    Letter Delivery! Empty Letter Delivery!

    ”Job Info”:

“Why are we here again?” Vi muttered in annoyance within Vivian’s mind as the pair entered the gates of Magnolia. “Seriously, we were just here a week ago, and you wanted to come back?”
“W-we got another job offer,” Vivian replied, annoyed with Vi’s sarcastic and whiny attitude. “We have to d-deliver a l-letter.” She held up the letter, which had been sent to them along with the request, for emphasis.
“Why the hell does a guy need a wizard to deliver a letter?” Vi responded, the sarcastic edge still present in her voice. “Can’t he just hire a messenger?”
“N-not this time,” Vivian answered, wishing she had a way to lock the other girl up for a while. “We have t-to deliver it to a c-celebrity.”
“Really?” Vi asked, her curiosity piqued. “Why in the world would she come to a backwater town like this?”
“N-no idea,” Vivian replied. “Now shut up s-so I can g-get going.”
“Okay, okay, sheesh,” Vi said, smiling in the knowledge that she was irritating her partner. “Go ahead and deliver it already. Where do we have to go?”
“We’re here.” Vivian stopped just at the edge of a large crowd gathering around what seemed to be a stage in the middle of a park, with several security guards stationed around the stage. “It l-looks like they’re about t-to start. Let’s h-hurry.”
Vivian walked around the crowd towards the back stage, trying to not get sucked into the crowd. She didn’t do particularly well in large groups, being timid, so she wasn’t sure if she’d be able to make it out in time if she got sucked in. Eventually, she made it to the door in the backstage, guarded by two security men. “E-excuse me,” Vivian muttered shyly, holding out the letter, “I have a d-delivery for the star.”
The two imposing men looked at each other, then back at Vivian. “Sorry,” the one on the right said in a gruff voice, “but we’re to not allow anybody backstage under any circumstances. We can’t allow the star to be bothered right before her performance, can we? Plus, we’ll be packing up and leaving right after this performance. I’m sorry, but you missed your-”

He was interrupted by a fist landing abruptly in his face, sending him reeling. Immediately afterwards, a burst of fire appeared on his chest, sending him down to the ground. The other man opened his mouth to call for help, but he found himself punched as well, followed by a spear of lightning pinning him to the ground and a sharp kick knocking him out as well. “I’m no Emilia,” Vi muttered as she stretched, “but I’m no slouch in a fight either. Now to deliver that stupid letter.” The red-headed girl opened the door to backstage and walked inside, leaving the two guards there unconscious.
The star’s room wasn’t too hard to find; all Vi had to do was slip the envelope under the door. She had no intention of getting involved, after all; this was a matter that their client and the star had to settle between them. As she exited the stage, she propped the two guards up against the side of the wall so they wouldn’t get stepped on; she had morals, after all. “Not too shabby, huh?” Vi said as she made her way to the entrance of Magnolia, already planning on how to collect her reward.
“Not b-bad at all,” Vivian agreed.
