Name: Belial
Gender: Male
Age: 300+ (Immortal, stuck as a 22 year old.)
Birthday: 1/1
Sexuality: Straight
Special Characteristics:
Personality:
Once a geeky archaeologist acompanied by his loved one in the dark lands where zeref once roamed, converted into a badass magician on a quest to find (what remains of) his lover Camilla. Belial is an immortal hero adventurer with a sense of duty that terrifies men, women, and immortals alike after having a near death experience where his lover was kidnapped by a warlock priest. Belials personality consists of his morbidity, sense of duty, and slow decent into darkness as a corrupted immortal (slowly becoming a tragic villain).
Passion and Morbidity
Belial is an attractive, intelligent, perceptive, sophisticated, educated, cunning, adaptable, self-centered bastard with an emotional sensetivitity which may translate into having a morbid based borderline personality disorder. His internal conflicts are heavily romanticized. He is a very cerebral character; he broods over his struggles and beliefs. Sometimes portrayed with a suggestion of dark crimes or tragedies in his past. He is intensely self-critical and introspective and may be described as dark and brooding. Dwelling on the pains or perceived injustices of his life, often to the point of over-indulgence (ALCOHOL). He often muses philosophically on the circumstances that brought him to this point, including personal failings.
His morbidity is the cause of being extremely passionate, with strong personal beliefs which are usually in conflict with the values of the status quo. He sees his own values and passions as above or better than those of others, manifesting as arrogance or a martyr-like attitude. Sometimes, however, he just sees himself as one who must take the long, hard road to do what must be done.
Belial's Soul is as turbulant as the ominous mountains on the horizon, his morbid nature and intense drive/determination to complete his mission and live out his philosophy without regard to others' philosophies producing conflict, and may result in a tragic end, should he fail, or revolution, should he succeed. Because of this, he is very rebellious, having a distaste for social institutions and norms and is disrespectful of rank and privilege, though he often has said rank and privilege himself. His rebellion often leads to his own social isolation, rejection, or exile, or to being treated as an outlaw, but he will not compromise, being unavoidably self-destructive.
Determination
There is no stopping Belial. He does not understand tact. He does not Know when to give in, and it's a waste of time to tell him the odds. No one can reason with him. He'll do whatever he has to without question. No price is too great to pay for success (as shown when Belial willingly gives up his soul to an ancient god inside a parasetic ring for the power to achieve his goal), up to and including his own life (and others'). Do not expect him to realize they might be better off letting it go, even if he can barely stand. If you're ever kidnapped or lost with no hope of rescue, he'll be the one who will find you. His adversaries will often shout, in exasperated rage, "Why Won't You Die?!". For Belial there is no line between "perseverance" and "insanity." He will not stop until his goal is achieved, and there behind him a path of blood and chaos.
The Corruption
Belials decent is labeled as "The Corruption", a force of chaos caused by the ring that causes Belial to become more monstrous mentally, slowly twisting and darkening Belial into a mindless monster which the ring can manipulate and use at will. The horrible transformation of his psyche and the spreading of a corrosive tattoo progresses gradually, and the final result will not be Belial. He may become an enemy to all living things capable of inflicting the chaos of a forgotten god upon the people of earth-land, or if he battles it out he may become one of its greatest heroes.
To sum it up, the Elder God inside the parasite of a ring Belial wears has a consciousness which Belial speaks to on a regular basis for advice. Even when Belial is unaware that its actually taking advantage of him and slowly abusing his soul into submission. The Elder god is a smart ass, a jackass, and most of all, a malicious cunning bastard that is willing to ruin a mans life and drive him in the opposite direction of his goals. The struggle for supremacy is eternal, inevitable. Victory is the natural objective of every creature on this world. They will kill and die for their species, faction, or leaders to dominate. Some call this eteral struggle 'equilibrium, the battle between light and darkness. Supremacy is the primary goal of the Elder god, and it wants to take over Belial (for whatever reason, Belial is the morbid warrior and "chosen vessel" of the Elder god, and is the only one to survive the corruption thus far.)

General Appearance
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 170 lbs
Hair: Belials hair is very long and black, hanging down to his shoulders in an unkempt style.
Eyes: Left (Glowing neon green), Right (Hazel)
Skin Tone: porcelain white
Appearance: Belial appears as a 6'0" man sporting lean athletic muscle that makes him appear quite boney for his height. His porcelain white skin comes to a blochy hault on the left side of his body from the neck going down, where the corruption begins and paints his body green in glowing neon tattoos taking on a fractal/thick veiny pattern that leaves portions of his skin exposed and untouched. Belial's face is considered relatively handsome despite covering it up with long black hair that often hides the multicolored eyes that often dazzle and hypnotize others.
Belial is wearing a gladiatory slimline/microscopic hexagonal mesh that leaves both his left arm tattoos exposed to show his guild insignia off. This mesh is completely black, and covers nearly all of his body excluding the neck up and his left arm, having built in boots and an armored right side. On top of this mesh there are various belts that have satchels attatched and hanging filled with survival supplies (I.E essentials, food, water, matches, maybe a book or a magazine to read if he gets bored). His right side is fitted with metal platings on the outside that serve no armor purpose but appaerance only.

- Glowing Tattoos: The magic ring which gave Belial his power has adorned Belial's body with tattoos which spread as the ring corrupts Belial further and further. These tattoos are glowing neon green and often emit an aura of toxicity, forcing Belial to wrap the corrupt portions of his body. The style of these tattoos are ancient tribal markings and writings whcih connect in a fractal/veiny pattern.
- Glowing Left Eye: The magic ring which gave Belial his powers has slowly been corrupting the his body, so far the entire left side of his body has tribal green markings which glow. Even his left eye has been rendered a haunting glowing green.
- Marked Tongue: Belials tongue has strangely been marked with tribal markings on the entire left side, all of which glow.
- Glowing Nails: Belials fingernails are affected by the corruption, the left hand's fingernails constantly glow neon green.
Personality:
Belial
What motivates a man to confront the challenges most of us would run from? condemning him to solitude, exposing him to defeat and death? The answer is love. Love is a human force so powerful that all reason becomes blind to it. blind to all things, even the truth. Loss of love can make a man desperate. Desperate enough to do anything to bury the truth, to hide from its pain. So desperate that a man would go to the ends of earth in search of that love, even if she had already perished. . .

The Elder God
He took your girl, Belial. He took your dreams. And he took your life. That warlock. . . Dracul...he took it all. Only thing you got left is your soul...and that belongs to me. Who am I? Let's just say I'm God; your God...least, the only God that's listening right now. What do I want? Ah, same as any other God; a little faith...for without faith I am nothing...and without me you're fu**ed. She doesn't have to die. I can help you; I can heal your wounds. We can save her, if you show me some faith...if you trust me, if you put me on..

Even when Belial is unaware that its actually taking advantage of him and slowly abusing his soul into submission. Likes:
- Camilla: The only woman Belial ever loved (who is currently a rotting pile of bones in the dark lands having been sacrificed by a mad tribal priest), is the primary source of Belial's drive to search and remain alive. Belial's search has continued for 300 years, and has searched relentlessly across all of Earth Land's darkest most dangerous metaphorical corners. Belial doesn't even know how much time has actually gone by, as an immortal he hasn't aged; and thus the mortal coils of time no longer apply to his body. However, Camilla is human, and died within 10 years of captivity; ultimately being murdered by a crazy priest as stated before.
- Adventure: Belial was once an archaeologist, it was how he came across the ring and lost his beloved in the first place. As an archaeologist he had always had a desire to venture the unexplored parts of the earth in search of treasure and danger. (He didn't think to join a guild at first, and didn't believe it was the easy way to find what he desired.)
- Booze: Drinking appears to be a sport and past-time that both Belial and the ring seem to enjoy. The both of them agree on the subject.
- Girls: Belial is a man, a man that has no love at the moment. A straight man. He is open to relationships with the opposite gender, period.
- Fingerless gloves: They're fancy.
- saying "I'm Batman", and then proceeding to punch things: A random flaw in Belial's personality, caused by the omnipotent entity which resides in the parasetic ring which Belial wears. As an ongoing OOC joke, Belial will often say "I'm a Bat!" or "I'm Batman!" in a dark and decending tone before punching someone through a wall when such topics call for it. This completely breaks the romantacist badass determined vibes of Belial's personality. (This is a preference of the writer, sometimes you cannot help but be silly.)
Dislikes:
- Figures of Authority: When someone (usually 'magic policemen') tells Belial not to do something, they wind up melted, and then he proceeds to do that exact thing. The term to use is "Opositionally defiant."
- Sobriety: "Sobriety, M'dear, is highly overrated." Belial enjoys booze.
- Picture shows: He doesn't like what he doesn't understand.
- Water: Belial is a corrosive phase magician, water depowers him. Water essentially takes away the effects of acid, TONS of water can make acid useless.
- Milk: Lactose intolerance.
- Stealth: One of Belials primary spells is when he creates a shockwave and proceeds to turn invisible and move incredibly fast. This is stealth, and Belial hates stealth.
Motivations:
- Camilla: Lost dead love, blah blah blah, doesn't know she's dead and is still trying to find her after unknowingly searching for 300 years.
- The ring: Belial (although unwillingly) is motivated by the ring constantly.
- Determination: Whatever Belial is determined to do, whatever that may be aside from finding Camilla, makes Belial move forward even if he doesn't want to. If someone tells him not to do something especially, he is then determined to do it.
Fears:
- Failing: Failing to do something would break Belial emotionally. Even more so than he is already.
- Phones: The communication device is the source of an irrational fear. Or is an irrational fear. One of the two.
- "A family": Belial didn't like the idea of having kids. More so he feared the responsibility of having a family. He feels overly responsible for Camilla, too much to have petty worries of a miniature belial running around with death acid shooting from its eyes.
