Maruko fell back onto the counter as he closed the gate just in time. Before his Lynx Spirit could maul and claw-bber(heh) the poor baby into a red mess. Knowing Lyn she would not stop until that wee thing was more purple than an the worst nurple imaginable! Praising every deity he could think of that it closed. He flicked through his keys as the baby was wailing away. There was only twenty minutes until the couple came back to their lovely home to expect a baby who was asleep. The wizard needed the spirit he had planned on the first time. One of the more dependable spirits he had. Making -SURE- it was the correct on, he'd reveal the key and swiped it. "Gate of the Lyre .. I open thee!" ... he bellows with power, a swipe to his side as he concentrates intense magic power in front of him. Most know not the feat to make a tear between dimensions, even for a common Silver Key.
Before him stands Lyra, a classy looking women with fair skin and curly strawberry blonde hair. Her foreign, other worldly dress and clothing was unique to the Earthland. Upon her head was a pink bonnet. "Oh, Maruko! You hardly ever call me!" she exclaims with both enthusiasm, and disappointment somehow.
His lowers his head. "Sorry, I know to not bother your busy self without a good reason, for you are a valuable spirit ..." the boy reminded her politely, and bows with all the respect one could muster. Truly he loved his spirits, even Lyra who had no combat use! The spirit gives a faint blush and turns around. She squeals. "A baby!" she murmurs and picks him up, jerking him excitedly side to side without harm. "A baby, A baby!" she muses while making a happy face. Lucky for him, Lyra's presence was loved by the baby. He was giggling and laughing, becoming the most docile monster one could be as it curled into the women.
"Please .. Make it sleep. Fast. I need this.." Maruko begs, his hands coming together. She looks up at him with a knowing smile and sits back onto the couch. Even with a baby clinging onto them within her lap she was able to have come to play a hymn to induce sleep in babies. Experience digits carefully flicking away upon her. Pure euphony as a calming melody as the plays an ancient instrument. Soon an angelic, gentle voice follows, filling the room with an angelic voice easily able to catch the hearts of any able listeners.
"♫ Once ... In a lonely Mountain town ... A bird came to me.
She asks, 'Boy, why do you stay so high ... Alone and spiritless.'
Anddd the boy tearfully murmured his sad taleeeee. ♫"
was sung to a low-pitched, saddening tone, setting the mood for a humdrum story. Though slowly gaining momentum as it reached the climax!
"♫ Moved ... She spread her wings and offers her feathery back.
A beautiful landscape below, a world ... so unseen.
Ahead ... An enchanting city, so big and full of life. Light fills his eyes.
The boy ... touched a cloud and knew he'd never be scared again.
Never be scared againnn.~ ♫"
As Lyra hit the last word of her well written, professional hymn. She looked down to see a sleeping infant, and even looked back at Maruko who was also leaning back against the counter in a tired daze. She giggles while lifting the baby up and placed the feral-like child into the crib. A pink and blue blanket, riddled ironically with symbolic birds covered him as it was wrapped snug around the abdomen. A pleasant smooch upon toddler's crown. "Not so monstrous when you're asleep, eh?" she smiles, and adds a giggle while pacing her way over to her owner. "My, My ... You must be tired. I heard from Aries you went through a lot with that lady ..." she teases, chuckling at the groggy Maruko as she helps the boy to the couch, and also awkwardly smooches his forehead. The boy closed his eyes, too tired to protest the affection as she fades away into a dazzling light. "Bye, Bye! Call me soon, okay?" she reminds him in an enthusiastic voice.
Hopefully the parents would be there soon to wake him up and pay him ...
