Sephiria and the remaining hunter stared each other down. The hunter seemed very nervous about facing this obviously demonic figure, as she simply twirled her katana around in circles as she looked at the scared man. Sephiria knew she was allowing Gisen a bit too much leverage in her mind at the moment, but she didn't care as long as she finished what she started to do. Sephiria smirked at the man, who visibly flinched when he saw the cruel smirk on the girl's face. "Oh don't be afraid now sweetie, it will be over soon enough." Sephiria stated in a sickeningly sweet voice, still the distorted mix of two voices. With her other blade gone, she allowed Gisen to be as free as she wanted to be without taking over her body completely. It had the effect she wanted, making the hunter shake in fear as she felt the smirk on her face grow larger. "Are you going to run? No? That's fine by me. I'll just make you regret living." Sephiria's aura showed a bit more as she started creeping towards the man slowly. He seemed very afraid of Sephiria and he should have been, because she was going to take his life away if he wasn't careful enough.
Sephiria once again rushed headfirst into the attack, lazily holding her katana at her side as she ran towards the hunter. She slashed at him vertically, trying to cut him up nice and good. He blocked the fairly lazy slash, and tried to retaliate with a side swipe. However, that plan failed as Sephiria blocked his strike with her katana, and sent a kick towards his ribs. He grabbed her foot and smirked as he believed he had her, until she returned the smirk herself. Sephiria threw a chin lifting kick that launched the man up a foot off the ground. Sephiria took advantage of that, by taking out her blade and giving the man a horizontal slash across his gut and kicking him away. The man fell to the ground in a crumpled heap and stayed silent, while Sephiria sheathed her blade and turned around to go and meet with her teammates for this mission.
The power rush was unreal like eating an entire football stadium of metal in one bite not to mention it was rich with magic. Shivers went down Simon's spine and he violently shook as his body converted the metal into magic power and filled him in just a second. As this was happening the treasure hunter freaked out as he realized what had just happened and threw his arms wide "You idiot child that was worth more then you could ever be! Crystal Make Absolution: Phoenix!" Massive crystals formed and molded around his arms taking on the shape of wings each the size of a large truck and his legs were converted into massive bladed talons as he took to the air. He seemed to be defying physics with the heavy wings and talons but once again he didn't seem to care what was impossible and what was not. He charged Simon but the damage was done, a grey glow emitted from Simon as he threw his head back laughing, metallic scales formed on his skin and his hair stood on end. He spoke with a voice unlike his own "Allow me to teach you the horrors of demon force with my own hands." Magic energy swirled around him as the fight between the metal demon and the crystal phoenix began.
"You played your trump card too late kid! No increase in magic power will bail you out of this mess." The treasure hunter swung at Simon with his large crystal wing as he got close but Simon jump on to the wing evading the attack before jumping at the crystal make mage throwing a God Demon Leg enchanced round house kick at the man's head. The kick would hit home knocking out some of the man's teeth and giving him a bloody nose, but he wasn't done the gem hunter would violently swing both of his wings up at Simon in a deadly X-Slash. Still being mid-air from his round house kick attempt he would be unable to dodge and be caught full on by the attack and get knocked into a wall gaining a severe X-Gash on his chest. He screamed in pain and frustration as his ultimate power was so easily put down, his magic power was brought to insane levels by demon force but his body was still just as injured as it was before and he collapsed against the wall submitting himself to whatever came next. The treasure hunter laughed "Like I said, too little too late. Game over." Simon howeled, but was helpless to really do anything. His body was listening to him to allow him to get close and deliver some powerful kicks and none of his long range spells were really ready to be cast yet. As he thought this and as the treasure hunter was preparing to finish him off Simon remembered he had one spell left in his arsenal, he converted his arm into a mirror facing the treasure hunter and pulled his last straw "Metallic Demon's Mirror Cannon!" a brilliant blast of light shot from the mirror hitting the treasure hunter square in the face. The man would recoil to escape the burning hot light and wrap his crystal wings around his head in an attempt to cover his eye which would have worked except he needed his wings to stay in the air. The crystal make man fell 10 meters crashing into the ground.
He would shed his phoenix as it was too heavy for him to move at that point and approach towards Simon. The man was a real mess, cuts and burns from the earlier stage of the battle, severe injury from taking Simon's howl at point blank, more then a few bruises and damaged bones from his fall from the bridge, not to mention his long cut from Simon's law abiding silver gun, and of course his face which had been mutilated by Simon's kick and mirror cannon. But still he stood and he raised his hand forming a crystal hammer and held it above his head looking down on Simon who was helpless despite still being under the effects of demon force "Any last words kid?" Simon groaned and looked up at his foe and said as loud as he could (which wasn't very loud) "Sephiria! Take him down." Before slipping into unconsciousness.
When Sephiria spotted 'Washington' she released a breath of relief, although she knew he would really need her help seeing as how badly he looked beaten. The man, who still had his attention on the younger mage, hadn't noticed Sephiria yet, the poison dragon slayer decided to catch him after Washington had hurt him as much as he could. Sephiria watched the battle unfold in front of her, silently creating senbon in both her hands after sheathing her blade. She had to restrain herself from interfering, knowing that it might upset Washington later if she had saved him mid fight. Chuckling silently to herself, she watched as Washington would go into Demon Force. So this is the power of a true slayer. This is unimaginable, if only I had enough poison to test my true ability. Sephiria continued to prepare herself, slowly creeping up on the fight but staying far enough as to not get caught up in the fight. When Washington managed to knock the man a good one before he fell, Sephiria got completely ready. She positioned herself so her throw wouldn't be completely off, and prepared for whatever signal that Washington would give her. The man approached the downed young mage and asked him if he had any last words. Washington said only one thing, which set Sephiria's hands into motion.
"Sephiria! Take him down."
Sephiria's senbon flew at high speeds towards their target, impacting him and forcing him to drop the hammer away from Washington's downed body. Sephiria used this time and his disorientation to rush and kick the man hard in the back. The crystal-make user flew a fair distance before landing hard with a thud on the ground. He struggled a bit before picking himself up, and turning to growl at Sephiria. He used what remained of his energy to create a crystal sword and charged at the poison dragon slayer. Sephiria drew her katana and met him halfway, their blades clashing together. They traded blows back and forth, neither being able to get a real advantage on the other for what seemed to be a long time.
Sephiria eventually blocked a kick meant for her side with her shin, and returned the favor with a kick to his side that disoriented the crystal make user. Sephiria pushed the advantage, striking him a few times with her blade and with kicks. Sephiria pulled back for a second, but was immediately on him again with a spell. "Poison Dragon's Claw! Sephiria struck the man with her right hand in a ethereal claw, giving him a large gash on chest. The man stumbled, but Sephiria was still not done with him just yet. She continued her attack, delivering more blows to him and leaving more gashes on his entire body. Sephiria backed off once more, but decided to end it with a new combination. Stretching her arms out wide, she started to spin in a circle before calling out the last spell she would use in this fight. Poison Dragon's Talon Circus." Spinning and creating a small tornado like projectile. Sephiria struck the man over and over with her blades, causing gashes to worsen and the crystal make user to be standing only on pure adrenaline. He was obviously unconscious, but Sephiria decided to end it with a vicious headbutt that knocked him completely down.
"That was for Washington." Sephiria mentioned as she put away her blade. Turning around and leaving the downed man where he was, she quickly walked over towards Washington. Gently picking him up, she adjusted him onto her back and started walking towards what she believed to be the way towards the vault.
"Well. Time to find this vault and get moving. Don't want to stay here longer than what is necessary." Sephiria muttered, beginning her walk towards where the treasure hunters dug for the treasure vault. Sephiria kept her guard up during the entire walk, but she didn't encounter anymore of the men that had come to take the treasure for themselves. Sephiria eventually came across a dead end, but it looked a bit different than any other dead end that people might come across. The wall in front of her looked a bit different than most others, almost as if it was a fake. Wait.....fake? The young dragon slayer set Washington down on the floor while leaning him up against the side wall, before walking up towards the apparent fake wall. She cocked her fist back before throwing a punch with all her might. It broke right through the wall, and as it started to crumble around her the young dragon slayer's eyes widened. Sephiria smirked as she turned away from the vault, and sighed in relief.
