Stumbling almost blindly through the deep, black forest sapphire eyes can only see faint glows through the dense and gloomy leaves. She can smell the water from the rain, nostrils filled with the damp scent of the muddy earth that squelches as she treads lightly on it. Cautiously, with an ounce of fear of the many spooky and mysterious noises that come from all directions, obscuring her mind in a veil of curiosity.
Suddenly something big and dark flaps its way across her path startling the pinkette into shock. Looking around she finds comfort in the knowledge that it is an owl, which now sits on a high branch, cooing loudly as if to warn others of the lady's humble presence in this wilderness. She took a few steps forward, tracing her fingers on the very tree, which felt ancient to her touch. It gave the impression of a sanctuary.
A longing to wander around tears her mind as she listens to the trees rustling in the wind. If one listens to these sounds silently for a long time, this longing reveals its kernel, its meaning. It is not so much a matter of escaping from one's suffering, though it may seem to be so. It is a longing for home, for a memory, for new metaphors for life. It leads home. Every path leads homeward, every step is birth, every step is death, every grave is a memory.
So the tree rustles in the evening's silence, when she stands uneasy before her own childish thoughts, the brevity and the quickness and the childlike hastiness of her thoughts achieving an incomparable and rare joy.
"Erza, you think this girl will arrive?" - a hissing voice questioned, shattering the silence.
Her eyes turned to the winged snake, her companion, who chose to hung on a low branch while waiting, "Well, we can wait a bit more. We reached early because the guild is nearby." she replied in a calm tone while turning her gaze back to the entrance of the Spooky Forest.... waiting.

The wind flowed through her cloak causing a full body shiver. Kayra was almost there at the entrance to the forest where she would meet up with her partner who she had not met yet.
"I wonder what she is like and more importantly, What kind of magic she uses." Kayra spoke out loud for her Beautiful Companion to hear. A giggle could be heard from beneath Kayra's Purple Cloak. "GeGe.. I wonder that too! everything Ive heard has been either good or bad about her." Kayra's Faery companion swirled out of the cloak and around her. "I hear Neutral things things too Jazmin." Kayra picked up the pace to get to he forest sooner all the while Jazmin circled around her.
A certain smell was in the air that she recognized, the smell of booze. The smell lead Kayra to a Drunken man walking towards the Hunting village, away from the spooky forest. In a drunken tone the man warned of great and powerful monsters that lurked in the spooky forest. The mumbles of the man were unheard by kayra but because of all the times Kayra had gotten wasted the Faery could understand drunk people. The Glimmering Faery told Kayra of the warning , but she simply shrugged it off and smiled at the challenges that awaited ahead. They were nearly at the entrance to the Spooky forest and had seen a figure of a beautiful woman in the distance. "That must be her." Kayra smiled and picked up the speed to keep her from waiting.

An overbearing sensation of joy rushed through her as she looked forward towards the hazy dark blue horizon and was able to nearly see into the next day. The extravagant yet somewhat gloomy colors of the sky flew through her head as she was blinded in such awe. The radiant moon drops tardily in a blood streaked splendor, emitting a silvery glow over the remote and uncharted woodlands below. The clouds crawl sluggishly across the sky in a wavelike motion, projecting amethyst and white colored beams of light from one edge of earth to the other. Towards the right there were hawks spiraling upwards, looking as though they are about to pass through the atmosphere into outer space.
Looking over the distance of vast land and greenery she wondered about the time it would take someone to see everything that this world had to offer.
The moon now far into the sky looked bigger than ever. It took on an angelic white glow and illuminated all of the forest below. The particularly vivid light reflects off of the small puddles of water that form on the ground continuing to expose the secrets of the night.
The clouds rolled away, unmasking all the stars that were shyly hiding behind. The contrast between the moon, the stars, and the mystifying black universe is undeniably incredible, like millions of camera flashing; all continuously going off and forever getting brighter.
As Erza's eyes admired the calmer side of the Spooky Forest, she caught a glimpse of someone walking towards her and suspected it to be her partner on this job. Taking a few steps forward she was able to make out a woman somewhat around her own age, with a cloak draped over her shoulders.
A friendly smile graced the pinkette's lips as she extended her hand for a shake, "I'm Erza. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." she spoke with an awkward tone, trying her best to remove the cold demeanor her voice usually held, while throwing a glance at the snake which still rested on the tree.

Kayra finally was right next to the figure that she had seen in the distance. "Hello Erza! I am Kayra L Terra, Its a pleasure to meet you as well!" She was super excited to meet her partner and was finally here at the legendary spooky forest for the first time. She wondered what they would run into in this forest or if they would find treasure. She seemed to almost drool over the image of a large chest filled with riches. But she snapped back into reality thinking of the mission. "..Err.. where should we start looking?" Kayra quickly said trying to cover the fact that she had almost drooled all over herself. Kayra Looked to the Forest which swayed in the chilly breeze and started to walk inwards. she fell as a raven swooped down scaring the life out of her. Kayra sat on the ground for a moment wide eyed as a bit of sweat came from her face. "Oh.. it was just a bird." She sighed while getting back up with a bit of relief. She then turned to Erza and smiled, "Shall we?" The Forest was full of noises that she had not even heard before, high and low pitches and voices came from everywhere in a haunting manner. Kayra hid under her Dark Purple hood and looked everywhere almost paranoid with the feeling of someone watching or following. she made another sigh of relief as one of the noises turned out to be a dead hollow tree. Kayra took a deep breath as they traveled through an area with many dead trees a cawing could be heard from multiple directions and even voices from the ravens around them saying random things. "Turn back.." "Hahahaha!" "You will not survive.." a few made a simple laugh while other ravens copied a phrase from people that they have heard.

Erza followed Kayra silently, without a single sound, observing the Spooky Forest in its full glory. She had been here countless times before and it never missed to catch her whole attention. At the same time, she was keeping an eye over Kayra, as the woman seemed to be slightly clumsy; maybe it was her first time in the Spooky Forest. The caws of several ravens reached their ears, startling the pinkette a bit, as they showcased their talent to speak the human tongue. It was Erza's first time witnessing this and her pupils dilated at them with interest.
With a bit more of walking, the duo reached a denser part of the forest, where all noises seemed to desert them. Ahead, coils of vaporous mist en-wrapped the shaggy heads of the trees. They writhed around them like a conjurer’s milky smoke, sensuous and illusory. Sieves of mist caressing the lichen-encrusted bark. Adding its phantasmal gas to the damp breath of the forest, gliding with deadly intent. It deadened sound, haunted glades and poured into empty spaces. A sepulchral silence overhung the hallowed ground where the trees didn't dare grow. Nothing stirred, nothing shone, nothing sang. A hollow echoing, like the hushed tones of a great, slabbed cathedral, entombed the wood.
A small hiss left the winged snake who now followed behind them, a sign of uneasiness. Erza turned behind, an eyebrow propped, questioning him without words.
"I sense something malicious."
At the utterance of these words, the pinkette could smell an unusual stench in the nearby vegetation and it surely wasn't friendly. With a quick movement, she grabbed Kayra by the arm and bring her to a halt, "I guess-" she started but was cut through, as something leapt out of a nearby bush. It was Vulcan with pointed ears, eyebrows that were arched and up swept and with a sickening green tinge to his skin.
A sigh escaped Erza's lips as she scanned the creature and turned to Kayra, "Let's have some fun, shall we?"

Kayra Watched as the Mist Danced around her body, the noises of the forest seemed to become silent as they walked through to a clearing where nothing dared to grow. only the mist could be seen wrapping and twisting around everything it touched. Kayra let out a sigh of relief, This forest was a lot different from the forest where she was born and raised and it had a very odd feeling to it but she began to get use to it all, It began to be exciting. Kayra Took off her hood for the first time during this mission. Her long midnight black hair flowed down her curvy figure. Kayra turned over to Erza who was looking behind herself. Kayra Sensed it as well, It was as if someone was watching them and ready to pop out and ambush . she prepared her Staff for a swing at whatever it was that would come.
Kayra started walking forward to see if it would pop out on Kayra's side but was halted by Erza grabbing her arm. Just as Erza began to say something a figure with Pointed ears revealed itself, she remembered exactly what this creature was, A Vulcan. Its odd green color and sickening drool reminded her of the first time she had ever encountered a Vulcan. As Erza Turned and spoke to Kayra she Quickly replyed with a big grin on her face. "We Shall!" Kayra swiftly made the first move, A strike with her staff.
Kayra moved too quickly and totally missed her target however, even if Kayra was on target The Vulcan looked like he would have blocked the first attack anyways. Kayra rolled across the misty ground and prepared herself for what was to come next.

"We Shall!" Kayra replied enthusiastically, as she proceeded to attack the Vulcan with a staff and missed. Taking a deep breath, Erza readied herself to attack. The next moment, she crossed her hands in front, as a crimson arcane circle appeared and shed its ethereal light all around, letting it dance in the darkness of the forest. At the disappearance of the circle, her hands were covered in deadly poison. Ten massive streams of venom spiraled towards the Vulcan's direction; who brought forth a shield from nowhere. It seemed that even he had some magic in his arsenal.
A majority of the waves collided with the creature's shield and changed direction, hitting a tree behind him with loud explosions that rang throughout the forest. The previously calm woodland was a bit chaotic now, as birds took off from the treetops. Some streams twirled around his defense and shot him on his body. The Vulcan let out a gurgling gasp as the shield clattered to the floor next to him and dissipated into thin air.
With a smirk on her lips, Erza watched the creature with interest, but never letting her guard down. After a few seconds it stood back up, an arm wrapped around his torso; for his green skin had blackened at several places now. The venom used in her magic had already started to take its toll on his body, most probably numbing and paralyzing everything from inside.
With an unexpected sweep of his hand, the Vulcan launched two orbs of energy in Erza's direction. She tried to move out of its way but one of them hit her in the arm, bringing a sharp pang of pain.
'Not bad....'

Kayra Watched in Awe as Erza worked her magic on the Vulcan and got even more excited. The Vulcan had been hit with a powerful attack and staggered side to side, even so, he had his own form of magic and threw two orbs at Erza. One of them missed and the other had hit. At that point Kayra was a little pissed that the little green bastard caused pain to erza. She began to from a Bright Purple Amethyst Crystal around her wrist and hand, making a Gauntlet. she aimed directly at the Face of the Vulcan and charged to deliver a 32 MPH strike, The Knuckles of the Gauntlet sharpened as she threw the Brilliant Purple Punch at the Face of the Vulcan. An echo of shattering could be heard from the vulcans skull as he fell to the ground. Kayra Smiled feeling pretty badass , making up for the first strike that she had missed. Kayra heard some more coming towards them, it probably would not be too hard to find them after the echoes of battle within the forest. Jazmin Popped out of Kayra's cloak to llok at what had just happened. "He looks pretty dead.." The Faery said with all obviousness. "Yeahhh... He is probably dead." Kayra smiled at the victory they had and turned to Erza. "More should be coming soon, Right?" Noises could be heard here and there and she wondered if it could be the vulcans devising a plan against them. "Hmmm... I really really.. REALLY dont like Vulcans.. Im ready to battle now! im all warmed up!" Kayra's Gauntlet Faded back to her regular form and she readied her staff for more action. a Coughing came from the 'dead' Vulcan , it turned out he had a few more moments of life left in him. Kayra looked over to him remembering the mission. "Ohhh yeahh... We can interrogate him."

Erza observed as Kayra punched the Vulcan straight in the face with some kind of a amethyst made gauntlet, which she summoned magically. An interesting magic it was, seemingly using the power of the jewels and gems to power up the young woman. "More should be coming soon, right?" she questioned Erza who simply blinked, instead of replying. The pinkette was gifted with a rather acute sense of hearing and of course she could hear the low rustles in the vegetation around them. The noises made by the duo had indeed caught the attention of several undesirable creatures. For a second her mind pondered on whether their client's pet was still alive somewhere in this wilderness or not. From what she had heard, it was supposed to be a normal puppy.
'How the hell are we supposed to find it?' she questioned none other than herself. As if one cue, her brain came with a great possibility, a plan automatically started to devise itself in her head. Taking a few steps towards the almost unconscious Vulcan, Erza picked him by the collar of the strange attire he was wearing, hearing nothing but groans from his drooling mouth. She slightly slapped its cheek in an attempt to bring it back to consciousness, as its heavily lidded eyes fluttered open painfully.
"Tell me, did you see a puppy? In the forest?" she queried.
"Huh?" the creature groaned, its eyes closing shut once again.
For a second, the lady doubted whether it actually spoke human tongue, but then remembered her ability to talk to creatures of all kind, meaning that it should understand her perfectly; even if she spoke human.
"Speak up will you?!?" her voice was a bit raised this time, feeling a bit restless by seeing that ugly thing so close.
"Nooooo..." it spoke in a low voice, before drifting to unconsciousness. With a disappointed click of her tongue the pinkette left her hold, letting him fall on the squelchy ground with a mufffled thud.
She turned to speak to Kayra, but once again the rustles from the leaves grew louder and out leapt a trio of Vulcans.
"Searching for a puppy, are we?" one of them questioned mockingly. And before either of the women could reply it spoke again, "Our friends have it! And it'll surely make a nice dinner. But since you both are looking for it and we're in mood of a good fight-"
Erza cut through, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll make sure you taste blood tonight. The only thing is... that it'll be yours!" she exclaimed while sweeping her arm in front, forming a crimson magic circle. Out of it poured several scale shaped masses of poison, twisting and turning and hitting the shortest of the Vulcan's. It was pushed back into a tree trunk, as another loud explosion echoed around the forest.
The other two stared at her with their eyes wide open, surprised at the rather unanticipated move by Erza. With a simple smirk, she muttered, "Tch. I'm a bit too loud."

Kayra watched Erza's back as Erza Interrogated The Vulcan. Kayra did not understand what the vulcan said but it looked like the results were not worthwhile. Just as Erza was about to say something to Kayra three vulcans revealed themselves from the mist, speaking in a language that kayra did not understand. Kayra smiled as Erza started the party with a Blast of her magic, and again Kayra watched in awe as the smaller vulcan zoomed into a tree.
"my Turn!" Kayra Shouted With joy as her fingernails glowed with a Purple and White. Her nails grew into 6 inch long amethyst spikes, she smiled with a bit of excitement as she looked at each of the Vulcans and analyzed the vital points where the energy flowed. Kayra crossed her arms showing all ten Glowing Spikes of amethyst and with a throwing motion they were released, aimed at each of her foes. However each of the Vulcans had either dodged or blocked the fierce attack made by Kayra. She Glared as the Stronger ones as they smiled a sick smile of joy. "Damn it!!!!!" Kayra yelled and prepared for the worst. The two stronger vulcans charged at Kayra with swiftness. The ground seemed to shake a little as the large ones pranced towards her. "Damn.. I need to dodge or block before they hit me!" Kayra thought to herself as she readied her Staff that had spirals engraved into the Redwood. ".. they are charging quicker than i thought.. will i be able to block this?" Kayra thought to herself once more as a little bit of sweat dripped down the side of her face.

The Vulcans proceeded to attack Kayra, as she stood defenseless for a second. Seeing it as the perfect moment to prepare a move against them; that is while they were distracted, Erza put her palms together. In between them, a small orb of poison was formed, growing in size with each passing second. As it reached a considerable size, the pinkette flailed her arms backward, releasing the orb, which hovered above all of them. A strong red light pulsated around it, casting a ghoulish glow in the forest around, before it disintegrated into several arrow-like streams.
The light from the orb had caught the Vulcan's eyes and they left their attempt to hit the Amethyst Mage, turning their eyes to the sky above. The toxic arrows twisted, turned and twirled, making their way to the creatures with amazing speed. However, both the Vulcans summoned shields to their aid; magically. Using it to cover themselves, they let out a small chuckle simultaneously.
Erza's attack collided with their defense and simply disappeared into thin air, as only one single stream hit a Vulcan straight in the chest.
Both of them turned their gaze towards the pinkette, the one who was hit, letting out a shuddering gasp while clutching his chest. The other one glanced at his partner for a second and then without missing a single beat, summoned a staff for himself. It spurted in Erza's direction, it's hollow eyes holding a vengeful look and charged at her, making three slashes of which Erza dodged two successfully and get hit by the third on her arm.

Kayra was a bit defenseless but it was the price to pay when her attacks failed and the enemy sees an opportunity to attack. However, Erza Saved her by making a quick attack with her very amazing magic that kayra always sat in awe over. The attacks were blocked by magical shields though, dispersing the magic erza had rained upon them. The vulcan's switched targets and charged at Erza bringing her a little bit of harm. Kayra glared at the vulcan who had landed a strike and let her nails grow with amethyst once more. this time she aimed better at each of the vulcan and with a X formation slash she released the technique into the Vulcans vital points. However, the spell was either blocked or dodged again. One of the Stronger vulcans charged at kayra quickly with a Gauntlet made of Iron, this Time Kayra was prepared and Chanted words. "Amethyst Aura!" Kayra's offense and Defense increased as the Flexible Amethyst surrounded her entire body like an extra layer of skin. She was a little worried at the fact that these guys kept dodging and blocking the attacks but she knew that this Aura would definitely help with the situation. "Damn it.." Kayra thought to herself as the Vulcan charged. She had not felt like this in awhile, was she lacking in technique and skill? why is it that her Shards missed or were blocked so easily? She Glowed with Purple as she thought about all the points where she might be lacking. But she shook it off, "I have the Crystal defense on my side. I will not go down so easily."

The Vulcan who had previously attacked Erza was being kept busy by Kayra at the moment. Seeing that the raven-haired woman was more than adept at fighting these creatures, the Dragon Slayer decided against butting in her companion's clash.
Thus, azure eyes shifted their attention to the other Vulcan and she prepared herself by letting her hands blaze with deadly venom. With a small smirk donning her lips the lady spurted forward in its direction, aiming a punch on its sickening little face; which it dodged flawlessly. Without missing a beat, her other hand aimed for its stomach, but out of pure instinct it blocked the attack with its palms. Seeing how both her attacks were unsuccessful, Erza spun on her heels, ending herself up in the Vulcan's blind spot; it's back thus landing a bone-breaking kick right in its spine, letting the shattering sound of the osseins ring around.
The creature was thrown a bit ahead due to the hit and the pinkette decided to play it to her advantage. She turned and rushed backwards with amazing speed, while at the same time covering her feet in poison; the beginning of one of her spells. Using the momentum, the lady ran on to the trunk of a tree and used it to rocket herself high above the ground. With that, her feet emitted two huge streams of toxins, which she tried landing on the Vulcan by a twist and a flip in the air. One of the waves hit the being right in the chest and it hurtled straight into the nearby vegetation. At the same time, Erza settled on the forest ground smoothly, as her spell cushioned her landing.
"That'll be the end of him." she muttered to herself, but maybe not exactly correct; as a small blade sped out from the bushes and dug itself straight in her arm.
With a small grunt, the pinkette removed it, being so used to such wounds and tossed it aside on her ground while proceeding to the place where the Vulcan laid.
"No need to go in there." the hissing voice of Zar warned, as he emerged out.
"He's already knocked out. It was a last attempt... and if I might add, a successful one." he stated while noticing the cut on Erza's arm.

The Vulcan Charged at a great speed at Kayra but she was fast to act and dodged the attack, the vulcan slammed into a tree shattering the dead tree to pieces. Kayra smiled and Let off one Last Crystals shard barrage from her hands at the vulcan and focused on the vital points of energy. At last, the attack worked! the Crystal was thrown into the shoulders, the knees, both sides of the neck, stomach, wrists, and other places that pinned the Vulcan harshly. the Vulcan suddenly looked dizzy and off balance, Kayra Smiled and went in for another attack with her Staff this time.
She thrusted it into the vulcans stomach where one of the 6 inch crystal shards were but the attack was blocked quickly by the gauntlet he wore. The Vulcan seemed to go into a rage summoning another Gauntlet around his other hand and wrist, he swung madly around her but his movements were slower and unsteady, pretty easily blocked or dodged by Kayra. She knew she had weakened him but the fight was long from over, this Vulcan was the stronger kind that normal people would not mess with.. lucky for her, she wasn't normal, far from normal. The vulcan made three powerful attacks that were greater than the other flawlessly dull swings. One, he punched towards she head but she ducked, resulting in his hand in the tree. two, he made another strike downwards to get her but she rolled across the misty ground. The last strike was with his ugly foot, thrusting forwards, but fell down from the dizziness almost unable to get up. Kayra looked over to Erza wondering if there was another one hiding around.
