Making a habit out of this...

job information:

It wasn’t long until the guild’s job board was loaded once more with mundane tasks that they had managed to gather from the legal guilds. Odd jobs that people would never ask of a dark guild. Most of these jobs, dark guild members would never consider doing as they would most likely prefer assassination attempts. However, even th most vile beings on the earth needed jewel and some target practice.

Nakiya found herself currently as one such mage, leaping up onto her demon familiar’s back as they readied to depart for a job she had done once before, and apparently, the issue hadn’t stopped. She once more had to break off a blockade formed by vulcan’s and goblins and allow the client to get through to clover. It was an easy job, but she needed some easy money so that she could go out and buy herself some new clothing.
 
Today, she was dressed in a attire that was very unlike her. Black leggings with deep purple stripes that ran up both sides and a long purple sweater that went down to just below her butt. Overtop of this outfit, she had a long deep purple, almost black cloak who’s collar rose up just under her nose, and a hood that would come up to cover most of her face, leaving only her eyes visible to be seen. Though she much preferred  showing off her body, she had been to clover once before, and though all those that had seen her were dead, she couldn’t risk catching anyone elses attention.

The last thing she wanted to do right now was catch the attention of the Rune Knights… or anyone that could alert the magic council to her presence.
 
When Kuro finally took off from his position, Nakiya drew herself in close to the extremely large feline, holding on tightly as the ca travelled at his top speeds in hopes of getting them to clover faster.  However, even at top speeds their travel time only seemed to be cut by half an hour, and when the giant feline came running up to the train that awaited impatiently, the men who had been throwing rocks at the creatures on the bridge, suddenly turned, a few shrieking in fright.

Nakiya leaped off of the large cat and finally walked towards the men, drawing her hands up to show them that she meant no harm to them. In fact, she was holding the job request in hand, and once they allowed her close, she gave them the sheet of paper.
 
“I’m sorry for reacting so harshly miss… we just don’t know what to expect with these creatures… and we definitely weren’t expecting… that th… hey… where’d it go…”
The man stated curiously as the once massive cat was no longer where he had been. In fact, he had returned to his normal size and ducked under the train to avoid detection for the time being.
 
“Don’t worry about him. He won’t cause trouble. I hear these Vulcans and Goblins are causing you quite a bit though… why don’t you let me handle that…”
Nakiya stated as she drew her sword hilt from her side, though kept it unignited for the time being.
 
“Wait ma’am… can you tell us what guild’s answered our request first..?”
The man asked curiously, wondering just who he should be in awe about as he watched the girl, who he should thank.
 
“Blue Pegasus of course.”
She stated with a light, dismissive wave of her hand as she stepped towards the railway and peering into the foggy cover before making her way in to fight off these beasts.

She ran onto the track, leaping over a defensive line created by the train’s employees and soon found a very large tree lying on the tracks, a rather large Vulcan standing behind it , just barely visible above the branches. Nakiya leaped up onto the fallen tree and finally activated her Celestial Sword, the Ten No Toguchi. It sprang to life with a temporary hum of energy as the black blade emerge, crackling with Celestial energy.
 
The  large Vulcan pouted as he pointed at the girl accusingly.
 
“You no bring goods! Want Pie and Sherbert !!”
The Vulcan demanded angrily, running towards the mage as the woman stood up on the tree trunk, bringing the blade up to the side of her eyesight, a smirk crossing her face.

“Extend”
She muttered lowly as the Celestial blade suddenly sprang to life, extending by 5m and stabbing the approaching Vulcan in the chest. With the vulcan’s momentum, the large creature barely had time to stop, howling out in pain as the sword pierced just above the creatures hard, and soon protruded from his back. He attempted to grab the blade and break it, but no matter how much force he put into it, it did nothing but continue to cut into his hands.

Nakiya finally leaped from the tree towards the Vulcan. Twisting the blade as she did so and reducing it’s length, adjusting it as she got closer. She kicked the startled Vulcan in the chest, knocking him back onto the railroad track and landing on top of him, twisting the sword in his chest once more and pulling it downwards to cut straight through his heart. However, the Vulcan’s howl seemed to attract his little goblin friend attention as, out of the tree barricade, a nasty looking creature climbed out and thew a little round object at Nakiya. When it collided with her back, the object suddenly exploded, pushing Nakiya forward and off of the Vulcan with a grunt.
 
“Nasty little shit…”
She growled angrily as she stood back up and took off towards the fallen Vulcan once more. As the creature tried to stand up, Nakiya leaped up above it’s head, and stabbed downwards into his skull, the momentum allowing her spirit blade to easily cut through the bone and forever immobilize the creature. Her eyes then lifted up towards the Goblin who now had tears in his eyes as he looked at Nakiya.

“Y…YOU…. Bad lady! Bad kill Gork friend bad bad lady!”
The Goblin almost seemed to chant as he somehow now held two more of his home made bombs which he began to throw at Nakiya in an angry frenzy.

She pulled her sword out of the vulcan’s head, jumping backwards to avoid the first bomb, and then darting forward to avoid the second. She ran towards the angry little goblin who kept withdrawing bomb from his pockets to throw at her. However,  even at her unaltered speed Nakiya was still faster than the Goblin could be with his bombs. She closed the gap while dodging left and right and soon punched the small creature in front of her, even going so far as to extinguishing her blade.

“Urk… I wouldn’t want to get this sullied on something like you…”
She said as she looked at the small creature with disgust, watching as the tiny thing babbled angrily, attempting to punch, kick and bite the young woman who simply leaped off of the tree, and tossed the goblin over the edge of the bridge, down into the seemingly endless abyss below. She didn’t care how deep it went, the creature would die, eventually.
 
“Well… these two are dealt with… now to deal with this tree…”
She grumbled lowly, drawing her Celestial keys as she went over which would be the best key to use in this situation…

"I guess Vulpeca... could burn it without being too obvious..."
She gumbled to herself, withdrawing the fox's key and bringing it before her in preparation to summon her fire spirit.
