Personality: Haruhi Kanashimi has shown to have a very daring personality. Still young and impulsive, she is quick to make decisions she could very well regret later on. Having been apart from her older sister since childhood, and losing that understanding of socialization, she tends to be extremely awkward when meeting new people. Although through her actions or words, she is always trying to make herself known. Haruhi cares greatly for her friends and allies, but is not afraid to put herself first to obtain her ultimate goals. This has brought many people to question her loyalty and friendship. She is found to be quite rebellious. With an affinity for ignoring rules that may be a road block for her. This has gotten her into many binds through her young life. She is always trying to learn, observe, and understand everything about the people that surround her. She is very close to few people, those of which she is, she holds most dear. Within her understand, all people look after themselves. Thinking this, Haruhi is overwhelmingly confused when her allies show mercy and compassion for enemies. With her goals in mind, Haruhi is very passionate and focused. She will not let any person, ally or enemy, interfere with her goals and views.
Haruhi is an extremely modest wizard. Concerning a battle, she never boasts her abilities higher than they are. During a battle, Haruhi has complete lack of remorse and mercy. Although she doesn't like harming her enemies for pleasure, she will not hesitate to end the fight by any means. Her true ability to fight, with no vacillation, is her fear. Haruhi feels fear in every fight she has. The understanding that each and every confrontation she has could be her last, due to the opponent or herself. Being different from her everyday life, Haruhi has total control of most her emotions. The only exception to this is fear. She expects her opponents to abdicate the fight before she begins to be serious. Always holding back her actual attack strength in the beginning of combat, she allows herself adequate time to learn the strengths and weakness of her opponent. With pinpoint focus she will pick out her opponents weakness (es) and make them her focal point of attack. That being a physical or emotional point of weakness. Her fellow guild members have mentioned and rumored about her malevolence. As much she only cares to pursue her goals, she is completely willing to be harmed in battle to come out as the victor. Having discovered and trained herself most of her life, Haruhi does not work well with many team members. She fears of being hindered or betrayed. The understanding that she knows what’s best for her makes Haruhi a prime example of a dangerous solo fighter. Being under a captain or other leader scares her. She wants to be able to follow what she thinks best for her, not necessarily the group. This causes her to disobey orders and finish missions the way she best sees fit.
Likes:
Rum: She developed a slight taste for the drink from her father.
Nature. She feels her calmest when alone with her thoughts. She doesn’t have the sense of fear when in nature.
Reading. Reading helps Haruhi find herself. Understand herself. Plus, Lord of the Rings is her favorite series.
Dislikes:
Vehicles: Haruhi (although not a slayer) suffers from extreme motion sickness.
Unquestioning Followers: She doesn’t like people who don’t question their superiors. She lives by thinking every article she has been told could be false, and is until proven correct.
Slayers: Haruhi doesn’t value mages who did not learn of their magic themselves and hone it. She doesn’t like magic being given to mages.
Motivations:
Advancement: Although she doesn’t like to be lead, she wishes to lead and teach others to question what they are told. This drives her to get stronger and more knowledgeable of the world she lives in.
Late Sister: Her late sister was a strong wizard. But wasn’t able to protect herself. Haruhi doesn’t want the same fate to fall upon her.
Fear: She is afraid of many things. She hopes by moving forward and achieving what she sets out to her fears will vanish

Spiders: Her sister played multiple jokes on her as a child. Many of which involved spiders. She tends to have an irrational fear of spiders.
Fighting: She is a pacifist at the beginning of every fight. She will fight with her all if necessary and take it a step further. But she avoids fighting if capable.
Large Teams: She is concerned about being left behind or betrayed by her comrades. It is for this reason she prefers to work in solitude.
Blood: Her enemies blood included, Haruhi hates the sight of blood. She sees it as life flowing and seeing it spilt is the life being drained from a person.
Death: Haruhi understands that death is the end of her. She is afraid that she could die before she reaches a level higher than most others.
