Advent had tried the guild thing when Ardere had offered him a position in Infinity Hydra, he soon found that this wasn't quite the place for him, he disliked the face it wasn't the place for him to settle down more so as he believed Ardere as a friend and hoped even though he left the two could remain that way. One of his guardian's had picked up two requests from the guild's job board as they had left since it seemed to be of the magic council and the request would have been placed everywhere in Fiore, he had been travelling since his last task with someone from Sabertooth though for the life of him he couldn't remember the persons name. Along the way to his destination he took note of a few things "There's something wrong..." he whispered to himself as he stopped, his normal happy smile fading "There are to many magical deaths..." he stated letting out a deep sigh, he hated it when people played with forces they did't understand it made his tasks that much harder.

"I know, I know..." he mumbled as he moved to sit just outside the haunted village "We'll be expecting company most likely so we should just enjoy the harmony" he explained with a small stretch he laid back humming gently as a soft breeze passed as he still didn't get what a magic council was needed for but it was something that his tutor was helping him with so he wouldn't get on the wrong side of said people. "Could you read the request again... I've forgotten" he said turning to be on his stomach leaning on his arms his eyes going to the right as he shuddered somewhat "Now, I see why you chose this one... history repeating itself... but it's not the same, I was a newborn when it happened" his voice sounded somewhat distressed his head lowered "I guess your right" his head moved back towards the village. 'There's only one living within, and they're strong...' he thought to himself glad it wasn't going to be another bloodbath.

It had been a nice sunny day, a perfect day for going outside and experiencing new things while you had fun and made friends, though today Zeno and his companion were doing something rather serious and creepy. They had been assigned a job by the magic council who were in need of some mages to take care of a seven year old who killed people. Nope, you heard that right. The two had believed they would be taking on the job by themselves, but then later recognized that it was the magic council assigning the job and they were always over cautious so they had no doubt in their mind that they were gonna have some more companions to complete the job with. This serious job had required them to travel in the direction towards Haunted Village and as soon as they got there, they knew they were at the right place. Dead trees everywhere with not even a leaf to be seen, spider webs, and old creepy houses.

"So this is the place, huh?" Zeno would say as he began to make sure nothing would attempt to ambush and attack them, while Tito would scan the spots where he left out. Noticing someone not too far away, he would infuse his body with crimson lightning, jumping out at the person until he recognized who it really was. It had been that weird guy he had met at the magnolia park. "A-Advent?" They would say in unison, surprised that they would meet him here at this time.

A message of a very young mage having completely eradicated a village and the request by the Magic Council to arrest the culprit - a seven year old girl. Her crimes could not go unpunished and it was Zenshin's strong sense of justice which had brought him to the Haunted Village. This place felt... dead - for lack of a better word. The job request had already detailed that the young girl had slaughtered a whole guild before the Magic Council caught wind of her and put out a request for her arrest, but to actually feel the ground beneath him and such a dark presence in the air. To say that he was sick was an understatement, though he steeled himself as he had a job to do with apparently two other mages that he saw had arrived before he did. "Oh? What a coincidence. Good to see you again Advent. It seems as though we get to undertake yet another job together. My magical power has returned to me, at least in part, so you don't have to worry about me being a burden once again. I have confidence that we'll be able to bring this girl to justice and collect our reward before she even knew what hit her" he said, happy to see a familiar and - more importantly - reliable face.

In that same vein, he saw another mage which had apparently met Advent before and, arguably more interestingly, had an exceed. "Nice to meet you two. I'm Zenshin. I see you've already met my friend Advent here" he said casually, happy to see yet another new face in the magic world. This new face wasn't as young as Advent, yet still appeared to be much younger than Zenshin. The variety in ages among this generation of mages was quite pleasant to witness. So much room for growth and so much untapped magical potential. He hoped that, should this job go well, they would continue to take up jobs together so that he could witness how they grew. "Would you mind if I asked what guild you were a part of?" he said, his question directed as the newest addition to the team.

Advent looked up hearing his name blinking from underneath his blindfold as he heard a voice he hadn't in a while "Well if it's not Ze and Tito in the flesh... I thought you two got lost in Magnolia park, but here you stand" he chuckled remembering how the three met that day bringing out two apples throwing one at each of them; he had found them on the ground on the way here and decided that it would be a good idea to retrieve them in case he or someone he met along the way needed them "So I guess you got sent here too?" he enquired it wasn't like he was actually sent by any higher power but his guardians had chosen it for him so it may as well have been some higher power in that regard. He winced a little feeling the pulsing from his sleeved arm there was nothing that could be done for it now he knew he would just have to be careful or he would end up being an ally to the enemy and attacking those who he was suppose to be sorting "There's only three, it's not like it's going to happen..." he wrapped his hands around one the wounds and instantly regretted the decision feeling the mind numbing pain that came with it.

His hand moving from his arm to his head as he began to breath deeply 'There's to many... their voices..' he thought to himself, he wanted to voice it but knew given what it pertained to he couldn't because it would just bring up to many questions that he couldn't answer "I wish they would be quiet!" he finally voiced holding his ears unable to prevent himself from doing so his breathing quick and shallow almost as if he was having some sort of panic attack "She didn't just kill them... it was slow... painful..." he shook his head keeping his ears covered trying to guard against the onslaught of details he was being given "She toyed with them... like they were dolls..." he wanted to cover his mouth he felt like he was going to be sick and for once in his life he was glad that he couldn't gain images or else it would have made it so much worse for the youth.

On hearing another's voice it was almost like a clearing light in the darkness, sometimes he wondered how many times he had been cursed given his magic and how he could use it at least he knew here with so much activity his magic would be potent but it also meant it would be wild if he didn't focus or else he and the others would be in some serious trouble "Zenni?" he finally said coming out of his own head a grin appearing on his otherwise concerned face almost like he was trying to push through pain "What you doing here? I didn't expect you after... well you know" he said standing up almost falling forward but catching his balance at the last moment 'I can already tell this job is going to be trouble' he thought to himself covering his mouth to yawn. "Oh? That's good and last time you weren't a hindrance you were..." he didn't exactly want to say psychotic even if that was indeed the case but the last thing he wanted to do was make Tito and Zeno feel at ill ease with Zenshin or the three to be at ill ease with him given that he was getting sick.

"Zenni meet Ze and Tito, Tito and Ze meet Zenni" he said wanting to make the introductions so everyone knew everyone else. He then started to dust himself off "I've gotten a bit stronger myself since our last meeting" he said with a smile happy to hear that the other had gained his magic back, even if it was only in part. "O.. oh yeah... um..." he knew he should at least fill them in a small detail "If you want to know anything about what's inside there, I can perhaps get the answers but I don't know how accurate the information is going to be given she slaughtered everyone... man, woman, child, innocent and killer alike" he looked down his hands becoming fists he didn't want to let them know he could speak with the dead but if they needed the information it would soon become apparent.

His eyes would avert to dead trees, scared by how freaky everything looked but would wander back to Advent, "We didn't get lost, I would say we were scavenging for food." Zeno would reply as an infectious smile would expand his face while the wind blew past, causing his crimson red hair to flow to the side while he smiled towards Advent, from the bottom of his heart, he actually missed this weird but loyal friend. He would be taken aback as he remembered him climbing up the tree and talking to it, though he was weird, Zeno liked him as a friend and considered him someone worth protecting. After all, the three of them were weird, one could talk to ghosts, and the other two were energetic fur balls with a bottomless pit as a stomach. Hopefully they could revive their old friendship and start taking on many jobs together, that would be very fun for both Zeno and Tito as their best friend had recently died to Zeno's father, who one day, would be hunted down by Zeno himself and be defeated to avenge for both Yazuki and his family who was killed by the man, though it would be a difficult task as his dad is said to be stronger than the ten wizard saints. So along the way of his journey, he hope to become stronger for when that fateful day will come where he can kill his father with his own hands.

"My guild sent me, since I have been rather inactive when it came to doing jobs for the guild."Zeno would reply as he would look down and stare at the ground, remembering Yazuki's death once more before he allowed a fake smile to expand across his face, those who really knew Zeno would be able to see through the fake smile and notice the pain he was currently going through, but he tries his hardest to dismiss the pain and live on, without his best friend with him. Suddenly, Advent would become panicked as he yelled out loud in pain from the voices he was hearing, "A-Advent! Are you okay!?" Zeno would ask, caring for him as he himself was shocked as Advent began to tell them about the horrors and how the little girl killed people, causing Zeno to grit his teeth and begin to become enraged. But suddenly all his rage would drown out as someone else appeared, causing Advent to calm down and act as if everything was suddenly okay.

"Hello! My name is Zeno and this is my companion Tito!" Zeno would loudly introduce himself as he would also mention his furry companion Tito. Zeno would examine the man, glaring at him with his piercing gaze, attempting make sure he was not dangerous to hurt him or Advent, but within seconds would return to his idiotic and food-crazed nature. "We're from Black Rose, the top guild in the continent. And we'll make sure they become the strongest!" Zeno explain his goals for the guild to Zenshin as he suddenly moved on to telling him what's so great about Black Rose, "We are like a family, each of us would sacrifice our lives for another member, although I managed to kill a fellow member, he was brought back." Zeno would begin an awkward giggle at the end of his sentence as he remembered how he had killed Horatio the cocky bastard who claimed he was the strongest in the universe, though luckily Izayuki was able to revive his dead, lifeless body. "I am going to become the strongest mage and will make sure that my name will roar on the world of mages." Zeno would say intently as he held his arms behind his head, smiling towards the mysterious mage that they had yet to fully know.

"So..Is anyone else immensely freaked out about this place?" Zeno would say as he would take another glance of the view around him, everything had seemed to be dead, not a place where these go lucky idiots should be.

Post by King Zenshin 16th July 2017, 3:01 pm

Advent was completely unhinged. Something about this job, about this village was messing with his head. I can't exactly know why, but for some reason Advent has already come up with a character for the girl we're here to arrest. She's sadistic? There's no way he could possibly know that. When you're blind and hear voices I suppose its easy to think up a backstory to a truly tragic event he thought as he listened to the youngest among them as he had his panic attack. Despite wishing there was something he could do for the young boy, the only realistic thing that he could do was simply wait until this brief moment of panic passed. It wasn't until Zenshin spoke that Advent calmed down. I guess he likes me? was all that he had to think in response to what had just happened. "And no Advent, I don't know. Why didn't you expect me to be here? Also, what was I if not a hindrance?" he said, pressing for more information to hopefully fill in the memory gap he had with regards to the last job he had done with Advent.

"It's good to meet you Zeno and Tito. It's always better to have more mages, especially on a job like this. The Magical Council wouldn't designate it as a B-Rank job for nothing" he said, a bit concerned as the caliber of the job, though not too concerned. Despite being a C-Rank in terms of power, he had plenty of experience in doing jobs. He looked down at his prosthetic arm - an arm that was lost on a ten year job and was reminded of the Golden Dragon. But now, he had its blessing which only made him stronger. "I'm sure you're also going to be quite an asset Tito. I know a strong exceed when I see one" he continued with a smile, trying to improve the relationship between him and the two new acquaintances as quickly as possible.

He listened as Zeno said they'd make Black Rose the strongest guild in Fiore and laughed a bit at his enthusiasm. "That's great, Zeno! However, it won't be easy when you have to compete with me making sure Sabertooth attains the same status!" he said, his guild pride radiating from his words. "Same goes for you becoming the strongest mage. You've got plenty of competition for that goal, myself included. It's going to take quite a bit, but I hope you achieve it. I'd rather the strongest mage be a legal guilder as opposed to a dark or even neutral guilder" he said, hoping that one day he would see Zeno become the strongest mage, or second strongest, after himself of course. "I don't know if I would say freaked out, but this place is definitely ominous. Like Advent said, this young girl murdered everyone. I don't expect a soul to be alive and to be honest, I hope no one's alive. I can't imagine the psychological torment that would follow someone who saw their entire village - all of their friends and family, slaughtered." he said, a bit sadly.

The smell was pungent, though it was not a smell he was unfamiliar with. The life of a mage was usually followed by such a smell. If one was lucky they would only fight monsters that took the form of beasts, but when monsters took the form of men then the situation turned morally obscure. In this case, the monster took the form of a seven year old girl and even Zenshin with all of his combat experience could not kill her, even if she threatened his life. In his mind, she had to be brought to justice by any means necessary. There was still hope for her, but she had to be taken to a place that could help her. The Magic Council could, as far as he was concerned, assist her in controlling her magic or even purging her of it. Hopefully. Another very real possibility was that they would lock her up for the rest of her life. This possibility was something that he dreaded, though understood.

Advent laughed happily at the two as they tried to explain that they hadn't been lost but foraging for their next meal, it didn't matter how they worded or rationalised it to the younger mage they had been lost inside a park of all things. "You got lost... in a park... doesn't matter how you try and slice it, that's just plain embarrassing" he laughed a bit more. He enjoyed these chance encounters with the two because it was almost as if they shared his madness and that made him feel more at ease in a land that seemed so different from his own home. Hopping to his feet he moved towards one of the trees his head going to it his hand going to its bark almost caressing it much like he had done with the one inside park within Magnolia but this time it was different as he whispered his body would glow a whitish green.

When he stopped glowing he moved back his hand going to his chest but a weak smile was on his face as the tree started sprouting a few new leaves. After a moment he moved back to the group if nothing else he was more sluggish his hand going to his head "That's one of the more unique cycles I've had to do in a while..." he commented his other hand going to his mouth as he yawned, it was clear the young mage had drained himself with what had just been done. Hearing both their concerns he nodded "Yeah there are just to many voices here, they're giving so much information it..." he covered his ears shaking his head shaking head making his long snowy white hair dancing around his athletic body. Though he wouldn't say it they where still feeding him information in vivid detail it was overwhelming to the youth and he was to tired to block them out, then again even if he hadn't done most of it would still have gotten through "There's nothing any of you can do, stop worrying" he said his head turning away from both Zenshin and Zeno as he spoke to what seemed thin air.

After a moment he sat back down because he felt like he was going to fall down, the bases of the feet touching one another which was normal when he was paying attention to discussions. He was still getting use to the whole concept of guilds and had even tried being in the one named 'Infinity Hydra' but after a short while it was clear that it wasn't the best fit for him. He explained as such to Ardere the man who had recruited him in the first place, though the elder battle mage was upset that the youth had decided to leave he was told he would always be welcome back if he decided to give it another try at a later point. He came out of his own head when he heard Zeno speak of his own guild 'Black Rose' so passionately smiling happy that his friend was so happy where he called home and wanted to help it bloom and prosper. It made him laugh a little however when Zenshin spoke of his home guild 'Sabertooth' the same way and was happy from the bottom of his heart for them so much so he had managed to block out the voices even if it was for a little while.

"You don't need to be the strongest for your name to be known over a land you know that right Ze" he eventually commented his hands going to straighten his blindfold before stretching a little "The kindest person, the most valiant, the most proud, the most vile, the most generous, the most helpful, those with status are all known through out a land without having to be the strongest" he stated as an example, he understood that he didn't know much on the subject but he tried to be as helpful as he could with what he did understand, if he was corrected he would try his best to take in the information and come to a new conclusion but it wasn't normally the easiest thing for the youth to do without some help or direction.

"Freaked out?" he blinked under his blindfold not understanding the concept and that was clear by the questioning tone that he used "I don't know what that means, I'm sorry" he explained scratching at the side of his head lightly showing he was a little embarrassed about such a thing. "If you're asking if this place scares or concerns me... it doesn't scare me, but yes the death concentration here is to high and that disturbs and concerns me deeply since most of it is magical" he explained the whispers of the dead slowly coming back "I really wish they'd be quiet, they're giving me a headache" he sighed covering his ears once more only for what it seemed for them to be forcefully pried away by some unseen force. "Bu.. I.." it was like he was trying to get word out but was being cut off at every interval sighing deeply he just nodded "I know my duties Yuui, you need not remind me and I am well aware that my magic also needs my hands to be effective." he hated it when Yuui went on a tangent because it ended up being a lecture that would last for hours. "You realise Leto's right if you lecture me right now nothing's gonna get done... can it wait til later?" his voice was calm and respectful to whomever it was he seemed to be talking to almost as if he was walking on eggshells and afraid that he might break one.

He placed his hands on his feet, his eyes closing as he listened "She came to the village two days ago, she was seemingly injured and instantly taken to the doctor for medical attention. She played the part well of innocent and defenceless child saying that her home had been slaughtered, that she only survived because she had been hidden under the floorboards by her father and mother and told to be quiet and not to move no matter what was heard or seen" he started his voice took an almost monotone as he fought back the need to hyperventilate once more "The first victim here was the doctor, he found out quickly that the blood on her wasn't hers and she was unharmed he had thought that it was more to do with having hugged the bodies of her dead parents but before he knew it he felt something hard hit the back of his head." Advent explained it was clear he was fighting back what he was wanting to do but he knew he had to.

"In his dazed state it didn't take much to overpower him, she bound him to a table and used something to gag him. She took something sharp while he was awake and..." he stopped covering his ears shaking his head he didn't want to hear anymore, nor did he want to tell the others what he was being told it was to much he wished it was all in his head, he wished it was nothing but a waking nightmare but tears would be seen falling down the youths cheeks from under the blindfold as he tried to fight hyperventilating and being sick he didn't have to see to know where the doctors tale was going "Th... they're begging for help... th.. they can't rest or find peace until justice has been served" he explained through the tears he wanted it to stop but until the girl was taken from there he knew the assault on someone like him would never end "Please can we help them?" he begged to the others, for the youngest it was now no longer a matter of what the council wanted but what the dead needed.

Hearing Zenshin's voice was a welcome distraction as he used his sleeved arm to wipe the tears away. "You were a great help" he explained forcing a smile on his face almost like he was trying to put a mask on. 'or a mass genocide' he thought to himself knowing that his parents had witnessed it all and though now they held no resentment towards him when he was younger three had and were cruel to the point the white haired mage had almost taken his own life but had been stopped before he could do the deed. It was at that point the three that blamed him for what had been done realised they had been inhumanely cruel to an innocent little boy that couldn't have helped what was done by his own cursed magic, they understood that even now their words haunted him and why he tried so hard to help the living and guide the dead while balancing his own sanity and the cycles he had become the requiem to.

A place where not only an entire village had been wiped out, but everything in the area seemed to just have died, including the plants and the very earth. Whatever was going on here was a more serious matter than a singular person going on a killing spree, although most people would consider committing genocide on an entire village already bad enough for them to not want to deal with whatever else might be going on in the area. Fortunately Akeya wasn't actually too caring about the deaths of people she had never met or heard of (fortunately here being VERY subjective), so she could consider the possibilities without being too distracted by the thought that a lot of lives had been ended very abruptly in that village.

Of course she had done some research on this place before setting out. Unfortunately since she had to make do with public libraries not all of the information she had been able to find could be considered useful or even realistic. The village in question had already been known as a strange place before this massacre ever happened, being called the Haunted Village because people believed it was a place where spirits and ghosts gathered. It was a village located on the lowest slopes of the Phoenix Mountains, and many believed that the source of the spirits was the temple at the mountainous edge of the village, higher up than any other part of the village and separated by a series of stone steps. Akeya herself was actually born in a village located in a valley somewhere in the Phoenix Mountains, but she had to admit that this place had a more gloomy atmosphere, as if something was keeping the sunlight from properly illuminating everything. Considering all the other strange things that existed in the world she was not one to disbelief the existence of ghosts, spirits or other ethereal entities, although she had to admit she had yet to figure out why this place would attract so many of them. The temple was, all things considered, the likely culprit, but even so that still left her with questions about the how and why.

Regardless, there were many stories about this place, and most of them didn't provide much evidence as they preferred to rely on stories of people claiming they saw strange figures. The facts that she had been able to gather helped but weren't enough: for some reason plants and wildlife had a hard time surviving in the area, nearly anyone who came here felt discomfort or anxiety, and the villagers were very reclusive, with very few records of any of them actually leaving the village. They mostly got by thanks to very stubborn traders and, somewhat surprisingly, tourists. The latter never stayed for very long, but there was always someone who wanted to see for themselves whether the rumours were true. As for the traders, if Akeya understood correctly the inhabitants of this village mostly sold them talismans and similar items.

Of course, with the latest disaster it looked like it would be a while before the traders would have reason to come here again, if ever.

The dragoness had altered her shape into that of a raven, flying through the air as she surveyed the place from above. She was still actually a distance away, but even from up there she should have been able to hear the standard hustle and bustle of a normal village. The complete silence helped confirm that either the people of the Haunted Village didn't want to leave their homes, or there weren't enough people left to help produce the usual clamour. Flying a bit lower she still heard nothing, the only sound being that of the wind as it brushed her dark feathers. Rumours and myths aside, the current issue was that a girl had entered the village and consecutively wiped it out. Since it was a recent event and there didn't seem to have been any survivors the amount of information available on the incident was scarce: the mission given by the Magic Council had only contained a little bit of information which they had procured through scrying. They didn't actually know for sure that the entire village was dead, but what was a fact was the presence of the girl, and the fact that as dreary as the village had been before now it seemed to be completely devoid of life.

Once she was directly above the village Akeya began to circle, looking around until she noticed that a small group of figures had arrived at the outskirts of the settlement. It looked like three humanoids and one pet-like creature, and unlike the rest of the place they had some liveliness in them. They had arrived from outside the village, and while from this high up the feeling was faint Akeya could feel some magic from them. Mages, almost certainly. Giving the village one last cursory look the raven entered a descend, until she flapped her wings to land on one of the branches of the tree the four figures had gathered next to. Folding her wings again she listened to their conversation, watching them with beady black eyes. Ravens and crows were one of the few animals which seemed to be fine with this place, and having a bird land in the tree to watch something unusual should be normal enough for the three mages and the pet to ignore her.

Going by the conversation the three had some familiarity with one another, conversing about the guilds they belonged to and their goals while simultaneously also talking about the village. Not surprisingly the Magic Council had alerted more than one mage about the issue and requested their help in solving it by capturing the girl. Although the youngest looking of the group was behaving... oddly. Like everyone else who visited they weren't comfortable being here, but the blindfolded one looked like he was actually having trouble coping, covering his ears and talking to himself as if hearing voices nobody else could hear. Normally Akeya would be more inclined to believe it a sign of insanity than anything else, but normally she wouldn't be in a place infamous for being haunted by many spirits. Besides, the blindfolded one looked like he had some interest in the spiritual world, and the magic around him was a little bit stranger than with the other two.

The raven stepped a bit to the side on the branch while looking around, Akeya using her enchanted eyes to scout the place for magic or other traps. It looked like these three weren't trying to remain undetected, and their conversation made it clear that at least outwardly they were here to capture the girl, not kill her or make use of her. Most sensible to assume they were here legally to help the Magic Council then, in which case approaching them so they wouldn't treat her as a threat was preferable. Akeya wasn't one for group efforts, but she preferred that over having others complicate her task of capturing the girl because they thought of her as a target as well.

Letting out a croak the raven spread its wings and launched itself off of the branch, flying away until it landed on the barren ground a good dozen yards away. After looking around for a bit it would stare towards the group again, only for its form to change, stretching out and growing until Akeya had regained her true form as a humanoid dragoness. Regarding the three mages with glaring emerald eyes she slowly walked towards them, opening her clawed hands and showing them to reveal that she wasn't planning to do anything before speaking up.

"Going by your conversation you're also here to capture the girl for the Magic Council. Considering the fact that she was either strong or clever enough to wipe out the entire village on her own I'd like to join you to increase the chances of success. I've already scouted the village from high up but there wasn't a single sign of life, so the girl is most likely hiding somewhere indoors, and if I had to guess..." She pointed towards the temple which even from here could still be seen standing out above the rest of the village. "That might be a good place to start looking." Placing her clawed hand back on her hip she indicated herself with her other hand, her scaled tail swaying slowly behind her. "I'm Akeya the Shadow Dragon, formerly belonging to Blue Pegasus before it got disbanded."

"I'll just have to take your word for it, Advent. The job is a bit of a fog in my mind" he said in response to the smallest mage. All he remembered were the bodies and, chances are, it was him that had done so. Advent didn't seem at the very least phased by what he had no doubt witnessed, which led Zenshin to believe that Advent had seen much, much worse before in his life. I wonder what could have been so bad that he doesn't seem at all affected by what we did out there in the desert. I doubt he'd tell me if I asked. We also don't have any mutual acquaintances. It's unfortunate but the best I can do to find out is really just waiting and hoping he eventually trusts me enough to open up he thought before noticing a figure approaching them.

Emerald eyes, dark blue hair, and stealth. Those three adjectives seemed to be most fitting and came to Zenshin when he made eye contact with the newest addition to their group who promptly introduced herself as the Shadow Dragon, Akeya. "You're pretty stealthy, Akeya" he said almost instinctively. If she wanted she could've attacked them and most definitely injured one of them severely. I should be more careful in the future. I never expect to get ambushed on a job by some force that isn't in the job description. "You're definitely welcome to join us if these two are on board, but surely you mean that you're the Shadow Dragon Slayer, right? I know what a dragon looks like and it's definitely not a blue-haired humanoid" he said, tentatively trustful of Akeya. Still, if she was claimed she willing to help them and she was skilled enough to avoid detection by three mages, he was happy to have her assist them. Four mages were definitely better than three - especially when it came to a job in which they had to take a powerful enemy alive.
