Diablo's Guild Hall [Blankaz, Viola-chanz, & Skyez ask if ya wanna play too]

Skye couldn't help but stare at the ghoul that stood before the pair, Viola had taken a defensive stance in front of him, which surprised him, since she had been acting so shy and meek from what he had seen so far. He failed to remember that she was a stronger mage them him by far, meaning she would be far more useful in fending off any foes that faced them, although the magic she had previously projected appeared to have no real effect on the ghoul. She exclaimed that it was trying to eat him, and he wasn't sure whether or not she was trying to set up a sick joke or being completely serious, but either way he would take it as the latter.

He flipped a key from his belt into his hands, standing ready to assist her in anyway her could, holding the key to Cygnus tightly between his fingers. He was starting to sweat, but not particularly panic, he was still a little bit thrilled to be in such a situation, he honestly wasn't expecting much less. Although the two were "alone" in this room, surrounded by walls and a closed door, he could somehow feel eyes piercing through him, seeing into what could have very much been his soul. What felt like a quick breeze skimmed his back, causing him to jerk violently behind him, only to notice another ghoul, this one almost identical to the one that had appeared minutes before, except for the fact it had larger, scarier red eyes, staring straight at him, making him stick his back to Viola's. "What are we supposed to do, I'm honestly lost. A little scared, but mostly confused and lost. We could... walk out?" He suggested, although a foolish recommendation, he was completely serious. If anything he was glad he hadn't decided to go venturing into the guild hall alone, he had no idea what kind of things truly lurked within.

Rita was thankful she managed to escape with only minor injury. The Fairy sat up and rubbed her head as a familiar voice met her ears. "Lance?..." She murmured, turning and watching as he approached approached with concern. She pulled herself back up to her feet, ignoring the pain in her shoulder from hitting the floor like that. "I'll live." she insisted.  Rita quickly went red faced and narrowed her eyes at his next statement. "O-Of course I don't!" she barked, crossing her arms over her chest stubbornly.

She heard another body climb up from the floor and approach the two shadows. The blonde stranger appeared to be alright, or at least still in one piece. Rita tilted her head up slightly to  look up at the two. Both who were almost a foot taller than herself. The girl blinked, listening closely to what he said to Lance and realized it was true. Where had he left Lea this time? Rita's eyes expanded with worry as she imagined what could possibly happen to a little girl unattended in a place like this... "Lance," She began in a stern tone, not bothering to pay attention to where Lucas was floating off this time. "I can't believe you lost track of her like that!" She growled between tightly clenched teeth. "Regardless, We can't let her run around here by herself. I will head down that way, you look  for her elsewhere." Rita ordered. She did not wait for is reply. Instead she dashed off through another door, abandoning him in the foyer without another word.


Keeping a steady pace, The mage covered a string of unnaturally long hallways. She called out the girl's name, her voice piercing the air with concern. Lea was nowhere to be found... Rita couldn't bare the thought of her being lost in a place like this. The Shadow Make wizard quickly became lost herself, unable to recall her surroundings or which way was back. She stopped for a moment to catch her breath and analyze the situation.

Rita didn't know if it was the silence or the darkness engulfed corridor but something gave her the idea that she was not alone...That's when she detected a quiet and gritty breathing behind her.

She slowly and cautiously turned around. Her heart panged against her rib cage in that moment... A glowing and menacing gaze tore past her eyelids, and stared into her sapphire irises with a murderous intent. The luminous set of eyes belonged to a dark figure which towered over her. 'Run' was the only word in her head. She could feel it's stare drain all will out of her and ceasing her ability to escape. Paralyzed, she couldn't find the strength to move or to even blink.


The figure barreled at the C-rank, darkly groaning something, its words inaudible. She would of shrieked in that instant, but her lungs lacked the air. In the nick of time her legs budged and she stumbled out of the way, almost losing her balance and tripping in the process. The menace flew past her and dissipated into a shadowy smoke, quickly recomposing itself behind her. Before she could re-balance herself and evade she was bashed to the ground, emitting a loud noise as her her forehead crashed into the wooden floorboards.

 A dark mist, similar to the substance her foe was made up of, closed in on her body like a predator to its prey. There was no question that this was a malevolent force. If she couldn't escape or get rid of it, death was inevitable. By now the dark substance began flowing into Rita's body through her nose, her mouth, her eyes. She dug her nails into the floor and tried to get up to escape but the pressure on her body was to great, as if felt as if some one had thrown a pile of bricks on top of her. The mages eyes slowly began to roll back as she was thrown into a gagging and choking frenzy. Her world grew darker and darker... Maybe there was still hope? It was quiet and muffled but she cold hear voices within a room nearby:

"Stay back, that thing is trying to eat you."

"What are we supposed to do, I'm honestly lost. A little scared, but mostly confused and lost. We could... walk out?"




(OOC: No worries Skye. I didn't get to it right away myself. It may be slow but at least this thread is still going, right. c:)

Lance looked around after the two had gone. He looked around for Lea who was sitting on top of a beam "I have been here before this happened." She said with a smile "You guys were just to slow to see me!" she said happily as she grabbed onto Lances hand "You wanna go mess with some peoples heads?" she said with a smile as Lance nodded "Hell yeah!" he said as he walked into another room. They were inside some sort of ball room now and Lance looked around.

It was dark but beautiful "I am going to go take a look around." Lance said as he headed off into a corner of the room to go look at the area. While he was away Lance heard a whispering behind her. She shakily turned around and saw that nothing was behind her "D-Dad this isn't funny!" she said as she turned around the way she was facing before and saw a scary figure standing in front of her. She let out a loud shrill scream and that was all that was heard before she was gone.

Lance looked up from his spot just in time to see the figure grab Lea and dissapear. He ran over to the spot and started punching the air "Come back out you asshole!" he yelled as he continued punching the air "I'm gonna kill ya!" he said as he ran out of the room.
