The way was long, but with the dawn of a new day, the ship was finally flying above the land people called Midi. Leila was here only once before, and to this day, she remembered this place's beauty vividly. Especially the one think that this land was most known for, it's cherry trees that bloomed in the most graceful of manners, filling the air with dancing petals. Probably wasn't that good for whoever had to clean it all up afterwards, but for those who were simply visiting this country, it was something breathtaking. Even now, as they rode on the airwaves above the nation, she could see the pink-colored trees down below. Anticipation started filling her heart as they got closer and closer to the landing platform where few samurais waited, patrolling and guarding the spot to make sure that no smugglers or such make it to the festival that was currently going on. According to the information that they received few hours ago from the ship's crew, there were two different events going on at the same time. Which meant that there was a decision waiting for Leila once she would leave the ship. And finally, they landed. Along with the other passengers, she started going down the wooden bridge that connected the deck with a landing platform. Receiving her bag back along with Ori who jumped up on her shoulder, couple of the samurais stopped her. Her coat was pretty big, nearly perfect for hiding objects for smuggling, so it was only natural that they wanted to inspect her. Though a bit uncomfortable, the security found nothing at all that was forbidden and let her go. With a sigh, she made her way onto a paved road that was surrounded by blooming sakuras from both sides. The view truly was beautiful, no matter how one looked at it. And romantic too, this nation surely served as a great visitation center for pairs that were madly in love. Leila herself could imagine visiting this place in such situation, if she was to ever find a soulmate, partner that would be dear to her heart. Of course, that was something that would not happen for a while yet, most likely. Especially considering her romantic interests.

Crouching down, she picked up a single fallen petal from those trees and looked at it up close. The pink saturation was described as 'too girly' by some, but deep inside, even the tough boys knew that this scenery was almost out of this world. Starting to head towards a big, oriental looking hall, she noticed several stands that were along the road as well. She wanted to start walking around as soon as possible, but buying something nice for herself before doing that would surely not hurt. The only problem was that the number of stand was just too great for her right now. She never thought that the day would come... but today... there were too many options for her! And she only had so much jewels and tolerance. It would be pretty bad if she got something like sugar poisoning after eating too many sweets. In the end, she ended up standing in front of a crepe stand, buying one that should taste like melons. Such a nice, sweet treat and they were only selling it in this country. Sitting down on a bench with her little snack, she started thinking how nice it would be if one of these people were to move to Fiore and start their business over there, spreading the local cuisine. They would get popular in to time at all, especially with people that like sweet things. Or maybe not, who really knew... there was some reason they all stayed in Midi, not venturing beyond the borders. Perhaps the income from tourism here was simply too great for them to leave. It was a sad train of thoughts, but probably accurate one. Once the crepe was finished, she stood up once more to head into the great hall nearby.

Inspecting the local architecture, it was nothing short of unique as well. Building that were made mostly out of ornate wood boasted fancy tiles on the floor and decorative paper covering the walls, giving them a lovely, pure white color that was normally achieved with paint and facade. But here, the connection to nature was way stronger than in other nations that were using 'modern' style for building their homes. A giant lily pad decorated the wall across main entrance, surrounded by few smaller lily pads at both sides. All of the light inside was also provided by lanterns that were hanging by chains from wooden planks, sticking out of the walls. In rose garden, most of the lights were created by magic. But here, good old coals and wax candles did the trick. Small tables all around the room were filled with delicious looking wine and foods, people sitting around them on comfy looking pillows instead of on chairs. All of it looked appealing, but Leila had to decide how to enjoy her stay here. The time she could spend here was limited after all, which was a great shame... but there was just no way around it. And the fact that she was terrible with decisions didn't quite help either. Sighing, she leaned against one of the walls and started searching through her pockets. In the meantime, Ori started exploring around, climbing various furniture and looking at people from afar with his curious gaze. It was pretty clear that he wanted to run outside and play among the fallen sakura petals, but his respect didn't allow him to do that until his master had concrete plan and clear mind. After few seconds, the young mage managed to find a coin inside one of her coat's inside pockets. Nodding to the inner thought of this probably being the best way of deciding what she should to, she carefully placed it on her hand and flung it. After several flips in the air, the coin landed gracefully on the floor.

Looking closely at the coin that decided her actions, tails were facing upward. With that, Leila picked up the shining wheel from the ground and sighed. Fighting samurais sounded interesting, but she was here enjoy serenity. Not to fight countless battles with sword wielding masters of kenjutsu. A brief image of a certain samurai ran through her mind, but she paid little attention to it. Nodding towards the little furry creature that was patiently waiting, her didn't waste any time and immediately ran outside. He was smart and capable of tracking Leila if they were to separate. Which meant that she could leave him to his own fun while she enjoyed herself. The festival would last for three days straight and there was so much to do, so much to try. Though all the fun was to start once evening would arrive. Deciding to look around Midi until then, Leila left the building as well, only to find herself walking between homes on the nearly deserted streets. Everyone was either inside, preparing for the evening's festivities, or they were near or inside the great hall where she was just a little while ago. Just walking about with no clear goal in mind, many would not enjoy it, especially as there wasn't much to see at all in the section of the city where Leila was right now. But she was just glad that she could enjoy something like this, walk around without having to worry about anything. Especially hostile creatures coming out of bushes, wanting to tear her apart with their claws and fangs. For once, all of the defense was left to the samurais that were guarding everywhere. Thanks to them, not a mouse would be capable of sneaking into places where people were. And with that, there was absolutely no need to worry about anything.

The evening came soon and Leila slowly made her way back. Walking on the stones that marked the clear path, each of her steps causing a small clacking sound. From the sides, she would hear water and smell the sweet sakura wine. It didn't take long before she was mixed in with a larger crowd of people, all, or at least the majority of them clearly tourists from other parts of the continent. Everyone wanted to come here and enjoy the view of the blooming sakuras. And she could not blame them. As it got later in the day, people started preparing large and very long tables along the paths, scooting all chairs they had towards them and slowly preparing various meals and drinks for all the people. The necklace she had around her neck shimmered, as it reflected all of the lights around, showing respect to the dancing flames that illuminated her roads now. The agency was truly generous, as the pendant also made it known that she didn't have to pay a single jewel for anything. That made her a little hesitant to enjoy herself, as she felt mildly guilty for stuffing herself and not even paying one copper, but that passed in a jiffy. Soon, she sat down at the edge of one of these tables, quickly taking one of the wine glasses and a plate with chicken salad for the start. The array of meals was so big that anyone would choose here, even those most demanding. Pouring water into one glass and wine into another, one of the waitresses made sure she had something to drink to her grub. All people that had these roles were wearing traditional clothes, kimonos and yukatas with beautiful designs. And the younger waitresses even boasted short skirts too, only adding another eye-candy for the customers that demanded complete satisfaction. It quickly reminded her of the time where she had to work in a maid cosplay café. That memory quickly made her blush as her body suddenly felt much weaker from all the embarrassment.

It was surprising when Leila first found out, but her body was handling alcohol very well. Maybe it was because her body was different from one that a normal human would have, but she never really got completely drunk, even when she tried. Those times certainly were good ones, when Leila was in that age and wanted to try everything. One time, she managed to sneak a bottle of vodka under father's nose and drink it all. Even that didn't get her fully drunk. Just thinking about that made her grin brightly. At least that expression wasn't out of place anymore, as all the people around her were laughing as they talked and drank together. Bringing the glass with the wine, she would sniff first before taking few sips. It's quality was no mistake, it's taste nothing short of amazing. Of course, she would get into a mildly drunk state after drinking some, but she always retained control and would never allow herself to do something stupid or say too much in that state. Which also meant that she could easily pretend to be drunk and fool other by answering them untruthfully to their questions. Now that she thought about it, it actually sounded like a great fun that she should certainly try at some point. But not now, at least not yet. There was still too much food to try out before pretending to be drunk to the bone. What caught her attention most was a melon that lied not too far away from her. She planned to take it as soon as she would finished her salad, but another hand started extending towards it. Noticing it, her mage reflexes and speed suddenly kicked in, as several blue petals appeared around her body and the melon was suddenly on her side of the table, ready to be eaten. Few people that noticed what just happened only stared in awe as blue petals slowly appeared and disappeared around the young mage who was continuing to eat, pretending like nothing at all happened. Though it will eventually become a problem when the petals start falling into the food... at least they were magical and self cleaning.

Post by Jiyu Kazehime 27th August 2016, 9:01 pm

    3915 words

Jiyu knew of the travel agency anniversary thingy that was taking place in every country except Fiore seemingly. First off? She lived in Rose Garden, residing within the Silver Moon Inn that was owned by Black Rose, which recently had become less Guild and more Family, considering the things that had happened to her! Within the last few months, she’d been rescued, worked hard, fought hard, played harder and oh become a fucking half demon! Also Jiyu was convinced if whoever murdered her mother found out she was fostering demon blood inside her body, they’d come back for her, convinced her mother died to ensure she did not prove to her killer she was demon, so the man would leave her child, little seven year old Jiyu, alone. In the end? That was not far from the truth of her mother’s murder, but in truth the woman’s killer had known for sure the elder Kazehime was a demon, and had not been smart enough to know her biological daughter born with someone outside the family, had to be at least half demon. The fact that her human blood could keep her demon blood dormant for years? Had never occurred to the inu that had killed her mother. Thus the dual eyed girl was spared, and grew up wanting only revenge for the murder of her mother, which no one else had believed was murder. However after training with her mother in that time gem, tasting blood for the first time, awakening her demonic blood; Jiyu was beginning to realize she could go after other things she wanted as well, so long as she was careful about her status as half demoness.

Of course how was a rising star suppose to keep anything secret. Anyone who looked at the news lately, knew that she had suddenly sprouted elfin ears and an incredibly fluffy tail!

Anyway’s, Kazehime had at first held no interesting in visiting the foreign countries, she’d spent several years of her life on boats, running from everything. Now that she had somewhere that she felt like she belonged for the first time? Jiyu did not want to give into the temptation to run once more, she always felt however like something was closing in on her, and it made her want to run. The reason she went out on so many missions? Was the fact she had trouble staying in one place and being at ease after so long watching out for herself, especially after her kidnapping, staying still just did not sit with the wind mage! Kazehime was always trying to go somewhere, and eventually people sometimes noticed this, so she’d be approached about taking the trip as a sort of Public Relations thing. Since she didn’t want to run away this time thought? The wind user had curtly turn down the original company that approached her, rozette travel, not that they had not been quick to state they would leave a translation lacrama, ticket or something open for her encase she chose to go in the end, but she had turned them down nonetheless. Going somewhere so swiftly after coming to terms with the fact she never wanted to leave Black Rose? It just did not seem right to go on some sort of long travel, not so soon, at least not to Jiyu’s own mind. Thus at first she had sworn up and down there was no way to get her on that trip. Even offering to pay the wind user? Would not have worked, she didn’t want to go on the long trip, but there had been a loophole she didn’t realize. During the time she traveled as a run away, Jiyu had worked on many ships to secure passage and food! Those captains and crew member’s remembered her well; Who wouldn’t remember a fourteen old little girl working her ass off or a busty seventeen year old flirt who wore only a bikini and also worked hard? Sometimes the ships she had once traveled on would need an extra crew member for a certain trip, and they would contact her, the wind mage putting aside her magic duties to aid them, since she did owe them a good deal, considering they’d allowed her passage back when she was too young for a passport or too busy to get one. These days? They kept it a secret that she had once traveled without a passport and she helped them on harder passages!

Jiyu had never once thought about the fact one of those ships she once stowed away on could be the same one secured by the travel company for their event. Not even considering it one of the possibilities? Had been the biggest mistake she made recently! Several days ago, the wind mage had been contacted by the elderly captain of a ship. “I’m just too old and don’t have enough crew members to make sure nothing goes wrong, and this is a big contractors special event! You think you can help me out on this one kid?” most of the captains she was involved with called her kid, since when they met her she might as well have been one. Clearly? Kazehime had no obvious reason to refuse his plea for her help, so she somewhat eagerly accepted, the date was given and she started packing for the voyage. Of course? She had forgotten to ask him for details, but when did those things matter at all? Well this time, the details had been important enough that Jiyu would regret not asking about them! However that story was for a little bit later, for now the short wind user was laying on her bed, resting with her suitcase packed for something like a week long sail, not knowing that this one could be much longer and more invested than what she suspected. The only thing left to wait for, so the story would start? Was the sun to break through and awaken the sleeping half demoness, to prompt the next adventure she’d have with one of her friends; Not that Jiyu knew any of this yet, she was peacefully asleep.

“Thanks so much for showing up Jiyu, with your life as a rising star in the mage world I didn’t think you’d still have time for people simple as us.” it was the biggest joke when she reunited with the captains and crews from ships she had once stowed away with, that she had actually settled down in a guild and become something. When she sailed with them? Everyone had been fairly sure she would never get that far, a child running away from everything and never letting the world catch up to her. However someone, Jiyu had gotten somewhere and they were just happy the wind user was doing well. “Yeah, Yeah, heard that one Cap Moby, so what do you need me to do this time? Do I get a room?” his ship had gotten an upgrade from the last time she sailed on it, that was for sure! She had been wondering why they were not meeting at the docks this time and that was because he had gotten his hands on a sky ship. Which, made her seriously question why he needed her, the half demoness experience was with sea bearing ships! “Why do you need me on an air ship?” the female grumbled it slightly, messing with the feathers tucked into her hair, she liked flying on her own more. However she had promise Moby she would help with all this and she was not about the back out on him now, she owed the captains who had helped her get around and fed her for three years, she owed them greatly! “Well I figured you’d enjoy this one and I could use an extra person to just help keep things running smoothly around the ship, this is a big contact as I told you, and you’ve always been good at putting people back in place.” Every single word spoken by the dark grey haired man only served to make the half demon more and more concerned about what was going on here! “Why would I enjoy this one exactly?” they all thought she liked long travel, but that was not her anymore, she was now likely trapped into doing a sail that was much longer than she had predicted, likely. “Yeah Guess I A- Don’t Touch My Tail!” she grabbed the sensitive appendage with her own small hands holding the fluffy thing to her body, hugging it in an attempt to keep it safe. Quickly after obtaining it? Jiyu had disocvered even a single finger touched to her tail could send her into a submissive show of desperation, whimpers and whines, sounds she’d rather now make; In short it was an erogenous zone, a major one, that would nearly give someone control of her if they got their hand onto it. SInce discovering that? She’d nearly bit anyone who tried to even touch it in passing, she did not want shamed in the way having her tail gripped by someone would! “So that is a tail, and your ears? Calm down, anyways this flight is for rozette travel, Midi, Seven, and Joya, lots of places to explore for you!” she bit her tongue, to keep from yelling at him, the man had no way of knowing that the only reason she went far from Black Rose these days was because of her wanderlust, not because she really liked being far away anymore. “Yes, their both real, I’m half dog demon.” he didn’t flinch or anything at her confession, his eyes narrowed and she guessed she’d hear about it later, but Moby seemed to have no immediate problem with her status as not fully human.

“You do get a room by the way, and a translation lacrama, I know your multilingual to a point, but we need to be extra careful.” she accepted the glowing silver trinket and slid it around her neck, tucking her hair behind a pointed ear once more. Standing there? She wondered if he was ever going to point her in the direction of her room, odd optics narrowed on the man; Once he saw that Jiyu was in no mood to play with people any longer, the middle aged man nodded slightly and took the woman's bag from her, guiding her through the hallway below deck, to show Kazehime to her room. Once they reached it? “This one is yours, everyone has access to deck, go up when you feel like it, please try to enjoy this.” the wind mage would have fun on this trip, once she got over being bitter over borderline being tricked into coming on it. Kazehime slammed the door in his face, trademark behavior when she was ticked, and then she brisked over to her bed and flopped down onto it, muffling her aggravated scream within her soft downy pillow. The exact trip she had refused to go on? Was now the one she was embarking on, even if she was crew not passenger, it was no different to Jiyu, fingers pinching up the bridge of her sensitive noise. At the very least? This was an exclusive sort of thing, so there was no over stimulation for her senses, she didn’t have to try to restrain them on ship to avoid being bed ridden. Thought? The wind mage still thought it best to control her demon traits and even hide her physical demon features to make sure they wouldn’t be an issue if other countries had an issue with demons, even though she was half human as well.

After stewing for a bit and thinking about things? Jiyu changed into her ankle long short sleeved dress and tied her hooded cape around her shoulders, sliding the hood up; Now she could go up onto deck. Jiyu nearly had a heart attack at what she saw on deck, the small feline like creature, Ori running around the deck bored, and if he was here that meant Leila was as well! Suddenly the trip she thought might become enjoyable as it went along, was an utter nightmare. The last time Leila had seen her? She’d been human.

Jiyu spent the rest of the voyage to Midi in her room, expect when she was needed to break up fights or such.

After they had been on the sea of air for about a full day or so, the announcement that they’d docked in the sky ship ports was made. However? Jiyu could not pull herself out of her own bed, she was exceedingly tired for some reason that would refuse to be pinpointed! Ever since she found out Leila was aboard the half demoness had been over using her senses to keep exact tabs on the eden mage in a bid to utterly avoid her and Ori, make sure neither became aware of her presence aboard the ship. Before coming on this trip? Liela just hadn’t contacted her for a mission since Jiyu’s transformation, and that was why they had no active contact. Prior to seeing Ori prancing around and realizing her friend was aboard the ship? Kazehime had no fear of the other girl finding out about her being a half demoness, heck people she did not even know had knowledge of it due to nosy reporters and blogs wanting some info on the rising stars and such! However the second she saw Ori prancing around the deck and realized Leila was aboard, this all consuming fear of what the other girls reaction to the transformation would be, just crept up and threatened to suffocate Jiyu. Laying there in her bed on the ship? She could just see the Eden Mage calling her a liar, fake, never wanting to see her again, being upset over this, Black Rose had not been mad at her, but every single person in the world was different! For all the wind user knew, Leila could have something against demons and sever their friendship because of her new status as half demon. For all Jiyu knew? Leila could already know and was actually avoiding contacting her because of it! The allied mage could already have decided she was done with a half demon who had not identified herself as such right away, not waited to hear the fact Jiyu had not known what she was until the transformation. The thought of being hated for something she could never have helped or avoided? Frighted the young mage so much that she lay in her bed for hours after docking, toiling over it and wrecking the space her brain inhabited, until tears nearly pricked her eyes, her mentality and being was being consumed by fear. Eventually, the captain came in to check on his crew-mate and suggested the wind mage go get a drink, simply enjoy one of the festival’s going on right now, one focused on Cherry Blossoms and the other Sword Fighting. Considering both were so large that even if she was in the same one as the girl she was now scared of, Leila would never cross paths with her this late in the day? Jiyu agreed with his suggestion.

When the wind mage went off the ship and ventured forward to attempt to explore one of the festivals, she was still wearing her dress and cloak to conceal her demon features, bare feet treading carefully on the ground. While she thought about the sword fighting festival for a minute or two? The wind mage knew such a thing would never again be a good idea for her, Jiyu was a powerful mage, no one could deny that, however the body she had even after becoming that of a half demon, well her body was incredibly weak. In terms of winning a hand to hand fight? Kazehime would lose almost everytime and she would not be much better at sword fighting or such things, she could barely grip a weapon long enough to use it and her claws got in the way all the time. Hopefully Leila had been swayed to the appeal of cutting and slicing at people in a bid to help prove who was the best samuri or such of the land! With all the petals fallen and swaying around, the stands and food? Jiyu’s nose was overwhelmed and pin pointing Leila with no scent article or starting point would be very difficult! Plus she did not want to waste the time she could be using to have fun for trying to avoid a mage she might not even stand a chance at running into, it was pointless to worry about her friend right now. However the fear still pricked at her.

Every was so much for the half dog demoness, hiding her status as such was no issue, and with the dress and cloak, better yet there was no way anyone would bother recognizing her if magic matters touched this far, with such attire. When someone normally dressed in a way that showed the world everything they had? No one expected them to hide their body like this! Thus the canine knew she would be able to freely enjoy this festival no matter what, the fear of Leila finding her finally vanishing. Even if Leila saw her? The eden mage would never think she’d be dressed like this, the phoenix would walk right by her! Laughter echoed out of her creamy throat, fan being held open slightly in front of her face as her eyes gleamed, looking off to the side; Once her laughter subsided the glowing blue object was tucked back up her sleeve alongside her dagger. While she had not brought night hunt out of the ship? She did bring the small stuff for self defense just encase, after all you could never know what would happen! Back on track however, there was so much stimulation all over in this festival, it was beyond what she experienced in Rose Garden even.

Elfin ears twitched from beneath her hood, eyes darting in the direction of the noise. For the longest time now? Jiyu had been wandering the festival alone, never touching anything or partaking, maybe slightly lost, unable to really direct herself due to the over stimulation; Normally she relied on her senses and sixth magnetic sense, now only one was really functioning right. Miraculously the canine had actually made her way to the main viewing area, where the food tables and such had been set up, but she was having trouble finding somewhere to sit, actually just getting the thought to sit down all the way through her brain, past the stimulation bombarding her senses, that was next to impossible. Sometimes? She would get weird looks for walking around as she was doing, but the wind user did not mind, it was just the way this was going to go! At least, they were focused on making sure people were happy, some random stranger offering her cherry cotton candy, as if they knew her weakness, and she accepted throwing the rule of never taking candy from strangers to the wind! Jiyu was a big girl and a mage, besides who would try to drug her in such a public place, the fluffy cloud of goodness had to be safe. Not thinking any further, she sunk her fangs into the pure sugar. The one negative thing about her fangs? They made eating stuff like this, just a tad hard, to avoid biting herself she had to grip the candy with her tongue to tear it once she had her mouth around it, since fangs were not the best for consuming such thin material. Her mouth? Was made for tearing flesh, not eating clouds, even if she ever so did love this cherry flavors grab, a small moan coming from her throat. The fact she would have to find the cotton candy salesman again once she finished this piece of heaven, was in the back of her mind. However finally nothing else haunted her brain, just the cherry taste of her treat.

In the trance state induced from eating pure sugar, that was the time she finally found Leila within, when she was too stimulated to think straight, her feet carrying her forward before she could even have a chance to remember her fear. Odd optic widened when the Eden Mage suddenly used her magic to secure a melon someone else had been about to grab, adding blue petals to the flurry of pink ones, it was funny seeing a fully grown magic user suddenly treat their magic like a child's toy, and so it brought laughter from Jiyu’s throat. The velvet tone of her chuckle? Was so clearly her’s, and her eyes closed with it, head angling down slightly as she looked down; Who would have thought the mage so serious on missions had such an intense thing for melons. Kazehime had known of Leila’s like for the fruit, due to scent, but she had never suspected it went that far, some things could be only learned by time and sight. Jiyu’s sugar rush was still in control as she shifted from foot to foot, sorta dancing to the light music being played almost everywhere. Old habits died hard, as the cotton candy covered the lower half of her face and her head cocked to the side. “Now who's going to end up cleaning these up?” her hand extended and caught several of the blue petals falling from Leila, alongside some of the lightly glowing pink ones. Those sakura petals? Almost exactly matched the pale pink of Jiyu’s lips and the blue petals could  be drawn somewhat to the mages blue eye, and both were falling around the for once decently dressed wind mage. Kazehime took another bite from the cotton candy and lowered it, a piece stuck to the outside of her lip, those same lips touched a pale shade of red now from the sugary treat. “Oh well.” it was a side comment as she propped one hand against the matching hip, taking a single step forward before blowing leila’s own petals along with a few of the pink ones, back into the golden mage’s face, swaying backwards afterwards causing her waist long hair to bounce.

It was only after she had spoken, done things to alert Leila of her presence, that Jiyu realized what she had done. Once she noticed who she had been speaking to, just what had happened? The wind mages face could not catch up to her mind thinking ‘oh shit here it comes, she hates me, damn it now my memories of her will be ruined’ her expression being stuck in that friendly and playful smile. Coming to this festival was a bad idea after-all, it was sweet and romantic, it was perfect, everything was cast in this overly happy glow, but sometimes things could not be sugar coated like this. Jiyu had no way of knowing Leila didn’t even know she was a half demon yet, she had just so quickly assumed that the Eden Mage had found out somehow, never once considered the fact Leila might not have gotten to know yet. However soon enough, the thought would strike her and she would do everything possible to hide her status as a half demon from Leila, under the belief it would shatter their friendship.

The evening truly was growing long at this point, even with the treat of melon in her hands. Ori was gods know where, and she was here enjoying the festival all alone. It was a depressing thought, the fact that she had absolutely no one that could sit next to her and share a story or perhaps a drink. Suddenly, the whole idea of going around all these nations sounded really depressing. Perhaps it was the wine... or maybe it was just Leila's unstable personality that was starting to flow to the surface. And despite hearing something that sounded familiar in the background, she decided that this was simply not enough! "Aaah, screw it! I'm here to enjoy this! Yeah, just watch me!" Completely ignoring everyone and everything around her, the girl suddenly jumped from her seat and grabbed a whole bottle of the Sakura wine that was sitting nearby, ready for it's content to be divided into several glasses. But something like that would not be enough! Removing the lid, Leila started drinking it all straight from the bottle like it was water! A sight that no one was probably expecting... a young girl that was determined to get drunk on this delicious wine. And in the spirit of this festival, instead of stopping her, the people around her suddenly started cheering. Apparently they loved it and started shouting words like "More, more, more!" and so on. To fulfill their request, Leila continued drinking until there was not a single drop left in the entire bottle. Downing it all down in a single go like this, it certainly was some kind of feat. The laughs were even louder now as several other men tried to imitate her, the table she was sitting at suddenly turning from elegant to straight up table for drunks and people who wanted to enjoy their life.

Even with her resistance to the alcohol, she had so much inside of her that she managed to get at least a little drunk. The blue petals were still flying everywhere around, and it was in this moment that her eyes finally wandered towards a girl most familiar. "H..huh..?" Unsure of what she was looking at, the young mage tried wiping her eyes little, blinking and even shaking her head. But Jiyu's figure did not disappear, it remained standing there, her expression looking kinda like if she was shocked. "Jiyuuu~" The sudden shout from drunk Leila, it certainly had to be a new experience for the wind mage. Honestly, who didn't love seeing their friends completely drunk. Well... she wasn't exactly completely drunk, but the way she was acting certainly has been affected. For she didn't hold back in the slightest, jumping from her seat and crashing into the poor girl, hugging her with all force she had in her body. "Ahaha, it really is Jiyu! What'cha doing in place like this? Oh... wait, there is something..." It appeared as if Leila just noticed something about her friend. And as she did, their faces suddenly grew closer as the girl got a proper grip on Jiyu's shoulders, pulling her body up. And without any warning, she suddenly licked just slightly below Jiyu's lips, leaving a small trail of saliva. "Hehe, someone had a sweet candy." Apparently she did that because there was a small piece of it remaining on her face. But it was dangerously close to being a little kiss.

    646 words

Evening air hung warm and moist in the viewing field, condensation forming on the grass which Jiyu had stepped onto, the wetness slipped easily between her toes and crept in tiny drops onto her feet, bringing odd sensations to her skin. Most of the people around? Wore things that could be considered yukata, but happened to be significantly shorter, only going to the knees and were short sleeved; Compared to such dress Jiyu stood out like a sore thumb! For once, the wind witch stood out because she was not wearing the attire of a common street whore, her bikini top and daisy dukes left on the ship, and likely not to be used the whole trip! Anyone seeing her elfin ears of fluffy canine tail, well the option did not existed if either thing happened the wind mage would rather die than face the music from unintended people finding out about her status as a half dog demoness. Especially the girl in front of her, Leila couldn’t know, if she didn’t know already, Jiyu had to keep this secret from her! If the eden mage found out about her newly awoken demon blood? Kazehime had no doubts the other girl would come to hate her over it.

Now focusing in on the golden phoenix mage, Jiyu was beginning to think something was wrong. Under average conditions? Leila responded promptly to her every action and sentence; This time however, nothing was said in response to the words of the wind user, at least not directly. Keeping her gaze steady, the canine tried to figure out was going on as Leila finally took note of her, and flung herself at Jiyu, who stumbled back, distracted as the other girl held her. As they stayed there in that embrace? The cloaked female finally caught the thick scent of wine coming from the slightly taller girl and noticed what was going on! Leila was drunk. Suddenly, Kazehime was less delighted about this run in, looking down at the woman clinging to her chest, trying to to bunch up her nose and face at the rank scent of the sweet wine. Normally? She only smelled booze at the inn or on Marschal, she wasn’t used to this certain wine scent and especially not the scent of wine period on a girl like Liela! Everything in the female’s mind turned to the fact her friend was drunk, and she had never encountered her drunk before, realizing how much wine was splayed around the festival she suddenly became uncomfortable and you could see it! “Moby told me I wasn’t allowed to stay on the ship, had to go see the festival.”

Crap, what if leila knew the ship captain's name too, than she would know that Jiyu had been the same ship all along! Talk about creepy? Well pretty soon it was not the wind mage being a little too intimate, quickly it switched to Leila consuming that roll, the Eden Mage leaning up and aiming towards what Jiyu thought was her lips. Red covered the wind user’s face, as she felt a small tongue flick across the space right next to her lips, the image of another filling her mind and preventing her from thinking further. Why had that been? Jiyu wondered why she thought of him when she was in what could be mistaken as a romantic position with leila, arms around her friends back, embracing one another with the girls tongue trailing away from her face. Honestly all of this was unsettling for Jiyu, especially after mopping around the entire ride here.

“Come on, you should get back to the ship Leila, and it’s cotton candy.” the female moved the item so the other made could bite it, before attempting to take her hand for once, and lead the girl back towards the ship they had come in on.

Festivities, pt. II [Job] Empty Re: Festivities, pt. II [Job]

Jiyu sure was speechless if she didn't even answer Leila's little question. But it didn't really matter, the fact that she was here was enough. What reasons could have brought the girl to this festival, Leila did not really care. Especially in this state she did not. And after that first taste, she wanted lick Jiyu's face little bit more, not even thinking of it as something weird. It was shame that her friend didn't share that desire and instead started walking her away from this place. "Eeeh? But the festival ain't even over yet... oh well, if that's what Jiyu-chan wants~" Wrapping her own hands around Jiyu's, she embraced her as if they were lovers or something, cuddling with the girl's skin as much as she could. And even if she tried to get Leila off, she wouldn't budge at all. It was like that all the way to the ship where they would spend the night. However it went, Leila was cleansed by the morning. And her head wasn't even in pain, her body truly was amazing. The only problem was that the ship was already flying in the air, heading towards it's next destination. Thankfully Ori was smart enough to follow the two girls when he spotted them returning, meaning that he wasn't forgotten and left alone in the land of Midi. That was at least one relief. But there was something else that Leila had to do, urgently. Looking around the whole ship, it would take some time before she found the person she was looking for. Jiyu who helped her last night. Unsure how to approach her in this situation, she simply did the simplest thing. She approached her like she would in any other situation.

"Jiyu... ah... em... how to say this... sorry about yesterday. Your imagine of me must have really changed after seeing me in that state, huh? It's fine if you hate me for it, only... no, nevermind. Sorry once again." Turning her back towards the wind user, she didn't quite know what to do. Ori jumped into her arms to cheer the girl up to the best of his capacity. But this was one troublesome situation indeed. And judging by the scenery below them, it was clear that they had already crossed borders of Midi. In fact, they were above Seven already. After all, they were flying above vast beautiful forest with several giant trees in the distance. Those trees were where they would stop, as they were hollowed out and transformed into homes. The city they were visiting was made out of homes that were on or inside of trees, connected by bridges. And down below, a great lake with several homes and piers. It was truly beautiful place. The only question was if Leila would actually have any desire to see this place... it all honestly depended on Jiyu's response right now.
