Magic Name: Water Dragon Slayer [1st Gen]
    Second Magic: Today's Forecast
    Third Magic: Prisma Chaotica
    Magic Type: Slayer
    Description:
Water Dragon Slayer Magic is just what it sounds like, a magic specially attuned to defeating water dragons and other similar beings.  Its origins date back to a time humanity has long forgotten, one filled to the brim with war and strife.  And now, with the near eradication of the dragon race, very few remain to pass on the magic in its original form.  But the lucky few who were fortunate enough to run into one such willing dragon may be granting a magic such as this one. For Water Dragon Slayer Magic specifically, this includes vast physical strength, potent supportive abilities, and inordinate mental stability.

The main specialty of Water Dragon Slayer Magic is for its combative purposes, excelling in slaughtering any amount of obstacles that face its user.  The magic allows the user to not only consume water to regain their magic power, but also enter a state that applies draconian qualities to them.  This specific breed of the magic is much more focused on granting purely power rather any of the other potential benefits. Everything is present with harsh combat in mind, so the "calmer" side of the slayer magic never really gets to show itself.

    Lineage:
    Chaos Eye:
Description: A demon made a deal with a man that had lost vision in his left eye. The man was to become the demon’s vessel in return the eye would be restored to its full capabilities. As the demon’s usage of the vessel was no longer needed, the man settled down and had children. His children however unlike the man had one red eye that could predict a chaotic event.
Ability: The user can see a glimpse of the future for a brief minute, but causes great strain on the user’s body.  Upon activation, the user of this lineages gains the foresight needed to predict enemy attacks and thus gains an increased chance to avoid them.  It takes the appearance of ghostly echoes in their vision.  Can be thwarted by the very skilled who react to your own reactions,  or by others with similar ability.
Passively they can get visions of the future for plot reasons.  They are occasionally plagued by nightmares of their own death.
Usage: Passive for plot purposes / Active for battle purposes. Active lasts for 1 post with a 10 post cooldown and even though the user knows the next move this does not mean they can dodge everything that post and the attacker can simply outmaneuver them if able.
    Slayer Perks:
♢ +25% Strength, Speed, and HP.

♢ Greatly enhanced Hearing, Sight, and Smell.

    ♢ The Force Ability.

♢ Ability to Consume Magic of same element for MP (See below)

♢ Resistance to their slayer element based off how powerful the opposing spell/ability being used on them is:
    2 Ranks Above Character: 0%
    1 Rank Above Character: 10%
    Same Rank as Character: 25%
    1 Rank below Character: 35%
    2 Ranks below Character: 50%

♢ Deals double damage to Lizard, Wyvern, and (Lesser and Greater) Dragon non-human type opponents.

    Unique Abilities

Uummat - The mental fortitude granted by this magic is substantial, allowing the user to easily enhance their magic.  And so every time the user casts a spell in the "Defensive" category, the recipient has 5% of their total MP pool restored.  This still applies when there are two categories, but not with signature spells.  However, this means the user cannot have any passive MP regen whatsoever.
Floe - With the intermingling of aether and the user's mana, it creates something potentially dangerous for others' consumption.  Due to this, the user has a 50% spell cost reduction, 10% MP buff, and anyone who consumes the user's magic will only receive half the mana than usual.
Arroyo - Like most other slayer magics, this one grants their user immense physical strength.  This allows for any melee strike to result in a sort of "shockwave" that can carry the damage up to 100m at 100m/s.  This deals the same damage as the original physical attack and any single opponent may not ever be dealt damage by both the shockwave and original attack.  This ability cannot be used alongside a spell even if it deals melee damage, has melee range, etc.  Alongside is this, it allows the user to gain a 70% strength buff for 1 post after casting a spell.

    Passives:
Cloudburst I - The user's magic is unique from most, having incredibly ancient origins that are nearly impossible to properly trace.  The magic itself has historically been able to defend from catastrophic events, passively enhancing the user's spell durability by 55% and decreases the effectiveness of immobility effects by 50%.  This cuts the user's speed in half instead of preventing them from moving.
Downpour I - The user's magic is unique from most, having incredibly ancient origins that are nearly impossible to properly trace.  The power granted by the magic is nearly explosive and can be incredibly destructive.  This passively enhances their physical damage by 65% for 1 post after they cast a spell and decreases the effectiveness of drain effects by 50%.

    Type: Multi-target - Debuff - Absorption
    Damage: 113HP

    Duration: 9 posts

Water Dragon Slayer Empty -- Notes

Post by Althea on 10th April 2018, 8:42 pm

    Notes:

    - Added a UA
    - Rearranged spell slots to have 1 B-rank, 8 A-rank, 6 S-rank, 1 B+, 2 A+, and 2 S+ spells
    - Fervor [UA] renamed to Uummat, was reworked, and the buff in it was changed to the active s-rank buff value
    - Floe [UA] had a MP buff added to it seeing as cost reduction is technically a buff and I have an extra 10% that can't be put into it

    Past Edits:
    - Made things pretty
    - Reworded stuff like Sable Tides [Sig] to make moar sense and added a bunch of flavor text
    - Renamed Will of the Risen to Floe [UA]
    - Added an extra effect to both signature spells seeing as they're a-rank
    - Added Dusk, Evening, Midnight, and Dawn [B], which are all exactly the same
    - Added/Edited Catalaphyllia, Ctenella, Gyrosmilia, Montigyra, and Simplastrea [A], which are all exactly the same
    - Put some a-rank passives
    - Added Euphillia [B+]
    - Moved Corinthian Order to be B+ ranked and edited its effects and stuff
    - Moved Overcast to be A+ ranked and edited its effects
    - Renamed a spell to Artillery [A+] and added an effect to it

    - Sold my spell slots from before and haven't bought anymore as of yet
    - A few aesthetic changes
    - Removed cooldowns
    - Added A-rank stuff (3 normal spells, 1 advanced spell, and a sig spell)
    - Removed strengths and weaknesses
    - Removed an appropriate amount of UAs and spells
    - Added a buff to Fervor [UA]
    - Increased the MP absorption and range in Sable Tides [Sig]
    - Completely revamped all D-rank spells... again
    - Got 2 new C-rank spells and made Moonglade [C+] into an AoE advanced spell, getting rid of Crest
    - Edited the numbers in Corinthian Order's [B] description
    - Replaced Scope [D+] with Drive
    - Added an effect to Ripple [B+] seeing as it is an AoE

    - General updates for the recent rule revisions \o/
    - Tons of small cosmetic edits to strengths, weaknesses, description, and rewording of spells that simply add more detail
    - Renamed Sable Waves (Sig) to Sable Tides, Footfall (Sig) to Lilt, Rushing Streams (UA) to Sinuous Cascade, Roaring Waters (UA) to Surging Falls, and Scattered Droplets (C) to Whistle
    - Reworked Fervor (UA) so much it might as well be called something else entirely
    - Changed the buffs in Sinuous Cascades and Surging Falls (UAs) from 50% to 60%
    - Added Will of the Risen (UA)
    - Practically entirely reworked Sable Tides (Sig)
    - Got rid of Strides (D), replaced with a Drive spell
    - Edited all D-rank spells
    - Decreased the trajectory decrease across ranks for Pitch (C)
    - Got rid of Arrow (C), Charge (C) and Boomerang (C) for Moonglade, Quiver, and Lane
    - Added 3 spells: Corinthian Order (B), Roar (B), Boulevard (B), and Ripple (B+)
    - Replaced Charge (D+) for Scope
    - Completely changed Crest (C+)

    - Added an UA
    - Added 2 Signature Spells
    - Added 2 D-rank spells
    - Moved "Water Dragon's Pitch", "Water Dragon's Charge", and "Water Dragon's Scattered Droplets" to C-rank spells
    - 2 Unique Abilities (Fervor & Roaring Waters) now buff melee damage, not magic strength
    - Added 5 C-Rank Spells

Hey Rain! Lester here I'm your grader for this round, feel free to ask any questions! You've done good with the magic <33 bump when you've made changes

    Unique Abilities:
Fervor - If Althea is invested deeply within a situation, her spell strength increases by 50% at the cost of an initial 10% of her total MP and 3 MP per post it's used.  But, the opposite may also occur if Althea is not really interested (minus anything happening to her MP).
This is okay but you're nerfing yourself a little. you can remove the drawback and just leave it at a 50% buff
Roaring Waters - Due to wielding the power of an ancient dragon, Althea has a 50% buff to her magic damage.
Rushing Streams - Water is an element that is capable of fast, precise, but flexible attacks.  This ability gives Althea a 50% buff to her speed and enhanced reflexes and agility.

    ♢ Spells ♢

    D-Rank Spells:
    Water Dragon's Scattered Droplets:
    Name: Water Dragon's Scattered Droplets
    Rank: D
    Type: Offensive || Multi-target
    Duration: 1 post
    Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: Similar to how a typical dragon slayer’s roar is cast, the caster first inhales, gathering a great quantity of water in their lungs, then exhales a multitude of bullet-like water droplets.  Each one does 25% of D rank damage, moving at 35 m/s.  But, the spell is fairly close ranged, only able to travel up to 5 meters.
    Strengths:
    ♢ Droplets move very quickly
    Weaknesses:
♢ Can only be cast in close range to target
♢ If the user cannot breathe, the spell cannot be cast
    Water Dragon's Charge:
    Name: Water Dragon's Charge
    Rank: D
    Type: Offensive || Multi-Target
    Duration: 1 post
    Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: Covering their limbs with water, the caster throws a barrage of high-speed punches at the target, each one dealing 25% of D rank damage.  There doesn’t seem like there is really a limit to how many punches can be thrown, but it all depends on the situation.
    Strengths:
♢ Can be used to easily rack up damage
    Weaknesses:
♢ Must be used at close range to use
♢ Spell can be dodged by avoiding the first punch thrown
    Water Dragon's Pitch:
    Name: Water Dragon's Pitch
    Rank: D
    Type: Offensive || Single Target
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: The caster charges a leg with water, raising it backwards before unleashing a high kick that is able to send an opponent flying up to 60 meters away (trajectory decreases by 20 meters per every rank above spell).  But, it takes approximately 3 seconds for the caster to prepare the spell.
Instant spells use Burst range, would you drop it down to 15m or make duration 1 post please
    Strengths:
♢ Good for getting enemies out of the way
    Weaknesses:
♢ It is easy to see the spell coming, and there’s plenty of time to dodge it
♢ May be a bad idea to use in citizen-heavy areas it your opponent would attack them after recovering from the blow
    Water Dragon's Drive:
    Name: Water Dragon's Drive
    Rank: D
    Type: Supportive
    Duration: 2 posts
    Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: This spell works by using the caster’s will alongside their ethernanos to further enhance their abilities.  It buffs the user’s magic strength by 60% and may cause a few purely cosmetic effects.
    Strengths:
♢ Gives the caster a strong buff
    Weaknesses:
    ♢ Only affects the user
♢ Deals no direct damage to the opponent
    Water Dragon Slayer 79a63db3b87a8a9c5fca7d25187da06c-d8znewu

    Advanced Spells:
    Water Dragon's Crash:
    Name: Water Dragon's Crash
    Rank: D+
    Type: Offensive || Single Target
    Duration: 1 post
    Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: The caster uses their magic to propel themselves towards their target, treating themselves as a human bullet.  They move at approximately 120 m/s and can reach up to 40 m.  Upon impact, it may stun the opponent for 1 post if they are under 25% of their max health and are equal or lower than the spell’s rank.
This is pretty underpowered, you could add that it does damage, or a debuff if you wanted
    Strengths:
♢ User moves very quickly during spell
    Weaknesses:
♢ Can only be used when in close range to target
♢ If spell misses, there a hefty punishment

    Description:
Water Dragon Slayer Magic grants the caster the ability to wield both the powers of water and the strengths of a dragon.  This allows them to cover their limbs with water, consume water for a power up, and have a high resistance to the element.  Along with the mastery of water comes the physical and mental strengths of a water dragon.  Tests of strength and agility come easily to a wielder of Water Dragon Slayer magic as well as surpassing mental barriers.  Although a water dragon slayer only has the power to wield and not control water, it can be a rather offensive element.  Both flexible but powerful, the caster depends almost entirely on melee attacks to fight enemies.  Though there are a few long distance spells, most are fairly close ranged.

Taught by Tethys, elder dragon and queen of the Euphyllia water dragons, Althea uses Water Dragon Slayer magic primarily for offensive purposes.  Although there may be a few supportive or defensive abilities in her arsenal, it would be rare for her to utilize even one.  Besides a few select spells, it is almost completely utilized via melee attacks, although it's destructive force is still devastating.  Water is already one of the most powerful forces in the world, and when combined with the strength of dragons it a formidable magic.  But, Althea’s magic depends greatly on the strength of her feelings, so it may help or hinder her depending on the task.

    Strengths:

    Weaknesses:
♢ Ineffective against ice and lightning wizards.
♢ It is beyond a dragon slayer's ability to consume a god and demon slayers' element.

Usage: Passive for plot purposes / Active for battle purposes. Active lasts for 1 post with a 10 post cooldown and even though the user knows the next move this does not mean they can dodge everything that post and the attacker can simply outmaneuver them if able.

    Name: Water Dragon's Scattered Droplets
    Rank: D
    Type: Offensive || Multi-target
    Weaknesses:

Description: Covering their limbs with water, the caster throws a barrage of high-speed punches at the target, each one dealing 25% of D rank damage.  There doesn’t seem like there is really a limit to how many punches can be thrown, but it all depends on the situation.

    Weaknesses:
♢ Must be used at close range to use
♢ Spell can be dodged by avoiding the first punch thrown

    Strengths:
♢ Good for getting enemies out of the way
    Weaknesses:
♢ It is easy to see the spell coming, and there’s plenty of time to dodge it
♢ May be a bad idea to use in citizen-heavy areas it your opponent would attack them after recovering from the blow

♢ Water Dragon Slayer Magic ♢

    ♢ 1st Gen. ♢

    Secondary Magic: N/A
Caster or Holder: Lost Caster Magic

    Strengths:
♢ Water is a common element, so it won't be too hard to find for a power up.
♢ Caster is able to skillfully maintain their state of tranquility.
♢ Caster may be able to cast several powerful buff spells
♢ Effective against fire and poison wizards
    Weaknesses:
♢ Ineffective against ice and lightning wizards.
♢ It is beyond a dragon slayer's ability to consume a god and demon slayers' water.
♢ Like all other dragon slayers, the caster becomes motion sick when on any transportation.
♢ Has few truly long-ranged attacks.
♢ Many abilities rely heavily on the caster’s emotional state

    Lineage:
♢ 10% Buff to physical stats (strength, speed etc.)

♢ 10% Buff to senses (hearing, smell etc.)

♢ The ability to enter force after consuming enough of the element

♢ The ability to consume their element to regain MP

A resistance to their element shown by the following chart:
    2 ranks above: 0%
    1 rank above: 10%
    Same rank: 25%
    1 rank below: 30%
    2 ranks below: 50%

♢Deals double damage to Lizard, Wyvern, and (Lesser and Greater) Dragon non-human type opponents.

    Unique Abilities:
Fervor - If Althea is invested deeply within a situation, her melee damage increases by 50% at the cost of an initial 10% of her total MP and 3 MP per post it's used.  This ability may also cause a bit of precipitation.
Roaring Waters - Passive - Due to wielding the power of an ancient dragon, Althea has a 50% buff to her melee damage.
Rushing Streams - Passive - Water is an element that is capable of fast, precise, but flexible attacks.  This ability gives Althea a 50% buff to her speed and enhanced reflexes and agility.
Crown of Euphyllia - Althea can trump natural boundaries and consume a water spell of a something she typically wouldn't be able to with a cooldown of five posts. (e.g. a god or demon slayer's spells)  The spell must be of her rank or lower and Althea will suffer 120% of it's damage due to internal rejection.

Description: Slashing at the air, the caster creates an about 8 m long “shockwave”.  It only travels at a speed of 10 m/s, only able to travel 15 m.  But, since it is a slicing attack it adds in a bleed that deals 50% of C+ ranked damage over the course of 2 posts.  If an enemy experiences the bleed once, they may not do so again.
    Strengths:
    ♢ Deals bleed damage
    Weaknesses:
♢ Is both slow and doesn’t travel far
    ♢ The bleed has limitations

    ♢ Water Dragon Slayer ♢

    ♢ 1st Gen. ♢

    Secondary Magic: N/A
    Magic Type: Slayer
    Description:
Water is a deceivingly peaceful element, one that anyone may expect little from on the battle field.  And although the tranquil waves give, they also take.  Water may be a light shower that produces a vibrant rainbow as much as it may be a violent storm that leaves nothing but destruction in its wake.  It may be life itself, but just like life water isn't all black and white.
The magic of the Water Dragon Slayer sees to both of the sides of water.  It gives to the world almost as much as it takes from it through non combative spells.  But, the magic does not only express the traits of water but of the mythical dragons.  Due to this, tests of strength and agility come easily to a wielder of Water Dragon Slayer magic.  Both flexible but powerful, it isn't a force to be reckoned with.

    Strengths:
♢ Water is a common element, so it won't be too hard to find for a power up
    ♢ Has several supportive spells
♢ While underwater, the caster is able to move as easily as if they were on land
    Weaknesses:
♢ Cannot consume a god slayer's, demon slayer's, her own, or elementally mixed water
♢ Like all other dragon slayers, the caster becomes motion sick when on any transportation
♢ Has few truly long-ranged attacks
♢ Heat can make water into vapor and cold will freeze it.

    Lineage:

Resistance to their slayer element based off how powerful the opposing spell/ability being used on them is:
    2 Ranks Above Character: 0%
    1 Rank Above Character: 10%
    Same Rank as Character: 25%
    1 Rank below Character: 35%
    2 Ranks below Character: 50%

♢ Deals double damage to Lizard, Wyvern, and (Lesser and Greater) Dragon non-human type opponents.

    Unique Abilities:
Fervor || Uummat - Whenever Althea casts a supportive spell, the recipient has 5% of their total MP pool restored.  This applies to heals, buffs, shields, and practically anything non combative that has a single fixed target.
Surging Falls - Passive - Due to wielding the power of an ancient water dragon and her passion for battle, Althea has a 60% buff to her melee damage.

Since the max B-Rank buff value is 60% and this is a passive, it needs to be lowered 10%. This applies to Sinuous Cascade as well.

Sinuous Cascade - Passive - Water is an element that is capable of fast, precise, but flexible attacks.  This fact gives Althea a 60% buff the her speed and enhanced reflexes and agility.  So if she ever wishes to do some hardcore parkour or some gymnastic moves, she may do so easily.
Crown of Euphyllia - Althea can trump natural boundaries and consume a water spell of a something she typically wouldn't be able to (e.g. a god or demon slayer's spells) with a cooldown of five posts. The spell must be of her rank or lower and Althea will suffer from 120% of it's damage due to internal rejection.
Will of the Risen - Passive - As a result of the fact water can find a route through almost anything, it costs 50% more to negate something that Althea has casted.  Althea is also able to bypass any resistance to physical damage of her rank or lower.  But as a result, she is unable to hold any resistance to it herself under any circumstances.

DOWNFALL - This is a form of enhancement present within Althea's magic, passively buffing her melee damage by 40%.
DOWNPOUR - This is a form of enhancement present within Althea's magic, passively buffing her melee damage by 40%. You got two passive here buffing the same kind of damage by 40 which makes 80% melee passive buff. Either reduce or pick a new damage to buff.

    NAME: Water Dragon's Floe
    RANK: C
    TYPE: Multi-target
    DAMAGE: 22.5HP per post
    RANGE: Physical Contact
SPEED: N/A please state a speed
    DURATION: 5 posts
DESCRIPTION: When activated the caster will begin emitting a dense, cool water vapor for the duration of the spell. Once impacted, the target will begin suffering from damage over time for 3 posts, and although it doesn't stack it may be reset. The spell may also help the caster with temperature control for themselves or those around them and it can be adjusted so that there are no physical signs of the spell having been cast.

    NAME: Water Dragon's Overcast
    RANK: A
    TYPE: AoE
    DAMAGE: 35HP per post
    RANGE: 150m
    SPEED: 50m/s
    DURATION: 7 posts
DESCRIPTION: Once cast, the spell will spontaneously generate a raging storm, the caster acting as it's center. Exactly how violent it is as well as factors such as the quantities of wind and lightning are completely up to them, but in no other way do they have any control over them. Once they enter the storm, the target may suffer from a max of 2.5x A-rank spells worth of damage depending how many posts they spend within it while the caster is granted a flexible 65% buff. But, it must be clarified by the them within their post what it enhanced. Is the wind and the lighting doing damage?

Heya Kite, thanks for taking the time to grade my magic!  But, I do have to ask for clarification for a few if you don't mind :D

    1.  Do you mind pointing it out in the rules where it says I can't have two different buff sources increasing the same thing?

    2. It doesn't have a speed because it is applied upon contact and "instant" would imply it not lasting all that long, which it does.

I'm doing the final edit you made, my bad for not clarifying stuff.

    1. I’ll will let its pass since there isn’t any rules regarding it. .

    2. The speed is for how fast the mist spreads over the range state. It is still needed.

    2. Whoops, I didn't actually mean for it to be a mist spell, it was supposed to be more like Arroyo. I've edited both of their descriptions to make things less confusing :'D

Hey Althea, So I'll be grading this for you, all my edits will be in this color, bump when done and I'll take a look.

    Spoiler:

Magic Name: Water Dragon Slayer [1st Gen]
    Second Magic: Today's Forecast
    Third Magic: Prisma Chaotica
    Magic Type: Slayer
    Description:
Water Dragon Slayer Magic is just what it sounds like, a magic specially attuned to defeating water dragons.  Its origins date back to a time humanity has long forgotten, one filled to the brim with war and strife.  And now, with the near eradication of the dragon race, very few remain to pass on the magic in its original form.  But the lucky few who were fortunate enough to run into one such willing dragon are granted great power.  For Water Dragon Slayer Magic specifically, this includes vast physical strength, potent supportive abilities, and inordinate mental stability.

The main specialty of Water Dragon Slayer Magic is the slaughtering of dragon-like creatures, having originally been made for that specific purpose.  It allows for the user to not only consume water to regain their magic power, but also enter a state that applies draconian qualities to them.  But the primary reason Althea agreed to learn such magic wasn't for the overwhelming strength, but instead for the magic's affinities.  It acts as a sort of "buffer" for her two other magics as to not tear herself apart while using both at once.

    Lineage:

Fervor || Uummat - The mental fortitude granted by this magic is substantial, allowing adept the user to easily enhance their magic.  And so whenever the user casts a supportive spell, the recipient has 5% of their total MP pool restored.  This applies to heals, buffs, shields, and practically anything non combative that has fixed targets.  It also grants the user a passive 55% buff to melee damage.
Floe - As a result of the fact water can find a route through almost anything, it costs 50% more to negate something that the user has cast.  They are also able to bypass any resistance to physical damage of their rank or lower, but as a result cannot hold any resistance to it them self under any circumstance.

Edit:: Countering negations isn't something that we permit, nor is bypassing resistances. Please rework this ability.

Hey again, same again,  bump the thread when done and I'll take another look.

Edit:: So I think you misunderstood my edits, when I asked you you put 'for the duration of the spell' in I wasn't talking about the downside, but actually any buffs, debuffs or drains you had in your magic description itself. So if you had a spell that buffs 65% speed, I wanted you to state AFTER the sentence that it was for the duration of the spell. If you can go through and tweak those based on the previous grading please.

    Lineage:

Fervor || Uummat - The mental fortitude granted by this magic is substantial, allowing adept the user to easily enhance their magic.  And so whenever the user casts a supportive spell, the recipient has 5% of their total MP pool restored.  This applies to heals, buffs, shields, and practically anything non combative that has fixed targets.  It also grants the user a passive 55% buff to melee damage.
Floe - With the intermingling of aether and the caster's mana, it creates something potentially dangerous for others' consumption.  Due to this, the caster has a 50% spell cost reduction and anyone who consumes the caster's magic will only receive half the mana than usual.

    Lineage:
