Markus gave a long yawn and took a deep breath. He was not used to traveling this early, and only preferred waking up after the sun had set. Looking up he had to squint his eyes to avoid the evening sun, the light caused strain on his vision. The mercenary was on his way to the Ace of Spades, and he had almost arrived at his destination. He should be there by morning. The desert seemed to expand around him, the sand shuffling underneath his boots. The mountains in the distance causing the small natural desert. Markus knew the city was near, Ace of Spades was home to Sabertooth, a guild he knew little about.

Markus, was dressed as usual. He wore plan black jeans, and a sleeveless shirt, over which he wore a long and worn dark coat. His arms were wrapped with grimy white wrappings, and around his neck he wore his scarf, also black. One would wonder if Markus had a theme, he just thought it was practical, despite the heat usually associated with a desert.

As he walked he felt the wind start to rise, faster and faster. Within a few minutes Markus found himself within a heavy sand storm. His eyes started to sting, the sand make his face raw. Markus made sure to pull his scarf over his face, and his hood over his head. After glancing around, he noticed a cave not far off, and quickly rushed inside.

Brushing the sand out of his face, and beating off his cloak Markus looked around, taking in his surroundings. The cave seemed to be made of a rough limestone, one which is typical for deserts and mountains. Markus noticed that the it seemed to continue heading deeper underground. He took a second to catch his breath, and decide what to do next.

Sand. It was one of the few things that Aven truly, truly disliked. Beach sand was fine, in the right circumstances, but what most people tended to forget is that sand is quite literally just tiny rocks, and their weight versus the planet's gravity ensured that even the weakest hydrogen bond could hold it to a surface. Being that Aven wore a variety of suits even as casual wear, sand had a terribly annoying tendency to get everywhere. In his shoes, between the lapels of his shirt, in his undergarments somehow, it seemed there was no place safe from the infestation of gravely uncomfortableness. Thus, as Aven found himself traveling toward Ace of Spades, there was no lost love for the terrain. His only solace from the annoyance was his Demon form, as every time he transformed, he would temporarily nullify the hydrogen bonds of the sweat and sand, and the sand would slough off of him like a wolf shaking water from it's fur. Given that he could switch quite freely between the two forms, he did so with impunity as he made his way across the barren landscape. To an onlooker, it would be a comical but confusing sight, his form constantly switching between a large demon with emerald green rune engravings all along it's body, and a young man, impeccably clean shaven, with short white hair, emerald eyes, and dressed to the "T" in a white suit with a matching green cravat tie.

As he walked, the young wizard felt a wind pick up. He observed in the distance, the rising of a sand cloud, and his eyes widened momentarily. A sandstorm?! His luck was terrible that day; first sand, and then flying sand. With a quick scan, he spotted a cave in the near distance, and he took off in a bolt toward it, temporarily ignoring all the tiny rocks that were being seeded into his shoes and socks. He could clear those out later.

Aven reached the cave just in time to get full shelter from the storm. It was limestone, typical for the region. Still, there was something off about it. He inspected the walls, as he ventured further in, and sure enough, he'd been right: there was a repeating pattern in the limestone. Not only would that not occur naturally, it was a dead giveaway for any structure made by Maker Magic, or similar earth based magics. Practitioners of Maker magic, in specific, tended to perfect a certain cadence for their Make susbtance, so that it was second nature to form it, and all they needed was a shape based matrix. In more detail, the specific atomic structuring pattern was a set part of the magic, making shape the only variable the Wizard in question needed to control; very effective for quick casting. For building, however, it did leave obvious signs.

Just as he'd finished his inspection of the limestone, he sensed the magic of another wizard. turning to spot a slightly weary looking traveler, dressed in black and white. Aven performed a small bow in greeting, sweeping his white metal cane in a flourish. "Well, hello, there! My name is Aven Alveron, it seems we've chanced on the same shelter. May I ask your name, as well?"

Sandstorms. A natural phenomenon to which I was wholly under prepared for. First off, I was ill-dressed for the occasion, wearing grey denim jeans with black leather boots, a Merlot red silk blouse, and sunglasses. I didn't walk, of course, as no one was around to need that. my wings did not flap too often, until the aforementioned aggravation, to which I was forced to land, with sand becoming an annoyance more often then I was expecting. As the day grew darker, even through the sands that surrounded me, I stumbled through sand, and over dunes; Seeing only mountains to my right, and just barely, and desert sands stretching as far as I could see. I stumbled on for an hour or so, before meeting the lip of a cave on my right. I followed it in for a moment, before shaking off the sand, getting it out of my hair and shoes, before sitting down, and resting my aching feet. To the first time in ages, I heard the tell-tale signs of rustling, and turned to see two boys sitting in the cave further in, with a seraphic figure keeping an eye on one of them. I looked around at the walls, walls that I noticed far too late that seemed unnatural in construction, before turning my eyes to the boys down the tunnel. One seemed quite dapper, having white hair, wearing White suit, with what seemed to be a green necktie as an accoutrement. The white haired boy seemed quite interesting, giving his name, and behaving in a polite manner, to a man who seemed, for a lack of a better word, worn. His clothes were fine, if a bit ragged but the poor boy permeated this aura of emotion, one that just exude loneliness or sadness. His hair was red, and he was slender, strange for a boy of his apparent age, though not unheard of. I finished removing sand, as far out of sight as possible, from all my clothes, and redressing when I felt I was clean, and pressed forwards, tying my lavender hair into a ponytail, letting the ringlet locks fall in place. I stopped around fifteen feet away from the two, standing behind a rock with my elbows planted firmly on the flattest surface I could find before floating my back legs behind me, saying: "Well, now isn't this a lucky surprise for little ol' me. Two dashing young princes, both here to accompany me through my trials and tribulations through the desert." I giggled a little, before continuing on: "Ah, I'm just joking around with you. I don't know your names, so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Lilim, and my last names are too long and too time consuming to even list aloud, so just call me Lili if you wish." I looked back over my shoulder at the angel for a moment, before continuing on trepidly: "It'd be a kindness to introduce yourselves, if you don't mind."

Markus could still hear the sandstorm raging out side, he hated sand, and was having trouble getting it out of a few areas. He finished catching his breath, muttered to himself, and decided that his curiosity would win out, forcing him deeper into the cave: of course. No sooner then had he made the decision did he feel it, a slight pull to the back of his mind, almost a whisper or cool breeze warning him, preparing him. Someone was entering the cave, and they were magically inclined.

As always he adapted to his cool exterior, acting as if he hadn't a care in the world and waited to access if the stranger would be friendly, or try and take Markus's meager possessions. Pulling his scarf off his face Markus saw the man when he walked closer. He looked to be about Markus's age, and was very well dressed in a white suit with a green tie. Markus was surprised to see such a man in the desert, and, at first, more surprised to see him without an escort. That was, until he remembered the magical aura. This man was a wizard.

Markus watched, surprised as much as delighted, when the man preformed a small bow and introduced himself. He definitely wasn't use to it, most well dressed men Markus met assumed, rightfully he would admit, that he was homeless, maybe even a vagabond. Markus knew to withhold judgment and a small smirk came to his face. 'This man was... interesting.' he thought. Had they met in another life, and different place (meaning yesterday, and a back alley, or crowded street) Markus would have been tempted to pilfer he mans pockets. This time however no such thoughts crossed his mind, it wasn't often one met another wizard, even in Fiore. He thought he might like the man, though that might just be his appearance.

Markus gave the man another look over, and was about to speak when he felt it once more : the same whisper, the same warning, the same pull. 'What were the odds.' Looking over Markus saw her, and questioned how he missed her. She looked younger, but not be much, an d had lavender hair, pulled into a ponytail. She was leaning... no floating, 'that would take some getting used to', on a rock, her legs up behind her. This day just seemed to get more and more interesting.

Her giggle felt oddly like a trap, and he decide there that he would not fall into it. He survived homeless this long by not falling for pretty boys, or girls. Both of these newcomers fell into category.

"Well, it is... nice...to meet you both..." Markus said slowly, his signature self assured half smile upon his face. He voice seemed cold, but assured. Just as with the man Markus was certain to give the female a once over. "And, I'll be your prince if it means I get a nice suit." Markus said looking again at the man, "Especially if I looked that good in it... Though it would have to be black...", he said even though he thought something different, 'however the white is a nice color'. To some Markus's cool tone yet slight advance would seem to counteract one another, at times seem like at flirt, at others a dis. However, neither was true. He was hoping to keep them on their toes.

"My name is Mar...," Markus started before stopping and taking a forward, spinning on his heels. Out of the three of them he was the farthest inside the cave, and almost missed it. Standing in the halls of the cave, three soldiers just arrived, however they were different. Their armor was warn, their weapons degraded. Oh, and they had no skin. 'yep, skeletons.' Of course Markus couldn't have a normal days travel, ever since that day this always seemed to happen, Markus had just finished reflecting when the skeletons attacked, rushing forward.

Markus had always been quick on his feet, and even quicker with his mind. As always he took a second, avoiding attacks from one of the skeletons while the other two went for the strangers. He knew the others were magically inclined, the woman made as much obvious with the floating, and they probably knew he was too. Markus however had learned that magic had unexpected consequences, and without knowing more about the other two decided he would do this the old fashion way. He knew he was in his element, the darkness seemed to lean towards him, as always he felt at home in dark places and needed no light to do the job.

He dodged a slash from his assailant, they were swift but luckily slower then a hungry thief with a knife. Slow enough that Markus was able to get a power strike in with his knee, keeping his hands at the ready he took a step back. However he made a mistake, he was interested in seeing how the strangers handled themselves, and knew whatever they did would tell him a lot.

This distraction caused him to narrowly avoid another attack, this one close enough to put another cut in his coat, maybe even his shirt, and bring him back into the fight. However their distance gave him the opportunity he needed, with a quick combo he got two more strikes into the skeletal warrior, the three heavy attacks being enough to take it down. Markus was glad that the cave was dark, being in his element comforted him, he knew had this had happen in the broad daylight outside he would look the fool, and be quite handicap.

He knew that skeletons were weaker to bludgeoning, which luckily bare hands counted as otherwise that might have been embarrassing. However, bones and armor stung a lot more then flesh and his hands were complaining. He signed and looked over. In one way or another the strangers had taken care of the other assailants. He was certain to keep a mental note of how, after all if he had to fight them he needed to keep everything in mind.

Once more Markus molded his face into his signature smile. "As I was saying," He continued as if nothing had happened, "My name is Markus." He did not bow, but he did give a noticeable nod of his head. "And, today is turning out quite interesting." He walked a little more down the cave, just a few feet before looking back. "Am I the only one interested in where they came from? Skeletons don't just 'happen'"

Markus continued walking, despite the appearance he showed, and had mastered, he was uncomfortable in unknown situations and was on edge. He had no problem letting either of the others take command, but he was making sure they knew one way other the other he was going down.

Aven smiled warmly at the new arrival, a small laugh escaping his mouth. It was a young woman, perhaps a few years younger than him: he could never really tell with women, to be honest, so he never alluded to age or status in that way, especially when many 'young women' he'd met in the past while had been hundreds of years old, and simply taking a youthful appearance. The wizarding world was strange, indeed. "You flatter me, Miss Lili, though I assure you, I am no prince!" He swept into an extravagant bow, a bit fancier than the one he'd given Marcus, by principle. As he did so, his emerald green guild emblem would be plainly visible on the back of his hand. Behind him, the angelic figure turned its head, glancing further down the cave with a hint of worry. "Aven Alveron, of Fairy Tail, at your service-" As he straightened, however, the clack of bones and armor interrupted him, and Aven's eyes quickly darted to the side, where three skeletal figures were crashing the party, one directed at each of them.

Aven's mind quickly went to work. The skeletons emitted only a sparse necromantic aura, faint enough that he could surmise they weren't recently raised. Guards, perhaps? It would be concurrent with the artificial nature of the limestone, pieces slowly fitting together. They must be guarding something. The armor was worn from the years, though many chinks and rust holes that could normally be exploited to strike at an opponent's flesh were useless because of their skeletal nature. Given that they weren't recently raised, however, that meant once they were knocked down, there was likely no one to reanimate them.

Dancing back two steps, Aven positioned his feet in perpendicularly, drawing his cane back in a rapier like fashion, before thrusting forward with the metal orb at the top, the strike landing a solid hit on the chestplate and fracturing several of the Skeleton's ribs. Aven fighting form might remind an onlooker of a ballroom dancer, or an acrobat, his motions fluid and purposeful At the spot where he struck, a purple magic circle appeared, two feet wide, as Aven spun backward to evade the slashing counterattack. He kept his momentum flowing, as he activated the magic circle, causing the skeleton to teleport directly in front of his spinning strike, the centripetal force knocking it's helmet straight off, before Aven completed his rotation by bringing the cane down directly through it's skull, completely shattering it. The rest of the body dropped into a head of rusted metal and bones.

It seemed Miss Lilim and the other young man, who promptly introduced himself as Marcus, had also made short work of their assailants. Nothing was lost on those two, a reassuring thought. Perhaps their goals could align for the time being: after all, the sandstorm was still raging, and there was nowhere to go but further in. He took the opportunity to respond to Marcus's observations with his own. "Indeed, they don't: in fact, I was inspecting this cave for a bit before the three of us collided, and by the pattern of the limestone, it's evident that this is a magically constructed structure, not a naturally occurring cave. With the presence of what I'd presume were skeletal guards, it's safe to reason there's something intriguing further in. My curiosity is burning, you're definitely not the only one whose interest has been piqued. What about you, Miss Lili?"

Behind Aven, invisible to him and Marcus, the angelic figure levitated peacefully, turning to the young girl at her behest for introductions. He wore long white robe, six brilliant gold plumed wings extending from his back, all beating in a constant, near hypnotic rhythm. Below his long and flowing silver locks rested two gentle golden eyes, which closed briefly as he bowed his head to Lilim. "Greetings, child of light and shadow. I am the Seraphim, Aviel: he who walks among the light. I did not expect to meet one such as yourself in this place, it is a pleasure." The angel's smile was warm and inviting, almost identically to Aven's. In fact, even their faces were strikingly similar, to the point that one could easily assume a family resemblance.

It was unusual, seeing both those boys ignore my charm effect, as most those around me were always fauning, though both were amusing In their own right. I especially liked Markus' quip about a suit,
but the time can come for that later, as I was approached by the third of a group of skeletons, the other two headed to Markus and Aven. I yawned as it slashed at me, to not so great effect as I dodged around the sweeps with ease. I watched Aven and Markus take care of theirs with ease, and both using blunt instruments to dispatch their foes. I then ignited the cracking skin of Caine onto my arms and hands, seeing Veins split, and spit blood out in a torrent at first then slowing to a trickle of crimson running down my arm before dripping off my elbow. As the last slash I counted came forward, I ducked to the side of the blade and grabbed the arm and skull, spun them in a circle with ease, as the bones were dragged through the air by the weakened magic animating it in the first place. As I finished spinning, I raised the skeleton by the head, armor coming to a clanking stop as it rattled on the dessicated bones of this creature, before slamming the head of the skeleton into the stone floor, smashing it to shards. The skeleton tried to rise after the head flew to pieces, so I stomped the spinal column into the ground, which seemed to stop it from moving afterward. I took a breath after that, and yawned again, as this foe was not much of a challenge. I turned to the two others, with a bemused expression on my face beaming through to the other two. I sighed in feigned exasperation, before saying to them:

"Well, I have nothing better to do today, so why not? Also, Markus, if you end up being useful, you will definitely have earned that suit."

I then nodded to Aviel, noting the slight indication of non-awareness Aven had in regards to Aviel, and, with great subtlety, said to Aviel only:

"Hello, Lightwalker. I was surprised to see on of your station following this one."

I then walked past the two into the mouth of the underground pass, looked on, and said in a amused voice behind me:

"Well, are we going or not?"

Markus grinned as the girl took the lead, she was attractive to be certain, and
Markus could feel his mind wondering. As she called back with an amused voice he was certain to follow. Not that he was arguing. Looking to his side Markus glanced at the man who had introduced himself as Aven. He had noticed his guild Tattoo, Markus was not one to believe in the ‘guild society’ so many wizards were fond of.

“So, Guild wizard eh?” He asked, his voice not quite accusatory but definitely not warm. “And, what of you Lilim? Do you shackle yourself as well?” Markus knew there were benefits to Guild Life, strength, power, resources, better contracts. He just wasn’t sure if it was all worth it.

He was thinking on how his companions had taken care of their assailants, cataloging what he had seen, and if the others wished it he would speak with them, make ‘small talk’ although he was not a fan,. If they talked, he tried to keep the conversation off of him, using ‘guilds’ and his contempt as an excuse.

More than anything he was certain to catalog everything that was said, as well as the manors of his compatriots. He was very interested in both of them, for different reasons, and knew that any knowledge he could gain might help him down the line.

Shortly, as if guided by luck, fate, or just a knowledgeable girl with lavender hair the three arrived at a large stone room, they stopped before the door weary for traps and more skeletons.

The room was made of stone, the limestone carved with purpose. In the center sat a large square slab, some writing on it Markus could not make out. Next to the slab was a man, in his hand a large pole arm with a wide curved blade at the end. He seemed to be trying to get the slab in the middle open, his hands were pushed against it.

Markus took a split second to reach his hand out, darkness started to coil wrapping around his right arm forming vines with sharp thorns. Spots of red appeared along his arm where the thorns pierced his own skin.

He was unsure what the others would do, but he knew the tactical advantage of surprise all too well.

Aviel simply smiled at the question, glancing over to his charge as a small golden light visible only to Lilim shone within Aven's chest. It had the same warm, gentle glow as the light surrounding Aviel, a small pulse as though it were matching the rhythm of his heart.

Aven cocked an eyebrow as Markus took a veiled jab at guilds: he must have seen his Fairy Tail emblem. With a small dissatisfied tap of his cane, Aven took the initiative answering, his voice as light as his footsteps as they sneaked along the wall. "I'd not call it a shackle, rather, it's a bond. From a certain perspective, I suppose that bond may seem like a leash, with the Guild Masters and the Magic Counsel tugging constantly to keep wizards in line. He smiled lightly. "In only a small twist of fortunes, however, what could be seen as a leash is the very bond that ties you to dozens of other wizards, a bond of loyalty and courage. If I were in trouble, Fairy Tail would be there to help, and as a wizard, the future is always uncertain."

They came upon their destination quickly, to Aven surprise. With hushed tones, they watched the man pry away at what seemed to be a resting place. It was engraved with symbols Aven thought he recognized, but from the distance, he couldn't make them out. That polearm... combined with the figure's disheveled and dirtied appearance, it was obvious he meant business, and he probably wasn't interested in talking. Aven could usually tell such things from looking, something about their aura was a clear tell for their intentions. fortunately, they had the advantage. Aven leaned in close to Lilim and Markus, as Markus summoned some kind of whip from darkness. That was certainly interesting... he spoke in a mere whisper. "I"ll take care of him, be ready in case he has a any tricks up his sleeve." With that, he hovered his cane over the ground in between them, giving a small breadth so they could all attack easily, and a myriad of magic circles began to appear, all stacking close on top of each other while slowly rotating: one grey, which immediately shattered as a pure white one appeared, causing the white to pulse, as well as one yellow, and finally, a purple circle. The white circle multiplied, becoming three pulsing circles, as total of five circles stacked directly on top of each other in front of Aven.

With a quick flourish, Aven pointed his cane toward the man, and the purple circle disappeared, before the next instant, in the blink of an eye, the man was standing directly within the four remaining circles, a small Glyph pulsing on his chest, triggering all of them. The next few moments were quite a sight to behold: lightning coursed through him with extreme vigor, causing him to twitch, while a brilliantly white barrage of twenty-four arcane bolts struck him from all directions. With barely a sound, any cries stuck in his throat from the abruptness of the attack, he collapsed onto the ground, completely and utterly unconscious. With a poke of his cane, Aven chuckled slightly. "He'll be out long after we're done here, but he'll live." He strolled forward, the threat neutralized, on his way to take a closer look at the stone slab.

Amused as I was, I started to grow peeved at Markus, thinly veiling his disdain, and insults, to those he called "guild mages", using the phrase as a pejorative title. I looked at him cross for a moment, before chuckling to myself, despite the circumstance, and reason; not to. I looked at him for a moment, while my hands reached up, tapping the small metal brooch in my hair, which granted me the aesthetic pleasure I so loved. I ran my fingers through my hair, fading out the purple into a copper orange, before tracing my jawline into an elegant "heart" shape structure. I grew a couple inches, all the while still looking at Markus and walking forward. I finished with my skin tanning very slightly, and my irises matching into a bluish silver color. I finally spoke as we neared the next room, saying in my slightly jovial tone:
"Yes I am, Markus. I work with the guild Lamia Scale, A guild about monster hunting. I don't know what your qualms with guilds are, but they make it easy for me to find jobs to do, and give me a place to stay, which in turn gives me a nice place to nap."
I turned away from Markus at that, finding myself in the room they entered, last. I stood there and watched as Aven annihilated the man, leaving him unconscious and spasming on the unnatural stone floor, his steel weapon of which I saw for a few moments, clattered to the floor astride his quite literally lightning struck body. I didn't get to see where the 24 holes in the man's clothes and armor came from, but I can safely say that assuming it also came from my companion who stood aside me for a moment, was not the least safe bet I could have made. I watched Aven move to, and mess with the stone tablet lid that covered what was assumed, by me of course, was the final resting place of someone long dead. I walked up, and with the ease of pushing aside a large pillow, I pushed the lid off the sarcophagus, and revealed a skeleton garbed in red and gold, holding a gold orb with lines and circles engraved into it. Looking at it, and with both child-like glee, and a raiders somber realization, I took the golden orb from the hand that held it, and looked at it with a sense of Child-like wonder, moved away from the tomb of the man, and began to fidget with it. I started off amused, then after a few more minutes, I grew frustrated, before I found one of the circles depressed, then the orb's northeastern hemisphere rotated counter clockwise, revealing a map, one which detailed my position, and magically recreated in the air around me. I looked at them both, before shutting down the map, and looking sheepishly at the two, holding the orb behind my back, with a clenched hand holding it tightly. I looked about the room for a few minutes, all the while pressing my back, and the orb behind it, into the wall behind me. Pressing my back against the orb, and subsequently the wall, I looked at both Aven and Markus, eyes flicking between the two, before saying:

"Well boys, I have something I'd like to keep quite a lot. I would be rather pleased to hear you be alright with that, but I'm willing to hear arguments."
I grew tense for a moment, as Aven had demonstrated an... interesting power already, and yet Markus still had a tendril of shadowy plant matter. Thankfully for me, however, I had yet to reveal more than two of my tricks. With no visible actions after a few moments, I relaxed slightly, holding the orb in front of me, though still tense in my hand. I let the cracking form of the hands of Caine drop, and kept my eyes trained on them, before speaking in a less tense tone then prior: "Sorry, I'm rather attracted to things that have a gleam, shimmer or shine. I like gems and gold, or things of great beauty. I'd still like to keep it, please don't misinterpret, I'm just apologizing for my... rude behavior." I then sighed, and walked closer to them, holding myself in good posture while looking at them with determination in my eyes. "Well, I hope that I keep it. That's the last that I'll say about it."

Markus couldn’t help but smirk to himself, of course they were protective of their ‘guilds’, most mages were. He was unsure how to continue the conversation without starting a fight, or worse an argument. Markus did not really care whether or not they agreed with him, nor did he wish to cause any issue. From his experience guild mages were much like nobles, and guards, a lot of talk about being special for no real reason. He had jobs, and had hunted monsters. He knew little of their Guilds, Fairy Tail was Independent, Lamia Scale was ‘legal’, which as he knew ment they followed all the rules, and being a good mage. Markus definitely wouldn’t fit in if he had to follow the council, though fighting monsters did not sound too bad.

Markus, preparing for battle took a step forward as Aven cast his spells, they certainly looked fancy however, were they effective?...
Markus’s eyes widened, and his eyebrows raised… Which for him was as much as an exclamation or shout. He could not believe his eyes, almost instantly the man was out, defeated by a series of spells. ‘Well, if guild mages are that powerful…’ Markus thought to himself.

Markus watched as his female companion entered the room, and immediately went to the coffin. He let her do as she will, after all he didn’t really care, and started to case the room. Knowledge and power is what interests him, if the tomb held anything of interest, then they could talk.

Markus barely noticed as she seemed to pull something from the coffin, he was looking at some carving in the wall when she spoke up. Around that time his spell ended, and he felt the thorns that were against his arms clear.

Markus’s face took on a very serious look, this was usually the most dangerous part of a job.. With a quick glance at the orb he relaxed slightly, and walked over looking in the coffin. The woman spoke again, this time apologizing for her behavior, he gave no agnologment, he saw no reason for her to apologize and as such, there was no logical reason to worry.

He glanced at her again, then at Aven. “You guys decide, I have no use for trinkets... “ He glanced at the suit, “Or, such a… garment.” Looking at the two his expression lightened. “It is not my style, however...” he waited a few seconds to make his point.

“Next time, you owe me.” He said pointedly at both of them, marking his terms, requesting a future favor, which he knew could be much more valuable… Or, blow up in his face.
