The door would open to Mythal's office, a place that Wren had, undoubtedly, seen and been within plenty of times before. Given that the young Rune Knight had worked one on one with the Director several times before his promotion, the two had a kinship that the elder didn't relatively have with other members of the organization. Mythal was standing near his desk, a tome sitting on the edge of the polished wooden frame and clearly acting as the focus of the Director. His eyes flicked up to Wren as he entered and a small, familiar smile came across his face.

“Hey kid," he said as he flipped the tome shut. “Glad ya could make it. Somethin' came across my desk that I think yer perfect for." As he spoke of it, the Director walked around to the back of his desk and grabbed a folder from the opposing corner. He circled back to the front and offered it to Wren, even as he started speaking. “There's been some kind of outbreak at Peace Village. A toxin has been causin' people to get sick and a lotta them are startin' to look like they're knockin' on their own coffins. Cursory investigations seem to point towards a poison in either the water or the food supply. Someone with your knowledge of potions and the like, you might be able to figure out what it is and make a cure for it. On top of that, I'll need ya to identify what the cause is and see if ya can't take care of it. If it's a person, arrest them. If it's something natural, find a way to move it so it doesn't cause any further problems."

Mythal gave her a nod. “Yer ready for this. If ya need supplies or some Knights to back ya up, you can take what ya need from the barracks and inventory. Otherwise, get on it. I'm lookin' forward to seein' how you handle it."
