❂ the eldest of the oz family that hails from the bazaars of desertio, zaun can be described to be quite antisocial and awkward to those outside of his immediate family, not one to wander out and make new friends easily. immensely absorbed in the brilliant arts and studies of coffee magic, he is currently undergoing multiple independent studies of the endless styles and crafts of coffee and espresso, alongside the mysterious origin of the abilities to wield and perfectly master espresso beans and push them farther into the process of making them drinkable- this causes him to be quite the unknown person, as he sticks to the backrooms of places and typically only comes out when the matters are important. while quite sweet and gentle once one gets to know him and become closer with his studious personality, which is quite difficult due to the fact he never really socializes with anyone other than his sister and niece, he has a mysterious and reserved attitude, not one to speak much of his past. he lives in the present more than anything, using the knowledge he's gained over the years to assist him in making the right move within the moment. having quite the difficult childhood along with his sister, he bore to witness the traumatic events that happened in the night markets alone to spare his sister from having to see gruesome darkness- or at least he thought. highly traumatized, some things can easily trigger stress due to these events in the past, such as highly occupied areas and open environments. he is one to avoid uncomfortable situations from the beginning rather than running into them, as he does not wish for those around him to see through his wall of maturity. at heart, despite his awkwardness and timid nature, he is a total softie. ❂

❂ manifesting from a rumor that circulated around the coffee academy of bellum faster than its quickest sports teams, zoe is the child of zephyris and one of the sugar witches of the academy's hidden sect- while the rumor was indeed true that the coffee witch was pregnant with his child, it was unknown how a relationship could have forged between the walls of the two separate programs of sweets magic, which stirred up quite the ruckus on the school's campus. born from these whispers of scandal, this baby sugar witch is quite the bubbly and sweet personality, taking after the most sugary and flavorful pastries she is able to create. being the typical seven-year-old, the white-haired petite sugar princess holds her emotions on her sleeve and is one to overreact to the smallest of things; it is not difficult to see her cry just as it is easy to see her smile. quite the easily-impressionable child, which has been documented by her mother and uncle, it is their goal to protect her from the darkness in the world- sugar magic is just as easily corruptible as it is innocent, and around the wrong people, zoe's chaotic and mischievous side will definitely not hesitate to come out. while quite sweet and innocent to those around her, she is quite fond of pulling harmless and borderline-evil pranks on those she considers close to her, driven to not get caught and blame the act on others to save her butt from getting in trouble. this especially relates to her guildmates that watch over her while her guardians are at work in the coffee shops, as they are evil punishment givers, especially the boys! around kids her age, and kind adults that give her what she wants, she is the sweetest ever- but she definitely holds grudges out to the very end, even for the dumbest of reasons. sometimes she says things that just don't make sense, but don't question it! ❂
❂ due to her young age, zoe does not have much experience in the arts of battle- she is more fond of using her sugar magic for the sweetest of pranks and the yummiest of snacks and pastries! however, when the time calls for it and she is around her mother and uncle, she is capable of fighting alongside them in the offensive with their aid. sticking onto the back of her mother's flying broomstick, which takes the guise as a stirring spoon, her fighting style consists of hurling giant sugar cubes, cookies, pastries, and more at the opponent, dealing large bursts of magical damage and providing debuffs and terrain changes for her allies. as she is still getting used to using such a strong style of magic, granted to her by birth, it is important for her to take long breaks in-between spells so she doesn't get too tired out. it is to no surprise that zoe must function under leaders instead of being one herself; she's a baby, not a dictator!
