Wolfe had made his way into the guild hall, because he was tired of working on this damn thing at his workshop in town. So he had decide to set up shop on one of the tables near the back. Being here also had the added benefit of food and drink. Wolfe was hard at work on his new contraption as he managed to shovel a bit of food in here and there. The object on the table was about three feet tall and made of metal.
The base was a little over a foot in diameter and was made of a series of small coils wrapped into a series of circles that each one was smaller as they got closer to the center. Right below those was a box that was metal and had a few wires coming out of it and were connected to the small coils above it. Coming up from the box and going straight up through the open middle of the coils was a metal cylinder. Placed on the top of that was a much larger metal coil almost like a doughnut. It was placed there by a series of wires meant to keep it in place on the top of the cylinder
Wolfe took a step back and examined the object for a few seconds as he tilted his head this way and then that way. A smirk slowly crept across his face as he thought he was almost done. He walked back over and took his finger on his right hand and touched the base. Moments later there was a buzzing sound and Wolfe pulled his finger away. As he did arcs of electricity started to arc from various places on the bottom coil, then they slowly started to wrap up the cylinder and up to the larger coil. As they came to rest at the larger coil the arcs started to shoot out away from the coil and little bolt of lightning started to shoot out. They only went out about a foot, but they were shooting everywhere. As they did a low humming sound could be heard and each time a bolt shot off the coil a small but very deep "boom" sound could be heard.
Wolfe took a step back with a very pleased smile on his face.
