Several weeks, if not months has it been since Magnolia Town had nearly been wiped off the face of the planet. But regardless, as soon he was physically able, Ezra had found himself helping in the reconstruction of Magnolia Town every day for the past several dozens of days. It was hard, physically demanding work! And such demanding labor demands some hard whiskey! With his usual flask, Ezra had been lounging on some tires and rubble sipping his favorite whiskey. If anything, he was only tipsy but sober enough to hold intelligent conversation. But that wasn't to say he reeked of booze. Or perhaps it was... the dozens of old and young men lounging with him with large portions of vodka, beer, and wine? It was a whole group of drunkards! However, Ezra paid them no more than friendly chit-chat and gestures of good will. Over the course of many weeks, he had been a familiar face to the remaining Magnolians and their guests. But the redhead was left hoping his guildmates could join him one of these days for a drink, and just a moment to learn more about them. He wanted to know more about them and wanted them to know more about him. It was a charming feeling but also a frustration to strengthen those bonds. Ezra smiled and sipped his whiskey again. The reconstruction of Magnolia would definitely take its time. A lot of the city had been wrecked around like a little kid’s wooden block town; buildings and roads, rivers, many places and a large part of the fancy city had been havocked. Luckily, he could contribute more than ever to rebuild it along with his beloved guildmates, including his familiar souls like Ezra, Hera, Sorano and Takumi. Something had caught his attention, though; of all stores, the herb shop was the only one to be left unharmed, eh? His curiosity for that damned store grew every day that went…
“… H-Hey, that’s Ezra’s signature,” he commented. He could feel a balanced aura nearby that would only turn out to be who he assumed; the fuming red-head himself. It was a good time to notice him now that the shaman had just built up five houses, including toilet, living room and a bedroom, 40 walls, the entire North Gate’s injury and other places that needed his assistance. He took his time properly rebuilding the issues, so that the outcome could look just like it was before the storm or even better. Obviously, people in Magnolia were more than grateful for his work; they didn’t know that the scary kid from the outskirts that lived in that haunted house would turn out to become such a helpful member.
Because of that, he held up some chocolate bars and greeted to Ezra and the other boys: “’Sup, everyone..!” He wasn’t wearing his battle suit this time, just his shirt without any T-Shirt, dark-green pants and that smile on his face. When he noticed the bottle, his smile turned into a curious face. “...” He could see it. A clear silhouette of a previous drunkard making his way towards Mura. A day that changed his life forever. Before Ezra knew it, it seemed as if his flask kept emptying and filling every other hour, and wondered if he should stop drinking. However, it's not every day you can drink out in public so shamelessly, and even if he drunk his head off, he'd be satisfied. Ezra had slunk back into the surface against his back and smiled into the war atmosphere. While drinking quietly, he couldn't help but recollect his work for the last few months or so. He's built several dozen houses with the help of his sturdy ice and muscular build, helped support the community and made lots of new friends. He had wondered if this is the sort of life he was meant for, one filled with compassion and hardship, but overcoming obstacles with his friends. It sounded as if he were in a cheesy movie about teamwork, but it didn't sound so bad. To Ezra's surprise, he was suddenly interrupted by the intrusion of Mura Kensho, an Ace of Fairy Tail but also a delightful young man. Instead of first noticing Mura, the redhead first noticed the treats he had with him. "Oh my! If it ain't ol' Mura Kensho, huh? Come to join the big boys for a drink?" Ezra teased with a tipsy blush to his cheeks. "Come on, sit down and have a drink. I'll share some of my whiskey if you gimme one of 'er chocolate bars.
