PETALS DANCE FOR OUR VALEDICTION ♦ semi-open, Elyx's Birthday.

Birthday. Well it was his. While the elegant and gentle flower petals would sway gently in the wind, there was no more time to indulge in the meadows. Dolche. That meant sweet. Like the air, which had much less of a tangy taste on his tongue. Instead, it tasted a bit like... Taffy, except without all of the stickiness from whatever glue-like substance the candy had been laced with. What particularly allowed this to happen? Would it be embarrassing for one to admit that they had forgotten the day of their existence? Naturally, the Wizard Saint would casually be looking through his files one day to notice that his date of birth had passed. Not even giving it any more than a glance, he'd probably carelessly place the file back and shrug his shoulders. With all that had been going on in his life, especially the recent events, there was so many things that were locked up in the back of his mind. So much that many of the details that had not been reminded to him were shoved off the edge. One might think it was odd for him to forget his birthday out of all things. It was never celebrated last year, which he figured was normal in a guild. What did he know about how birthdays were thought of? He had literally never been in a birthday party ever since he had joined Fiore, showing how much importance it probably had. And for some daft reason there was any crucial aspects, they were ignored by him. Today just seemed like a normal day for the brunette. Well, a normal resting day at least. While the meadows were not like his own area and was public to the area, the fact that they were so beautiful and calming was enough for him to feel enough pleasure to call it a birthday.

Alas, the sun was eventually going to start going down provided time had been thrown in the trash for only looking at the green blades that had been summoned by the dirt. Taking one more moment to indulge in the moment, a deep breath being taken to gain the last sweet whiff of the air before his eyes would avert away. The opposite side began to reveal a darker light, that being the moon. Evening. That was where his home was located as well, meaning this very moment was the last before entering the darkness once again. Should he make a brief escape from the meadows and into his home? It would take about ten seconds at the most. Yet, such a quick way to leave behind the sunlight, that was not what he wanted to do. So the young mage would travel the way any other person would when they are in no rush to leave their current location. Walking. And so as he paced towards his home, he could feel the air thickening all over again, and the taste it left on his mouth was once again tangy. What a nice way to end the moment. When he returned, there was not going to be a load of papers waiting for him to be signed, there would not be a bunch of people asking him for favors, nothing of the sort. Just knowing that alone gave him peace of mind, and that was the one thing he loved more than anything in the world.

Scratch that, there was something more valuable than peace itself. And while she may sometimes be a pain in the butt, she means well with what she does. Plus, there were no recent incidents involving her, showing there there had in fact been improvement. His mind was optimistic about that, believing that the Tanuki had been trying to change herself for the better. Nothing really was making her change, despite him possibly telling her to multiple times. For a birthday to be remembered though, in a guild, Iza would most likely avoid a birthday as well. But what he had seen when he arrived to his house would bring him back to reality. There she was when the brunette arrived. The first question in his mind was "What did she steal? What do I need to replace in my house now?". The second one however involved one object. "Why is there a white bag there? Is that Iza's?" Playing it off cool however, he'd casually greet her rather than interrogate her. These answers will most likely arrive at a later time. The future Elyx can endure the headache, but not today. Not while he had a peaceful day in the green meadows. Hey love! What's up? Anything I can do for you? He'd ask casually, making sure he had nothing revealing any questions he actually had.

Well, without his guard up, what exactly was he going to have to brace for? What exactly could he move away from in time? The answer was nothing, since Iza seemed to be in a good mood, there was no reason to spoil it. Two firm soft arms embraced his waist, lovingly capturing his being and causing him to fall onto his back. Perhaps he might have braced his feet against the floor provided he was not in a current state of shock from the three words that she let out from her lips. Happy birthday. It was his birthday, and completely forgotten about it. Wow... But before giving thought to the concept, he'd focus on the present, which is his girlfriend. He'd chuckle as the sneaky tanuki would have him in her grip, and without him resisting, he'll probably stay grounded until she was satisfied. Well, at least his arms were available, and so he would return the favor by gently wrapping his own arms around her while still down for the moment. However, there were no words to say. What could he say? Oh thanks Iza! I am so glad to have a girl like you remind me when my birthday is! Like someone stupid would say. Sometimes, silence was just the better answer. Eventually however, the embrace would be let go of, the both of them separating from each other before she would go over to get the bag that had his wondering. Nothing could be sensed, no traps or anything that would make him look stupid. It took a LOT of willpower for him to not try to activate any of his abilities, especially the Hard Armor.

For me? The Sky Slayer asked like an idiot. What a role model! Ladies, this guy is about to become single! If you want someone stupid and can forget his own birthday, make sure you talk to Iza. She'll tell you. The first thing to pop out was a blue scarf, his favorite color. It felt soft and had a nice color onto it. Something was at the end of it though. Placing his palm under the shiny object, there would be a leaf located there. Or what was shaped like a leaf and could be described as one. There was a bit of magic presence on it, but the value it held, Nimpha would love a treasure like this. Both his light brown eyes were open with awe. Whoa.... Iza! This is amazing! Elyx would announce as he held up the trinket now given to him. So beautiful. Wait... She didn't do this to steal it back now did she? Turning over to her to see her perky facial expression, he would throw the question into the bin of his mind. Eh, it probably did not matter. Look how joyful her facial expression was! It brought happiness to him as well. This leaf... It looks so rare, so beautiful. Where did you even get such a thing? He would ask her, but there was a bit more. The weight of the bag was unusual for it to be empty. Continuing to pressure further against the tissues, his hand would grip a few familiar shapes, rectangles, before he pulled them out of the bag. Chocolate bars! No way! Iza! I... I... Lost for words, he did not really know what to do. Well, one thing came to mind, and like hell will he allow her to say no. To show his gratitude, he'd place the bag down onto the couch. Both palms would be placed onto her shoulders, his light brown eyes hiding as he closed them, and he'd then press his lips against hers to attempt kissing her. Thank you... Izayuki... A whisper before releasing her.

A... What leaf? The Sky Slayer was unfortunately nowhere near skilled with languages. If anything, he'd have a hatred for them. As a child, it was difficult to interpret even... English. It was said that as a child, it was hard for him to speak, simply due to the fact that he was a quiet child. It seemed normal at first, until he was four years old and still had not even let out a word from his lips. By this time, Nea found out that he had some trouble with interpreting the language. So in response, she'd end up... What did this even have to do with this? Placing his right arm over her shoulder as she got close, he'd then think of a new plan. It was his birthday, well what were people supposed to be doing at this time of night to celebrate? One idea came to mind, simply eating. Or sleeping. Though there were memories of him as a child when he would travel throughout the town and go on a shopping spree, he was not sure he should be blowing through all of his jewels like that. But to look at Iza and her smiling face again, he shrugged his shoulders before placing his hands in his pockets. What did he have to lose? Maybe a bit of a purge. On the plus side, he was able to get some things for Iza in the process... Or maybe she would fight him about that and say that it was his special day. Now, why? Though... That did propose an idea... Now there is a gift that he could get for her... And he knows just how to hide it as well... Her magic sensing will probably go against her when it came to this, most likely because of the idea of botching any magic traces that were to locate the destination of the gift.

So all I do is use it, and then I may summon you? Sweet! A new summon, for his girlfriend as well! While that did seem a bit of a dangerous summon, and the fact that he was unable to make a Star Suit from the leaf given, it was still very useful to the point in which he might actually use it for situations that are designed to damn him. And her response to her loving him showed that she might have possibly gotten the concept of love? Either that or she was just throwing words out into the open. Both of those had a good possibility. I love you too, Izayuki. So formal, calling her by her actual name as opposed to the usual nickname he gave her, that being just "Iza". If his arm were around her shoulder, he'd gently pull her close to him as he would use his free hand to pluck a chocolate bar out from it. One might say he needs two hands to open the wrapper. The wind brought him a long way. With a bit of air manipulation, he ramped up the pressure directly in half before having the wind slide the wrappers off the treat. Half for him, and a half for Iza. Shall we go out to celebrate? We need some cake at least! Red velvet~ He knew she loved red velvet. It was such a delicious flavor. Provided the tanuki agreed, he'd walk them both outside of his house, and soon, to the bakery.

The cake and the dessert was all on her. All right! So he would place his hands in his pockets as his light brown eyes would look upwards. What exactly did he want again? There was no specific place that would pop up into his head. So he would then just try to somewhat change the plan. Meh, any place sounds nice. But how about we go for a little walk? It's nice outside today, and the streets are a lot calmer. The Brunette would tell her, attempting to place his arm from behind her back, and onto her hip so that he could place her next to him. Provided this be successful, he would walk the both of them towards the outside, where he and the Bake-Tanuki would meet the outside sky. The moon was fortunately not full, but Crescent. So with that, there hopefully will not be anything that is chaotic. Well, how about we hold up the leaf towards the moonlight. Elyx would ask, having the leaf given to him. It reflected well in moderate light, but how about when he held it up? So he would test this out when he placed the leaf up into the air, right towards the moon. The light would allow this gem to shine brighter than it did back at the house, when it looked like a rare diamond. This elegant sight, all of the white light making the orange-brown colors enhance. Wow... So beautiful... He would whisper with awe.

Wolfe was sitting on a bench at the edge of the park that was looking right at the restaurant hat Izayuki and Elyx were currently eating at. Wolfe was waiting patiently as he sat on the bench leaning back and his eyes taking in the starry night skies. It was peaceful this even, which was a nice addition to the beautiful night. Propped up next to the bench was a fairly large box with a surprise in it for Elyx. He had found out today was Elyx's birthday, and he planned on giving his former team mate, and brother a nice gift. It seemed since his return back into Fiore, Wolfe was on a lucky streak. One random chance encounter after another had happened since his return, each better than the last. Just a little bit ago, he had ran into Izayuki randomly and had a chance to catch up with his former guildmate only to find she had done very well for herself. They had shared an interesting adventure together which caused Wolfe to decide to stay in touch with his old friends more often. The he had met Ravana, and that was turning out to be a love story that was still blossoming.

As his luck streak would continue, Wolfe had called Izayuki earlier that day to catch up with her only to find out today was Elyx's birthday. So he didn't waste any time as he jumped into his workshop and put together a nice little something for his brother.

Now he was just waiting for them to finish their meal. He had no intentions of breaking into their moment. After while Wolfe saw as the two exited the building and made their way outside, but he didn't make his move as he saw Elyx's arm wrapped around Izayuki's waist, and he was looking up into the sky as he held something in his hand. Wolfe had to assume it was a gift from Izayuki, so he was going to interrupt. He knew shortly they would notice him sitting just across the street. Wolfe couldn't help but smile.
