    Let's get on the same page. If you have any questions. Post it here and we admins will answer it to the best of our abilities. Hell Seijin can jump in on this thread and get ALL OF US communicating with each other.

    Staff chat is there for when you guys have questions and we can get to you guys immediately, but what happens is that people start to bury everything. So if you have anything, you can always post it here so that we ALL CAN SEE IT. The great thing is... YOU CAN COME BACK TO THIS WITH OUT HAVING TO GO THROUGH ALL THOSE LOGS! I'm sorry, but skype locks my computer up because the logs for the staff chat are so huge.

    Elemental Forms

    Here's a tricky one that was solved A YEAR AGO. I know most of you guys were not there for this argument, but it was present in the Staff Chat. I cannot go back that far. Anyway. The way elemental forms work is like this:

    1. You make yourself into water.
    2. You take on the weaknesses of water.
    3. You can't have physical damage.
    4. Hey look at you. You can still take magical damage no matter what the spell or magical item. If the spell or item is nonelemental and physical damage based. Look they wasted a spell or turn.

    It's simple here's 2 examples:

    Kyle(aka the darkness) uses sand form.
    Zeno uses Magic Missle on the darkness.
    Kyle is unaffected because magic missile is a physical based spell with no elements.

    Kyle uses sand form.
    Aayla uses water missile on the darkness.
    Kyle turns into mud.

    See what I'm saying? Elemental weaknesses are common sense. Stop making elemental forms so hard to understand. They CANNOT BE THAT OP! Because they already DON'T TAKE PHYSICAL DAMAGE.

    Here's a question regarding this rule on Celestial Summoning


    puts a great strain on the user and so they are limited to the amount of things they can summon at once. This is listed in terms of D rank summons, with 2D=1C, 4D = 1B, 8D = 1A, 16D = 1 S, 48D = 1H.

    D = 2
    C = 4
    B = 8
    A = 16
    S = 32
    H = 96

    Why are we limiting the amount of spirits that can be summoned? If a spirits MP cost is high enough, shouldn't that be enough? I mean we're not limiting the amount of spells regular mages can use so why are we limiting how many summons? 

    I mean, if I summon Zargan and he costs me something stupid like 70MP+, of course im not going to be able to summon many more of my little guys. But if I want to be able to summon a bunch of my little guys I should be able too.

    Yes summoning should have a cost on the user, but it's no different than any other mage going ham in a single post.

    Celestial/Summon Mages are limited so much because they have the potential to be one of the most flexible mages. They have access to Summon Magic, Secondary Magic, Weapons, Items, etc. If you don't limit what they can do, you will have a crap ton of stuff. In technicality, if you look at the pissing contests on the cbox about slayers, you got this argument in the bag.

    So... Just so you know I have gotten a few questions when Rising Star and Coming Storms came around on what counts to acquire said position. SO here's where I will make it simple for you:

    1. 2 Job Invasions = Auto Approve
    2. Go over their threads and see if they actually have proved themselves for the spot through their PvE jobs and story lines. So yeah you can have them do one job invasion since the rules require them to do a job invasion. However if the members complain about how hard it is to get a spot, direct them to bullet 1.

    I think we should have a rule where if you send too much MP in a post you you will be staggered or disoriented somehow for a post.

    This would only be if you spend 45 or more mp in a post doing spells. This is a way of limiting people on the amount of spells they spam in a post and possibly lowering the amount of attacks.

    Tell em what you guys think on it.
