shoved into the ground viciously. The beast was most definitely knocked out as it had stopped moving at all, not even twitching. Sephiria had to bend down and check its pulse to make sure it was still alive. Once she was confident the lycan hadn’t died from her vicious attack. The other two howled in anger from their comrade’s fall, and charged at Sephiria with a renewed vigor.

Sephiria used the momentum of the bloodied lycan and jumped over its head, grabbing its neck and driving it into the ground. The lycan groaned in pain, but still got up and charged at her while its friend was chasing right behind it. Sephiria charged her right hand with a bit of poison magic and jumped at the two lycans. She punched the injured lycan in the face hard with her face, caving its face in slightly and pushing it into its friend. They both fell back, and Sephiria was certain that she had managed to knock them both out. Turning away, the poison slayer did not notice the uninjured third lycan moving its now unconscious friend off of it and growling. It charged the dragon slayer and punched her hard in her back, sending her flying in the direction of Ayeseru and the lycan he had been fighting.

It is worth noting that while flying away, Sephiria had been making a loud ‘eep’ noise.

Sephiria did not expect Ayeseru to attempt to grab her out the air. She did not expect for him to go flying along with her, thinking that his strength would be able to stop them in mid flight. She did however, eventually expect something to stop their flight, that being a nicely sized tree. When she landed, it wasn’t as painful as she thought it’d be. Ayeseru managed to stop himself from landing on her, but that didn’t stop the compromising position that the two had landed in from making her blush. From a different vantage point, the position was very much one would definitely not expect the poison slayer to be in. Thus why Sephiria’s blush just continued to increase until Ayeseru got off her and started apologizing rapidly. The 3rd generation slayer just blinked, before giggling and waving him off.

“It’s not your fault, its just something that ended up happening.” She tried to convince him, while still laying on the ground. She then pulled her legs up into the sky and bent them, before launching into the air and landing on her feet perfectly. It had been a while since she needed to do a kip-up like that, so she had to balance herself again so that she didn’t fall over like an idiot. Sephiria barely noticed Ayeseru kick the lycan into the tree, but she did hear the snapping sound of the poor tree taking the brunt of the damage and breaking in half. Sephiria could barely feel the lycan’s magical energy anymore, but she knew that the werewolf was probably just out cold and not dead. The final lycan, the one that the shadow slayer had been fighting, was getting back up on his feet again. Sephiria sighed, until she felt the wind blow by her as Ayeseru zipped over to the beast. As he threw it in the air, Sephiria felt a plan for what she was going to do if Ayeseru gave her the chance.

And when he called out for her to end it, she decided to act upon on plan.

Sephiria used all the speed she could muster to zip over to Ayeseru. Kicking off one foot, she landed on his hands from her jump and used him as a springboard to jump in the air. Once she reached up to where the lycan was, she kicked it in the gut so that its body would move to being level with the ground. She then wrapped her arm around its neck, and moved her body so that she was also level with the ground. Sephiria had always wanted to do this maneuver, as she had seen a different type of fighter do it as a young child. Apparently it was called a cutter or something of the sort, but that wasn’t important for the time being. Sephiria felt the two falling at high speeds towards the ground, and knew that while she would get hurt a bit that the lycan would take a high amount of the damage from the fall as well. It should completely knock the beast out, so she would gladly take the small amount of damage in return.

As soon as the two landed, a loud thud echoed. Some dust had kicked up in the wake of it, obscuring the view of the two fighters. When it had settled, Sephiria was standing up with a groan as she held her back with one of her hands. The Lycan was face down on the ground, unconscious from the force of the fall and having its face slammed into the ground. Sephiria looked towards Ayeseru with a smile, a pained one but a smile nonetheless.

“Haaa…..Ive been wanting to do that for a long…...long time….” She spoke with a pained smile on her face. It was worth it in her book, because there might never be a chance for her to ever do anything like that again.

Sephiria sighed when Ayeseru showed concern over her, although she couldn’t help the blush that had come onto her face. It was nice to have a guy show concern for her well being that wasn’t her father, and especially for someone as handsome as Ayeseru was. Sephiria started to dust herself off while Ayeseru helped her stand, and gave him a reassuring smile. “I shall be Ayeseru. Thank you for worrying over me, but these are only minor pains. They should go away soon enough.” She told him with honesty. It would not do to have him worried about her for the rest of the mission and not be able to effectively complete the job they had come out here for. While it would work for her to act the injured damsel, it was time for fighting.

    Flirting could come after.

Sephiria beamed brightly and her blush darkened as Ayeseru praised her for doing good work. It was nice to feel like she had impressed the wizard saint, as one of her short time goals was to become a wizard saint herself. It was something that her adopted father Reiki had done, so she wanted to follow in his and her mother Alye’s footsteps in becoming one. Sephiria looked around for a bit, and noticed that no more enemies had yet to attack the slayer duo. She heard Ayeseru begin to talk before being interrupted by a howl from the injured white lycan. It passed out, and that ended up calling in the calvary.

20 more lycans had ended up coming to the aid of their fallen brethren, and surrounded the two slayers. Sephiria was moved behind Ayeseru so that their backs were to each other. She gave a hate filled glare to all of the werewolves, for coming and ruining her opportunity to get closer to Ayeseru. It made her so angry on the inside, that her eyes turned a pure golden color with a dragon slit in the middle. It made her so angry….

That the 3rd generation poison dragon slayer went into dragon force on instinct.

    (Play: Dark Raven’s Cruelty)

Sephiria’s left eye changed from a golden yellow to a dark red without a pupil appearing to be inside it, while her right eye appeared to stay the same. A slew of dark violet scales began to cover the lower half of her face, forming a mask that hid her mouth and her slightly elongated teeth away from anyone who might have been looking at them. The scales continued down her face and covered her throat and upper torso completely, leaving her midriff exposed. On her back, the scales went all the way down to her feet, and covered every area of her back. The scales around her spine jutted out to form a sort of armor for it. The scales wrapped around both her legs, spiking around her kneecaps and ankles. Her hands morphed into claws, and her right arm grew spikes that contorted out of them.

But that wasn’t the only change in the poison slayer, as she had also unknowingly activated her lineage as well. This made her eyes glow in the darkness, giving both the red and gold ones eerie looks to them. Her aura was added onto, now having a blood red one on top of her regular purple poison one. This made her look even more intimidating and, to the people of the right mind, deadly.

Sephiria grinned from behind her mask as Ayeseru asked her if she was ready for chaos to begin. She cracked her knuckles, and responded in a bit of a distorted tone. Yet it was recognizable as Sephiria’s voice all the same.

“I am always ready for Chaos.”

Sephiria watched the carnage ensue from Ayeseru’s Shadow Dragon Roar. It was spectacular seeing the amount of damage that his attack did, especially since the poison slayer herself couldn’t deal the amount of damage that he had. Her attacks were painful, but they didn’t have the pure destructive capability that his shadow roar had done all on its own.

It seemed that she would have to grow even stronger if she wanted to keep up with her love interest.

Sephiria shifted into an offensive stance, and checked her blades to make sure that they were still in their sheaths. She would barely be able to control herself at the moment, and was assured that if she used her blades for attacks that she would kill the poor lycans. They weren’t themselves at the moment, and even in her rage induced state she didn’t want to murder innocent people. She wasn’t a cold blooded killer anymore, she couldn’t do that without feeling the repercussions.

Beating them into a pulp so that they didn’t continue attacking her, however, was a different story altogether. She had no qualms with that.

    (Replay: Never Back Down)
Sephiria charged at two lycans who were still stunned from the roar attack. She jumped up slightly, and cocked her right fist back for another punch. She slammed her fist violently into the lycan on the right’s face, and adjusted herself that so that her legs slammed into the face of the other lycan, This sent both of them flying, and at the rate their magical energy was declining they were probably out cold. Sephiria landed, turned on her heel and shot towards a group of three lycans. They had seen what she had done to their comrades, and managed to set themselves up in defensive positions.

It didn’t matter much to the Dragon Force empowered slayer though.

Sephiria stretched her right arm out to its full extent while running. She used her arm as a club to hit a lycan directly in the throat as she ran by, forcing it off its feet and to follow her for a good few feet before it fell off her arm and onto the ground. The 3rd generation slayer turned on her heel once more and dashed back towards the other two. They had began to run towards her as well, but as injured as they were the two didn’t stand much of a chance against Sephiria. The poison slayer jumped up and used her right knee to smash into the face of one of the lycans while still running, landing on her back. The lycan she had hit fell unconscious, a broken nose being the result of having Sephiria’s knee forced into it’s face.

Sephiria stood up, dusting off her skirt while seemingly unaware of the last lycan who was approaching her. It swiped at her skull, hoping to kill the poison dragon slayer and move on to the shadow slayer.

    It didn’t get so lucky.
Sephiria grabbed the lycan’s arm out of the air and twisted it until it made a cracking sound, one that reverberated through the entire area. She grabbed the lycan by the throat and, in a show of how strong she had become, she picked the beast off of its feet while holding it by its throat only. Sephiria then turned her body, using her momentum to slam the beast into the ground head first.

The 3rd generation dragon slayer then got up ominously and looked at the remaining lycans threateningly. Her distorted voice spoke once again, clearer than the last time.

“Which one of you want to be next?”

Sephiria didn’t waste much time to continue her attack on the lycans that were remaining. The poison slayer’s mind was on causing destruction in any way possible, and with every successful hit her bloodlust increased significantly. This could have been considered a bad thing, but right now Sephiria did not care. Her mind was starting to fog up and all she could think about was defeating her opponents. She would make a statement to anyone who crossed her, that she would show no quarter. She would pull no punches.

Sephiria would show no mercy to anyone who dared to challenge her.

    (Replay: Dark Raven's Cruelty)

The poison dragon slayer rushed at another duo of lycans, who had somewhat recovered from the roar attack but weren’t really in capable fighting condition. This is why they were no match for the powered up dragon slayer, in her bloodlusting state. Sephiria ducked both of their swipes when she ran by them, and quickly turned on her heel again in order to face them clearly. One of the two charged her, hoping to damage her badly enough to take control of the situation. Unfortunately for him, Sephiria was strong enough to pick his entire body up on her shoulders while he was in mid run. Sephiria then fell over backwards, slamming the lycan into the ground hard enough for the thudding sound to be heard throughout the entire village. The poor beast howled in pain, while its friends looked on in surprise at the situation. The second lycan charged at Sephiria while she was getting up, but she managed to dodge it’s attempt at striking her, separating them with a good distance. When the beast turned around, Sephiria had already gotten up fully and was ready to get back on offense.

The 3rd generation poison dragon slayer charged her second opponent with one move specifically in mind. Cocking her right arm back as far as she could, she roared loudly as she approached the lycan. The beast threw and connected with its claw against her, but the damage it did mattered little as Sephiria used her elbow as a battering hammer against the lycan’s face. Blood splurted everywhere, and the beast fell over unconscious immediately. Sephiria didn’t stop to think about her new injury or if she had actually killed the lycan, which she hadn’t, but instead she went and clocked the downed and still howling lycan with a kick to knock it unconscious.

And then she heard the sound of a body hitting the ground hard.

Sephiria turned, and absentmindedly noticed a group of lycans had also heard the sound. Sitting underneath a tree was Ayeseru, out cold and defenseless. The four lycans that had noticed him were stalking over towards the downed shadow dragon slayer, which had began to make the poison slayer’s blood boil. Her love interest was in danger and she was not going to let anything happen to him.

“Protect…...Ayeseru……..” Sephiria muttered, it being low and almost unhearable. The dragon slayer roared once more, and her eyes glowed even brighter and with a fiery intensity.

    “I WILL PROTECT AYESERU!”

(Stop: Dark Raven's Cruelty. Replay: Never Back Down)

Sephiria immediately ran towards the group of lycans. They stopped to hear what was approaching, and the two in the very back were greeted by one pissed off dragon slayer. The red headed mage grabbed the two by their heads, and cracked them together so hard the sound they made reverberated throughout the entire village just like before. The two were dropped from Sephiria’s grip, as she charged the remaining two lycans. She pushed one aside and kicked the other into the tree Ayeseru was under. The beast hit the tree and was stunned, giving Sephiria time to think of something to do to it. She grinned under her mask, as she had already come up with what she was going to do. She charged the lycan and the tree, and ducked her head so her shoulder would run into the gut of the beast. When she connected, she took the lycan and the tree both out, snapping the tree in half and knocking the lycan out cold. It didn’t come without a price though, as Sephiria was also damaged from the impact. She managed to stand back up, her face slightly bleeding but what seemed to be a content look in her eyes. The fourth lycan was slowly getting up, but she was ready for it.

This was what she was born to do.

Sephiria had a tough job ahead of her, and even in her bloodlusting state she could obviously tell that the tables were stacked against her. She was injured, and the lycans were slightly recovered from the roar attack that Ayeseru had done. Counting the ones remaining, there were 5 left with each of them still looking groggy. However, each one looked better than when the roar originally hit them. The 3rd generation poison dragon slayer on the other hand, had fresh injuries and could feel a bit of her body getting slightly numb. The lycans had not only the numbers advantage, but eventually could overpower her if things kept up like this. Ayeseru showed no signs of getting up from his unconscious state anytime soon, and he was probably the only hope Sephiria had of defeating the remaining lycans.

The poison dragon slayer was on her own, and from the damage she had taken it appeared that the lycans might defeat the two. Sephiria knew that defeat meant only one thing in the very long run for them; Death.

Sephiria launched herself forwards at the lycan that had made it over to Ayeseru’s downed body. The other four were fast approaching, and that meant bad news for Sephiria if she didn’t hurry. The lycan successfully dug its nails into Sephiria’s shoulder when she got near it, but the only thing it got out of the dragon force powered girl was a small grunt. Sephiria returned the attack in kind, using her knee to attack the gut of the werewolf. The beast grunted and doubled over, in which Sephiria took advantage of by using her other knee in the lycan’s face. The attack connected, lifting the lycan’s head upwards while blood poured from its nose all over its face. It fell over unconscious, which made Sephiria smile internally as that left only four more to deal with.

Four more that had gotten ever so closer to Ayeseru while she was dealing with their friend. One had started to get into a stance in order to pounce on the downed shadow slayer, but before he could even think about it Sephiria had ran over and stood in front of Ayeseru’s downed body. Protectively growling, she measured the four lycans, which had surrounded the two slayers and began circling them.

This job was not going the way she had wanted.

Sephiria continued to glare at the lycans who happened to continue circling the duo. Knowing the tables were stacked against her didn’t stop her from being protective of Ayeseru’s downed body. The 3rd generation poison slayer had no clue of what exactly had happened to the shadow dragon slayer to make him fall unconscious out of the tree like that. He was definitely much stronger than Sephiria; so if there was something that could knock him out with little to no struggle being able to be heard, the poison dragon slayer wouldn’t last very long against it. She was certain that she would probably be defeated by the remaining four lycans in front of her, her body barely being able to keep up the rapid pace she was going.

Yet the dragon slayer would never give up, as her life and another’s depended on her actions. She would die protecting Ayeseru if it came down to it; because as she thought in the grand scheme of things, her life meant little to nothing compared to a wizard saint’s. The magic council would find another person to be their tool afterwards anyway.

The thought made her blood boil in anger.

One of the four lycans decided he would make a jump for Ayeseru, but Sephiria managed to grab him in mid-air and toss him towards another lycan, who wasn’t expecting his comrade to be thrown at him. The two beasts collided, tumbling away from the two dragon slayers and their other two friends. Sephiria smirked, but gasped when she felt a claw strike connect with her upper back. She felt it leave a mark on her back, before she turned and attempted to punch the lycan in its throat. The beast had managed to duck the attack, but not her follow up reverse heel kick to its face, which knocked it down. Sephiria was tackled by the last lycan, who pinned her arms to the ground and roared loudly in her face. Sephiria responded in kind by roaring in the face of the lycan, a roar that actually made the beast flinch slightly. Sephiria smirked behind her mask, but gasped when she felt the beast claw her right arm. It hurt badly, and it took all her willpower to not scream out in intense pain. The lycan raised its claw, seemingly smirking at Sephiria while he was about to take her life in response to the damage she had done to all of his brethren

And yet, even in what seemed like her last moments, Sephiria only hoped that she had bought Ayeseru enough time to get up. If that was the case, then she would die with pride.

Post by Samus Aran 13th May 2014, 11:49 am

One moment, Sephiria was looking her death directly in the face with no regrets about how things turned out. She would die young and nearly unfulfilled, but she would hopefully save Ayeseru and in the end, more people would be saved in the future. It was a ‘Needs of the many over the needs of a few’ situation, but the poison slayer knew that sometimes people needed to be sacrificed in order to continue protecting the many.

And the next moment, she heard Ayeseru scream out her name. Suddenly, the lycan was knocked off of her and Ayeseru was now standing in front of her. The poison dragon slayer breathed a sigh of relief at the turn of events. Truthfully, dying would have sucked more than she would ever admit. There were a lot of things that Sephiria had yet to do in life, and she wanted to accomplish all of them before she even thought about biting the dust. Ayeseru had thankfully saved her from what would be an unfulfilled ending to her life. When he told her that he would handle the rest of the mission, Sephiria gratefully nodded. While she might be in her dragon force mode, she couldn’t risk overexerting her injuries to a point where she might kill herself just from the effort needed to move.

Instead, the poison dragon was content with sitting up with a pained hiss. Although nothing of hers was broken, her right arm was numb and barely moveable. This was bad, but nothing else seemed to be in any type of horrid condition. Sephiria knew her arm could get healed, so she wasn’t worried. The poison dragon slayer sighed and reached a hand to run it through her hair.

And that’s when she got the most horrifying news she could have almost ever gotten.

“AHHHHHH! MY HAIR!” Sephiria screamed out, as she noticed her hair had been cut down from its usual long mane till it was about neck length. While she wasn’t too much of a girly girl, Sephiria had prided herself on keeping her hair as a long luscious red mane. It gave her a more fiery look, in her own opinion, and thus she was extremely angry that it was now gone. “Bastard cut my hair! AGH!” Sephiria was going to stand up, but the pain was finally starting to catch up to her and she hissed again. Looking towards Ayeseru, the poison slayer growled and pointed at the remaining two lycans.

“Defeat them quickly, otherwise I will. And if I do, it won’t be pretty.” Sephiria’s eyes seemed to darken slightly, and a malicious grin formed behind her mask. Sephiria was really angry, and now she was starting to show signs of her old personality when she was young.

Starting to show really bad signs.

Shadowy Mist that Shines Brighter than the Moon! (Sephiria & ChaoticRumble) - Page 2 Empty Re: Shadowy Mist that Shines Brighter than the Moon! (Sephiria & ChaoticRumble)

Post by Samus Aran 14th May 2014, 5:04 am

Sephiria watched with a smirk behind her mask as Ayeseru went to take out the remaining two lycans for her. The thoughts running through her head weren’t the most pleasant ones, and she really wanted to go and eliminate those two lycans from existence. Normally, Sephiria would not even remotely have these thoughts, as her choices set her back away from the insane part of her life. But when she activated her newer power, something….snapped. Now the poison dragon slayer had a slight thirst for blood, and she really wanted to get rid of it before she went completely insane.

That would be very bad. Very, very bad.

Sephiria sighed as she released her dragon force, and noticed exactly how damaged her body truly was. She felt the pain from each and every one of her injuries, and she winced as she tried to move again. It hurt like all hell to the poison dragon slayer, and she made it known each time she moved her body a tiny amount by saying ‘ow’ every time she attempted to move even one part of her body. Sephiria growled, angry that she couldn’t get up herself. It was pathetic to the poison dragon slayer, and she was about to scream in frustration at the turn of events.

That was, until she felt Ayeseru lifting her into his arms.

Blushing once more, Sephiria nervously chuckled when Ayeseru mentioned that she could have gotten killed on the mission during her little outburst of anger. It was true, but the 3rd generation slayer didn’t really want to say she was lost in bloodlust. That would sound really bad to the wizard saint, who would no doubt go and try to get her help. Thing was, she liked the insane and cruel thoughts she had for those moments. They had made the poison dragon feel young again, like she was reliving the times she had back when she had been first abandoned by Desdaro. Those weren’t exactly happy times, but they were times she remembered.

And she hoped to never actually experience again.

The shadow dragon slayer sat down with his back laying on a tree while still holding on the now short haired red head, and began to stroke her shorter length hair. When he said he liked her hair how it now was, Sephiria blushed and ran her own hand through it. Her long hair was indeed getting on her nerves with how much maintenance she needed to keep up on it with, so this was a small win. Plus, her crush seemingly liked shorter hair, so that was a bonus. Sephiria already had questions on how she was going to make herself become a closer part of her family, and what better way than dying her hair? Sephiria grinned beside herself, actually happy with the turn of events.

Sephiria’s eyes darkened when Ayeseru mentioned that the Magic Council wanted them to stay after the job was completed for a treasure from the villagers. More than likely it was a gift for Ayeseru, and that meant that the poison slayer’s part in this job wasn’t likely mentioned by the council. Her anger towards the Magic Council grew more, and she started to feel something in her left eye.

It itched, but she could ignore it if she tried.

“Okay. I don’t really have anywhere else to be.” Sephiria stated rather bluntly, and harsher than she wanted to. It wasn’t the shadow slayer she was angry at, but she couldn’t help herself. The rage she felt was going to lead to bad places, so she began singing a song that she remembered her dear sister Rose once teaching her.

    (Play: Sephiria’s song)

As she sung, Sephiria stroked her arm. She worried for her sister and the new attitude she had seen from her. Things were going to be different for the slayer, and that wasn’t always a bad thing.

But it wasn’t necessarily a good thing either.
